STAINING CONCRETE FLOORS for the Hill County BARNDOMINIUM HOME | Texas Best Construction

all right guys welcome back to the channel and i'm here with mario ledesma with ledesma concrete solutions services or services solutions solutions and basically these guys are here with us in uh the for the hill county barn dominium and we're getting ready to stain some concrete yes sir so uh looking forward to that but mario's gonna kind of just tell us a couple of the steps involved with uh basically staining the concrete and so first off uh and we're gonna tell you the product that he's gonna be using so uh give me an idea basically what needs to happen mario um so first of all we use a buffer a buffing machine we use some water we put some acid in there multi acid and we buff it and then we use a vacuum we pick up all the water with it so we don't have any water splattered everywhere and then once we have that we mop it up with just a mop and a mop bucket and then we um we stain it with the where's it at a little sprayer we use a little sprayer and we use this chemical right here uh which we're doing walnut this time and it's the best product out there you can buy it online also camiko and you can buy it on uh line comes in a one gallon there with that's walnut color yeah okay and if you go out to uh in dallas you can probably pick this up for uh around 40 bucks 40 bucks for the color yeah but a lot of stores are gonna sell them a little bit more expensive and once we stain everything we once we just go back and we buff it with some wax and seal which is really durable for dogs and just everyday activities and that's about it yeah you were telling me that was a little bit of a a better durable uh wax that you're going to use on this yes sir it's just outdoor country life you know and you're gonna have a lot of dirt and dogs coming in and out you know so anything as far as that for maintaining these floors yeah we can always come back and and give it a shine again uh whenever the customer would like what would the client i mean what would the client do to maintain these floors uh all you have to do is just a mop bucket with water and that's about it just to clean it up just to clean your floor especially i mean there's no special chemicals or anything you have to be aware of certain chemicals um honestly i just told my customers just to use water um because that's the safest and cleanest way to do it because if you put any kind of chemical you can probably ruin your floor okay and then that's a lot expensive so uh but you know sometimes people want to use like a shine or something like that is that a bad idea uh that is kind of a bad idea yeah in my in my perspective yeah all right all right guys so we're going to show you more of the process involved with this um but mario and these guys i'm looking forward to showing you everybody welcome back uh back here today and as you can see we've got color on the floors and everything is looking good and actually these guys have already applied a wax finish to it now we will be coming back when once the rest of the construction is done and all the sheetrock painting all that is done so we will actually be coming back but everything's pretty much ready for us to proceed uh through the process of construction now at this point and uh one of the things that we'll be doing is we'll be putting um floor covering over this whole floor but yeah let's let's check it out i want to show you guys kind of how it turned out again this color is called walnut and right now like i said we don't have lighting in here but you can kind of get a feel for how it's going to go and i really like the blend of the colors with the stone and the way that everything's looking here it's going to be really nice clients super happy about it and i think they're going to be really pleased with the way that it turns out in the end because of the color schemes and everything that they have planned so anyhow that's what's going on so yeah let's check it out [Music] so [Music] all right guys so we really like the way this turned out like i said our clients are happy which is uh most important as well um it's gonna go right along with this whole feel of this barn doe and uh we're looking forward to continuing to make progress uh so i hope you guys are enjoying seeing all the progress on this build series don't forget to check our playlist because we've got several other build series going right now and pretty sure we'll have these guys back over as well doing some other finish on some other floors coming up but we've got a little bit ways to go on some of these other builds so i hope you guys are enjoying seeing the progress on these builds as we go um you know we've made quite a bit of progress here but the next thing we're going to be focusing on here is our insulation and then we'll be at uh doing drywall and finishes building cabinets getting cabinets into place and as the cabinets are finished uh we'll be doing uh painting the cabinets and painting the house and then from that point it's just uh all about rocking and rolling getting this job finished up so and once all the paint works done we'll be pulling all this cover back off these floors and we'll be coming back in and mario and these guys will be back and uh doing our final finish on the staying concrete so uh we look forward to showing you guys that i hope you'll stay tuned for the ride
