if you're looking for an amazing animal support that's affordable and can blast your enemies with lots of damage over time look no further sucrose is caster venti and much friendlier to your wallet today we're going to be looking into albedo's assistant sucrose and discussing her kit dps optimization how to build her and what characters she performs well with my name is braxophone and this is the ultimate sucrose play guide [Music] to start here's some really basic information about sucrose she has a small character model so she doesn't jump as far or sprint as fast as tall models like gina d luke on ascension she gets an increase to animal damage which makes that her special stat typically she's used as a support for an elemental main dps carry that's not a geo or animal user first things first let's go ahead and get into her talents her first talent is her basic attack this attack is a 4 chain with a charged attack option the hit damage on this is fairly low but gets much stronger as you ascend sucrose because she gets her animal damage bonus which will scale with the basic attacks better than standard attack on other characters ascensions one thing worth noting here is that her recovery after completing a combo is incredibly quick compared to other characters which means that you don't have to worry about any animation cancelling at all you'll see this in the dps optimization section and if you want to see what her best combo is you can go ahead and skip to the timestamp of the description her second ability is her e which is called a stable animal hypostasis creation 6308 this ability functions similarly to venti's e but it does slightly less damage it creates a small aoe that'll hit enemies for animal and swirl damage this ability has a pretty long cooldown of 15 seconds sucrose's third ability or her q is called forbidden creation isomer 75 type 2. this ability conjures an animal hypostasis that works as a slightly less aggressive venti ult so it pulls enemies into the center and if it comes in contact with any elements that can be swirled like hydro pyro cryo or electro it outputs damage of that type in addition to animal if you continue to swirl enemies in it the damage output turns insane and it's amazing crowd control the only downside to this ability is that its cooldown is 20 seconds by default passive ability number one is called catalyst conversion whenever sucrose triggers a swirl everyone in the party with a matching element will gain about 50 elemental mastery for eight seconds passive number two is called malus favonius and it makes it so that whenever a sucrose ability hits an opponent the rest of the party's elemental mastery increases by 20 of sucroses this in itself is enough reason to build sucrose elemental mastery but we'll talk about that in a little bit and because she is alberto's assistant her third passive gives her a 10 chance to get double alchemy crests a quick note about her kit both passive one and passive two can be triggered by one of sucrose's abilities so by triggering this and switching to another character you can get some insane reactions for example if you have d luke on the field and swirl a pyro element with a sucrose ability you can switch to chongyun use his e to make it so your basic attacks turn to ice then switch back to d-luke use an ice move and then use his elemental burst if you happen to be using the thrilling tales of dragon slayers and 4-piece veridescent fenerer you'll get 50 elemental mastery plus 20 of the elemental mastery that sucrose has with the 60 pyro resistance down and the buff coming from thrilling tales in addition to melt proc which doubles damage and it's absolutely disgusting as far as leveling up talents the items needed to level them up are teachings of freedom whopper flower nectar and eventually spirit locket of boreas now that we've gone over her talents we can talk about our constellations and why they are crazy good sucrose's constellation 1 is called clustered vacuum field this ability makes it so sucrose gets a second e charge they have separate cooldowns and it's absurdly strong i mean that c1 sucrose is miles better than c0 sucrose because you can alternate these charges and it's basically turning your cooldown from 15 seconds into seven seconds luckily for us she is a four star and we can anticipate that she will be returning really soon as a featured character and in the meantime i would just save your stardust because she might come by in the shop some time as well constellation 2 is called beth unbound form sucrose's q ability gets extended by two seconds two seconds seems pretty small but in reality two more seconds of crowd control is amazing and this constellation is super helpful constellation 3 increases the e ability by 3 levels constellation 4 makes it so that on every 7 normal and charged attacks the cooldown of sucrose's e gets lowered by a number between 1 and 7 seconds if you combine this with c1 and sacrificial fragments the book you can have a cooldown reset extremely fast constellation 5 increases q level by 3 and finally constellation 6 called chaotic entropy makes it so that if you use sucrose's cube ability and it absorbs an element it gives your party an 8 second 20 elemental damage buff i know a lot of us like to talk about how broken 5 stars get with some constellations but i do think that she might have one of the strongest constellation sets in the game sucrose is probably the only character in the game where every single constellation matters so much the one thing to note about her though is that even though all these constellations make her broken she's still incredibly strong at c0 so don't feel discouraged from building her if you don't have constellations she is still very good now that we've looked at her kit we can dig into her basic attack rotation we tested one two three four one two three charged one two charged one charged and just charged attack spam and all of these had different dps numbers so let's talk about them for all of these tests we used the same artifacts the same weapon and didn't alter any of the numbers except for crits crit hits were removed for consistency and each combo was performed twice and timed up until recovery for our first one we did our one two three four combo and that yielded us a total damage of 2112 damage over 3.88 seconds which gave us a total of 544.3 dps our next combo was the 123 intercharged attack combo and that yielded us a total damage of 3126 over a total of 4.2 seconds which gave us a total dps of 744.3 for this combo the third combination we tried was 1-2 into charged attack and that got us 25-86 damage over 3.6 seconds which yielded us a total of 718.3 dps the first attack into charged attack gave us 2116 damage over 3.2 seconds and that gave us a total dps of 661.3 and finally charged attack spam two charge attacks back to back and timed very closely together gave us a total dps of 597.9 again as mentioned earlier in the guide you don't use any animation cancels on our attacks because they're all super quick and you want to use your enq situationally when you can rock swirl you don't want to use your e and q off cooldown with no swirl the lucky winner here is going to be one two three charged attack with a dps of 744.3 for this test in particular do keep in mind that this isn't the maximum dps that she can do or anything this is literally just testing combos against each other we're not trying to max hit right now this is also super nice though because then her charged attack has a little bit of time between if you don't need to spam