Star Citizen Blew my Mind

Ah that's the war face now let me see your warfing it started with no man's Sky it then progressed into Elite dangerous and now here I finally am in the 5 million dollar space Lark project I got a big schnoz I'm not gonna lie I have a disease whatever the space Corps from Portal 2 had that's what I have but why now what finally got me to participate in the triathlon that is buying Star Citizen it's 12 17 right now I started this at 10 30. so that's what almost two hours of work I'm ready to start playing well and I'm proud to say this it's all because of this look up a little bit just a little bit just a little bit there you go there you go say something say say something hi Mom what you are seeing right now is my face moving my character's face it's basically a mini V tuber rig just sitting in Star Citizen all I had to do was turn on my webcam Hulk I'm sorry I'm sorry what did you do I just watched my guy evaporate you might be asking why what purpose does that serve well what if I told you I was wrong earlier that this isn't a five million dollar game this is a 500 million dollar game we did it boys we're in space this is it we are not in space we're on a planet I'm flying over the space bus that we took earlier this is crazy there are eight countries operating on less money than this game oh no Mike took the controls would you like to die very fast I'm putting on my helmet hang on I'm putting on my helmet no stop you sure I was completely unaware the level of momentum this game has had for the past 10 years straight and now I get to come into it 10 years and 500 million dollars deep give me some more of that smoothie please oh I don't all I don't like what you're doing so what does a 500 million dollar game look like well apparently it looks like this can I sit on this bench yes yeah oh my God this game is perfect all right I'll be sitting on a bench waiting for you can I see myself uh where do we go we do I think this is it I think this is the game oh game for the first time became quite an event for me Corey and Mike we started a new Babbage a City built on a frozen planet so everything is encapsulated in tubes this looks so cool Bioshock it does look like Bioshock and it is stunningly gorgeous the game does stutter a lot but I don't even mind because I feel like it's valid but if this ever got VR uh it would probably require a computer the size of a small children's hospital no computer short of a super computer should be able to run this at 120 frames per second which is a lot of the time what's happening when it's not stuttering dude it's so dorky does it really light up my face that much oh my God it does I've completely illuminated we played on our first night for two hours straight Collision alert yeah Mike that's really close uh we do it are we down yeah and the highlight of that entire session was buying hot dogs yeah hot dogs that's literally the only thing we accomplished other than Mike flying my ship into a closed bay door I'm glad we both have insurance but the next two hours I played on Twitch where I had chat helping me and this is where I finally got my first taste of the actual gameplay in Star Citizen where am I going where am I going I'm not even controlling the ship I'm looking around the cockpit the planet is gone what's half oh was it on the other side of the planet uh uh okay God that was scary we're good yeah look at that gorgeous all right slowing down watching I'm slowing down slowing down slowing down oh I'm still down lift lift you're joking you're joking was that my Corps pause skip to this time code I'm sorry at least I'm not selling you a ball trimmer okay I'm flashing a meme on screen to explain for the curious and then that's it across your Google accounts [Music] happy did you I'm hooked oh look there's me this is where my corpse fell out earlier it's fairly standard space Amazon gameplay just like an elite dangerous but the warp speed system is a lot more approachable honestly the entire Starship is a lot more approachable I bet I can oh wait oh Mike what have you done what have you done what have you done if you're wearing a hospital gown oh no hahaha I just watched your guy in hospital characters I thought I was gonna spin around and get in my ship like you do and then I thank God that I was in my ship and I I only have one seat so I immediately jump out oh my God he's just slowly lifts out of the chair and then it's just and on foot you get guns right behind you behind you all right I just I just killed the guy I killed I killed the guy I killed filbert [Music] [Laughter] we did it we did it oh my God we did it oh behind you all right get him no I'm incapacitated Mike you gotta revive me Mike I don't I don't think I know CPR like please I'm got cut down there's no way there's no way this is one of the greatest games I've ever played it's almost impossible to get anything done because it sacrifices everything in the name of immersion and it's so janky but I haven't laughed this hard in so long looks like this is it Mike uh it looks like laughs I can't feel it like stick with me stay with me but we just gotta we just gotta wait for help to cry it hurt with friends this game is incredible streaming it was incredible I've never been able to communicate with facial expressions before and until I could do it I didn't realize how helpful it was here we are first time setting foot on another world a big moment for Humanity I I just want to thank everyone here I want to thank everyone here for finally getting my eyes to open fully um um could have done it without you couldn't couldn't have done it without you cannot believe it captures that face couldn't have done it without you God this is the best game this is how I spent the past week of my life and it was absolutely beautiful it worked really well until it didn't I punched the guy like 40 times yeah they're all just walking around ignoring me I am fully on board the Star Citizen hype train now bounty hunting streams are gonna be the new normal on Twitch for me oh oh oh oh god oh okay okay don't panic Don't Panic Don't Panic what do we do I guess we just
