Japanese Vending Machines - Beer, Ice Cream and Snails?

hey friends so today I'm going to be showing guys around my city of Tokyo we're gonna be doing something completely different we're going to be trying to survive just on vending machines so let's go okay so first thing we're going to do is to get something to drink because it is morning and I need my cup of milk teeth [Music] [Music] Naoko law immunity which means rich tasting royal milk tea one of my favorite new tea brands my guilty in the morning I don't drink coffee cheers guys ah oh yeah it's so good milky creamy yum yum yum yum yum [Music] now it's a super hot day today here in Tokyo and I'm about to hop on the train to go to Shibuya I need to buy a drink at the vending machine before hop on the train oh by the way if you didn't know yes drinking and eating is allowed on trains here in Japan [Music] Oh Oh [Music] you ha [Music] okay so we are in Shibuya Shibuya is famous for that crazy scramble crossing where everybody walks all at one time in all different directions anyway that's not what we're here for you can actually buy Romeo or Japanese souvenirs here is to BIA so I want to go check that out [Music] I think I'm going to get one of these magnets see do I want munagi or that no I don't like that in real life so I think I'm against the bronze for the tuna or the egg I don't know it takes 600 yen for my little souvenir and I got the egg sushi magnet look at the it's so cute Paul I have to say it is a little pricey for something like this I mean you can get this in the ones you can store five I guess you're gonna have time this will do pretty cool so these days vending machines are going high-tech this one is a digital vending machine check it out never try this before yeah there's no juice coming out there's no juice shake it I see interesting I thought I was getting a drink I'm getting a piece dessert Oh I got my selfies this citrus gelatin dessert mmm finally finally it's turning kind of liquidy jelly ish it's delicious Moishe : mmm recommended recommended drink probably only available in the summertime delicious I see another really interesting vending machine here this is a the taste of Toyama what is this this money machine is crazy this is a vending machine that sells stuff from the toy in my region what kermy is instant curry socks sushi socks a bath towel what's that Pororo combo what is that is that ramen STI ramen installment 607 yeah well it's kind of as pricey and that is shrimp and squid curry for 540 n Wow interesting so I'm here in Kissimmee gazecki station only two stops away from Tokyo and the reason why I'm here is because I'm here to look for some food and I have found some food so well it's simply a vending machine that sells snacks but there are about three bread here three types of bread there's Belgian waffles cookies energy drinks chocolate and chips and I think I'm gonna get myself this cheese tart as well as the chocolate Danish bread and here is the other vending machine I found vegetables and fruits and they sell apples this is the vending machine that sells fresh apples and the top here is just fresh cut apples from Almaty and these are the same thing but without the peel this is apples with a caramel sauce this one comes with honey interesting I'm here at Gd apart very easily in one of my my favorite parks in Tokyo the first part I did when I move back to Tokyo because I live near this place but for lunch day I got this a chocolate danish and also got some fresh apples with caramel sauce and i got some cheese tarts and these are all from the vending machine this is made by Como's bakery since 1984 I've never heard of this bakery ever and this is what it looks like it's very fluffy I was expecting it to be a bit more dry but it's actually very moist and oh look at that the layers of chocolate really really lovely mmm not bad very fluffy bread it's a boy this is bread with a hint of chocolate flavor but its moist it's not dry at all whatsoever I really like it as you can see see it's not dry at all and if I eat it sure nothing amount not that at all I heard this vending machine that sells bananas as well I couldn't find that one so I have to settle with this Apple instead and this one comes with a caramel sauce where's my sauce oh it's on the bottom oh okay so on the bottom is my caramel sauce I'm gonna pour on a caramel sauce Wow because that looks amazing okay I'm ready to begin oh wow look at that mmm this is beautiful hmm very crispy apples juicy sweet the Meccano sauce has a cinnamon which I all look at that look how beautiful that look oh yeah I have my cheese tart from the country mmm baby pig shop by Fujiya and they use the cream cheese from Hokkaido so there are actually two individual package here under