Steering in the RIGHT direction?!

hey it looks like you're getting into your work uh yeah I mean I'm down here with it my parents have grown tired of me so they left me up to my own devices and you know what that means back on the square body oh yeah I'm getting ready for this thing and it just needs a couple more like I've been saying for the past couple of episodes but I need to replace the steering column so I'm going to be tearing that out see it's just in there just needs to Boom so I'll get started on that and of course I'm dragging y'all with me so let's get to [Music] it all right so I think Finn and I have got this so it's pretty much just stering CM pulled up by these two bolts but I'm going to undo those right now oh that's tightening I'm going to undo them right now and hopefully it comes out I'm going go look at the other side yeah go look it's not coming out what's the problem so you see that right there uh that that can't fit through the hole oh yeah so you might want to call that on this one uh yeah this is a need that moment I think we finally got her Victory took me a minute and a half but it's good she's out now it's time to put the new one in morning we got some stuff to do today we got steering columns on och's truck I'm going to get those set up but we got three different ones here see that they're all different that's the original one it comes out and the shift lever is on the right side of it I got this one it comes out on the left side so maybe astrov van and I just got this one but it's a standard so we're going to take all these parts and make one so we'll see if we can do okay I got the steering wheel off and I got to pull all this goodies apart right here I get this snap ring off here and pull this rest of the piece off and Hope hopefully we can use this little collar for ochre steering column I'll put you on H time lapse and you can see what I'm doing and I'll show you the [Music] breakdown okay we drilled this all out here's all the junk just like so this thing has been into oh well all I need is this so doesn't really matter let's take the screws out oh I got to pull the wiring so I got to undo some stuff so I'll time laps you show you the rest to tear [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] down okay we got this uh steering column tore down here's the piece we're looking for right there so right we'll take the other steering column and tear it apart do the same thing and make one out of it maybe we'll see we're going to see if we can make it fit so we'll disassemble everything and I'll just show you when we get it down so hopefully we got the right parts you never know right okay development bad or I just didn't know but these pieces see right there to right here hard to see sorry are different I didn't realize they were I don't know I've tore them down many times but I just I forgot so I'm going to have to go find some different parts so maybe we'll go do something else we failed on the steering column didn't work we got multiple columns they're all wrong so we're going to try something different maybe this radiator will work I ordered it because of course it sat here for two seconds and it started leaking yep so we'll see if we can install this so maybe it'll be the right one so we'll drain it all down and uh swap her out so we'll at least get something done today we flush this cooler for the transmission now we're changing it the way our Luck's going we're probably not even going to get a radiator fit I got my side done you're going to blame it on that yeah cuz I have nothing experience I have nothing else to blame it on no hey oh howdy don't mind me just walking away just getting her done got his Tools in his pocket so that's perfect wow it's kind of messy and you got it all over in the gun you should go get a rag get transmission fluid ew she's off slowly pull it off and let her drain everywhere that looks good Ando your line Line's UND beautiful and you can see it right there leaking so this is the original heavy and there is a Smith's matchbook you think those will strike one way to find out on well they're a little wet yeah yeah all right let's see if it'll fit in there now got her yeah she's pulled back that kind of almost fits it'll it'll crunch in there we're some bolts we'll we'll make it fit one thing has to work today just one now if all the hoses will fit I need to get some need to get a good place that sells parts that work amen if anybody knows where that is let us know let us know because no parts really fit anymore getting the training lines in yeah but I got a wrench so okay so it might be a minute I'm taking a minute but they will in that looks like that'll work we'll fill it back up got her all filled up well got that bottle is there more so we'll find some more antifreeze get her filled up the rest of the way we'll fire it up the uh fuel pump drained off sit so we got to drive it so I was going to drive it we were trying right yeah we were trying we'll get the steering column worked out but we're going to let this warm up and uh we'll use the top on again and check temperature you got dad playing with his toys oh yeah check it out we're uh checking the hot fluid bubbling up so we're just about ready to open thermostat then this part will be done and we're just looking for the steering column so see look at that radiator got 106 120 we got this thing done at least the radiator part was still looking for the steering column so but our cabinets are here so we can get the house going so we're going to go and load those twinning is winning oh yeah love the merch it's easy to work in I know it's easy to play in it's pretty nice you should maybe get get yourself or someone you love or anybody some merch it works for any occasion yeah even wait are we primering today no we're playing today oh it's hard to tell well let's see what we've done all