S&W .500 MAGNUM RECORD 5 shots in 1 SECOND in high speed with Jerry Miculek

hi I'm Jerry Mitchell Ike and what we're going to do we head not to the range I've got my four inch Smith & Wesson 500 Magnum and I've got one of these 300 grand SST 500 magnum ammunition so what we're going to do is run out to the range and run rapid-fire five rounds on target with the horn of the ammo we will capture it on high speed so give you an idea of what the power factor is the stated velocity of this ammunition is 2075 feet a second with a 300 grain bullet so if you do a conversion of a power factor to a handgun enthusiast as a 625,000 power factor so anyway it ought to be fun we're gonna put sit we're going to put five rounds on target as fast as we can pull the trigger well the stock revolver we're gonna go ahead and load up five do a rapid fire on that torque what it looks like all right holdups encouragement on the partner here we go I got to change away okay guys that grip technique I was using I'm going to change it and didn't work right it hit by the hammer first came back to give me a hand so I'm gonna change it up a little bit and try again we might get five rounds on target that's what I want right there guys 500 Magnum you you okay god I'm pretty exciting we got all five on target relatively quick total times at 2:18 first shot was 104 so that's actually a one-point 1407 second but five 500 Smith and Wesson Magnum going target that's about as good as it's going to get guys that's about a horsepower 662 power factor okay total on-time target was a one point fourteen hundreds of a second so we ran about a 2,800 2,900 splits per shot guys that's a ton of horsepower on target a short period of time that's about all the fun I wanted one time that was enough shooting to last me quite a time but give you an idea what it looked like on high speed you can see the shock wave coming back through my hand you can you can see they have a reciprocating in the frame before it after every shot it's pretty interesting how brutal the whole experience was there's a lot of fun I would like to invite you guys to subscribe to Mitchell comm also like me on Facebook you'll find a link in the description box below also keep us posted only comments you got any input would you like to see what you don't like to see please keep us posted thank you very much

Well... If you do look at the high speed replay you can see that there is some delay with trigger action and bullet firing... So BF4 ain't completely wrong with the trigger delay.

That said, gameplaywise the trigger delay is pretty stupid making the revolvers inferior choice to pretty much any other sidearm since you still most likely have to hit your target at least twice.
