yeah but um it was was the most amazing night yeah ever I think you know we've spoken I just said it was probably the best thing we've done as the Spice Girls we were representing our country it was such a huge thing for us it was amazing now i r Posh wasn't keen on doing it is this true did you have to talk her into it do you know the funny thing is it says there in the newspaper oh um well we you know we did it so that kind of disproves that silly headline but um the funny thing is I remember having dinner at Victoria's about two years ago yeah and it was simil isn't it we were sitting outside someone was very drunk and um May I'll piss [Laughter] her this is like two years before the Olympics and we spoke about it didn't we we said it would be amazing you know have priv who wouldn't want to do it who wouldn't want and then it happened so we were just so excited about it the whole rehearsals leading up to it was amazing well the kids came the after party the after party it was oh my God the Afterparty was absolutely brilliant so we had to get cuz you it's like a military operation getting in and then getting out we're all on this coach with all these cool artists and then like a coach a coach we had to get a coach it was like a bit like celebrity coach trip really really a Kate Hudson News to go to Coach got one of those taxis that were just driving around on Emily Sand's milk float to you end up going back to George's George George Michaels George Micha you had people like I don't know Oasis guys a real mixture Collective Bunch all just so high from you know the atmosphere off the environment and the excitement and yak and Yak that does get bi racing through face 8:00 it was brilliant wasn't itren Rush is it true that Kate M noomi Campbell saw Mel be naked oh so fabulous I don't know if you remember but melany had on this incredible like jeweled catsuit sequins just covering all the it it needed to cover and she was so funny she just wouldn't take it off and uh and when we got to George's we all needed a Wei of course you do yeah right so every there was a queue for the L and I was like stop that have you seen this house there's loads of bugs in here let's go so we upstairs we we found a little bedroom with an on suite and we went on the L in there so she's got the catsuit around her ankles covering her boobs and yeah and and Kate and Naomi barging needing the lo oh my God and they see our um tens one it's a good T good one nice shiny fresh TPP mind of saying that it's it's a good one a great a good one yeah and and I think yeah it's beautiful I thought like that should be on a poster or something five stars lovely TPP and smell be you couldn't miss it I mean thank God Naomi wasn't throwing one of those phones around was going in a tunnel now one thing Jerry I've got to ask you about there was a certain man backstage which one Russell Brand friend of mine become one did Two Become One the oh everyone's on the coach we're just friends just friends nothing happen it's his friend he does yoga you do yoga we all do yoga I've know him for years yoga they do yoga we all do yog yoga yeah yeah that's lovely okay yeah it's lovely as well as the Olympics you lot have been working together on this musical yes I cannot wait you're going to love it it's a brand new story and it's been inspired by music and the wonderful Jennifer Saunders has written the book oh brilliant so um it's funny it's touching it's emotional it's about friendship and empowerment and relationships and fame and how it affects people and we've got the brilliant Judy Kramer who's produced it who did Mama Mia the film and the musical so we've got the very best Mama Mia made2 billion pounds OMG no that's amazing now do you feel any point that they Sho on the songs thing that's something I hate when you go and see that Rod Stewart one you know this woman's eating a pot Noodle and go ah Hot Legs at the you know wait a bit there's none of that actually which I I ate that it puts me right you think about don't you yeah do you know a lot of our songs were really personal to us and you know some of them were about you know you or me yeah I started crying when they she sang Goodbye because oh that's about you think it's about me I me I'm really sorry I think it's about me right we she did one I think it's about me it's about you [Music] yeah leing part of the show and the songs do really work with the context of the story and the characters it's amazing uh with all the Spice Girls Nostalgia doing the rounds how do you feel about the era when you look back on it now do you miss it we're really proud We really proud I do miss it because when I'm with the girls I can be silly and muck around and but yeah I've got two kids now I have to be a little bit sensible but when I'm with them it's it's great fun there was a time when the world went Spice Girls mad what remember it was like crazy what were your best bits from that time well first number one second number one third number one fourth number one fifth number one one Christmas King well not really um but yeah you know I think from wannabe being released it just went crazy and it was amazing wasn't it every step of the way I think though the one that really stands out is the Brits like in our first Brit award was it was huge and we'd been around the world and we'd come home and we'd got this really huge award for us and it was that was a very special night we opened the didn't we in 1997 yeah from the outside you seem like uh best mates but of course back then there was a lot of arguing no no you do get on but I imagine girls stuck together five girls stuck together in a bloody room must have been like a pressure cooker yeah St what stuff did you fight about I think cuz we were under so much pressure and we were so busy and so tired and away from home and sometimes just silly things like someone would say something and someone took it the wrong way and you know family you can sort of yeah get away with it really used to have proper fights though when we got a bit tipsy oh Northern passion isn't it no it was ear thought it was a really good J split them yeah you know just like face you know scrolling up to each other come on then come on then come on then it do it it's not worth [Applause] it that's when we live together that was when we live together the two melanies would live Shar a room and Victoria Victoria Shar rooms yeah single beds I no had a double bed I'm gone a minute [Applause] yeah lastly did anything happen now in the double bed you ever got oh I was drunk my hand slip B aren't you anything happen we have asked questions about certain members of [Laughter] the it's all good right it's the '90s it's the '90s exension of our friendship now you've done the Olympics you've done the musical what are the chances of us seeing a proper Spice Girls full-blown reunion anytime soon you know what I've learned that you can never say never because I when I left the band back in the day I went I I was like you know little child and went no I'm never going to do that again and I did so it taught me that you can never say never it' be amazing you know I love these girls I think it's a privilege to hang out with them if that happened it' be amazing we have we do always have the best time and there's something that draws us back together for special things and you know performing you never know you never know anyway we've got to take a break there you are funny [Applause] oh join us again in a
