So.. I BOUGHT AN ABANDONED LOG CABIN MANSION!

[Music] what's up everyone i'm back with another video this is the follow-up video to the log cabin mansion one that i posted about a week and a half or two weeks ago you guys killed that video keep watching it's doing really good it's like my best video i've posted in like probably a couple months but yeah that video is flying up i think it's almost had like a half a million views already but anyway in that video i mentioned that i knew more about this house and in the comments on that video all you guys are wondering kyle is this house for sale did someone buy it do you ever consider buying abandoned house or do you ever consider buying a house like this well anyway i told you i knew more about this house so we're gonna go ahead and go back to this house and let me explain it all right everyone so here we are in this pretty heavily wooded area this is the driveway behind me um this is the log cabin probably by reading the title you guys can understand this is a different kind of video um yeah i've never posted anything like this before but but here is the house behind me this is that abandoned log cabin that i filmed that did so well i actually purchased this house so this is a first time home and i actually bought this house people comment all the time kyle do you would you ever move into one of these old places and fix it up and i always had mixed feelings about it because i don't know if i would want to buy like a really really old house to fix it up i think this house was built in 2000 so this is a pretty new house it just wasn't maintained that well but it's on 20 acres of land and it could easily be renovated so that was the news about it i'm so stoked on it me and my brother actually went ahead and purchased this house i do have an older brother if you go over to my second channel which is like more of like vlogs there's only a couple videos on there but i'm gonna start posting on there it'll be linked below you've probably seen them in my videos there's so much to be done here this is a detached two-car garage and then remember all the cages that i showed you guys because they had like goats and stuff uh the previous owners well this is all ours now so i'm not sure exactly what we're gonna be doing with this i think all these cages are gonna go gonna open up a lot of the land because as you can see you can only see about maybe an acre of land that's cleared we're super excited on this i kind of want to walk around and just show you guys a little bit more of it i mean you guys seen the other video probably so this is a detached like office building there's about five acres that way of land about 10 acres that way of land and probably like another is five or six something like that over there so here's here's that office building you can see it's pretty much this place is abandoned basically i don't even know if this spot was ever actually finished this in here but yeah guys this is the house i would never be able to obtain something like this without you guys watching the video so i'm forever grateful here's another shot of the land some lane you can see obviously pretty wooded you know it's a lot of trees which is nice to have privacy but you do want it to be opened up a pretty good bit so you can at least see some of your land but yeah if you guys want to see more of the cages and uh some more of the land and stuff like that it would be in my previous video but i'm going to wrap around real quick but i really just want to go ahead and show you the house that we're going to totally redo start to finish i'm going to be posting like renovating videos as like a side series on this channel as well don't get me wrong i'm hoping to have one renovating video a week and maybe one or two abandoned videos a week so it could be like multiple a few times a week i'll be posting on kyle mcgran this channel i might not have showed this in the last video where all those bushes are that's actually a small like pond right there which is cool i showed you in the last video you know the house definitely needs work it was such a good deal and still such a cool house for the land and the property tax and everything that we decided to just jump on this so for all you guys who are mentioning how cool this house was that you would live in it uh i guess the gig's up we did we purchased this house we actually purchased it before i even filmed that video that's why i was mentioning everything so when you come in right here this is a bedroom with a closet that goes right out onto the porch here's a bathroom i showed you before the power does work but there's no light bulbs in there um here's the main section that everyone was so uh thrilled on huge ceilings exposed like beams like that clearly outdated but come on it's not that bad this could be looking brand new new kitchen will be coming in how cool is this all this stuff is uh the stuff that we found was just left behind here that same deck that's the front door the same deck that starts right there wraps all the way around back outside to almost the front door again so the whole place has a wraparound deck which is really cool it definitely needs to be fixed like restored most this place needs to be restored it's just really outdated but everything inside isn't that bad some things you just got to get rid of but look at these ceilings this is my favorite part like in that loft area up there which is another bedroom storage and bathroom some big windows right there nice fireplace we've got two of them and when you come out here you just have you know 10 acres that way that will hopefully be cleared out you know maybe like landscaping but yeah guys i'm gonna keep uh showing off like the new spot but let me know i'm serious i want to be doing at least one renovating video per week maybe in the beginning it might be two weeks just before everything starts going but we're gonna like start totally revamping this place knock down a ton of trees so you can see the yard get some landscaping either redo the whole outside of the house or you know uh strip it and restain it redo the whole inside so let me know in the comments down below single room so that's the original room we came out of this is a basement