dining room are now enjoying appetizers wow looks gorgeous it's really good though tast we panicked when we knew we were about to be done we panicked we had seven Wellington we had everything ready we Panic same way we put out the first check you got to put out the last checks I was able to channel my anger andnot take it out on my team they should perform better and I think that I should perform special event we are cooking for a wedding reception well weddings a once in A- lifetime event we want to make it special so the pressure is on now bride and groom will be married and they'll be celebrating at Hell's Kitchen each team will need to create one appetizer one fish on tray one meat on tray each team has a budget of $100 yes sir You' got 30 minutes are you ready off you go with only 30 minutes go go it's crucial that the chefs work together do Lam beef to create a great tasting menu that will be appropriate for an entire wedding party what do you guys think of duck have time to cook I think we should go for lamb I like lamb I think we should go with the duck is that going to be feasible for all those people for the wedding reception how much is this these yellow peppers are way expensive I know how to shop you know I grew up in the ghetto so don't just go in there and grab you know the thing that looks good or has the best label save that money we only got $30 left door and as a result of the tasting challenge the menu will include dishes from both teams guys how are you doing your potato thing cuz they have to be the same how long you bake it for and on what temperature um probably 350 probably or you are rock could be trying to tell me to do it the wrong way but it has to chill first then we have to bake it no you chill after the BAC and get it in the oven now go Melissa kept asking about these potatoes she's over complicating telling me what to do and I don't see how that makes any sense she's tripping over potatoes and carrots I'm going to hurt you today you know that because I'm too smart and I'm giving you a hard time if Melissa was on my team a very dark side of me would come out don't ask me no more question while Rock and Melissa may never get married the bride and groom are about to exchange their vows dear family and friends we are gathered together here in the presence of God and one another only an hour away from opening Chef worse place to be today I'm looking for everything that's possible to be recycle from every garbage bin inside this restaurant I've never seen anything inside of a garbage can that should be taken out I might find it's a little difficult I can guarantee within 1 hour you'll find something Chef Ramsey tells us that you know they get to go to InTouch Magazine and we have to dig through some [ __ ] of leftover ingredients you've all got 30 minutes to do that are you ready yes chef let's go for today's challenge Chef Ramsey has given the teams identical trays of leftovers which include white wine spaghetti vegetable stock beef and chicken chicken stock we have lobster heads we can make them nice Lobster what the [ __ ] are those each team has just 30 minutes to decide how to best utilize The Leftovers to prepare one appetizer and two Entre I'll take chicken okay you need to get that ASAP you want to take the the beef of the fish I'll do the uh I'll do the fish first thing I thought was contemporar homemade to Gourmet Scott and Maran please now in front of you you've got five dishes to choose from I want you to pick a dome each look at what you've got in terms of American classic and which dish is theirs there we are the tasting begins with Rock's Trio of gourmet spaghetti started with my spaghetti my mother nodded her head she liked it that was reassuring wow this is something else happy happy very happy the mothers backs were to us so we couldn't really hear who they voted for you know you on edge I was on edge [Music] so we have an outright winner with all three votes from three serious [Music] critics most favorite dish congratulations Jen well done I can't believe that they all pick my dish that means that me being here is not a joke that I do have some Talent you know I just need to really feed it and nurture it I'm so pleased I can't get blamed for this one I love oh don't up my mic it just great to even you know hug her and you know she really uh she will have 30 minutes to create a dish that represents their signature [Music] style rock is making his surf and turf fried chicken and crab cakes it's very important to win this challenge I took a chance with a combination that most people aren't accustomed to I definitely think it's important to create your own identity when it comes to food Bonnie is preparing her shrimp and lobster pasta 5 4 3 two one and stop Rock and Bonnie's signature dishes will now be evaluated by seven VIP judges whoever receives the most votes will win this challenge okay let's begin with our first judge please ladies and gentlemen Sean Griffin executive ship at Caesar's [Applause] Palace it's a rendition on fedini Alfredo and then I've got the qest shrimp on top there very tasty thank you chicken and a crab cake correct yes sir I'm going to say the uh he wear shrimp with the fetuccini One Nail bunny shrimp was perfect perfectly cooked okay our next judge Gerald Chen executive chef at the mansion house MGM right uh let's get down to business please please please please I find fetuccini Alfredo a little Bland a little boring so I thought just adding a little burn in there I love space stop trying to charm him yes he's a chef he doesn't do charm Bonnie was definitely trying to uh charm the chefs everything she does is a strategy to to help her win [Music] everything this is very unique I'm going happy to say Michael's opening restaurant in Los Angeles called tattoo that's right excellent you guys nervous a little bit yeah littleit you've been here before I know I know emphasize with