up it's just you know life's just heavy right and i found out that you are in control of the story you tell yourself about what you're going through so i could wake up today and i could say man life's just hard or i could wake up today and i could just say lord lord lord you've surely been good to me the world's gone crazy there's a pandemic but lord lord lord well you've surely been good to me my family's healthy everybody's breathing everybody's alive i got food on my table i got clothes on my back oh lord lord you've surely been good to me [Music] see you have done what this whole world could not do i dare you to just sing it it'll make you feel better when the lord you surely been good to me yes lord lord you've surely been good to me oh lord lord you've surely been good to me and here where two or three are gathered in his name he said he would be in the miss and i believe he's here today to do it come on anybody believe that this morning hallelujah we're going to pray and offer our prayers up to the lord today we're going to believe that god's going to touch the needs and i want our elders to come this morning if you will please those that can and will all of our elders i want you to come stand along with the front of the altar and if you have a prayer request or a prayer need today and just to redeem the time you just wave your hand say god knows but i need prayer today over my need my situation my circumstance and so today if your hand is lifted come join us from the altar and let's believe it right now as we just simply worship him and praise him today this morning on your precious holy word lord knowing today that in faith and agreeing together lord by your wonderful holy spirit god that you're going to touch every need lord every prayer that's been prayed in this altar god i believe today right now in the name of jesus that the effects of fervent prayer of a righteous man truly availeth much so god now let us come before your throne lord today we're not asking out of our wants god but we're asking out of our needs and your scripture said that you would supply all of our needs according to your riches in glory and so god today it's a desperate need a need for a revival a need for conviction a need today god for the holy ghost to come to the heart of man who is lost god i pray in the name of jesus that you save him lord that you deliver man set them free today every sin that humanity is faced with i pray right now in the name of jesus every bondage would be broken god that you would set every captive free today and holy spirit of god i pray that every sick body be well god it is not your will today that we remain sick but it is your will today that all be healed for by your stripes we are healed today and we declare healing healing over every virus healing over every flu healing over every cancer cell every diabetes every heart issue i pray in the name of jesus that the healing virtue would flow right now into their body and that they would find the abundant life that you so ever give god right now it is your will let it be done and for it we're going to praise you we're going to glorify you we're going to magnify you we're going to lift up our hands unto you oh holy god for what almighty god we do serve today let the angels bow before you let heaven and earth rejoice today for you as our god jesus is our god and we worship you today and ask all of these things in the name of jesus and the church said amen and the church said hallelujah and the church said praise the lord and the church said thank you jesus come on give him a handclap of praise today he's worthy to be praised come on you can do better than that let's praise him praise and praise and praise and praise him hallelujah hallelujah six o'clock we'll begin our evening service i'll be ministering tonight and i want you to be here if any way possible i want you to be here the lord's impressed upon me about this evening's service and what i'm to minister and so i'm going to be following that leadership of the holy spirit so of any way possible be here tonight at six o'clock women that care will meet tomorrow at 12 noon and who's speaking tomorrow now okay judy is speaking tomorrow so tomorrow that'll be at 12 noon for all you women that care intercessory prayer be wednesday at 12 and then wednesday night at 7 p.m now let me tell you something if you haven't been here on wednesday [Music] you are missing out i mean that you're missing out now i don't know what they're doing over in the chapel i know what they better be doing but i think i know what they're doing and uh they're doing what we're doing and we're here worshiping and our wednesday night bible studies and teachings have turned into holy ghost church we have a church ain't we brother david i mean the lord's been moving the last two wednesday nights i've not been able to minister because the holy ghost minister people in these altars let me also say this let me also say this [Music] i know the fair is in town [Music] but you've got five other days to go to the fair wednesday's not one of them you'll be here wednesday at seven o'clock if any way possible and join us and if i see you're at the fair and i'm here you're going to get on that ferris wheel and it's going to break down when you're on the very top huh she said you better stop don't say that i'm just telling you the holy ghost is going to put them right up there and they're going to pray to god while they're up there that's in church on wednesday oh me no that's probably not gonna happen i was waiting to see if anybody's listening this morning probably not gonna happen no i'm kidding but i do want you to be here wednesday night if any way possible let me also uh encourage you on this not only on your wednesday night if you can be here but let me encourage you to be here on sunday morning 9 30 for our lifeline connection classes uh i know that it's easy especially on days like today when it's dreary