SQL Network Interfaces error 26 Error locating server/instance specified

[Music] what's up William Baron here with dr. exteriors and we are inside of is inside of one virtual 2016 server and we got a sequel server running in another virtual 2016 server so what we got here so we've got an era Network related or an instance specific error occurred Wow establishing a connection to sequel server basically it's saying that it cannot find that sequel server first time we're gonna do is from over here to our services so we need to go in southern control panel open it up if you do not see this maybe here to view by and choose large icons choose Administrative Tools come over here to services then you scroll all the way down to your sequel server which is right here you want choose sequel server browser an 18 tell it is not running right click on it and to start okay go ahead and keep that window open come down here to Windows Firewall and bench security choose inbound rules and right over here choose new rule we're going to choose port and then choose next and choose all ports then click on neck and then allow the connection click on next leave that default click finish open up sequel server come over here the protocols and ports we want to change this to any come down here and click on apply and then click on OK you can go ahead and close out of this last thing we want to do this I've been up our Start menu come down here to our aims to our sequel server and to sequel server 2016 configuration once that opens come down here the sequel server network configuration click on a little arrow choose protocol for your server open up tcp/ip come over here and choose yes get rid of the 0 and change this to 1 4 3 3 click on apply choose ok click OK go ahead and close out this window open services backup right click on sequel server and choose restart and choose yes ok yeah then you go back inside your web server right click and choose reload and choose continue and now everything's working like it's supposed to I am wearing the Star Trek Studios inside of sequel Server 2016 inside of a virtual machine and running s inside of another virtual machine y'all I've given that [Music]
