Sorting Percy Jackson Characters Into Their Hogwarts Houses

foreign Percy Jackson and Harry Potter have a lot in common I actually made a whole video on it so it only makes sense that sorting Percy Jackson characters into Hogwarts houses would be fun for fans of both Series this was actually one of the most requested videos when I asked you guys what you wanted to see on this channel so here we are it's pretty cool to think about this especially considering the fact that technically Percy Jackson characters could go to Hogwarts as Hogwarts and Camp Half-Blood operate on opposite seasonal schedules one in the summer and one during the rest of the year I feel I should start by breaking down the qualities of each house we'll start with Gryffindor they value bravery daring nerve and chivalry moving on to Slytherin they value ambition leadership self-preservation and cunning and resourcefulness for Ravenclaw they value intelligence knowledge curiosity creativity and wit and finally Hufflepuff they value hard work dedication worth it now that I've said that let's get the video started Percy Jackson Gryffindor I feel like this one is obvious because Percy is one of the bravest characters in the series he constantly shows no fear as he goes up against some of the craziest threats like fighting the literal god of war and winning on my dad over and over again we see Percy showing great bravery daring and nerve he is the definition of Gryffindor I feel I can just leave it at that and all of you guys would agree with me Annabeth Chase Ravenclaw Annabeth is so smart and one of my favorite things about her is how she breaks The Stereotype of dumb blondes just like her mother Athena she's an intellectual genius she's wise and she's very witty she constantly thinks outside the box and comes up with the correct answer of what to do or how to move forward her creativity and curiosity are obvious with her love of architecture as she curiously visits landmarks wanting to learn all she can which again shows knowledge and intelligence and her creativity is shown in the way she designs concepts for new buildings and cities Grover Underwood Hufflepuff one of Grover's main qualities is loyalty especially when it comes to Percy Annabeth and Juniper Grover really feels emotions he's not afraid to cry both when happy and upset which also goes along with hufflepuffs who just care so much it hurts he also checks off the box for hard work as he works incredibly hard to one keep the earth clean and two to find pan even when all the odds are against him Thalia Grace Gryffindor Sally is one of the few characters in the series that Rivals Percy's bravery which makes her an obvious choice for Gryffindor her entire personality revolves around being brave and strong well except when it comes to Heights but overall she rushes into battle without a second thought always ready to fight going way back we saw this even when she was young she told Luke Annabeth and Grover to go on without her and sacrifice herself facing all of the monsters coming their way she also shows a lot of Daring and nerve as she fights one of her oldest friends Luke to what very well could have been to the death as she knocked him off a cliff she also has a lot of ambition as she joins and leads the hunters of Artemis and her involvement with the all-girl group also shows chivalry meaning that Thalia is checked off every single box for a Gryffindor possible so there's no doubt this is where she belongs Nico D'Angelo Slytherin just looking at his sister Bianca's death it brings out several qualities normally held by slytherins he shows ambition as he never gives up and trying to bring her back until he's literally forced to and he also holds a huge grudge against Percy for a death which is actually his fatal flaw holding grudges Nico is also very resourceful giving himself loads more power when using the dead meanwhile his self-preservation was shown when he lied to and tricked Percy into coming down to the underworld to what would ultimately be a trap and Nico did this for his own selfish reasons all to get answers about his mother from his father Hades and tricking Percy could also check off the box for his cunning looking at all of this it's pretty clear that Nico checks off almost every box for Slytherin Jason Grace Gryffindor chivalry is the trait that defines Jason more than anything which is one of the main qualities for gryffindors wallet Camp Jupiter he became a centurion and a preter which he got because all who knew him recognized how honorable and selfless he was his chivalry was on full effect in the way he followed and obeyed rules and Authority but at the same time he also showed bravery when he thought someone was being treated unfairly meaning he would go against the authority to make the necessary change a good example of this is when he stood up to Zeus himself calling him unwise for blaming the entire Gia crisis on Apollo Jason's bravery as Boaz is daring a nerve are also clearly shown when out in the field during battle he's one of the strongest Warriors in the series and he isn't afraid to take on even the biggest threats just like a true Gryffindor Lucas stellen Slytherin you could maybe make the argument that Luke was a Gryffindor given his final Act but looking at his overall Arc I think he fits the mold of a Slither and more he has great leadership as he led all those loyal to Kronos for most of the series and he was also the head counselor for the Apollo cabin for ambition we see this as he worked hard to become the best sword fighter at Camp Half-Blood and we also saw it when he was angry about taking on a task that had already been done by Hercules his ambition wanting himself to be the first one