and rainy out it's a whole lot easier to lay in bed a little longer and not make that effort but i promise you your connection in lifeline connection classes is vital and important for your entire family especially for our kids and our students these last several months that we've been dealing with the pandemic that we've been in many of them thankfully now so much more is open and they're able to do so much more but the connection that man has lost during these last several months of social distancing and i know somebody said the other day they said i can't believe pastor josh that y'all don't social distance in your church i really can't believe y'all don't you know you you you're having people come down the altar and you're not social distance down there in prayer time i said honey if jesus was here he'd lay hands on the leopard they said you don't think jesus would social distance i said jesus would walk into the covet unit lay hands upon them pray the prayer of faith and they'd get up walking and being healed in the name of jesus that's what would happen so i yeah i'm going to take my smartness and common sense and i'm going to do my measurements and i'm not going to let that get in my way of my worship and my praise and my giving unto the lord jesus christ amen and so i want you to get into the classes you need that fellowship as much as you need the teaching amen so that's what lifeline connection's all about so if you haven't been attending why don't you come and try there's classes for all ages if you have been attending but you haven't lately come on back and get into these classes and you'll be glad that you did can you say amen two weeks from today will be homecoming we're looking forward to that one service only 10 o'clock you find that in your bulletin i'll make more announcements about that next week but go ahead and keep that in mind and please don't miss out it's time today to wait upon you as we give unto the lord our tithes and our offerings and we honor the lord today in our giving someone said the other day they said pastor josh i'm doing my best and my giving but i just can't seem to give it all let me stop and say this to you you cannot afford not to pay your tithes today you cannot afford not to give in your offering today you don't have to give what belongs to him if you don't want to but i promise you this the lord will get it one way or the other and today i choose to give what belongs unto the lord and i know that if i shall do that he shall supply all of my needs according to his riches in glory by christ jesus would you stand with me please today let's hold up our tithes and offering declare and decree together our tithe and offering declaration this is my tithes and offerings it will do what god said we gladly give to you what is yours because i am a tither and giver i am believing the lord for the windows of heaven to open with jobs and better jobs raises and bonuses benefits interests and incomes checks in the mail gifts and surprises debts paid off and expenses decrease bless my offering in jesus name amen and amen march around cheerfully and to ptc kids church anoint mr madam miss amanda as they teach may the children be attentive and also for our babies in the nursery we praise you for them in jesus name amen and amen you may be seated today in the house of the lord thank you singers thank you musicians now open your bible as you take your copy of god's word with me to the book of luke the gospel according to luke luke was the physician i was reading this week some of luke's writings and in my mind i wondered what would luke the physician do in 2021 what would jesus do in 20 21. i heard something the other day it's kind of humorous yet it's truth what was the most washed body part in 20 21 and 20 20. most of you would say your hands truth is it's the brain somebody said i wouldn't say that if i was you that's why you ain't me a lot of things i wonder even things that i look back over even these last 19 20 months now i wondered the other day as i was reading and thinking of this possibly i don't know possibly maybe i would have done things a little bit different months ago one thing i know is that i can't live on what was then or what used to be but i'm living in the now i'm living in the present and my bible says on the book of hebrews that jesus christ does the same yesterday today and forevermore in luke chapter number 8 and verse 43 the bible says there is a woman who has an issue of blood 12 years she had spent all of her living upon physicians neither could be healed of any she came behind him and touched the border of his garment and immediately everybody say immediately her issue of blood stashed it dried up and jesus said who touched me and when all denied peter and they that were with him said master the multitude throng thee and press thee and sayest thou who touched me peter speaks a little sarcastic and jesus said somebody hath touched me hallelujah somebody hath touched me for i perceive that virtue is gone out of me here's what jesus was really saying i felt the healing power i felt i feel it now the healing power and when the woman saw that she was not hid she came trembling and falling down before him she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him and how she was healed there's that word again immediately and he said unto her daughter be of good comfort thy faith hath made thee whole go in peace now when a minister this morning on of this subject chained changed and claimed chained changed and claimed if the holy ghost allowed me i'll minister right there for a few moments heavily father i ask you now to anoint the message help me as your messenger to declare and deliver this word father today i pray now that the holy ghost may he take charge may i only be the vessel speak through me in jesus name amen amen can you imagine in this room today and i know some of you in this room have dealt with some sickness can you