right so Mom textured kind of all the kitchen bathroom and Anna's room and Mom primered primed primered primer this room except for I think I saw a spot I forgot see that oh you did that's awward get touched and that didn't get touched well let's go see my work I don't think I missed anything you are probably better with the roller than I am but it's all white and ready for paint hopefully we got the kitchen done too yesterday and so now today we are going to Mom's going to texture the what are you texturing the boys's room the's office yeah and the bathroom and then I will be primering my room the closet and a couple other little things that we have already textured well I picked up a little present at Mountainland today thanks Hyrum you're amazing he found my package so what do you think's in here probably the faucet for the sink faucets for the sink let's see I knew it what gave you the clue um Mountainland Mountainland yeah not not Mo I don't know what that is to be honest I thought it said meow to be honest with you I don't know how to open this box it's child proof is a name brand for uh it's plumbing parts oh look how good these look that's heavy yeah they're nice yeah look they're they're Square they are oh they are square they fit with our theme we love a good Square housee so um I know you guys saw me tried to texture yeah and it was something yeah it was it was something to watch and um I don't know how I feel about texturing it's not my favorite job but I do like to paint and I get into my work she's amazing so we are now going to primer SL paint I feel like it's the same thing I know they're different but it's the same thing in my book so I'm going to start painting and I hope I'm better with that that I am texturing but I guess we'll [Music] [Applause] see okay we have found the correct steering column we had to go to Smithfield and get it but it's Callum that's the one we need tilt with uh the correct end and this cuz we need an automatic one right here automatic got to have it so we'll bolt this piece on and the norer throw it in hey what what do you have in there uh just new steering comb you know it's freshh fresh yeah it's looking new with a little rust you oh yeah that's character though but now just hook up all the goodies oh yeah hook everything on put that collar back on and put the rest of the junk on the rest of all the stuff we're still looking for dash we got to find some gauges yeah they're shot we'll get on this and then she'll be running okay let's get her hooked up looks like you're getting into your work uh yeah I mean I'm down here with it that's for sure but I just need to find where everything buttons up and then we'll be good oh hey getting the last brace on uh yeah it's just I got a wrench so it's taking me a little while oh yeah little bit I'm getting her then the shifting linkage oh yeah and then she's all buttoned up nice so I'm here with nna we've painted your room what do you think I love it it's beautiful I mean it doesn't look near as brown now that the primer is all covered yes yes it's not Stark change it's just a mild change here it goes but you guys are going to be making fun of me because everyone says you should spray it goes so fast and we are rollering yes we rollered primer yes we rollered paint and yes we'll roller a second coat of paint but it's cuz it goes so fast look at that it just looks amazing and Nat gets to see it before she goes on her trip this works out perfect so I'll get back to work and we'll see what we can't get done okay so I just got my room done it looks so good um I think I covered everywhere sometimes it's a little bit hard to tell but I even got the closet done I think it looks pretty good and if I miss the spot we'll either touch it up or we'll just get it with the paint so it'll work well I'm done for today and so I'm going to come back tomorrow and hopefully primer um the bathroom and the other room and so hopefully we can get that done tomorrow she's officially done isn't that right it looks like it works we got a steering colum in there everything's in there and we don't have a busted Keyhole anymore yeah it looks good shifts works but we just got to get the gauges working now yeah I mean none of them work I think the gas gauge works and the odometer so hey that's all we need right he we got two out of five those aren't great odds not going to lie to you but she works yeah let's go take it for a ride holy cow look at that she's alive and it's got gas in it I know imagine that yeah the speedometer does work but nothing else no they're gauges so going we're going to have to do some do some fiddling with those so I don't have a rear viw mirror here right now what that's oh yeah it's not even it's gone gone I think I have my visor my in the back so oh yeah it's back there I mean we don't even have the what GL glove box is missing ashtrays all bent but we got a little we got a little work to do but she's a fixer uper just like her owner true true so that's quiet I know so I can sneak out I mean so I don't interrupt the neighbors afterno okay I'm taking the exhaust off ah I mean yeah there we go that's better we'll take her home but I think for right now what do you think I love it works yeah it works it's quiet it's going to do what I need it to it's going to be a good car for me yeah truck truck whatever fixer fix inspect your bathroom I come oh who look at the bathroom I like it so it's a pretty color yeah it's going to be so good we just got done painting Nana's bathroom but ochre came in Tada he's going to join me here I am there he is he says he's ready to take us on a test drive I mean the little butes just right out that window as you can see oh we'll turn this way there she is right there I mean she's got a steering column in so it doesn't have a ripped out keyboard anymore so I was going to go take him for a little stroll Nana