SULEJA DAM - BREATHTAKING - NIGERIA

hey good morning everyone welcome back to the channel uh this morning i'm presently at uh what's it called uh public service commission i think along cuba expressway i came here because a friend of mine we spoke on the phone i think a day or so ago and he told me they were going up going on an adventure to a place in niger state so i got interested and i felt okay why not go along and then show you guys what the place looks like i'm gonna talk about the place but anyway that's what we're gonna do i'm waiting for them right now if they get here i'll start the vlog showing you the things we find along the way as we're going and i hope you guys enjoyed this video all right we live there now we're on our way we have some people in the car in front of us and we're just driving behind well i'll keep showing the things that i find interesting on the way as we're going to the place really i don't think i've really introduced this video properly we're actually going to jadam i know in this city everybody knows of the usman dam that is the biggest dam everybody knows that is in the city of abuja but this one when a friend of mine told me the guy that's taking us they told me about the damn i was interested because i felt okay this is different why not go and show you guys what the place looks like i don't know whether it's fine it's whatever whatever it is i'm just going to show you guys okay all right on our way when we checked the google map he told us we have like 37 minutes to get to the site but uh you know that's google map you never know what traffic is going to be on the way um so we just arrived at uh zuba now we'll be heading towards uh the zuma rock i'll show you guys in a few minutes this is very popular for people who are traveling to up north who are going to kaduna kano and all those places they they if they don't want to get to the park where they they're supposed to pay maybe more than okay what what the dudes are coming here actually cause that the cost of traveling for a lot of people so they come here and they get it cheaper going to their destinations guys that is zuma rocking from there let me try to zoom in let's see at zuma rock massive you can see some people are building inside of the hill in front there let me see if i can zoom into it for you guys to see hold on yeah you can see the buildings there that's the cross site i think those days when i was in the university i used to see a lot of activity on that truck but now uh coming here today the place the activity has stopped and they uh before they started building houses close to the the place there wow makes me wonder why people are driving in this direction like that maybe for you coming from somewhere you have to pass this route okay okay is it here okay all right guys okay we just made of the main road leading to kaduna uh we've gotten to the point where we need to take to get to where the dam is but i don't really know how far it is from here but i'm sure by the time we get there i'll be able to tell you how far the place is from the place we've heard of they're not supposed to have structures near power lines like this but because they never the government level supposed to allow people have houses close to this massive power structure uh well but if you if you find that now you see that it's not that the government gave approval for these places but people just you know decide to start building and directly on that that's that's crazy you can see on this side a lot of there's no houses close to the park but on my left hand before we got here you see that people build a bed on this side the place is left blank or empty [Music] [Music] wow look at that view that's crazy this the view here is amazing i i know there is no way i'm able to convey this in this uh area oh look at the dam in front crazy ah wow let me show it on the map on your phone whoa it is massive it's bigger than um it was madame [Music] [Music] [Music] okay we've arrived at the dam they wanted to find a place there's a picture that uh my colleague has so we want to find exactly where we can go to get similar shots so that's what we're doing now so they just flew drawn up so that they can use that to survey then we know which direction we're gonna go i can hear waterfalls somewhere in front so we're just gonna see if we can find that place this is way crazy let's all right go go let me see from here whoa that's super crazy guys that's chile wow look at how beautiful this is just nice this is nice guys this is ali he's a landscape photographer and it's cool to have you guys all here i think we should go there i'm just trying to figure out a place where i can [Applause] so guys ah i know this video is like all over the place the reason be that i'm trying to figure out the best place to show the waterfall and the dam and so i went that way a couple of minutes ago and i got a uh a view that wasn't too cool so i'm gonna go back up so let's go walk to where the other guys are and show what you can find from there here we go you can see the guys who came with everyone is there so let me go this way from what i can see this dam is way bigger than us madam and uh it is way more beautiful because in us man down you can't get this view there's no view like this let me show you guys let me show you well can you guys see this is mad unbelievably mad so the sound of the waterfall is awesome hey guys we are the um waterfall no waterfall the dam they just has a section you guys can see behind me the thing about this for me is this um there are so many beautiful places i've been to in this city or in this country and nobody tries to sell them nobody tries to sell the idea that you can come here i mean just look at this empty spot you can also look let me show you behind me you can see you can drive here with your car because we drove and we parked just a few meters away from here you can come here with maybe your family or your friends just come and chill have a picnic it's either the sound of this place is awesome i i cannot begin to explain how beautiful this country is i know somebody said i always keep