imagine having a physical illness or disease or issue in your life and that disease or sickness you've had to deal with most of your life maybe for 12 years maybe for 20 years can you imagine that the sickness that you have there is no earthly cure for it you've been to every doctor you've been to every physician and yet there is no one that can help you no one that can get you well may i say to you today ladies and gentlemen that there are people today that are battling a spiritual sickness now this story this morning is a literal message within itself upon the natural or physical healing but today i want us to put on our spiritual glasses and i want us to get into the spirit world for a few moments and i want us to look today at this in the spirit when we look at this today we know that there was a earthly sickness in this woman's body for 12 long years but yet today i find so many that are suffering from a spiritual sickness that spiritual sickness has caused them much pain that that that spiritual sickness today that and we can apply both of these stories to all of our lives but this spiritual that i wanted us to look at today as we think about it maybe there even someone has come upon your mind or maybe it is with even in yourself today that you begin to think there are people today who are chained who are bound by the sickness of sin i want us to look number today at point number one and that is chained everybody say chain first of all we know that this woman was chained to her sickness 12 long years according to leviticus chapter 15 and verse 9 that she was ceremonially unclean today the bible says you heard the story as i read it she spent all that she had on doctors she had no more money they could not offer her any hope the doctors didn't help her furthermore the doctors couldn't help her and we find that the only thing the doctor seemed to have done was make her situation worse first of all let me say to you today how does not belittling any doctor any physician any nurse today we thank god for them we thank god for the place that god has put them the wisdom and the knowledge that they helped to take care of man somebody say man but this morning may we understand for certain that our faith is not placed in a physician it is not placed in a doctor it's not placed in a nurse it's not placed in medicine today it's not placed in science today it's not placed in a shot today i'm preaching to you ain't amen and today our faith is placed in the lord jesus christ and jesus christ alone this lady here that was chained with this sickness though is a perfect example of the spiritual lost humanity this disease that is running rapid today we call covered 19 but there is a greater disease that is running rapid in this world today called sin i want to tell you ladies and gentlemen this morning that sin is so horrible today that there is no physical remedy that can cleanse or remove sin from our lives whatever others try to prescribe will not affect the change but i found it will only make things worse seeing today is literally like a chain i think about these chandeliers today these five hanging in the ceiling and i realized this morning that you don't have to break every link in order for that chandelier to fall all it takes is one little link to bring and the whole chandelier comes down if you're with me say amen so it is with sin this morning if you get into one little sin everything falls apart and now you're in many sins man does and has been born with a sin nature that is the result today of the fall of man a man is born with his nature to disobey god and his holy word that's the reason today that governmental and scientific and educational and environmental programs today cannot change the situation that man deals with when it comes to sin today it's not the problem of government it's not the problem of science it's not the problem of education it's not the problem of our environment today it's the problem of man's evil corrupt wicked ungodly vile wretched block and sinful heart of this morning and every person that has been saved or even the man or the woman today who is unsaved has been a prisoner at some point in time and bound by the disease chained to sin today i'm glad to report to you praise god my sins are gone they're underneath the blood of the cross of calvary i'm no longer chained to sin but i've been set free today anybody been set free today [Applause] even though this woman's chains could be seen by the physical eye even though we know today that this covet 19 can be seen by the physical eye i understand this morning that sin cannot be seen for it is in the heart of man now the sins that you commit can be seen that's a product of the blackened heart somebody say that she's bound she's chained can i just preach in here this morning and be honest with you sadly the church of today the modern church here we go pastor josh has made a mockery out of god's holy word how do you say so because today the modern day church has adopted the ways of the world i take it a step further they've adopted the ways of the world to try to get man to come forth and to be chained and delivered from the chains that bind him they go to doctors and counselors and some has to see judges and lawyers and we have to talk to them and we have to try to get through with them let me tell you something in here now i appreciate and i thank god for rehabilitation i believe in that program as well but rehabilitation will not fix the heart of man you can go and be in rehab and you can stay for six months and 12 months and two years if you so desire but unless there is a change of heart i'm going to preach in here without your amens today let me also make it clear that god doesn't send man into rehabilitation to change him man comes to the foot of the cross and is covered by the blood of jesus christ why because man's issue is deeper than the mere surface of what you can see the root of the problem is the