hello guys my name is Mo King and in this video I'm going to show you how to create export and import SRT files in Premiere Pro to create your SRT file simply go over to window workspaces captions and graphics and select captions and graphics and move over to your text over here and select transcribe select your input language which is English for me I'll select mix because I want a mix of all the audio layers on my timeline but if you want for a single layer you can select that single layer and hit transcribe and as you can see Premiere Pro is automatically creating your auto transcription from the audio in your timeline and now as you can see we have our video transcribed over here in our source Monitor and if you want to edit anyone we can simply double click on it to edit it now in my previous video I showed you how to edit these subtitles and change them into captions and design them to fit whatever platform you're creating them for so I'm not going to go into all of that in this video but I'll drop the link to that video in the description section now finally to create my captions I'm going to come over here and click create captions I'll leave this as subtitle default leave this as subtitle and just hit create and as you can see Premiere plus automatically created these captions for me over here and as I move past now you can see the subtitles over here now I'm going to move to the first subtitle over here and select it so I can decide to remove Shadow over here and add a background to it and I can increase the opacity of the background to a hundred now to apply this effect across all the other subtitles I'm just going to move over to my textile over here and create style and hit OK and what this will do is that it's going to apply this effect across all the other subtitles over here so basically there's a lot that you can do and if you want to learn how to do more you can always watch my previous video the link will be in the description section and now the next I want to show you is how to export this SRT file simply come over to your preview window over here and select these three dots and now you have the option to export to SRT file select this option and select where you want it saved I'm going to hit my desktop here and I'm going to give this the name SRT file and hit OK and automatically Premiere Pro has exported this SRT file into my laptop now to import this SRT file into Premiere Pro all you need to do is to move over to file come down to import select the location for Miss desktop and I'll scroll down to where I have that file saved which is srt.srt here and import it and if I drag this onto my timeline over here and hit OK you'll notice that Premiere Pro has imported it onto my timeline over here and Premiere Pro has deselected the previous subtitle and this is the new subtitle that I've imported over here and that's it guys on how to create export and import SRT files in Premiere Pro thank you guys for watching this tutorial I hope you found this tutorial very useful if you did kindly give this video a thumbs up and don't forget to subscribe to my YouTube channel thank you and see you guys in my next video tomorrow