the open one actually quite long and that'll look like my Kitano cheese tart MA I wonder if it's crispy or moist no yeah moist as a soft cookie now this tastes better than it actually looks it's sweet has a hint of cheese a really nice int of cheese muroids not dry it off thank you the cheesecake it can't be like cheesecake in a cookie room and surprise we had a nice semi satisfactory meal from the vending machine it was really nice because I got to eat it at Parc one of my favorite parts to be a park but from now but for now we're going to go to here Doug showed to have a beer and after that we're going to go to Akihabara so I'm headed out of the park and I just remembered something last year about a year ago last summer some fish and I we made a video we came here to take a video and it was our summer in the city video and so if you haven't seen that one check that one out because I think that was one of our first travel videos you've ever done and it actually took us two days to film that although it looks you can actually buy beer and alcohol other than your cheek I got here super dry they also got sanitary all free this is a non-alcoholic beer cheers cheers Cheers this is my favorite no this is my second favorite non-alcoholic beer you're probably wondering what's the point of drinking non-alcoholic beer the point is I like the taste of beer I don't like the feeling of getting drunk so oh yeah that's good that's good stuff let's get so if you want alcohol you want it from a vending machine this is the place to go how so check out all of vending machines here in Akihabara I mean just one of a few rows of vending machine and here we are at this vending machine selling of all things oh then which is a Japanese stew and this is what they sell here oh what's this they're also selling some fruit flavor in gourmet soda but we are here for the Audion and this one is with beef this one is with medium which is a good ground meat thing which is like yeah it's hot and how do you eat this I mean they sell it the vending machine but there's no chopsticks or anything there like that daikon I see I see chikuwa oh I can get the cognac out that is the cognac ooh which is a devil tongue I guess I'll eat this or she like 7-eleven again well I just say 7-eleven is better but this is not bad like vending machine no Dan daikon that's a comma Boko then put up but I can't find my meat and I have chiku I hear it's so hot it is so hot all right office I'll eat that's go up you're looking for that again one two I think it's not bad but this is not something you would want to eat on a hot summer day like today [Music] [Music] I'm thinking of getting this Belgian chocolate this is a special selection and so that looks good that's a hundred yen so it's a little more oh wait a minute this one is even more maybe I should get Nana now get this up I'll get this one I'm gonna get this for my friend here it is that's the Kiwi that's a hundred sixty ends and here it is here's my 79 Special Collections strawberry ice cream step one and that's the ice-cream and step two oh very nice and here's my ice cream and it comes with a waffle cone when was the last time I has progress we have no idea delicious this is the Kiwi sherbert and it is a limited edition I believe it's only for the summer right I see this one doesn't have a call it's just the ice cream so this is the highlight of the whole day I've never been here before this is crazy I think there are more than a dozen vending machines here and they're all kind of crazy vending machines like this one right here this one has juices but that that is survival bread for 990 yen they have balls rubber balls on sale that's a can of yakitori and that's a can of coconut milk for a 990 yen that's expensive on this side they have kuma cut it spicy bear curry can you believe that bakery and that's $16 $16 and these boxes consist of mystery items and they're like 980 and 400 idea I have no idea what's inside there let's move on because this is just crazy and here these are drinks except that one that is an emergency candle candle emergency candle oops sorry and these are mostly drinks but with the exception of some canned fruits energy drinks on this side we have some beetles these are beetles for 540 and I'm not sure if they're real or fake and this is these are bells for $16 and these are model trains we have some regular drinks here and all the sudden we have escargot a can of escargot what the hell a cannabis caramel all right I'm gonna buy popcorn from a vending machine first time ever let's begin and I says they had three flavors but they don't it's all the same oh oh what oh it's my grave of it as you get a difficult alarm Oh oh this thing down hey this is hot oh my god ah oh this is this is a be
