was up YouTube Oz today we're going to see if the superglue bacon trick will do hard plastic oh it will bond to that so let's do er okay I got two pieces of hard plastic whatever you call it over we're going to uh clean this up rough it up you know this is very important on any of this just getting this roughed up good if you don't want stick for sure plastic any of that stuff so look we're just gonna rough the heck out of it back a little ways obviously get the inside now I'm gonna do one side and see what it does you can do both sides you know when you get done turn it over and do it again I would assume to you know bond get the more straight to it but we're gonna see what one side does first okay for this particular app I'm gonna put the glue on there and then put a baking soda on after oops dang it this doesn't dry instantly anyway so you're pretty safe with that make sure you keep her where you need it to be you know you've seen how it kind of shifts around a little bit there here goes the wasteful part holy buckets okay that's why by three and a half pound bags just do holy crap that I waste that huh I mean I'll pick it up and tip it back in the bag seeing they're out of it I use just a piece of a plain ol Emery cloth they use this in plumbing for sanding the copper before you solder it this is very good durable sandpaper stuff but you could use a regular sandpaper if it's hard surface like this probably a fine file if you don't have anything like that a fingernail clipper has one of those things that pulls out that's rough do you know take off the rough edges and nail something like that would even work so let's blow though well here let me dump the excess oh it fell back on my bag there it is let's blow it off there you go nice seemed kind of cold out in my garage day two but that's uh it's hot in there and she's solid that's only one side then take too much in a broke let me try doing both sides I took a little bit of pressure you know probably it depends on what your we're gonna be doing this for all right it's a hell my superglue frickin seal shut I always put your lid on so your tip don't get hard on you yeah waste some more here here we go and we'll let this harden up for just a second and then we'll try out roughing up I should've roughed up the other side first I guess but that's okay okay that's done again yeah it's pretty much super go on this side now I don't think I'll be able to ruffle it up too much cutting out kind of soak through another trick you can do is if you can only do one side put some masking tape on the other side then turn it back over so the glue won't soak through and you can pull the masking tape off after but I guess this way you get to the super goats over here too you get too rough up so that'll probably help putting on your material how thick it is what it is all that stuff you could use a dremel to maybe okay let's put the superglue on I said something about 20 degrees out here today so I'm you know I think my tip is getting plugged up whoo Eric came out they mean to do that but I guess the hole was plugged so there we got an overabundance of super-good which is okay no big deal a little extra glue on there a little extra okay so I'm not a sculptor but I'm getting it on there that's the important thing well drink coffee for good luck maybe sets only I could see my breath down here it's about dirty her solo brave I'm freezin for in Minnesota ramree now this is really nice but a lot of people this is cold okay all right now that's done with both look at the superglue I put on there oh my god you know which superglue is cheap you know if you sanded that back like you know however far you want a nice I'd do that I would imagine that it's gonna give you more stability you've seen the first one took some pressure the second one she's holding everything else is breaking but that spot so I would say do both sides on harder thicker plastic could be thicker than s2 or thinner this is pretty stout stuff but there you seen it I've really put a lot on that side this side it kind of just made the little weld thing but maybe it might be better to I sanded way back I probably should have put just a little more supergroup because this really filled the spot like I said super glue get this at the dollar store for a buck for two tubes it's not expensive a bag like this would last you a lifetime you know on the shop or whatever so there you go it bonds really well duh this kind of plastic so there you go that one was a success it bonds to that kind of plastic really well and holds good everything else broke before it so that's good there's one more thing that super goo sticks to Bob's loans over some flowers I'm out
