SUB-DPS DOESN'T EXIST | COMMUNITY NON-SENSE | WUTHERING WAVES

hey y'all I want to do a quick video about this um I'm seeing on the internet where some people are arguing with character classifications and they're saying that sub DPS support DPS categories don't work in withering ways and I'm I'm on the firm belief that in all games categories work and they're used to help people make better decisions these are not meant to be egotistical conversations where people want to pretend that they're smarter than everybody else and holier than now this is a very simple concept that some characters are based in these categories and that developers are developing games and trying to balance games with some type of Baseline installed and it's my firm belief that as a simplification that these categories exist for a reason and should be yes not say adhere to because withering wave is a skill-based game so you can ignore these categories but these categories are in play they do have a purpose and they are here to help us make better decisions moving forward so what I want to go over is characters are DPS characters characters are sub DPS characters and characters that are supports now we all know that withering wave is shaping up to be a game that is time gated which means for any of the characters to be of any use to you they have to have some type of fi time some need more than others and some benefits of them being on field are greater than others so let's go over to what I consider a DPS and what I consider a sub DPS and a support because fundamentally they are all playing some type of DPS role however some are more suited to one of these categories so let's take Paul churro for an example he has no benefits off field absolutely none even switching out he just does damage he comes off somebody else comes on he gives no benefits and right now that is what I'm considering as a purely DPS character they do one thing and that is unfield damage so who else would I consider another DPS character that only does one thing and that's on field damage that's the Rovers people can argue with me they can say oh but he freezes time or she freezes time when they come off and all stuff that outside of like maybe making one or two characters combos a little bit easier to pull off if they're not on the field they're not doing anything trixia be another one say that if she's not on the field there is no benefit for her on your team to be honest with you Encore Encore is arguable because when she comes off the field she does leave a dot but that is just damage she's not and as for six seconds while she's off field she's not really doing anything so that one can be argued but I'm I'm I'mma put her up there that this is a good position put her she's purely DPS Gan Gian is purely DPS we're going to put him up there we got his name Ling boy he he's purely DPS he doesn't really have any benefit off field okay so supports are going to be extremely easy so let's get that out the way cuz it's going to be Vina everybody's been talking about it online everybody's been talking about in the videos how she can apply so much benefit you know within seconds of being on the field and then she gets off supports to me are characters that yes they can do damage yes they have the ability that add some type of utility but the main thing that they're used for is that utility it's not the damage the main thing they're used for is the utility whether it's crowd control or buffing debuffing that's a support to me and Vina is the biggest support there is and by Z and they're going to be a really big just plain duh moment is those who are supports danin I would put inside DPS as well all right she's everybody talks about it she's a crazy fourstar unit I I personally think that a lot of people are going to get baited into using her and building her and going to realize really quickly that if you do not have the skill to wield her that you're going to have a hard time in Life or not in life in the game so which leaves pretty much a lot of people in the sub DPS category gangin loces resonation skills he puts a shield on he heals but she's not pure support she's not pure DPS sub DPS yinglin yland is I don't know what's with the community but they are caping for her they're sing for her and to say anything ill about her you know is you might as well crucify yourself I don't understand it it doesn't make sense to me but she is a sub DPS it doesn't matter that she can put out damage greater than all the DPS is on top the sheer fact that she also can add great amount of value off field is why she is a sub DPS sub DPS are DPSS with supportive abilities our man right here Alto everybody on alto everybody's talking crap about Alto and Alto is one of those first DPS characters he comes on the field he skills he runs through his little Vortex he shoots those little Mist bullets he charge attacks and maybe you might have attack some more so you can get the Forte you switch into a different character it's it's not hard he's kind of brain dead but I think that would be fun to have him on the team plus he also boost his Arrow damage so he's great with Gian and or Gian Jin mortify mortify has been talking about all the time cuz he has such an amazing kit his damage boost is just amazing cuz a lot of characters can use it a lot of the de DS characters are heavy attackers even some of the support DPS or the sub DPS like yangyang right yangyang uses her heavy attack often Yuan wo Yuan Wu sub DPS whether he's on field or off field he can provide some type of damage value some type of utility with his skill hqu she puts those Shields up he boost his resonator skill damage he heals a little bit he has a lot of support mechanics and she still does a ton of damage maybe some comparable to some of the lowend five stars she still does amazing amount of damage but she would be sub DPS and s s is definitely sub DPS she's more first attack she can be an onfield main DPS she has the tools for it I think she would be most beneficial in a dual DPS team where she does play the sub DPS and she comes in she does her combo and she switches back out who that main DPS is I don't know cuz everybody's talking sideways about lingyang everybody's talking sideways about Y in conclusion DPS are characters that only provide value when they're on field sub DPS are characters that provide value whether they're on field or off field and supports are characters that their main focus is not damag is some else they have a greater utility all right I hope that cleared it up for you guys I hope that maybe even if it's just for you cuz people on the internet's going to do what people on the Internet is going to do maybe if it's just for you this topic has been put to bed all right