me I'm down 3 to one stop trying to manipulate the judges roong Ro's a good schmoozer and you know he was trying to sell his dish Rock I think I'm going to have to go with the chicken with the chicken Bonnie you know I won the challenge tonight it definitely gave me a confidence boost and I think it may have hurt Rock's confidence just a little bit and commac for rock it's over but it's not over all along I've always said i' rather win a service then I would a challenge I don't want to walk away tomorrow the loser I really don't this this was not easy at all this was hard this really been a changing experience for me this is the biggest moment in my career I have to win I feel like I've already won I've been waiting for this for a long time I always have known what I'm capable of but sometimes you doubt yourself you got that killer in you but you don't know how to finish all Brock I think rock is trying to shake me up he's trying to use psychological warfare but I've prepared as much as I eliminated chefs have returned oh my God wondering like you know I was happy to see those people come through the door I thought that some people might have animosity or you know have an attitude but very very interesting directed in the right way Vinnie's a good soldier high stress situations with Ramsey yelling he doesn't perform that well but I'm a good director I work with it very very interesting indeed okay Bonnie final selection who is it uh my final selection is Julia I want my girls back good on a personal level I would have to say that I'm rooting for rock Julia I think is go over the menu first I am happy with my team I know what their strengths are their weaknesses are so I'm confident that I can uh that I can win you see already with my menu really good flavorful food do you know what stations you want us on up yes Rock knows how to push us and and how to how to build us up and break us down and the only concern about The Rock's venue is that you know haven't made it before priorities as far as prep I think we should make a big ass prep list yes immediately this is Rock's day and all we're doing is just cramming trying to get how Rock wants his methods and his techniques we got to do the best we can for Rock as construction of the restaurants continues Bonnie and rock are focused on getting their teams up to speed all right let's move let's move time's restaurants are still behind schedule but right now Rock and Bonnie have something else on their minds impressing Chef Ramsey with their menus Chef Ramsey turns his attention to rock menu which features a starter of crispy chicken breast and crab cake over jasmine rice a pan roasted Prime ribeye and for dessert a vanilla bean milkshake with double chocolate chunk cookies explain to the ri ey uh pan it sauces a morel uh mushroom sauce say very tender very tasty uh beautifully cooked T and tough this is the dish from Vegas right yes really important you taste that instantly yeah the garlic in there that's far too much is that supposed to be like that or is that just over sight a little bit but not not overpowering explain this one this is called uh milk and cookies just traditional home style milkshake mhm uh tastes nice but it's very clumsy as a dessert soften up a little bit yeah look at martini glass you don't need to serve a substantial milkshake that size e okay good any questions no not at all I'm ready good thank you overall Chef Ram was uh pretty critical but I didn't take that as like disappointment all of the things he suggested we fixable Bonnie's menu is quite sort of elegant and vibrant and something that is not too weighted you come over to Rock's kitchen and it it's substantial and it's very robust two completely different opposite menus a ladies menu light Balan fragrant and quite dainty to something quite sort of rich and Sumptuous heavy but what they' both got to do is drive that kitchen from the first table coming in with the construction finally complete rock is ready to present his restaurant to Chef Ramsey [Music] First Impressions and walking in the dining room it's uh it's [Music] elegant wanted to have a bit of Elegance but Comfort home no salt pepper on the tables uh no not at all you'd like to think this seasoned properly when it comes out of the kitchen sure as hell hope so good I mean I think it's elegant it's very rich very Sumptuous and uh it's very smart are you happy with the way your dining room turned out I am I'm very hot it was nice walking through my restaurant with Chef ramsy it was a confidence booster for me going into service thank you right now I'm just solely focused on the food and it's just time to grind okay Bonnie with me two seconds please uh Rock 2 seconds please okay this is it have been your first pick my first pick probably would have been Jen Jen on a Cook's level has impressed me the most I was so shocked when Rock said that I'm so glad that he said that and I'm I feel so good you know so honored Josh I appreciate what you tried to do tonight but uh I wouldn't been left with the last pick and uh I probably wouldn't have Josh on my [Music] team kind of pissed off because you come back it's the final night you know you want to do your best and if I'm getting shot down whatever I know I know how to cook I'm very good at it good well done to you both that's the strongest I've seen you both perform you both completed a fully booked service every appetizer every entree every dessert well done I think I did a a good job I'm proud of myself that I came this far well done I'm just proud of myself but I have not won so say probably 45 more prayers and uh hopefully I bring in the win tough one for me this one because for me the most important thing about both of your performances you didn't give up you both came out with great leadership qualities are you ready for my decision yes sure yes sure I'm not cuz I'm now going to study the customer comment cards
