[Music] [Applause] welcome back to Sevilla everything guys today a black garlic experiment never had it is it good we're gonna find out right now check it out black garlic is basically fresh garlic that has been kept at a hundred and forty degrees Fahrenheit for two to four weeks the lower temperature causes a chemical reactions that causes the sugars to turn black supposedly it is healthier than fresh garlic as it has two times more antioxidants levels than fresh garlic now you can make black garlic at home by leaving in your circulator for two to four weeks at 140 degrees Fahrenheit or you can also use a rice cooker in warm mode and leave it for two to four weeks however I find that much more convenient to give it a try just to buy it and we're gonna be giving it a try and let you know how we like it on some steaks [Music] the first thing I got to do with these beautiful black garlic's is smash them up and make a paste out of it for today's cook I'm using these beautiful Flatiron steaks now since there are two steaks there it can be a tremendous amount of variation between steaks so I'm splitting them and combining half on half of each to run this experiment this will insure me mammalian ninja that we're trying everything from the same exact steak and for the fresh garlic I'm doing the exact same thing I'm seasoning the steaks with salt pepper and the garlic's [Music] now they are ready to be cook I'm cooking both steaks at 135 degrees Fahrenheit for two and a half hours we got the black garlic and the steaks ready and we hungry let's take it out [Music] [Music] while I have to tell you guys it smells extremely garlicky now here's the plan I am going to be removing all the additional garlic that already sat on top and we're going to sear these beautiful steaks today we're not going to use the Sears oh we're gonna use our new favorite toy it's awesome for inside of the office especially when it's raining outside anyway I know it doesn't look that good right now but watch this [Music] [Applause] [Music] looks fantastic isn't it I told you what's gonna look good now the heat gun everybody no smoke very little smell for an indoor environment there's no comparison but enough talking now we're gonna slice these beautiful steaks let's do it [Music] my good friend is how do they look wrong they look awesome bro and this map ah smells fantastic onyomi okay bro I like to try it tell me oh uh hmm what do you feel for all the spices spices what kind of spices really good spices garlic onion salt pepper awesome oh I love that he put all those spices there I love it awesome very good let's go for the next one you just go for it Oh soft tender I want to know if that one is different let me see hmm this is awesome is there a difference we want to know huge huge difference different flavor difference flavor difference and it has a little hint of I don't know what what it is but it's a really nice hint alright so you can tell so much let's see let's see my turn oh look at this perfect medium-rare that's awesome that one's awesome mm-hmm but it's not amazing this one is delicious ninja don't say that ninja this one is say that bro I have to wait yeah all right Wow mmm-hmm this one is fantastic everybody let's go for the next one I'm taller I told him I'm telling good I was not expecting that now boys say I don't let you say no it's amazing and delicious we want to come up with a new one oh my guys it is amazing well Big Momma you have to try it go my mouth all right all right for whatever hmm I love a good garlicky steak you can tell what's garlicky there's a lot of garlic is a lot of garlic in there no I girly I mean there's no bump I like any that thing my mom was good it was the Wow do me a favor go go for the second one I think a while guys eights they said it already be delicious but I cannot tell what it is what did you do there yeah it's different huh Wow Wow let's sum this up I am very surprised with the taste if I can injure can you describe a little bit better because you don't know what it is can you describe garlic steak freaking awesome you can tell with garlic oh yeah boy I can smell that and this one what's the difference between I don't know that one is it certain it that one is use you're sweeter than the other one this was a little more salty than that one Wow very good here's the here's the deal let me tell them what it is guys this one was salt pepper and regular fresh garlic that's why vampires can eat this one no you're not we have a bias on the channel don't make mistake let me tell you this one then tires will stay away from you and if you're going to if you're going out on a date or something you hate double yeah if she loved you she would love you no matter what that's true this one here guys is black garlic that was awesome black garlic I had no I didn't know what to expect I didn't think it was gonna be the taste is much more sweeter versus this one it's a very unique I think it really enhances the beef flavor and combines everything together do you agree how do you explain this taste it's like a different season that I'm not used to what do you think about the tenderness ninja I love them both man tendon is they are exactly the same everything is the sauce but this one is a little bit sweeter more enhanced beef flavor yeah and overall which one do you prefer ninja number B number B mama number B that's right this one here it was a lot superior than this one guys I hope you give that black garlic a try it is worth it let me
