MSM Online 43 - Nikita2 (Robin) Vs. Sharp (Sephiroth) - Winners Quarters

was cloud really happy in smash probably was maybe he was stopped here for a while settle it and smash that like button i like the little intro he gave okay here we go newest dlc character we have available um until pyro and mithra take the scene yeah this matchup kind of makes sense or this character choice from a shark kind of makes sense just because sephiroth has the range to uh hit robin from far away while she's charging a projectile also um good projectile of his own too so you can definitely do some crazy stuff with except for us in this matchup i think right but not an easy character to play online whatsoever oh nice catch beautiful from nikita yeah very bad position to be in oh mike yo nikita is going crazy trying to get that nare that narrow hit that drops on there i'm pretty sure even seth probably died from that because levin swordnair is ridiculous insane move i mean 11 ariel's in general yeah sharp having a really hard time trying to keep up this ledge control not really giving nikita looks like a lot of opportunities to come back at the center stage yep we're just back in neutral now sharp not really to get anything off of that uh stage control there yeah tefron isn't getting f tilt or uh neutral b traps at the ledge it's not easy to let's trap can't get that it is fine there we go back here able to take the stock oh nice choice from sharp to not hold shield there because that's very scary shield break set up from robin oh he has a shadow player oh okay he's gonna shield this almost almost gets a chance to get the shield break yeah i feel like whenever stepharov hits you with the shadow flares and he has the wing he is temporarily the best character in the game yeah this is a heck of a ton of damage just from that one opening that he got let's see oh down smash not able to connect how's he gonna continue this this time tries to catch him off guard oh nice a b oh if he didn't reverse that b would have killed there wow no lag after hitting him on shield that he'll thunder yeah crazy there we go four there put puts himself in a good position so has the wing too so this is really scary for uh nikita oh my wow only sephiroth can do that only sephiroth can do that a nikita positioned to get a down air on his jump but several's up there covers so much nice oh he had no jump there he could have just down there him yeah i thought he was gonna go for it but not quite i guess it wasn't feeling too confident on it just let the opportunity pass we're living still oh try to go through not quite luckily for nikita several doesn't have the wing anymore still a huge lead though right now wow yeah i was i was hoping he would do it because there was no way to avoid a bee there after he did i think art fire he's in so much lag yeah uh and yes the the best oh yeah yeah we actually we have to watch the whole thing it's a rule yes that's a tournament rule whenever sephiroth gets that victory screen no one's allowed to skip it it's like damn i thought joker had the best one for a while but then they just went ahead and said hey we're bringing uh we're bringing back sephiroth this time joker's windscreen is irrelevant now that sephiroth is in the game yeah crazy right damn that was that was nice yeah very nice comeback looked like he was having a rough time in the beginning but uh kept school and continued on got some crazy stocks there like if sephiroth can get the damage output he's definitely very scary so he was able to get those opportunities he needed so yeah especially when he gets the wing because you're doing more damage and you can combo easier because of the added mobility and damage really good comeback mechanic that wing yeah i mean they don't call it one winged angel for nothing akita working on a zero to death right now almost not quite it gets out of the way in the arc fire very smart oh wait chuck has the wing he's getting beat up right now but if he gets a hit things can get really scary for nikita that was a really good ledge trap honestly oh and nice angle my shield yep oh guess in there try to wait out a double jump or something but not quite able to find anything yet shark's gonna try to play around the arc fire here nice to hold down and get the hitbox out on the upbeat i'm not quite able to get the position for the back air they still got himself some ledge control still has the wing too no double jump yes there we go closes out the stock very nice stuff from shark yep since he had the extra jump for the wing he could afford to go out there like that amazing stock very sharp great use of using wonder wing there one why they wondering i'm in one wing nice nice down smash from nikita he is playing very well it's just charm can find a one opening and just do so much off of it because of the strength of stuff bro right our fire gets out of the way gets caught by the thunder though but the tomb's gone he's gonna throw it yep just keep him at bay trying to get that chip damage and continue on so shadow flare is really good against uh other projectiles most of the time