her charged attack like with some other casters you do have time to make sure that your stamina doesn't just burn out immediately so now that you know how to use sucrose's basic attack the best possible way we can talk about sets and artifacts and stats and just how to build sucrose the best way a lot of people advocate for exile and instructor sets for energy recharge and elemental mastery but i really think those aren't that great unless you're in the early game the reason i say this is mostly because those can only cap out at 4 stars but the other reason is that 4-piece verdes inventor is kind of an indirect elemental mastery buff by lowering enemies resistance to certain swirl elements by 60 to put it simply your options are to take a loss in stats with something like exile and instructor which only has four star variants or you can try to maximize things like energy recharge in your sub stats the set you'll want to use on support is four piece variant veneer so you get a 15 animal damage bonus and the 60 resistance debuff from swirl that allows your carry to do so much more damage alternatively you can use two-piece gladiator if you're trying to buffer normal attack animal damage and make her a dps but i'd like her better as a caster support and i think that her entire kit is kind of built around that a lot of people are unsure between building elemental mastery and attack percent on artifacts for sucrose so we're going to break it down a little bit on screen you'll see me using two sets of artifacts while maintaining varidescent veneer one set is going to give us a ton of elemental mastery and the other one will buffer attack percent the element we'll use from swirl is electro from oz official set won't be changing and please don't judge me on the set because i never made the effort to change it after moving around my other stuff and we're not showcasing officials so just ignore this set it's not gonna change you'll see that with the attack percent set she's doing more damage with animo and with the elemental mastery set she's doing more damage with swirl and the swirl is scaling slightly more than the attack percent even though our attack percent artifacts are higher leveled with better stats including some stubstat elemental mastery our elemental mastery artifacts are able to keep up and if you look at it from a statistics standpoint we went down from about 1k attack to 700ish and our elemental mastery went up from 200 to 400 with 300 attack down and 200 elemental mastery up we were able to pull similar numbers which leads us to the conclusion that elemental mastery with sucrose is extremely viable and if you look at her passive talents that increase elemental mastery i would argue that support em sucrose is the best option for her in conclusion for sets though you'll want 4p sphere doesn't fener for sure when you're able to farm for it if you decide to go with support built for sucrose don't build no blast for her because her elemental burst isn't meant to put out insane animal damage it's meant to swirl a bunch of damage no bless is better saved for a different support to reiterate though if you want to build full dps sucrose instead of support you can use 2viridescent and 2 gladiator or if you're using a good support for her like shinshu or official you can build two wanderers troop for the bonus on elemental mastery the sub stats you want to aim for are elemental mastery crit rate crit damage attack percent energy recharge and flat attack the important thing to remember is that swirl damage can't crit but animal damage can so if you don't get crit on your artifacts but you get something like attack percent attack and energy recharge that piece is still going to be pretty solid now that we've talked about artifacts for a little bit we can talk about weapons for support sucrose you want to run anything with elemental mastery or energy recharge if you have another animal in the party don't bother with energy recharge because you'll get enough of that passively if you don't have another animal though you might want to prioritize fivoni's codex if you're not able to get her q as often as you want if you don't have fivonius codex or if you want to build elemental mastery prioritize sacrificial fragments for the cooldown reset over mapamere which is better than woodsith which is better than the three star magic guide for elemental mastery or you can go with the other worldly story 3 star if you're free to play since that one can be found in chests if you have c1 sucrose sacrificial fragments is a must-have ideally you just want to go with whatever best fits your build so if you're going to build a dps heavy build lost fur to the sacred winds is good for crit rate which is better than skyward atlas better than wood sith which is better than eye of perception which is better than solar pearl and twin nephrite since sucrose is the trigger character with elemental combos it's important that she's the one with elemental mastery honestly i don't care for full attack and animo builds sucrose focusing on being a tps but she can play the role fairly well since her ascension increases animal damage and if you find that you don't use her all that often you can give her thrilling tales of dragon slayers to buff the next dps in line since it gives a really hefty attack bonus that should be all you need to know about weapons but if you have any questions make sure to leave a comment below now we can move on to team composition and characters that synergize well with sucrose as sucrose functions like fenty you'll want to run the pokeball while you have your main dps out and bring her out to cc everyone into a small space to fully utilize sucrose you'll want to use her with characters that can leave elements on the field for that reason diona is a great healer character to use the sucrose because her q does aoe damage over time and is ice aspected and if you get heard at constellation 6 she'll increase your team's elemental mastery by up to 200 which is insane for zukros fischel is amazing as well because she can leave oz out on the field to constantly use his electro damage ticks so combining that with sucrose will yield positive results beto q also works incredibly well with sucrose since you're constantly procking electro damage whenever you cast a normal attack so you'll constantly be doing swirl zhinchu can be absolutely disgusting with sucrose since hydro damage will take over time with his q as well xiangling is awesome with sucrose as well and her e ability will take pyro onto enemies that can be swirled while her q gives her an aura pyro that keeps sucrose safe while she's doing swirly things ultimately any character who can proc an element quickly will synergize with sucrose's q ability so as long as you use it and switch into the new character it should be extremely effective and with that you should know everything you need to know to get started with sucrose i feel like this guide is important because there's not a ton out there on sucrose but it's also important to recognize that she may be coming back pretty soon considering that in 1.2 albetta will be featured my best guess is that we're going to see sucrose there as well and she will show up on the banner as a featured character and if not it's sure to be your time to come around soon so make sure that you're saving up your stardust and primo gems if you do want to get a hold of some constellations for this amazing character anyways that's about it for this video these take a really long time to make and so if you liked the video i would really
