josephine macaroni baking anderson amen amen sister sister anderson show enough can cook some macaroni and cheese happy birthday uh sister amnesty uh claire hassell will celebrate her birthday on september the 20th uh sister josephine anderson will celebrate on the 19th and sister claire hassell will celebrate on the 20th doc adams jr will celebrate on september 23rd harriet tucker and kendall benjamin on september 24th and sister annie lee eubanks will celebrate her birthday on september the 25th happy birthday to all of you and we wish you many many more oh we pray and hope that you will keep the sims family and your prayer deacon mitch sims um lost his brother-in-law uh just last week and we praying much uh for the continued success of the family uh the tucker family of sister sarah tucker tallbert sister of linda benjamin uh would have me to say to you thanks very kindly for everything that you all did for them and that you showed them during uh this time of their bereavement we're keeping that family uh in much prayer congratulations and happy anniversary to the saint mark sanctuary choir musical choir masquerade whatever you might want to call it we call it now the sanctuary a choir of saint mark baptist church i don't recall what year it is but i know they've been singing for a long long time so at this time we'll be favored with a selection during collection version and it reads like this simon simon indeed satan has asked for you that he may sift you as wheat but i have prayed for you that your faith should not fail after a selection we want to talk [Music] we are [Applause] [Music] amen never defeated jesus warned peter that the enemy was focused on him and was going to attack him and do his best to take him down if jesus had stopped there that probably would have been a problem but jesus goes on to say but i have prayed for you that your faith should not fail jesus was saying in other words the enemy is coming against you to distract you to discourage you to get you off course but don't you worry i'm praying for you and i'm going to strengthen you i'm going to keep you from being defeated i'm the god who overrules i was talking with someone just the other day who is newly married and i asked the proverbial question how is the married life their response was to me rev the devil doesn't like it when you get married oh my how true that is uh what's good about this is that the person obviously recognized from day one what the devil was trying to do they didn't sit back and just let it go they took it to god in prayer you see when your faith doesn't fail and when your faith stays intact you can conquer anything you will come out on top with victory every time and never be defeated my dear brothers and sisters when life gets tough and things come against you you have an advantage you're not on your own jesus is at the right hand of the father right now praying for you so that your faith will not fail it's great to have people praying for you friends standing in faith but when you have the rhythm savior praying for you you will never be defeated the door of the church is open perhaps there's someone who'd like to come now and give the passage of virtual hand and guard your sincere heart if you come if you contact us rest assured we will make something be delivered on your behalf let us bow together gracious god our father we thank you that we are under the open windows of heaven we thank you that you are pouring out blessings so that we won't have room enough to receive we believe and we declare that you are going to rain down favor good breaks and creativity on our behalf and for that we say thank you dear god we ask that you bless the saint mark church bless the tucker family bless the sims family lay your hands on the sister rebecca western lay your hands on mother many more and dear god we thank you for the saint mark sanctuary choir keep them singing keep them holding on to their faith and we'll be so ever careful to give you the glory the honor and all of the praise in jesus name amen amen once again happy anniversary to the saint mark sanctuary choir and we're looking forward once