you up for it absolutely girls night out in the boys truck here we are we're all going for a ride in Buttercup way OCH this is a sweet ride I know right use two hands on the steering wheel when you're I am using too you have Nana in here what are you talking about I have two hands on the stair well a hand and a wrist so it's pretty much the same I mean this is pretty roomy yeah three three big huge adults in the front seat and we still have room in the back and we got Ben back there he was booted oh yeah wow what time is it 11:30 oh we've only been up since 5 that's okay that's okay night shift is good look at this we got the room all done so guess what this means primer tomorrow primer tomorrow it also means we're 2/3 done with 50% of the texture I wore my hair down this was a bad idea but it's okay my glasses it's looking good well it's time to go in a shower actually I think we're going to go get a late night uh dinner since we excited about it okay well we're back at it again today and all of us are here today cuz it's Saturday and so we're all on different jobs in the house so we're going to see what everyone's up to hi F what are you doing hey painting you're painting like real paint or primer uh I was told real paint okay I like it it's looking good are you cutting in yeah I'm pain those two walls it's c those two walls okay well Fin's on painting job how are we what are you doing I'm wandering aimlessly oh figures now today is finished electrical I got my little stuff here got my super for Beats oh yeah you're set for life we're ready so we'll get that done and uh then I'll do whatever else you tell me to do oh okay well we'll see how this goes hey hey what are you guys doing uh putting the roof I mean the siding together this is an awesome angle for you ochre I know right it makes some so much smaller well you guys are on sighting today oh yeah trying to get that side on okay well it's looking good so everyone is on different jobs trying to get the house done I'm still going to be primering I got my room done yesterday but I still have the bathroom and the other room so let's hope that we can get all these things done today and maybe just get one step closer to having the house done let's go see what the crew is doing hey look at this just cutting in you're getting I'm almost to the walls it's taking a while it takes a while by yourself I'm used to having like usually mom Cuts in ochre does the ceiling and then I just do the walls so usually I'm just on walls so this weird but it is a bathroom too so there's lots of edges there's a lot yeah that's okay we can do this you're doing great thank you electrician hasn't got to this room hasn't got in there I thought you said it was electrician failed this room we're we're getting there moving on moving on whoa cutting it in getting ready to go huh yeah yeah Aller yeah hey look at that hi people or is it afternoon now I think it might be afternoon it's afternoon but look at that that's looking good know right oh yeah now we just got to just keep going second level okay electrician will get back on duty yeah I got more rooms to do so we're out all right we're getting things done finally we got lights fan yay three-way oh yeah things are working we got the shower slide on oh yeah oh and the fan this room's done closet ooh it's dark not anymore check it out so two rooms down three room four rooms down let's go see what these guys are doing out here hey are we done yet it's so hot but that looks so good do it oh yeah where's Finn painting my room he's painting your room he is I told him to do a good job and there was a spider and I was like Finn make sure you kill that he's like I'll just paint over it so I said no and we had a conv so wait a minute have you been painting no cuz you got paint all over your face we should have competition between I'm going to go check Finn right now and see how he looks let's see your face how's your face looking no paint oh wait no there there's a little teeny Speck right there that's oh it's it's dust um so here's the thing is I just get into my work oh yeah I like to be one with it so yeah what do you think about that things happen the bathroom was rough so be ready no it wasn't just let her have it just let her just just let her have it you're an amazing job Nanny but hey we got all the bathroom done and their closet now we just have the room left I think these guys are doing a great job and uh we'll keep on doing look at this amazing job except don't go over there though I'm not that you're doing pretty good you don't have too much paint on you how how's how's F whoa you almost hit me with holy cow how's Finn doing d you dripped she's pressuring me to go faster I want to go on my own pace in my own pace I would have never dripped he says I made him messy how what look at you no don't look at me and then look at me clean not not so clean but look at the speed but look at the perfection oh yeah the Perfection I've seen three spots that hav I think it looks very nice you guys are doing a great job we're almost done this is the last room I primered it this morning okay w i look really white but I primered it this morning yeah that's something oh W but I primered it now we're painting so it's the last room that we be painted first coat first coat the second so you got one more yeah okay but it looks good I'm going to go back to my electrical Mass okay well we are finally done I know we haven't filmed much cuz watching us paint it's the same thing over and over again and kind of boring but we got it all done and now we just have to do the second coat but that'll be later on so after we put the baseboards on yes so there's still a lot more to do Dad's still on electrical Duty he's trying his best there but I think he's 2/3 done with 50% % yeah same that we are with painting yeah we're marking it off you know we're getting there we're
