Smoke free tepee?! Do these 2 things to get rid of the smoke!

hi guys my name is Lily and today I want to show you how you can make your teepee smoke-free stay tuned [Music] okay the plan today is that I want to build two beds here and here and before I do that I want to take an internal from the outside of the teepee and then the wood burns a little bit more efficient so that's the plan of the day and what I have with me for digging is this new shovel by five Troy and actually this is one of the best travels that I've ever seen and let's do a quick unboxing the company five choice also a sponsor of today's video thank you very much this is the bag that the shovel comes in it's pretty sturdy and it's made of this very thick I believe it's called cut or raw material comes with this hanger and with belt loops here you can also attach this back to your book sack and then you can open up this bag and then you can access the shovel and the handle of the shovel you can also just carry the shovel like this it comes with a second chief so you can carry it on your belt and this is the handle here which is pretty awesome because as you can see it comes with this emergency blade here it comes with a can opener and with a small saw blade and then there's a second compartment inside of the handle if you take that out you have a fire steel which is working pretty good and then if you screw out the fire steel you have a signal whistle it's pretty loud so yeah that's quite an awesome product you got this nice paracord here and if you screw it all together [Music] you have this nice comfortable handle and this is the shovel when it's folded and then you can adjust the shovel in several different positions like this like that or upright like this it's pretty sharp actually so you can use this as a small hatchet as well that's really one of the coolest shovels that I've ever seen in my life so and now it's time to try it out yeah this will travel is really awesome and if you're interested in getting one you can find the link in the description of this video [Music] [Music] okay so here I have these old tiles they are from an old barn and I think they're about 70 years old so they consist out of 100% of K and they are environmentally friendly so now I want to build this air tunnel from the fireplace to the outside of the teepee [Music] [Music] the entry tunnel is done and next I want to build a second tunnel which goes from the fireplace to the outside of the teepee again I just hit a stone accidentally with the shovel but nothing happens actually it didn't damage the blade here at the side so the steel after shadow is pretty tough [Music] [Music] [Music] good now let's make a fire and see if I have done everything right I want to make a little bit of kindling and for that I'm going to use the shovel normally you should not mistreat your survival tools but they just want to make a destruction desk let's see what the shovel can take [Music] [Music] shovel is holding up pretty good so far it's very stable [Music] [Music] the carving knife is pretty sharp I have to say so I can make very good find kindling and tinder [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] the smoker gets poured into the tunnel here [Music] huh that's funny here the smoke is also entering the fireplace so that's funny because the exit here is higher than the fireplace but still the smoke gets pulled to the inside maybe because of the draught of the fire and maybe because the teepee is so high and the teepee draws more air into the into the hole up there so that's pretty funny okay here at the ground it's actually pretty nice yeah fresh air but when you are standing up there's quite a lot of smoke in the air so I can't stand so the next thing that we have to do is we have to set up the umbrella which creates another draught effect another chimney effect and then you should get smoke STP [Music] I'm just gonna go and throw this for a brunch on the fire to create more smoke [Music] [Music] so many I'm sitting here on the bench I can breathe normally I don't have to cop from the smoke and then ascend up there's a little bit of smoke in the area because the in line of stops here right so there's a little bit of smoke up here I'm gonna sit down everything is good okay so I'm very happy with the new setup of my teepee the alterations have worked out and especially the in line a most important the air channels are not so important but I like having them now and yeah I want to thank you guys for watching please don't forget to check out the shovel in the description of this video don't forget to follow me on Facebook Twitter Instagram and stay tuned till next time [Music]