heart of man today hallelujah hallelujah so let's look quickly at this heart issue let's look quickly today and i know some sometimes again i said we we don't really per se see sin but we see the product of sin when you see someone who's battling alcohol or you see someone who's battling drugs or someone who is battling perversion or jealousy or envy or fear or lying or cheating or immorality or sickness or disease there are some people who are bound by religion but all of that comes back the man's alcohol problem the man's drug addiction the man's perversion the man's homosexuality lifestyle it all comes back to the spirit of man the heart of man it's a heart problem come on tell your neighbor it's a heart problem listen before you can act right before you can talk right before you can walk right before you can live right before you can do right there's got to be a change in your heart somebody help me preach in here i said there's got to be a change in your heart and in your life man cannot teach you that it's only to the holy ghost of god when you accept him and invite him to live within your heart hallelujah hallelujah that's why the very nature of sin must be changed that comes by and through the blood of jesus and what jesus did at calvary's cross i believe the bible teaches a man by the name of nicodemus john chapter 3 and verse 3. i was reading it this week he said you must be borned again somebody shout back at me born again can i preach to you today and tell you that one man is born again that's when man begins to change that's when jesus begins to break the chains of sin and now listen it's easy today for me to preach this and for the outside world to be sitting there scratching their minds going i don't really understand but i gotta be honest with you i have trouble this morning understand why the church of the living god today cannot see the truth and cannot see the word and cannot come to realize today this is why i've been preaching this is why i've been teaching we must have the preaching of the gospel of jesus christ we can't keep preaching out a man's million bestseller book it's got to be done through the word of almighty god we've got to sing about the cross we got to preach about the cross we got to sing about the blood we got to preach about the blood we've got to procrastinate that jesus christ is not a way he is the way the truth and the life today because sin is so powerful let me say it again sin is so powerful that it takes jesus through the holy ghost to break those chains i've been preaching on the holy ghost well i was preaching on the holy ghost and the holy ghost said why don't you just let me show up and do my own preaching [Applause] and i said okay sounds like a winner to me hey every wednesday night and this is when i found out that this holy ghost this spirit of god that i've been preaching on see and this is this is this is the jest of it right here the church doesn't want the holy ghost because the church knows they don't accept the truth they don't live by the truth of it but they still deep down know that it's the holy ghost that does the changing it's the holy ghost that does the convicted listen listen again i'm not trying to to belittle any other denominations that's why you see so many today they'll get so far as the holy ghost and even our pentecostal churches today will get as far as the holy ghost and then they come to a stop because the holy ghost changes everything it'll not only change the way you walk it'll not only change the way you talk it'll not only change the way you live it'll change the way you look somebody help me preach in this house today not only will it change the way you look it'll change the music you listen to it'll change the way you eat your food it'll change the way that you drive your car it'll change the way how you get up in the morning it'll change the way you go to bed at night when the holy ghost comes in he'll change you and when he changes you you'll never be the same again they don't want the holy ghost they say the holy ghost is too old fashion and those that do want the holy ghost now want to change him to a contemporary holy ghost i got news for my from my old school friends he is a contemporary holy ghost and i got news from my contemporary friends he's an old-fashioned holy ghost huh the same holy ghost in the old church is the same holy ghost in the new church and the same holy ghost in the new church come on and help me preach is the same holy ghost in the old church he's not an old-fashioned holy ghost he's not a contemporary holy ghost he is the holy ghost and the spirit of the holy ghost had raised jesus from the dead is the same spirit that dwells in you today and that has raised up jesus from the dead will also raise you in your mortal bodies by his spirit and he may live and dwell in your heart and in your life so that tells me that sin is so powerful that it takes the same power of jesus christ the same power that raised are you with me the same power the same spirit that raised jesus from the dead sin is so powerful that the same spirit that raised jesus from the dead must be the same spirit that frees us from the chains and has us bound by sin sin has man so bound today that he must have a deliverer do you know the first part oh god i gotta hurry have deliverance today is the chains are not to fall off your situations they're to fall off of you all right i see some of you let me let me break that down if you're a note taker write it down let me say it again the change when deliverance comes and then the chains that bind you the change does not first all fall off your situations or your circumstances or your problems they gotta first fall off of you in other words before you can be delivered out of something you've got to be delivered in it acts i don't have time to preach at all if you'll come back next sunday i'll preach it but acts chapter number 12. the bible says that peter was in