Someone Remastered My Favorite Map in Ravenfield

this is my favorite map in raven field you exit this giant aircraft carrier you get on the carrier deck and you see helicopters troops running to the various aircraft sort of like in a new hope in star wars when they're everyone's run into their x-wings because the death star will be in range in five minutes and you just begin to kind of like appreciate the scale of battles in raven field as the armed forces take off the air forces take off and you look and you see a rather heavily defended group of islands also known as archipelago it map is incredible it could be better though it's only fitting though that i say this with the trumpets playing i can't make a video on raven field without the trump it's somebody by the name of sofa fitzmo one of the best modders in the business has remastered archipelago let's check it out it's like that plane has little eyes like wall-e he so the map looks almost the same in terms of its like physical layout and we're gonna use the vanilla plus weapons pack here as well oh that one looks delightful so let's see what a modernized aircraft carrier would look like in raven field oh this is totally different okay uh oh okay i was like there's gotta be like an internal ladder right wait this one goes down or you hear the sounds okay now it's pretty bare inside however look at this this is the docks and we've got new amphibious craft here they look like vietnam war like kind of patrol boats i mean we're gonna have to get some boys though right all right i've got five guys oh five guys burgers and fries i'm not sponsored by them but i really wish i was we probably have it looks like a seat for one more and now let's just kind of slow it down and kind of just take a look oh my god like the islands look a little bit more realistic right this is like if ravenfield was to maybe go a little more battlefield-esque like less low-poly low texture kind of simple and more battlefield style right so i think we've just taken the beach all right boys everybody out we've got kind of like customized vehicles the ground's totally different oh this is kind of like a bunker complex yeah you do that you keep laying down that covering fire buddy oh man we got a nice proper like bunker system so like if they were attacking the beaches guys get out of the way i'm trying to recreate a beach scene here missiles up in the air oh man yeah like the defenses here already look cooler so we're back on the aircraft carrier because i feel like it's only appropriate that we check out the rest of it right the command tower and plus i want to get a hold of a helicopter that guy literally climbed up a helicopter all right i want these guys regrouping on me because i got this pretty sweet looking transport i've got twin gunners on the side miniguns obviously wait what is that in the water right there it's a little gunboat oh that's an armored personnel carrier okay and a gunboat it almost look like like when a ship goes down the little lifeboats that they'll take you know anyway obviously one of the best ways to see the remastered archipelago is from the air oh what is that that's new too there's like hold on i gotta see this a little bit closer is that what is this right here oh it's just okay it's not like a bunker complex that goes into the ground that little concrete berm right there it's just kind of like a firing platform i guess but dude doesn't this look so much better like it'd be so much more fun to fight over this area please keep your hands and arms inside of the helicopter the pilot is me so you're probably gonna die all right pretty simple just wooden bridge we're getting lit up by small arms fire now let's fly over the little town that's near the port now the port looks nice you're gonna see some big old shipping containers some big old uh fuel bunkers as they're called a lot of anti-craft oh hello there fella don't mind me i'm trying to oh my god that missile boat looks amazing we'll have to try that out excuse me stop stop that evasive maneuvers look at this so this is the vanilla plus like missile ship whoa all right boys we're probably gonna have to bail out soon did i lose my side gunner you should be opening up right now yeah you're not doing your job are you look at the missiles coming in who is firing those they're from the missile ship oh we better not get too close then if they're shelling this beach so this is the area that i used to call like the special forces like operating base it's very simple and it just kind of looked like a forward outpost now we've got this like giant radar installation looks really cool now obviously it got hit with some like oh geez got hit with some manny armor so it almost looks like a bowling ball and this guy's trying to kill me like sir all right well everybody out please activate your parachutes why is that square you guys aren't supposed to be here all right that guy looked like he was doing a backwards cartwheel once he was getting on the bridge okay so we are moving out i got my little nine millimeter uzi a little sub machine gun there's bullets coming from somewhere more than likely the enemy team a little bit of suppression not a whole lot because what we're trying to do is make it over to this area it's called the reef and generally it was like the first spot that blue would take over look at this we got like a munitions depot got a little laptop to i don't know satellite communications possibly ow someone something jumped up and bit me so this area definitely looks cool is this oh it's not a vulcan it's an auto cannon let's check it out oh yes all right check the map try to get an idea of if we're looking at friendlier enemy planes well that thing just blew up oh that's the enemy's missile ship i've gotta try out the missile ship so it's not called the carrier it's called the assault ship and i guess like that's technically accurate right i mean obviously it's accurate but