to complete it his self-preservation is obvious he did whatever it took to reach his goal of getting back at the gods from blackmailing cylina to be a spy to poisoning thalia's tree attempting to send Percy to Tartarus and so much more Luke was also very cunning and resourceful as he fooled everyone at Camp Half-Blood everyone thought he was this great leader when really he had betrayed and manipulated them all while he was really working for Kronos holding grudges is also something befitting of a Slytherin and the Lord knows Luke did this with his own father and pretty much all of the Gods it's clear that Slytherin is the house Luke belongs in Clarice LaRue Slytherin you could make the argument that Clarice was Brave like a Gryffindor as well but again I think Slytherin is the better choice her character is first and foremost classified as a bully much like Malfoy we see this in her first ever appearance when she tries to dunk Percy's head in a toilet and later during the Capture the Flag sequence where she and the other Aries children ambushed him for no reason she also checks off the box for leadership as she is the head counselor for the Aries cabin she also holds grudges especially against Percy after he defeated her father in combat and later she holds a grudge against the whole camp for not respecting the Aries cabin even refusing to help in the final battle against Kronos her Pride often gets in the way of her good sense which we've seen time and time again with many slytherins in the Harry Potter series Clarice just holds too many Slytherin trades to not put her in the silver and green Rachel Elizabeth there Ravenclaw Ravenclaw show creativity and wedge which are literally the two things I immediately think of when it comes to Rachel her artistic skill shows her vast creativity and she is some of the most witty quotes in the whole series Rachel is also very open-minded we saw this when she legitimately believed that Percy was a demigod when this would seem outlandish to a normal human this open-mindedness checks off the box for curiosity and even knowledge as she's open to learning more two of the most important traits for a Ravenclaw Hazel Levesque Hufflepuff Hazel was probably the most loyal character in the series the main trait for hufflepuffs she's so loyal to her friends and treats them like family Percy even became so reliant on her loyalty that he thought to himself it scared him but I think her loyalty is best shown when she gave up Elysium in the fields of asphidel the literal best thing to happen to you in the afterlife also she could ensure her mother did not go to the fields of punishment hard work dedication and Patience are some other Hufflepuff qualities that Hazel possesses which we see quite a bit when she learned to master manipulating the Mist Frank Zhang Gryffindor Frank zark reminds me of another Gryffindor who started off a bit weak but became one of the bravest we had ever seen after being extremely insecure Frank showed his bravery by slowly conquering his fears like trusting Hazel to carry his lifeline and minimizing his fear of fire then when he got the blessing of Mars he took on a whole Army single-handed which was sort of like his breakout Gryffindor moment after getting this his bravery daring and nerve all improved tenfold he was extremely Brave when he led the charge with a legion of ghosts and defeated hundreds of monsters and it literally said in the book that people realized at this moment he was really Brave and even more bravery was shown in the trials of Apollo series as he was brave enough to look death in the face literally planning his death with Ella something we saw another Brave Gryffindor do we saw Harry look death in the face as well Frank might have started out weak and insecure but just like Neville he turned out to be incredibly Brave and turned out to be a true Gryffindor Piper Mclean Slytherin now this one might be controversial but hear me out Piper has a tendency to be rather selfish which shows self-preservation we see this when she wanted Jason to be with her instead of going back to his old life at Camp Jupiter when she disliked Reina before getting to know her simply because she dated Jason in the past caring more about Jason losing his memories of her than his memories in general after being hit in the head with a brick and so on I was actually pretty shocked at how many examples there were of this Piper is also a bit Prejudiced and shallow which we see a ton in the way she perceives the rest of the Aphrodite cabin she tended to reject and insult femininity immediately coming to the conclusion that both her mother and the Aphrodite cabin was weak and shallow before even getting to know them her internalized misogyny and belief that women are weak and men are strong Bears a close resemblance to other Slytherin prejudices against muggleborns on top of that she also showed leadership when she eventually took over as head counselor of the Aphrodite cabin which is ironic considering how much he disliked them at first looking at all of this it seems that Slytherin is actually the unlikely but fitting house for Piper Leo Valdez Ravenclaw Leah was very intelligent like Ravenclaw which is abundantly clear when it comes to his inventing he creates all sorts of amazing and genius things things that were vital to the good guy's success and this genius inventing mind of his can also check off the box for creativity let's look at his final Act In The Blood of Olympus though this also showed off as intelligence and creativity as he essentially pulled off the impossible not only ending the fight in a creative way but being the first to make it back to Calypso's island is something which was supposed to be