prison the angel of the lord came upon him shone the light in the prison cell the bible says that the angel came to peter told him he said to get up get your clothes on we're getting out of here wait a minute when the power of the holy spirit came into that prison cell it didn't first break down the wall it first broke the chains on him it changed him before it changed the situation thus i'm preaching that the cirque in other words peter had to get delivered in it before he could get delivered out of it [Applause] if the chains hadn't been broken in the jail then when he got out of the jail he would have still been bound my god somebody hear me i believe today we need the holy ghost of god to free us and what we need him to do is to free us first before he frees us from our situation and our circumstances i mean come on let's be real in here today we want the lord to fix everybody and everything and every situation around us we want him to fix our husband we wanted to fix our wife we wanted to fix our children we wanted to fix our job we wanted to fix our church we wanted to fix our car we wanted to fix this we want him to fix that but today we never ask the lord to fix us first and i preach in here and tell you the lord wants to fix you before he can fix anything else and if god don't fix you in it you'll be the same person wherever you go and whatever you do and whatever circumstance you come around freedom and deliverance has nothing to do with the place or thing it has to do with the individual and the person today [Applause] in other words if you're bound in one place you'll be bound in another place i'm i'm talking to you tell your neighbor he's talking to you if you are bound to one thing you'll be bound to another thing well pastor josh you i'm getting out of here i'm done with this i'm i'm going to get my u-haul trailer and i'm going to load up and i'm i'm moving to california if you're bound at ptc in savannah tennessee you'll be bound in california [Applause] come on somebody well i've had all i can take of this lazy husband of mine i've had all i can take of this wife of my nagging all the time i'm getting my u-haul and i'm going to new york city i got news for you you'll be just as bound in new york city as you are in savannah tennessee this morning the problem is not the wife problem is not the husband i'm preaching in here i'm preaching in here problem is you today i'm sick of this job i'm gonna blow this joint and get out of here i'm walking out these people make me mad these people don't ever do nothing right and you're sitting over there at your little desk and first thing you do when you walk in is i wonder what they gonna say about me today i wonder what to think about what i'm wearing today you get all up in your fields see you let somebody keep you bound i'm preaching now well i know what they're thinking about me i know what they're saying about me behind my back i know what they're doing when i'm not around the problem is at your job the problem isn't the people you're working with the problem is you let me just remind you something today there's always i'm preaching in here today i'm preaching in here today i'm preaching in here today must be the new outfit i'm wearing makes me preach good i don't know there's always going to be people on the sidelines ladies and gentlemen waiting on you to fall there's always going to be people on the sidelines laughing at you and mocking you they're let me let me just go and preach there's always people waiting on the sidelines seeing if you're really going to hold up to this christianity they're just waiting to see if you're going backslide they're just waiting to see you if that marriage you've made a commitment to is gonna hold up they're just waiting to see because you know and they know their kids went off and live like tail and done drugs and alcohol and living in those lifestyles and you know in your mind they're just sitting there while you're trying to raise your kids and in your little mind you're thinking they're just wondering is my kids gonna stay clean as my kids gonna do right is my kids gonna live the way they're supposed to live can i preach and hear somebody say man i know there's people on the sidelines today ladies and gentlemen they're just waiting to see if you're really gonna hang in at ptc or if you can't take the heat and defile the holy ghost i'm preaching would you help me amen i'm just waiting to see when everything's falling on your shoulders the weight of the world's coming down and it's raining it's just not sprinkling now i mean the holy ghost of god has seemed to open up the heavens and he's dumping out the tons of struggles and trials and tribulations and experiences that you're having to deal with they're waiting to see are you going to keep your faith in god or you're gonna have a nervous breakdown i got you for some of you in this room today you need to quit worrying about what everybody else expects of your life you need to quit worrying about what everybody says about you what they think about you and you need to remember what god knows about you this morning you're not living for man you're living for the lord today [Applause] yes so what do i do pastor josh how do i get the freedom out of the bondages and hold me back you get in your word you get in your prayer closet you keep your eyes on jesus get your eyes off a man and you press on it because the bible says that god is preparing a table before you even in the presence of your very enemies you one day will be able to look at them square in the eye and say look what the lord has done it ain't me but it's god today hey i've been trying to tell you may i remind you again have no weapon formed against you is going to prosper in the name of jesus press on today i was bound but now i'm free that was a good place to shout you missed it i was bound but now i'm free [Applause] i've been delivered i've been delivered from sin delivered