[Music] hello ladies and gentlemen and as always thank you for watching today we've been called by the customer and police department uh driver drove off the edge of the road a little bit too far with a truck and a loaded trailer just barely missing his signpost in front of the truck so we're gonna have to go help him out he's right on the interstate so this could prove interesting all right i see him her whatever the pictures didn't do it justice it looks a whole lot worse than a real person than it did in the picture always does well kpd is right there well not necessarily in the way it looks like they've given us enough room i need to see if my original assessment of bringing it out backwards is going to be the best or if it would be better for us to pick it well they said the rear tires were on the ground that's wrong they are not [Music] yeah run back and give them the headsets and then introduce ourselves to the police officer good morning sir um is it loaded it's empty oh that's easy then okay i didn't know if i i didn't know if it would be safer for me to bring you straight back that's probably the best or to lift it and bring it over sideways if you lift it and bring it over sideways it's going to drag the front a little bit we'll have to do it in two stages i think if i i think if i pull it straight back we'll be okay let me let me get set up we'll just we'll start block down to the front toe point on that and we'll run one chain he's empty the trailer's empty we'll run one of the frame hook chains down to this low hand side and try to get him pulled backwards and over at the same time so let's get these moved out and i'll get set up [Applause] i'm gonna leave the truck at an angle that way people got more visibility on me and we'll just run the like i said we'll run a snatch block right off the main hook on the front i'll boom over that way it's low it's pulling the trailer sideways and backwards at the same time you'll need a master link one of those big limb master links yep and then we'll single out the white line [Applause] yes i need one frame hook chain on that low side please oh ah yeah i'm all right just stumbled off that dang underage somebody help gavin i don't know that he knows where to hook that he might if he does that's great yeah i do above foreign all right get us d-ring or the master length on that front 10 okay [Music] what was the first gen coming single pad yup stretch some line out because i'll need almost every inch of stick i've got to get it out in front of the cab and a lot of people ask is there any safety take it up bring it right through here and grab hold that frame that's what that what that hook is for right there like that and then make a loop and let's run our cable right through here just like that okay [Music] all right yeah all right i'm gonna put a little bit of snug on the white winch make sure that i don't have to extend out some more all right who's going to guide the driver or is that going to be me yeah drivers in the truck drivers in the truck i need to watch this and i need to watch the truck are we just doing like i said earlier no i want him in neutral and i want him to wanting to get that the rear drives up as quick as he can we can always reposition if we have to and grab the front but right there i'd say on the stair tires as far as he wants to go that's why i wanted it hooked the way i did because it is leaning okay ethan are you ready somebody help me watch traffic guys brakes released [Applause] whew and him straighten it out straighten it out otherwise that fifth wheel is going to pivot on us if he doesn't straighten it out [Applause] you'll have him straighten it out i know he wants to get that tractor up but [Applause] but as the drives come up it will slowly bring the trailer down make sure it's not going to tear anything up on that front end with it turned like that up whoop here watch it grab his mud flap when you when when you pull them back like this it has a tendency to rip them off have him straighten the wheels please on what oh he did hit something okay do they know that okay thank you exactly that's that's why we're creeping it out real slow and easy the way we are okay [Music] all right having set the brakes for a minute and i'm going to slide this back end over just leave it hooked gavin set the brakes set the brakes on the trailer too [Applause] i want to bring this trailer and level it out so don't that look so much better that way until you let off of it and then it starts leaning again okay have him make well just make sure that everything stays locked i'm going to freeze pull the winches and back up and we'll give it another yep all right so i'm going to reposition a little bit oh we've got traffic control on our own oh no he's up the top of the hill he's helping us out he's actually stopping them from merging in here or he's pushing him over to that far merged lane all right watch your legs guys i'm gonna back up here yep that's that's a good thing here hold on to that please what's that don't worry about it we'll be done out of here in 15-20 minutes [Music] well somebody put me on free spool please i forgot to do that i was about ready to line pulling are we sure we're on preschool and don't act like it they see the remote where did you try to pre-spool it from oh i didn't do it though i'm going to say you kept it from the main okay sometimes if it's under tension you have to let it out a little bit all right we're gonna have to re-spool it see how it's bun bunch stuff on that side okay here we go now it's good let me just let me back up so yeah like i said we can't get too greedy with or else it'll uh start wanting to go it won't it won't come out the way we want it to yeah let me get attention on it first i've got tension on it all right are we good all right here we go watch him up front bob right now turn the wheel to the left a little bit somebody watch that mud flap make sure it doesn't get caught under that wheel i got it back here ethan you just watch him [Music] [Applause] yeah start bringing the front end back turn turn right hard [Applause] i may have to reposition one more time that's all i got unless okay well hold on i'm gonna get i'm gonna give a little bit of a buffer and i'm just gonna pull him back okay nope just i'm going to pull him straight back as long as you are listening to me as long as you are listening to me okay you understand what i'm doing just gonna do a line pull have him watch out okay dalton dalton as soon as we get him up out of here take me loose from the trailer and let him get back up on the shoulder so that we can clear this lane because we're in the driving lane all right get it out get it out get it out stop him ethan stop him ethan stop him nope give a second give us a second have him go have him go oh that was a little bit uh nerve-wracking i don't like having any mountain uh laying like that