because it goes through a lot of them so like say he has the arc fire up you just shadow flare it'll hit robin yeah i see yeah it'll just like go right through it most of the time what's up with final fantasy characters getting transcendent projectiles crazy we'll try to find something without all the crash not quite though oh you know what's interesting sharp hasn't used uh scintilla yet the zombie right oh almost yeah had the right idea oh okay unfortunate going a little bit too deep nikita will definitely take that though man this is one of the most hold forward robin players i've seen oh dang just call them out on uh call them out on the arc fire to let you try and protect themselves that back here is just gonna go through it because of the range yeah severus range is something else man look there it is again see went through right through the ark thunder with the shadow player sharp isn't going for uh shield breaks when he has all the shadow player on robin yeah i guess uh oh smash oh my god yeah you're so dead damn that's a very nice play crazy i don't know what percentage that rob was at but he was at like 40 at the start of that and then ended at like 90 with that after that match i think that was crazy [Music] all right we're definitely changing the stage this time it looks like nah trap's gonna probably switch characters here if it's if it's the sharp i know or maybe just changing oh yeah yeah there you go go from one anime character to another anime character yeah i thought he would actually start joker in this matchup joker has so much mobility that he can like play around all of robin's traps then he gets arson gets a reflector has ridiculous combos and kill potential [Music] let's see joker's kind of difficult to play online though so yeah i can see that oh you know what almost got yep there he is easy rebels guardian uh but car car are very good in this matchup yeah i can imagine and every time he absorbs a projectile this is this free um i thought he would go for up here there uh nikita oh he closes in look at that four there oh try to go in even further it doesn't get back to the station time so now we're back in neutral but he's still going try to keep up that pressure before nikita can collect himself stage has to use the guns but no avail oh i don't know if they admit to do that bark fire like that nice okay finding neutral there keeps himself to control but this is really oh i'm surprised he shielded that i thought he would just go for the free rebels guard and get arson okay fourth row pick them off okay they both throw their their projectiles and you guys are said again oh wow but you got arsenal or 11 back there which one's worse i think 11 back here because it looked like they died at the same time even though sharps the one that flew across the screen but there we go full full uh rebels guard not able to do much with arsene this time around though probably just gets the recovery probably gonna wait it out yeah it looks like shark's having a hard time just really getting around this right now let's see how sharp tries to get around this having a really hard time just closing at the gap yeah it's actually hugely for nikita right now having a hard time getting around arc fire oh but he still has an air yeah oh my goodness my darks are off stage the thunder's back oh let's trap that very nice stuff damn that was oppressive at the ledge almost like he couldn't do anything about that yeah look very difficult to get around that those arc fires and then getting thor on just in time even though uh was looking a little bit low on the thunder engage just got it back after uh taking them off stage again okay take some off stage yeah it looks like sharp's having a this is one of those things where it looks like he's having a hard time really um closing out or getting a punish but like you said this is a hard character to play online so if you're even a little bit off it can definitely spell harm for you yeah not over though especially now that he almost has our sin he'll be even better if oh almost oh yeah i thought i saw the combo and i was like yo wouldn't it be funny if arson came out right another opportunity though just on the other side of the stage fourteen don't think he has a jump here but he still had the arc defender to cover himself that was really smart recovery god for the book oh my goodness a lot of pressure right now we might lose our sin yeah that's rough losing our sin before getting the stock it's going to be a while before he can get another one yeah unless he absorbs the projectile then yeah yeah and he'll get it back real quick but nikita probably not going to let that happen just gonna take it slow and find that straight hit that's gonna close out the stock and we're at that uh percentage was kind of hard for joker to really find anything to get a kill but oh no no down through you want the hard fire here because the jump oh no percent taken at the end that let's try perfectly timed from nikita that was nice yeah very nice stuff yeah out that's game there that is not easy to do that is a very hard matchup for robin you