from sickness i've even been delivered from others let the chains fall somebody declare my chains are gone my chains are gone my chains are gone my chains of god my chains are gone today my chains are gone today i said my chains are gone today my chains are gone in the name of jesus let me say one thing quickly preachers preach jesus that's what's going to bring deliverance to man preach the holy ghost preach the blood we don't need to hear cheers rising for you we need to hear chains falling from your congregation let the chains fall let the chains fall let the chains fall now here's what's going to happen when the chains begin to fall i don't know whether wipe my sweat with my time if the chains are gone then you'll be changed everybody say changed what's the story some way somehow we don't know really not clear in the word of god but we happen to believe bible scholars believe that someway somehow this woman with the issue of blood and we also believe her name was veronica veronica somewhere somehow we believe heard about this jesus we know that she didn't live where jesus was at this moment in this particular town so we have to believe that she heard about this jesus she heard of his miracles she heard of his healings and she says i'm going to jesus right here's your golden nugget a made up mind i'm going to jesus this could possibly be the very last time that jesus ever passes through this town this is as close as i may ever get to him i'm getting to jesus now let me preach when you get sick and tired of being sick and tired you'll do whatever it takes to say enough is enough i think some of you done quoted that a time or two in your walk with god enough is enough when you've held onto that sin long enough until you fully get tired of hanging on to it you'll do whatever you got to do to say i want freedom i want deliverance i want to be set free you'll fight for it you'll push your way through you'll do whatever you got to do when you finally say i'm sick and tired of being sick and tired enough is enough this woman said i'm sick and tired of being sick and tired enough is enough come on church she said i'm gonna fight my way through the crowd i may be pushed down i need me knocked down but i'm getting to jesus i've got a made up mind i said i got a maid of mine she said if i could just get to the him of his garment if i could just touch the border of his garment i know that i know that i know that what does she say when she says i know she says by faith i'm going to receive my faith it's mine i'm going in faith today she knew in faith that jesus was the healer so she fought through the crowd out to the touch of the master's garment and at the moment she touched the border of his garment the holy ghost of god who the healing virtue produced a healing in her body may i preach to you this morning that faith will always find a way to get to jesus but you gotta have a maid of mine to keep your faith in him until you get to him this woman says i've got my faith in him i know she already had it set in her heart he was the one he is the great physician he's going to be able to bring me my healing she came and pressed from behind she had no doubt she was getting to jesus somebody said well don't you think that when she saw the great big crowd in her mind she probably thought i'll never get to him oh no she had faith i don't care how large the crowd is if you're sick and tired of being sick and tired you're going to get to jesus let me say something to you this morning faith always gets to jesus faith to be saved gets to jesus faith to be delivered gets to jesus faith to be baptized in the holy ghost will get to jesus faith for victory over sin will get to jesus but today may you understand this it is faith in jesus that gets you to jesus her only answer now at this time was jesus oh god how the church how the church today has failed you forgive us oh god forgive us o god that we make jesus our last resort when he should have been first in priority i'm preaching in urani amen and now she touched jesus in faith and the bible says if you read it the bible says he turned and said who touched me ladies and gentlemen today that means literally having faith in jesus means you can feel the faith as it begins to come forward what is faith hebrews 11 and 1 how faith is the substance of things hoped for that the evidence of things not seen hebrews 11 and 6 says without faith it is impossible to please god how he knows you got to have faith for your situation and faith in jesus is the only thing that's going to turn your situation around i don't care how much tithe you pay i don't care how faithful you are to church i don't care how much work you do around the church yard and i tell you it'll never get you to jesus the way your faith will get you to jesus today faith in him will change every situation just like this woman with the issue of blood she was changed somebody shall change her situation was changed immediately man we're waiting in the sweep by and by to get our touch we've been singing by y'all and sweet by and by until we fell over dead in the church pew come on and help me because we've been waiting on god to move god's been moving you ain't been moving you ain't pressing through [Music] you ain't getting keeping the faith well pastor josh i you know i've done all they told me to do i've tried to follow the commands you know what your problem is you've been trying to follow the earthly remedy instead of the heavenly remedy me just a moment i'm trying to preach but i'm about to have a holy ghost pentecostal spell there is a remedy there is a remedy there is a remedy there is a remedy for seeing there's a remedy for sickness there's a remedy for bound there's a remedy for deliverance today the very moment as she touched the hem of his garment she was changed the very moment that a man or a woman comes to jesus christ in faith and believes and reaches and touches him they will be changed