[Music] [Music] what is up everybody welcome to another video here on muddy beards 4x4 if you're not subscribed to our channel go ahead and take the time click the subscribe button like our videos check out some of the other stuff that we got here lots of cool videos check out our website muddy beards for our 4.com goodbye some sweet merchandise like this shirt and has got links and discount codes for some of our sponsors so this video is a little bit different than any video I've done before I've never done a tool video you know what I'm really tired of using my cutoff wheel but I had some my cutoff wheel and just slinging metal all over my garage all over my workout stuff all over my Jeep all over you know the fridge all over everything and this was a way to try and get away from the mess it's quieter I'm not breathing in all this metal dust even though I do wear a mask and a shield and all that stuff still get that in your nose and you go and take a shower later you got those black boogers for sure so this was my way of hopefully trying to get straighter cuts and make a little bit less of a mess I could just vacuum up the metal right below it so today we're gonna put together swag off-road version three Porter Band table and hook it up to my Harbor Freight Porter band and we're going to cut some stuff this kit is a hundred and twenty nine dollars twenty thirty bucks and if you want it powder-coated and the stands inked it'll cost you another twenty bucks so I paid $150 for this and you might be saying why didn't you just make it yourself I know I couldn't make it myself I mostly just don't have time and I kind of like buying nice things sometimes so and the stand here is pretty nice it's the zinc plated so it's not going to rust not gonna have any problems with it and it looks pretty good too looks pretty sweet there are two two stands here and then this is powder-coated black looks pretty nice and then and here we have a removable plate which is a feature on this version three that I really like is that this is removable so this will go on here this way so go on here like this and it just tightens in from the bottom to lock it down and so if you want to just use the porter band by itself you can just unscrew it and it totally comes off and you can just use this as your guide it's kind of big way bulkier than you know the small guide that's on it right now but it's way easier than unbolting it and having to rebuilt the old guide back on you can just really quick about five seconds pop it off and use it as a portable bandsaw as its intended so let's take a look in here you can get it with a foot switch and a miter gauge on it but that's more money than I kind of wanted to spend at this point so I'll just go with comes with Velcro to turn the trigger on so it says you can use the velcro strap or a clamp to turn the trigger on and it actually comes with the velcro which is pretty sweet and of course you're still going [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] they'll do is drop it in here and attach it from the bottom with this [Music] angle like that it's pretty sweet guys that's what's cool about this is literally in three or four seconds it's off and I can take it somewhere else and I have this nice big guy down here and I can just cut some pipe over in my vise over there or wherever I need to go and then just pop it right back in here literally in seconds where'd he go hope you're not timing me there we go boom well that is it guys total cost of this is 100 bucks for the Porter bandsaw 150 for the table and it was 15 bucks for the blade it didn't come with a blade so I had to buy that 15 bucks so this whole setup is 265 bucks super excited to try it out on my new build that I'm doing here good start trying to work on that tomorrow and a rear long arm if you guys learn anything from these videos or you like it make sure you give us a thumbs up subscribe to our Channel I'm gonna leave a link in the description of this swag off-road portal band table also a link to our Amazon shop which I got my tools that I'm using up on there and a link to our website so make sure you check all that stuff out and help support us so we can grow this channel and help get better content for you guys and as always we'll see you on the trail