like this isn't a a true aircraft carrier per se it's almost more of like a support carrier or as the navy calls them assault ships who is firing a missile from down there oh geez now it doesn't look like we can get in to the aircraft carrier itself yet sonny jim bob you're gonna be my gunner all right we're gonna get in the bomber and you know obviously a good way to see the island not only using the helicopter oh i guess you're my co-pilot okay good dude that auto turret on the top looks really freaking cool so the areas we haven't seen yet are we're gonna do a little flyby over the enemy airfield and i do have uh a bombay coach bombay mighty ducks oh man that's that is a long time ago first things first we are gonna hit the old communications tower here boom boom boom look at that uh you know what i love a little bit of carpet bombing in the morning oh this is interesting oh i thought it was like a crane at first but it's definitely some kind of a communications tower we've got only one hanger weren't there two hangers on the old airfield one anti-aircraft battery it sure seems like you know what i dare say we might be able to take this well it was possible i'm not saying it was probable but it was definitely possible oh enemy reinforcements nice so now what we have to do is switch over to the red team aka the ravens and stay tuned for the end because i'll show you all of the mods i'm using in today's video that has been requested quite a bit so it's time that we start doing that let's use something with a scope and the tomahawk looks delightful look at how many aircraft i guess this is the airfield so it makes sense that there is a lot of aircraft at the airfield but this uh raven just seems like they're a little more advanced than vanilla plus like their weapons look so much cooler like look at that all right so now i just got to do is like win a foot race against a ton of people while holding this pistol oh god nobody run me over all right i called these guys to be in my squad because i figured the best way to tour the place is in a helicopter so we got like kind of like your little officer's bunk house you've got two barracks a fuel truck the radar installation guard tower it looks very similar although it's definitely more kind of like like this is a new kind of ford operating base i would guess is kind of the vibe that's going by the fact that we only have like one hanger and the base is pretty simple but you can see like right here where the aiming reticle is that like we have like this old structure that got destroyed lots of sandbags now if we take this place we'll be able to hold on are those friends those are friends we'll be able to use the missile boat there's like a battle going on right here oh that guy i thought it looked like his name was poop but it's just blue all right not the best at landing these things you know what i mean please engage landing sequence all right i've got to try this thing out all right so this is the missile ship lgm i wonder what that means lagrange missiles but i've got an auto cannon oh man this thing is sweet and there's only it only needs one person i guess i guess we could have the a gunner on the back oh here we go hey buddy don't try to land right now that's a bad idea the dragoon transport is destroyed the first transport is away now what we need to do is see these missiles in action oh that's like a small attack boat right there dude those are incredible now those are actually supposed to hit pretty close i was aiming like right here but i'm wondering what the heck destroyed me oh this guy in a helicopter all right deployment we're going to get that missile ship again and go on an attack run on the carrier the one thing that is unfortunate about archipelago is the fact yep buddy you you're gonna need my gunner so wait what what are you guys doing all right now i have support personnel so i should have oh god a gunner getting wrecked right here all right how does our deck unfair against a little armored personal care we've got a naval battle that was pretty s quick and easy and now we're going all right oh we're gonna try to shell that area right there and look at these missiles flying man the rocket's red glare oh you know what i think i think i have to actually hold my aiming and they're wire guided so they go where i'm aiming interesting so now let's spawn over here in the spec ops area as i like to call it although now it's sort of like i don't know like anti-air coordination we got meds grenades ammunition that is not a friend all right you know what buddy get out of here there you go we took it out no enemy troops there was one more oh there he is i think we found him he landed with a sniper rifle and just opt me so here is us defending the outer post and like with the missiles and their smoke trails it's just far more thematic vanilla plus is pretty incredible so what does it look like when my favorite map gets remastered in raven field to kind of look more battlefield-esque well this is the results the strike on the aircraft carrier them attacking our beach is just so much more thematic okay that is a friend i was about to drop him but like look at this if they were to attack it from the bridge or rather if red raven was to attack eagle defending this post it would be incredible but for whatever reason i guess it's just map balance that rarely happens oh hold on we're gonna hit somebody and kill him if it's the last thing we do man mean i'm getting hits but i'm not getting kills yet there we go long range sniping now oh what was that i have seven health whatever hit us was huge oh oh oh there's someone sniped me from way over there that's incredible so the items i have are vanilla plus weapons by we eraser we've got vanilla plus unity for this patch because apparently there's some things broken and here is the map archipelago revisited hope you guys enjoy it thanks for watching and thanks for the man the myth sofa for
