[Solo Leveling: Arise] - SKILLS & RUNES! Everything you need to know about Jinwoo & Hunters!

what's going on everybody welcome back to another solo leveling arise video first off I want to thank everyone for joining me on the live stream that was a blast man we had three hours of crazy crazy fun if you guys have not had a chance to join one of those please do I'm going to do them every night pretty much um we're killing it here in this game and I had an incredible summon session so with that being said though let's talk a little bit about why we're here and that is skills I want to go over skills and how they how they're used how they're acquire what they're all about uh and everything you need to know especially when Global does drop um so first off skills there's two different kinds of skills there's going to be sunin Wu skills and then there's going to be Hunter skills So Def they're they're different you're going to need to know that uh and they're going to be using different resources to level them up gold is going to be used throughout the entire game that does not change but the way you level the actual skills and the Scrolls required are completely different so here's what you need to know skill-wise okay so first off sunen Wu is going to learn a lot of skills throughout throughout the whole job change as job change he's going to he's going to learn new things and he's going to learn new ultimates I'm going to move my screen over here so you guys can see it you guys can see I've got two ultimates here I've got mutilate and I've got tragedy so he gets tragedy in the beginning and then when he gets into Shadow Monarch he learns mutilate okay so these are the two ultimates that you can equip now in order to level these you're going to need these Scrolls you're going to start off with white scrolls so let me show you guys a white scroll one right this is also red let me see if I have one with white scrolls this one I think we'll need white there you go okay so these can be called they're called player skill Hunter one versus Hunter skill Scrolls okay so these ones here can be used to level up regular skills now skills are going to be doing various different things you'll have to read which ones are which all the basic skills are right here all the qte skills not QT skills are trigger skills consider them trigger so whether you dodge when whenever you do Dodge you're going to be able to do Shadow step okay when when you do extreme evasion uh when you knock an opponent down with Airborne you get to do uh collapse whenever you do um sorry whenever you knock a person down you get to do collapse whenever you do Airborne you get to do death so these are very very important and critical to your success so you definitely want to have these leveled up now as for the regular basic skills these are the ones you can equip now you can always preview the skill to see what it looks like and what it does okay now with skills you're going to be able to level them up through the Scrolls but also through acquisition of getting those skills as well so I'll talk more about that shortly okay you guys can see here each skill will do certain things for example this one here causes Airborne effect but then also increases the damage from mutilate right now each of these skills will also have ruins now these ruins are ruins ruins ruins ruins uh each of these ruins will do different things for example this one here will have a spinning blade that hits the opponent makes them Airborne deals 45% against non boss damages okay or non- boss opponents this one here is a dark Elemental one you guys can see here it's it's a it's a purple one sorry it's an epic one not dark sorry it's epic uh it also does Airborne does damage 10-second cool down when defeating an enemy there's a 70% chance to reset the skills cool down which is incredible and then when you use mutilate right which is also a skill over here you'll see that shortly it'll cause it to do 20% more damage stacking up to two times so this is an incredible move to have if you're running mutilate okay there's also a problem with that so skills are going to be based off of elements different different moves Etc now this for example crushing blow is a break skill now these are going to be very very important right break skills are a way to break the boss's bars but not every boss has a as a break bar so sometimes you don't even need to equip these you just need to know when you need to use them so I would set up various different formats of skills based on remember you can do three different versions of s uh sorry Jin Wu skills um so this one here is a break one if you put wind element into there it does break but also knock down but also applies a shield which is actually pretty useful this is a light damage one which deals damage equal to 20% of your attack every uh 3 seconds so that's also a little bit of a DPS increase right there this is a dark one but also deals heavy damage and stuns the opponent after you Counterattack so you can see here how all these skills are going to change based on what you want to use so let me break this down for you guys the best skills in terms of break damage are going to to be the following okay are going to be crushing blow are going to be where's the one death dance here which is one of my favorite ones personally I use this one more than anything else because it deals 45% more damage to Elite monsters and bosses so for those who are struggling with bosses guys this is the bad boy you definitely want to use now for normal moves my favorite one is the following two this one here which is vertical Arts right and also mutilate mutilate is probably