Spider-Man Cast on Traveling Together, Mysterio & Samuel L. Jackson

yeah there you go that's spiderman far from home the cast is here you know your first time seeing that clip huh yeah last time what did you think did it live up to the expectations you had after shooting that i mean it reminded me of the hardest days of work i had oh was that the hardest one yeah there's a there's a shot in that trailer where i get punched by a hydro man uh-huh and in the day i'm sitting on the ground on this thing called a ratchet so you basically you're attached to this machine they press the button and you zoom backwards smash into a wall and there's a tip tank that's meant to soak me in water and it's meant to look like the water's smashing me into the wall it's nine o'clock in the morning october it's cold i know they haven't heated the water in the tank i know this is about to be a really tough morning they go three two one action they fire the button i whiz back i hit the wall completely dry and then you hear the sfx guy go sure and then so we had to do that twice i have a question are you from another country because i'm detecting an accent of some kind interesting how jake you play mysterio who is uh who's i always knew to be a villain but i don't know based on the trailer he's mysterio seems pretty friendly with uh with spider-man yeah we team up to fight the elemental creatures uh-huh these the water cree this is uh the water creature then there's a fire creature you don't know their names right yeah they don't really have they don't have names they're they're out there from all the elements yeah i gotcha um this is the mysterio costume and the costume in the movie is very faithful to the uh to the original yeah you even have the the eyes on above your nipples which is nice but is that uncomfortable at being in are my nipples basically doesn't everybody have nipples fries [Laughter] having a fish tank on your head is that uh unpleasant no it's it's nice is the costume okay no the costume's great actually the thing that they designed which is incredible is this chest plate that's like this amazing chest plate on the first day of work i didn't know much about the marvel world i just was coming on the set and uh john watts our director he said he's like okay so you're going to come in and you're going to stand up on the platform and then it was with sam jackson this is the first scene i shot and then you're gonna jump off the platform you're gonna arrive and you're gonna say a couple of lines you're gonna throw your arms and those are gonna be the lasers that come out of your hands and i was like okay cool so we started shooting and they everyone freezed and then john was like get out there so i ran out there ran up onto the platform and i jumped down and i threw out my arms and i was like you don't want any part of this legit my arms could not extend i was like my first moment i thought like i'm in the marvel movie this is so great i was like we tried again didn't work and then i and then john was like cut cool that's good we're good let's move on and i was like what my arms didn't it and then the effects guy was like it's cool we'll make you look cool it's fine did sam notice your tyrannosaurus arms uh in that sam jackson yeah he was he was like check out the big brain on brad no and that was it that was it no he didn't he was like he was cool sam jackson uh uses a bad word in the in this was that yeah that's got to be fun to see sam jackson cursing at you in a movie right i mean he does it the best yeah he's yeah he is the best at it he's the top cursor in the united states yeah i would say is that scary though in any way to when he's he called you uh a right yeah yeah was it well like out of work or was that like it was on screen yeah it's terrifying it is yeah yeah yeah because you're thinking of pulp fiction when he's doing it absolutely yeah that sort of so good coming out of his mouth him also right it wasn't like something kind of every like young actor's dream though to be called a by sam jackson yeah it is so how many cities did you guys shoot this movie in how how many were total were you in and which ones well i think that's giving away a lot of things prague london ross venice new york yeah and zlatan were all there did you hang out together or or did you guys split up by like kind of age groups like the uh you do like so you're just calling us old no no you guys aren't old no we're super hip we're very cool we could hang out you know i'm literally we can party pretty hard did you or did like the three you and the two of you split up or what i mean i was oh i was i was with sam a lot and i was usually you know we were in london for the portion but you guys went on to some amazing i was so jealous because all the teenagers went to prague and venice and all these amazing spots yeah that's pretty good yeah was that fun yeah it was super fun and exciting to be able to like shoot somewhere and then you're like whoa you just kind of zoom out of your life and you realize like this is where i am this is my life did you get to go around or was it too crazy for to go see things oh we actually did get to do a lot of things yeah what did you do uh we were hanging out in london a lot uh went to a museum right they went to museum in venice wow a museum what's great though about filming is that we get to shoot in the places you would want to go and visit but we get to lock them down for periods of time so we get to experience certain sets kind of like we booked them out privately because we're filming there so it's kind of cool being able to walk around st mark's square and there's no one really there until people find out loads of people found out and then it became crazy and then suddenly it became crazy yeah and you had pigeons all over you yeah yeah i did you had what yeah yeah man they they they wanted my carrot character to hang out with the pigeons so they had to sprinkle like seeds all over me and really sounds like the met ball yeah it was very similar yeah they seated you it was more like a dirty prank really but the thing is is like they're vicious kind of you know what i mean like as soon as you drop anything they're like they're on you so like it was it was slightly terrifying but i handled myself these weren't friendly actor pigeons no no no they weren't hired they were not at all hi i'm
