Sopranos Lingering Questions - Kolars, Slava, and Families After The Finale

welcome back this is the second video  in the series I call Sopranos lingering   questions and the idea isn't for me  to give you some definitive answer   it's more of an exploration and a  discussion and a starting point to   think about some of these issues nobody  knows what the future holds my [Music] call a sanitation it's another Nationwide  company yeah a caller Brothers there's some   kind of Checker ofan immigrants or some [ __ ]  these Pollocks they'll hold paper plastic and   the aluminum for 7,000 a month less than dick  he says if he could tell the Kami boss's back   in Czechoslovakia to go [ __ ] themselves he  can [ __ ] tell us oh if these Czechoslovakian   immigrants are tough enough to tell the Kami  bosses to go [ __ ] themselves they're going   to just turn around and leave when a young man  in their family disappears in the United States   that doesn't sound very aggressive to me Slava  and Valerie Slava tells Tony that he and Valerie   were closer than brothers and that he would  do anything for him but at a certain point   when Slava doesn't here for Valerie after weeks  and weeks I imagine he'd be curious and ask Tony something you're uh very emotional I would do anything for him the dead Canadian there's a theory that  this young man is actually Harpo Janice's son   we have no proof but couple of Clues we have the  fact that he's in Canada Janice has mentioned a   couple different times that Harpo is in Canada  he has the curly hair the age could make sense   but of course we don't know for sure but it  certainly would be ironic huh that that was   Bobby's first kill ordered by Tony Janice's  brother I just saw on Inside Edition how there   will be no more unknown soldiers because of DNA  now they will be able to identify every single   casualty of combat best be SM like maconi and  cheese there will be no more unknown soldiers   you know of course she's talking about war as we  traditionally think of it but as you can see Tony   was a little thrown off and it makes me think or  makes me come back to this whole DNA thing later   and I ask myself with some of these casualties of  War here what happened with that with subsequent   identify this Sky it could somehow lead back to  Janice if in fact they are related in terms of   end up decapitating and doing business with  whatever is left we know that happened to   Phil but what about the rest of them in stage  five season 6 episode 14 the second episode of   6B little Carmine tells Tony that he doesn't  want to be boss after all he decided that his   family at home was more important to him  but what about down the line after these   series of events that occur after that  Butchie and Alby were still around and   we got this other pygmy thing over in Jersey  Polly Benny little Polly Walden py who else though there's no scraps in  my scrapbook Tony's legal fate and a as are flying my hunch 80 to 90% chance  you'll be indicted the [ __ ] gun charge I get   sick when I think of it plus Interstate fraud  and if Carlo starts talking homicide was Tony   indicted and if Tony died obviously an indictment  of him would be moot but would Carlos still be   able to get leniency for his son and speaking  of Carlo and Tony let's talk some more about   the Deo family particularly poly walnuts it's a  [ __ ] Chinese fire drill over there especially   not a Carlo's abent I know I want you to skip  of that thing what about Polly what did paully   decid to do in the Deo family Jesus Christ  I don't you be pleased I didn't hand you a   diagnosis on a clap with do respect I'd like  to just mull it a little all right sure go   ahead I'm a little Biff but yeah [ __ ] with  it nice day this meeds everything Your Fate To Me Carmela hello we see that Carmela didn't want to just  stop with the speck houses after the first one   was finished we see her looking up information  about houses in Panama City Beach and then even   all the way up to the last episode we see  her looking at this brochure folder of beach houses seems like she was pretty checked  out to me when was her meeting with   the Carpenters supposed to be I guess that  was after holston's what happened then AJ [Music] suprano we know that AJ was in a  really rough place at the end of   the series after his suicide attempt  he was able to come back home and   he seemed like he was kind of getting a  little bit back into the swing of things listen I'm going to join the Army what did you sign any [ __ ] no but this  week I will I got to do a ran first ranan   there's also a theory that ranan is a mole  for the Loper family who was sent in to get   information about Tony's whereabouts or  the Deo family's whereabouts as a whole   again this isn't something that we have proof  of but there are a couple clues this uh this   poster on the wall of but Barber Shop it kind  of looks like Ranon now again just because she   was modeling and maybe her picture is there  that doesn't mean that she's necessarily a   spy for the lberi family but it does beg  the question I don't think that poster was   put there on accident but maybe it was but  then of course holston's what happened after [Music] that Meadow soprano meds comeing sep she  had to go to the doctor switch birth control at   the end of the series Meadow and and Patrick  PES are together and she's seemingly decided   that she wants to go to law school instead of  med school Med is it true what she said she's   Quinton Premed yes thank God we are so relieved  she'd have been good at it without Med always   intellectually curious even as a take but does  compassion come naturally to her patience I'm   not so sure what are you talking about and  Patrick tells her that essentially there's   a job lined up for her with his firm as soon  as she's finished with law school but that's   a minimum of three years away three years plus  studying for the bar and all of that lots of   things can change Dr melie Tony tore out a page  of the departures magazine so Dr Melfi made him   depart from her office so we know that Dr melfi  Parts ways with Tony but I wonder how she feels   about it afterward I can imagine that she feels  you know proud of herself for being able to do   that but what about a few weeks down the line a  few months down the line what if she sees on the   news that something happened to Tony would she  feel badly would she feel guilty about it the   new Big Thing these days is called psychodynamic  therapy combined with annafrel who a medication   there's a doctor in Bloomfield you could see whoa  whoa whoa whoa whoa way back in season 2 episode   1 guy walks into psychiatrist office Dr melie  tells Tony that she would never refer him to a   colleague knowing all that she knows about him so  it's interesting out here the penultimate episode   of the series she tells him that she'll refer  him to a colleague who practices psychodynamic   therapy in Bloomfield meanwhile she's dumping him  because she's convinced that she can't help him   does that mean she thinks that this colleague can  actually help him or is she just kind of pting the   ball and wait a minute you're telling me after  all this time after everything we've shared in   here you're cutting me loose just as my son  got out of the hospital for trying to kill himself since you are in crisis I  don't want to waste your time don't remain [Music] your
