STORM CLEAN UP. after worst snow storm in 10 years

[Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] go ahead and make a video about storm cleanup probably the most damage you've seen to trees be a snow storm a long time took me all morning to get everything set up here but homeowner wants a chip shuttled up to somewhere by his house had this trailer hooked up the other truck had put the flatbed on it because well bed rails would have been deleted in this situation i'm going to go ahead and tilt this up so that chips don't bounce over i'm gonna go ahead and start chipping into this bad boy [Music] [Music] this power company puts in a new pole and then they leave the hardware on the ground right there the power lines laying over there still you got to watch out for that super tough wire that they use for could be underneath a pile of brush you don't want to throw that through the chipper [Music] untrustworthy log well let me i'll run five feet of it through it and i'll pull back out you guys can see it but there's a scar right there on the log it could mean that there's metal in there when they hung the power line so grab metal detector and check that before it run through there [Music] [Music] it's a little bit but i can't get my uh i should go oh i mean it filled up the trailer in like oh man tires sunk big trailer it's not really ideal i guess yeah it just goes completely straight i think when your front tires are on the cement if you could give her some more power and get a little bit of speed there you go [Music] that uh engineered beam underneath there that missed by like an inch yeah you don't have a lot of weight on the front no i mean that looks good all right up there with you get it in hardly anywhere near this is an on-road trailer got splattered my lens plasma cutting or something yesterday maybe well [Music] he's over talking you think it's safe to go out there yeah it's all flat out but don't meet it's not pushy [Music] yep she's sliding right out keep on going okay hold it right there just a little bit you can go ahead and lower it i thought it was powered down just push a little harder your truck screen go green sam fuel cap green waste product that is about equivalent to three priuses right there i think i think the governor owes you some carbon credits for today just today [Music] me [Music] the black bird inside your chest that cause on you to cry you decided it was time for him to fly out of the darkness and into the light higher and higher out of sight whispered inside your heart tells you let go time to leave the past [Music] well that's all the chips that this customer said they wanted back to the backyard so we're done with the dump trailer just going to broadcast the rest blew the mass amount of them off and i'll give the rest of d.o.t [Music] he's still down there with you [Music] [Music] uh yeah one two three four five five logs together [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] well i've chipped up all the tops and the snags that he fell got this one nasty hanger down here and uh i guess you gotta fall the snags well i was grinding all that stuff up haas was cutting this into firewood for the homeowner get a pickup back here for this stuff freaking dirt at the end of that thing so [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] so [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] some of these well shoot it's funny how that one stayed straight but then the rest of them just said nope we're tipping over that one's i'm remarked that one that one's fine maybe i don't know oh all right hey look felt better damn [Music] [Music] big timber be on that netflix show it's worth ten thousand right there but the storm damage got to it so we're not gonna recover good thing there's a crooked s bush underneath there that we're gonna be saving on yeah this is hillary clinton's seat right here oh there's a lot left on that one tilt it sideways so it'll just roll alongside you if not that way [Music] run the mulch at the end of the job making look like a nice flat garden out there but i want to give you guys a little glimpse of what the snow load actually look like this area does not typically get this much snow maybe throughout the whole season we'll get this amount but not in one night and these trees they were just not acclimated to that kind of weight and well there was tons of them that just broke the tops fell on power lines when i say thousands of trees fell down on the lines they're still cleaning up the mess everywhere these trees just were not braced for this kind of weight and they a lot of them lost but we're going to be on storm cleanup for a little while now get all this mess taken care of when people think well you're wasting the wood grinding it up you ought to see the pile that the county has piled up alongside the highway it's about 30 feet high by 500 feet long of just end up load after end up loading they're just running it through a shredder there's just tons and tons of pine debris everywhere but thanks guys for watching hope you