my favorite especially if you get this epic one here it will provide you water damage but also also does frostbite which allows you to make the opponent freeze which also deals 50% damage to the opponent for 3 seconds for 30 seconds right so a very very powerful DPS increase and those are the skills I'd go with now in regards to ultimates you definitely want to go with mutilate when you get it cuz it just does way more DPS you guys can see 3,000 versus 4,000 500 and now let's talk about how to get these skills okay there's various different ways to do it first off if you go to your inventory you may have a couple of these boxes kicking around I think I'm all out of them so let's see if I can find one for you in the shop let's see let's see let's see special these one right here there we go these ones okay these lucky ruin chest you guys have an opportunity to get yourself ruins if they're very rare by the way if you get an epic one you're you're set if you get a rare one that's fine as well to you guys can see these have an opportunity to give give you those but at the same time you're going to get these lower tier Mana crystals now these Mana crystals are very important because they will allow you to do a few different things when you go to the crafting section you're going to be able to fuse skills okay so these Mana crystals right here are going to be used sorry Rune fragments not Mana crystals Rune fragments this is what you're looking for these can be found in various different places so in order to get these you can see the view right here 2% chance to get yourself epics and then you get like a 98% chance to get a rare right so what you do is you simple fuse fuse like that and see what you get bam we got ourselves one of these now because I already have count countering break you're going to see the level increase instead right there you guys go so instead of using a scroll I can do this now after you do a few of these when you get three of these you can also try to go for a skill Rune when you have three of them just sitting around and you can actually draw 35% chance to get yourself um another epic skill okay and then eventually you're going to be able to go to this point here where you're going to be able to use various different uh ruins to get legendary ones which are extremely extremely powerful so let's fuse this one here as well and see what we get here there you go this is a blessing Stone by the way so it's completely different we'll talk more about those on a different video okay so that's that's it for uh sunin wo's sunin wo's uh skills now for your Hunter skills it works a little differently they already come predetermined with their own skills there's no changing their skills but you can level their skills up now their skills use different resources they have Hunter Hunter skill scroll tokens one and two for example this is a level two one and this is going to be us I think also level two see if I can find a level one do I have any level ones I think I don't I don't have any level ones from left so level two ones obviously you're going to use blue ones level ones just like uh Sun Jin mes are going to use the white ones and these are very important because they are going to increase the damage quite a bit and you definitely want to collect these now these can be found in various events for example to get purple ones right now is is what's going on in this event here right if I go to the the gate exploration event you guys can see here uh the reward is going to be one of these four of these actually so there you go skill scroll these are the highest ones you can get they're scroll three I think they start off to level 9 okay so that's the beauty of getting yourself these Scrolls and that's how you end up do it now a good place to acquire these if you are going to stay free to play I believe there's a mining section here that you can exchange for a few of them so let's go to The Exchange shop for a sec here we go so you guys can see here this is the this is the the drawing one so you can get skill Scrolls here you guys can see one and two I got those already the weapon Material Exchange also I believe has some there you guys go so when you guys melt your when you Salvage your weapons you can also buy them here very important to do that I would highly recommend doing so I got to actually buy two of these um but you guys can see here it's only for San jinu there's not there's nothing else for anybody else right so keep that in mind so there's that one there Mana Crystal exchange I believe these ones have nothing no they don't and then battlefield of time I believe also has uh nothing here for that there you guys go so that's just more for weapons so there you guys go so definitely the weapon Material Exchange sh and the celebration coin exchange shop has some in there you guys can go in there you can also get random ones from Gates as well uh anytime you attack Gates you can get up to blue or white ones um so there's quite a few opportunities to get these and also you can sometimes collect them from hard mode and and regular mode if if the stage allows it to drop but that's essentially how skills work so you definitely want to acquire these from fusing fusing and crafting are be the the best ways to do it so absolutely guys focus on that collect those Rune fragments put them together and hopefully you build the skills you want read the skills every skill and every rune will be changed according to that ruin so for example that death dance was just 45% more damage on bosses for those who are struggling to meet timelines that one might be a really good one to aim for right all right guys this
