SWISS VLOG #2 | How I Get to Work!

hey youtube good morning so I'm on my way out the door to get to work it is 7:30 have to be there at 8:30 so I'm hoping that's enough time I don't want to be late so I just wanted to take you guys with me today to see if we can find our way to work ah because I have to take some buses some trams I have to walk some so let's see if I remember from yesterday so this is I'm wearing a sweater and jeans and some foods and a jacket because it did say it was raining later I brought my umbrella in my purse so we should be good to go let me grab a water I have not eaten breakfast so I also hope that leaving at this time allows to just grab something real quick okay all right so my battery is at 40% so I really hope this allows for that okay yeah okay Wow okay super cute this is my apartment these are the mailboxes I can't wait until my name is right there oh is it already raining no it's not alright okay it is most definitely nippy out here it is cold so this is my apartment building please don't stalk me not that I'm not cool anyways I really hope I make it in time I usually have this like tripod stick that I use or that I've been using for vlogging but I'm still a little shy about this whole vlogging thing so walking around with this big old stick you know I'm not ready for all that so sorry that be able suck I'm just getting used to it wow this is peaceful and you know what it's honestly not that cold so I feel like I didn't even need to wear this jacket it's not cold at all yeah I looked at the weather today oh wait I can see my breath maybe but I looked at the weather today it said 47 degrees that's in Fahrenheit yeah that was the lowest that was gonna be that's what it is right now but it's not bad so I suck so I only have 40% left on my battery so yeah I'm gonna have to cut off at certain places but y'all will get the picture I just want to show you guys the main point how pretty this is it is so pretty I love it I love it I love it okay let's try not to get hit by a car so yeah yesterday I almost got hit by one of those train things because I was not paying attention there was like so many trains coming at you from like all different directions as you could see up there and I just was not paying attention so today I am definitely watching my back making sure these like tracks and stuff making sure nobody hits me so I haven't completely figured out this tram system but I know how to get on to one of them and that one does actually take me right by my work so that's the one that we're going to try to catch so right now we're walking through the downtown Basel area yesterday this is like full of people but it's obviously way too early but everyone is already starting to set up so I know on my way home tons of people are gonna be out here and it's just mainly like some restaurants and shops tons of restaurants bars etc and it's so funny yesterday when my bosses take me to work he was like so this is where you can go drink and stuff so it was pretty cool make sure that me already get drunk at I spy with my little eye you guys do you see what I see let me see if this zoom oh the zoom is not the zoom okay I thought the zoom was that serious but it's okay y'all will see you don't even know how excited I just got with Beckett y'all don't even know but you're about to know do y'all see it do you see the Little Mermaid no go back yo what it is what is that yup yup y'all know I'm a Starbucks ho okay please be open please be open pretty please let's see if it's open yes yes it's open yay I'm about to drop like $20 on some coffee I don't know if I want breakfast here though Christie caramel macchiato Paul do you have almond milk you know can I get it iced please oh yes thank you so the next issue seven francs seven so that is probably about eight or nine dollars for this caller all macchiato so I'm not gonna be doing that again that's just today oh look definitely feel like I'm gonna be sending my best friend Tiffany one of those she's also Starbucks whole um English yeah mainly yes I just say it it looks very good I have to try this stuff you haven't tried it I know I knew our almond milk but I haven't tried it fair enough oh it's so good yes it's good you have to try it okay I am happy with my life now so up ahead is like the main oh there's a clear clears so up ahead is like the main train way station I forgot what it's called I'm gonna get better at this but it's where all the connections are so this from here I know how to get on the train which takes me to work it's actually right there what is this okay barbuso Blatz so what it's called as a bar who serve lots is what this is called um so this is the one that takes me to work number three is how I get there but before I get on this train also in Switzerland look at how awesome it has like a clock right there it tells you how long you have until the next train so one is gonna come in three minutes the other and eleven so I'm gonna try to find food and then take the one in eleven minutes because I think I still have time okay I'm gonna shut you off because I have to get serious and find food in 11 minutes all right a little grocery store and I got some breakfast I'm not really good with sweets for super hard they have a lot of which means like baked goods so they had like little tarts they had like a lot of like doughnut type stuff that aren't what that's not doughnut sweet like that so good with that so I got and I got gonna be here for Matt I'm so excited because I think I'm actually gonna be on work to work on time on my first day yes eight o'clock I stuff there even s to get there and I think this train only took like 15 minutes so I think it's done this way but I just saw one of these fountains so in Switzerland they have these fountains everywhere and it has really clean and drinking water I could actually clean enough to drink so you just fill up your water bottle here there are any of these and they're always so pretty and beautiful beautifully sculpture so I just wanted to show you guys that I forgot my water bottle but now I know that on my way to work making Philip might want to call here so I'm pretty sure it's this way huh I really hope it is let's see what time it is I think I'm still making pretty good time Oh 813 and they can't really see it it's 813 I have 15 minutes to get there and I think I'll make it if if I remember the right way I am so far proud of myself I even was able to get breakfast like what that's awesome but I just feel like that's how it's gonna be every day I'm gonna look learn a little bit more so now if I don't have breakfast at home I already know of like a few places right by the train stop where I can grab something before heading over to work but yeah this is beautiful so yeah before we were in downtown Basel this is now like the its build downtown but it's more residential so it's quieter and there's apartments houses and stuff and that's where the school is so it's really nice it's so peaceful I wish you guys could smell the air it's very very nice oh my gosh yes it definitely is cold I don't know if you could see my brother or not but I was trying to breathe out you so yeah I just got here and people are already staring at me crazy that's just like a Swiss thing whenever I want you're on vacation very typical most people like to stare I think that's why some people think that they're racist but I don't think we're racist like that girl home girl literally liked dogged me out so yeah if I was America if I was in America I would have tried to fight her just kidding but just so you have an idea of how deep their glares are oh here okay guys I'm almost starting to worry that this isn't the right way almost because it no longer looks familiar I don't remember walking this far so I'm gonna look up the directions I can find it oh crap why is my phone on airplane mode guys it's so weird okay now my phone is actually on well that's wrong it says I have one hour and coming from minute drive hold on guys I spoke entirely way too soon I was yes I was completely on the right track I am like two minutes away so I'm so proud of myself now and made it for all of myself I didn't even use directions I just used my memory from yesterday so we're gonna cross the street right here so there's two campuses here this is the first one I'm not going here today I'm going to the other one and I'm getting a little nervous so I'm going to show off the camera now but thank you for coming to work with me today