however this change does not occur from the outside in it's from the inside out come on now get those spiritual glasses back on and hear me it's got to change in your heart well i've been to every counselor i've been to all the council meetings i've been to all the aaa meetings i've took every medicine the doctor's prescribed i've had my godly mother and my godly mother mother and father lay hands on me i've had the preacher put anointing all over my head i've fasted i've prayed i've been to church every week you've done all of those things you've sought god in all those ways when jesus just simply wanted you to say i believe i believe i believe the world today has tried to turn to all of the sources of the earthly remedies even the modern day church today this generation of church today has done the very same we've walked down the aisle so many times of wore out the carpet we've shut the preacher's hands so much we know what it feels like when our eyes are closed come on help me preach in here we've signed so many church membership cards we've been in every denomination man we've been baptized in every baptistery we know every tadpole's name listen listen listen listen listen we went down an old dry center and because we didn't believe we came up a wet center i'm telling you today a baptism a church membership car walking down the aisle shaking a preacher's hair it's not going to change you only faith in the miracle working power of god can change you and your situation [Applause] well like that i know people don't like change see we we we want to be delivered we don't want to be changed [Music] so that's the reason that people have a hard time getting saved they're afraid they're going to have to change and in their mind this is what man thinks when he thinks about being saved he thinks he's got to live a perfect life he's got to meet a requirement that they know they'll never meet they've got to do all of these holy things they got to give up all of these things would you just give me a few more minutes let me tell you something when the woman touched jesus jesus knew it he turned to the crowd of people and he said who touched me who was it you know what the bible says she was afraid she was scared she wanted to be delivered she didn't realize about this change the number one reason we find people today when they come down to an altar and they accept jesus christ and they say we want to be saved but yet they leave and then we don't see them is because when they leave the holy ghost of god begins to work in them and says you got to change and they go now wait a minute now wait a minute she was afraid now again you gotta look in the natural light this she was afraid because she was unclean and she knew she was gonna have to tell this man i'm unclean you know why people a lot of people won't even dock the door of the church you know why they won't even come in they're unclean they're lost and they know when they come in and the holy ghost of god begins to come and the music starts and the preaching begins and the holy ghost moves that the holy ghost is going to say you got to get out and make a change now her fear was actually a normal fear let me explain that to you most of us would've probably been afraid of this jesus too when he turned around and said who touched me most of us would have probably been afraid because just like this woman nobody likes to tell all of their secrets nobody wants to tell of all of their uncleanness so it was a normal fear if you will but she said my god what i got to lose i'm gonna die anyway and the bible says she didn't hold nothing back she looked to him and she said lord it was me i did it i touched you i'm unclean i'm sick i just heard about you i heard if i could get to you that you could heal my body and you could touch me i knew if i could just get down to here she knew she was unclean because of her sickness she knew she was unclean but she touched the mast tab and he touched her and when she touched the master and when the healing virtue flowed she was no longer clean clean but she became cleansed pure somebody on a in here you're going to have to give up some things you're going to have to make some changes but when you realize that you have been forgiven and cleansed and set free and changed you're going to be glad for the change that the holy ghost has given somebody give the lord a handcuff of praise singers and musicians come she's chained will you give that one more one more time to me please emma she's chained she's changed and now she's claimed now watch this watch this don't watch them watch watch this something happen something happened she's been chained unclean now she's been changed changed [Music] by the holy ghost of god [Music] the bible says in verse 43 this woman everybody say woman had an issue of blood matter of fact even in verse 47 give me give that verse 47 to me that this woman saw she was no longer hid [Music] woman everybody say woman this woman veronica chained changed [Music] woman but something happened [Music] she could no longer hide jesus was there now holy ghost was there now she had to confess see if you get close enough to jesus [Music] you won't be able to say no now you may walk away and you may say huh i'm not having anything do that he's going to keep knocking you may walk in here today and you may even walk out of here today without jesus christ being lord of your life you may not even have the born again experienced today but he ain't leaving [Music] he's going to keep knocking a remarkable [Music] transpiring event woman [Music] unclean bound she's not only afraid to tell him that she's unclean she's afraid he's going to scold her reprimand her point his finger and say what are you doing [Music] why did you touch me that's not what jesus does [Music] he turned to her he said daughter she no longer a woman daughter she's scared she's afraid scolded reprimanded [Music] jesus says daughter he looks at