talking about all the positive part of this country yes that's all i have to say if there's anything negative about this country i don't want to know i know we all know what of the negativity but is our worship concentrating on we should be talking about the good parts with the the things that are interesting if you check out i've been to broward um waterfall i've been to fernando kershi look i've been so many waterfalls and i've been to parks i've seen what we this country can offer when it comes to tourism and it is not being utilized and it's totally totally painful and it's sad anyway we came here today uh like i said just to show you guys what the place is and what this place can be the potential of what this place is if you guys live around the city or you live in the city please just take some time out you can google it you'll find it on google map pinpoint it come here and even if you can't find it buzz me make a comment down below in the comment section ask me and i'll tell you how to get here it is awesome all i can do right now is just sit down and listen to this oh my god this sound that is coming from behind me it's just beautiful let me get closer so that i can hear this sound some more you know i've been wondering why is it that uh the government can do something about these things i i i can see a lot of potential i see look i can see so much here do you know that all they need to do is to clear the pathway to this place properly one then build some stalls or something that people can come you know if you get here you're gonna be drinks they're going to be placed to sit under shades and all that maybe there will be people who will be hiring people mats i know that if you don't come with yours and they just like the way they do in millennium park the place will be a beautiful place for people to come and spend some time i know i know i know somebody will tell me hey the country is not it's this or that some places are not safe yes it's everywhere in the world some some places are not safe everywhere in the world but people still live people still live i don't know it's just an awesome feeling coming to this place and every time i visit a place like this i'm always wild i'm always uh wanting to see more i'm always wanting to see government do more about the place anyway guys i hope you enjoyed this video um it is a crazy one because it is not my usual uh drive through show you the city or estates but this is something i'm also passionate about showing the beautiful part of this country that is what my video is all about my youtube the thing i don't do right now is how long has this place been in existence i truly don't have an idea i truly don't have an idea but i think he's been here for a long time what i'm probably going to do is that i'm going to find out how long this dam has been constructed and what or which community does this supply with water and all that so that i can tell you but in spite of all the fact that this is what the the dam is meant for the other thing that interests me also is the fact that you can come here like i said before and i've keep saying it over and over is to come here and have a good time it is important because uh the truth be told nigerians who always always always go outside this country we go to spaces like this and we start screaming yo yeah the place is beautiful but we have them here and we don't even bother coming to check them out well i hope my video will be helping some people or convince some people that the country is not what everybody seems to think it is it is more beautiful is more calming is more than the the newspaper of uh the pages of the newspaper tells us okay somebody's landing the drone it's a school man i just love coming out like this you know it's just an awesome feeling okay so um there are a lot of places in abuja that we are yet to explore and not just abuja i think um around we have we have places like kaju castle in kaduna sumadam in abuja we have um are you sure to use cosmetic food you get there quite a number of places and this is actually the first time i'm seeing this kind of dam in any way not even just nigeria alone but it's fantastic we have new places that we actually need to explore and we need to actually showcase more of these because people just feel any time a child is taking oh this can be nigeria so um we still have a long way to go but this is just the starting point i think we can actually take it better and higher from this is so guys that was where we came from that's where the uh we did the law of uh shoot i talked about where you could go and chill to spend time with the family if you want to you see getting there the road is actually paved and got to a point where the pavement stopped and it will just go it's it's cool let me see if i can get close to the water and show you some place let me go here okay this seems to be like the lighthouse i would say of the of the body of water here uh when we're coming we saw it first but we didn't want to stop here because we had a their mind because we actually saw some pictures someone took off the place we eventually went to so we passed here then we went there to show you guys what beauty that lies in uh surly jadam let me show you somewhere there you can see some i thought i saw a boat or something but i'm not sure again okay you know what does this guy look like okay [Applause] so we're almost done now we uh did a lot of videos to show you guys how beautiful this place is like i showed before that is the way we came so that's where we did most of the videos there's where we showed you guys what the place really looks like you know so the thing is this um like one of the guys i interviewed said there are beautiful places in this city a lot of times we don't know where they are and even if we do we allow people from other countries to come and take pictures of these places and be showing us so this time okay the drone is directly above my head right now so this time we're actually going and taking the pictures and doing the videos ourselves to show you guys the beauty that is called nigeria you guys can see the drone