that's just a closet this is another bathroom i think these lights work yep obviously we need new bathrooms these are i mean it's not bad it's just car it's just outdated like the gold like that anyway this is another bedroom this is one that's right on the front porch and look at that long driveway you guys can't even really see it but that's going to be obviously paved look it's a stone driveway it's cool seeing the log cabin like this i'm usually not a big fan of a log cabin but this spot was just so cool with the land it was on it was just like you had to get it it was in here just another small closet house is kind of laid out weird just basically everything all the bedrooms that one that one the loft and the front door it's just like the right side of the house is just like not almost like cluttered with like rooms and stuff just to show off this room it's like everything faces this open area which is cool because you have your kitchen multiple doors to the deck almost essentially like a great room or living room and like another little seating area let's go ahead and walk up the steps i would like i don't know how it would work but that bedroom's right there it'd be cool if you can kind of like blow out this wall and this wall if it was possible to kind of open that up and have like an exposed staircase going up so many ideas that we have for this spot look at this wood look at these railings guys how cool would it be to like take out like this little section or like this little section or put like two swinging doors here and just have a big fire pole you could slide down every single morning something you guys probably don't see on camera because he's not in my videos too often my brother and i are actually very close and it's gonna be us living here redoing this place so it's going to be exactly how we want it maybe have like a pole barn that we can build outside and have like some quads and stuff inside imagine just waking up every single day and like if you had people stay over there's couch down there or something we had the kitchen you can wake up and see whoever is in your house you can see pretty much the whole house besides a couple bedrooms when you come up the steps there's the bedroom there and it's kind of like an open area that's a closet and that's like a closet it almost looks like that's like a pool table light but when we moved in or when we first came here to look at it there was actually a pool table in the basement so i don't think that's one but this is another bedroom this one's pretty cool this is another closet obviously a little bathroom here and a smaller shower but i mean you know it's a shower kind of cool i mean just like stuff like this like look at this log you also get a view of both buildings over there but hopefully this is a house you know you just have like all my youtube buddies all my buddies my brother's friends just come over hang out at we're young do some fun stuff let me know in the comments down below if you have any ideas or suggestions to do to this house i'm gonna start using my second channel for all like vlogging but guys there's gonna be so many videos here this is in the perfect location let's go ahead and finish the tour and go into the basement so yeah guys you can just come down the steps right here this is like a storage area and the ceilings are lower and obviously it's just just like the rest of the house it's very outdated there was a pool table here you guys can probably see the feet of the pool table um it's like a pellet burner like a wood burning stove i'm not sure which one it is i've never even opened it i think it's a pellet burner though that's like another storage closet it's literally just a concrete closet um but yeah this is that's a bilco doors that go outside which i'm not sure are staying or not but the basement's actually pretty big the ceilings are just lower but you can actually knock this out and bring it up a bit it's just washer and dryer panel and this is like a little storage closet it had like old has old liquor bottles look at these lacrosse sticks like it looks like somebody made those some old information there that i don't want to show because i don't want to expose the address but yeah i mean pretty much a normal basement an unfinished basement that we could have endless opportunities to do stuff in but yeah guys let me know um if you have any suggestions we're literally open to anything at first he didn't even know if he was going to keep this house or like build a new one my brother loves the log cabin look and he's convinced he can make this into like a re i mean it already is a beautiful home like a brand new looking log cabin home which i'm stoked on obviously i leave it all up to you guys thank you so much for watching all my videos and the constant support but yeah this answers the question of kyle would you ever buy a house like that and fix it up and i feel like there's going to be such cool videos here endless content possibilities i'm very curious to see what this house is going to look like towards the end with a brand new kitchen all new floors restained outside landscaping i mean it's going to be like a very beautiful home this is if you exit this door on the deck it is pretty weak you guys can see it's beat up pretty good but um look at this though you can tell in its heyday it was probably a really nice log cabin and on so much land it's so quiet out here you could do anything look at all these beans too we're thinking about blowing this wall out maybe if that's possible and maybe having the kitchen come out with no wall but come out over until there just so it's not just this little square right here here's the front deck that's next to the bedroom but yeah everyone here's the back of the house it would look so nice if this porch and everything the deck was totally redone it was abandoned just beat up sitting here and now it's about to have a total makeover but yeah guys like i said i took some drone shots i'm gonna include some cinematic shots this is just like a little video that i figured i had to post after seeing that that video was um doing well and everyone was curious to what was going on we did we purchased this house we're going to start renovating it it'll