her and says [Music] won't you come join the greatest family [Music] [Music] she's unclean remember she's i'm preaching she's unclean anybody that's unclean ceremonially unclean they have to stay away they're not welcomed the leopards are not welcome [Music] forgive me we've shoved people into a hospital room with covet and say you're not welcome with your family [Music] jesus walks in [Music] calls them by name daughter let me tell you somebody in this room somebody watching [Music] no family member that feels all alone in that hospital room is not alone today the sweet holy ghost of god [Music] is in the midst today [Applause] stand to your feet this daughter this woman becomes a daughter she's got a new status her story begins as just a woman [Music] but it ends being a part of a family [Music] she went from being chained to changed to claimed claimed i like how brother swaggart says it brother john yesterday that lady that woman was a devil's nobody [Music] but today this daughter is a heaven somebody she's a daughter she's a daughter [Applause] next time the devil comes and brings up your past you remind the devil i was once chained to sin but i've been changed by the blood of jesus and i've been claimed into the royal family of god i'm an heir enjoying her with christ jesus today i call him father he calls me son i know him the best of all he knows me today somebody ought to give him a praise you're his son you're his daughter you're a part of the family of god heads about an eyes are closed no one looking he said daughter be of good cheer don't be afraid don't be scared anymore be of comfort don't even worry about those that are around you don't worry about the judgment don't worry about the pointed fingers don't even worry today if you feel unfit if you feel unclean [Music] there's a beautiful picture here today of redemption and peter said in acts 10 and 34 that god is no respecter of persons i said in the beginning of this sermon he's the same yesterday today and forevermore and what he did for her he'll do for you you know what he told her don't be afraid for thy faith [Music] faith you simply saying lord i believe hath made [Music] you believed you believed [Music] go in peace [Music] some of you today have been struggling to find that inner peace peace that passeth all understanding somebody's been struggling with it at home and work school the issue is that you can't find peace in your heart there's never going to be peace at work and peace at home and peace in your marriage and peace at school peace in the grocery store until you find peace in your own heart [Music] god still extends his grace and his mercy maybe you're here today chained maybe you're even here today and you the holy ghost of god just spoke this for somebody in this room into my spirit maybe you're here today and you've even been changed but maybe even right now you even feel [Music] you're not even being claimed by him maybe you fell all alone can i tell you today that the same peace that was given to you that saved you is the same peace of god that is to go with you and sometimes you just ain't gonna feel it [Music] but i ain't living by what i feel pardon my grammar i'm living by what i know [Music] what i know today is i once was lost but now i'm found i once was blind but now i see what i know today is that i came in one day as a sinner but i came to jesus and he cleansed me and forgave me he changed my life i know that today and even when i don't feel it i know i'm here you're still his today [Music] god hasn't forgotten you he hasn't forsaken you he's not mad at you you just got to get through this life [Music] hold to your faith was amazing amazing grace how sweet the sound [Music] that saved rich like me i once was lost but now i'm found was blind but now i see twas grace that taught my heart to fear and grace my fears really how precious eat that grace the uh here it is i feel what you do believe how through many many days your stores and snares i have already his grace that brought me save the star and his grace will lead me only singing disrespectful i can't see one person in here that would do that what i can see in this room today is a body of believers who love jesus and because they love jesus they want to love like jesus and their arms would be open to you today if you're still chained you can be changed if you're unclean today you can be cleansed your heart needs pure fine today you can find purity in christ [Music] god can restore you got to come to him press through get to jesus you say well i don't i don't see him no but don't you feel him [Music] don't you feel him he's in here right now he's in here right now i feel him i sense him he's here right now [Music] maybe you're here today you've never been claimed oh i want to tell you something i love to claim people to ptc i like it when they wear their badge proud and say i'm a part of ptc makes a pastor feel good but that won't get you to heaven we can wear our ptc shirts ptc hats ptc socks but that won't claim you eternity [Music] shaking my hands shining a church membership card it won't save you but you can be claimed as a son or a daughter of god there's nothing greater than being a son or a daughter of god nothing higher today that's higher than the the greatest call the greatest title that's higher than saying i'm the president of the united states it's higher i'm a child of the king maybe today you've already been changed and claimed maybe today you're struggling with that flesh or the enemy whatever go sing it again i want you to sing that verse the lord has promised as we sing today i believe the holy ghost will be right here i believe he'll meet you here and i believe that what he promised he is faithful to keep singing the lord [Music] he's promised it you're his son you're his daughter my heart come on secure come on afternoon of lunch and god let us come back tonight to receive what you'd have for us in jesus name
