Smallant tries Minecraft Skyblock

uh i was gonna go to bed early but then i had this idea i was reminded of something from my childhood i was thinking about minecraft as i always do and i was like huh you know what i haven't played in a while that i tried when it first came out was minecraft the sky block map and i thought about it and i realized with the recent updates to skyblock you can do with the recent updates to minecraft with the recent updates to minecraft you can do amazing things now so i think what we're going to do is i'm going to revisit minecraft skyblock and i'm going to take it to its absolute limits i have formed a document off stream of the goals that i will be pursuing in minecraft skyblock let me read out some of the things that i want to achieve in minecraft skyblock if you don't know what that is it's a minecraft island in the void that has dirt a single tree a lava bucket and a piece of ice and with just that i am fairly sure that it is technically possible to get full diamond armor perfect enchantments on everything a trident a totem of undying a level 4 beacon and a bunch of other things and i have broken it into phases so have you seen the original map goal list no i've made my own goal list i have broken this into phases and we are gonna start phase one today here we go here are the goals phase one i'm going to start phase one today of minecraft you can see all the other stuff these are what i want to accomplish today cobble generator enter the nether make a general mob farm carrot potato melon pumpkin wheat chicken we might actually be able to make it to phase two already but as you can see the goals get a little bit a little bit here you go here here are the phase goals i'll probably make a command for this later make it look a little nicer so we're just gonna start with the bare minimum and do it are you gonna play on a server no i'm gonna download the map i have not downloaded the map yet though all right so let's minimize this i'm gonna open up minecraft 1.18 and uh i'm gonna find skyblock the original skyblock map and download it sky block map minecraft in 118 sky block minecraft maps um do you play mr fruit yes i lost one to two all right here we go [Laughter] so that is the goal what is skyblock you'll see in a moment uh map download download minecraft map i know there was an issue before where minecraft skyblock was um this is version 2.1 i skyblock must be converted play converting world is converting in the background want to get a version that's accessible for one point 18.1 ah whatever my god oh does this completely ruin all of my original intention of the map this is sky block though you start with ice in a lava bucket let's let's get the map that isn't in this biome we're never also going to hit the mainland i'm always if we have ever reached the mainland i'm going to delete it charger thanks to the tier one uh so let's sky block map 1.18 skyblock shop no sky block map no snow i would like to make it so it's not the snow version because literally what is the mainland so they manually deleted everything for like a thousand blocks but it's only a thousand but it looks like skyblock 4.1 sky lock 4.1 just like the old skyblock but a little more no i don't want a little more we're gonna destroy everything that isn't supposed to be there fly around with an elytra no i don't want to no you're not supposed to be able to get the nitra yeah i literally i just want exactly what's on this world the original without having it being a snow biome because snowy plains is awful can anyone download this world and just move it over out of a snow biome is that possible or just change the seed 4.1 but it gives me extra items i don't want any extra items i want exactly what the og had in the correct biome what do you even do with this how do you do anything you'll see i'm pretty sure that at the end of it all you can change the biome with a world editor can you check the og items into the void yeah but the first time i open anything i want to do it throw extra items into the void i bet we can just change the world seed right and that would change the biome correct create void world make an island you're good that's true actually yeah you know what we could do we could just create our own we could create a super flat void world oh but here's the thing we need we need certain structures to appear like like uh we need it to be a regular world to have like which houses and stuff because vordworld doesn't have any spawns the sand is floating yes are you gonna go around the nether though exactly yeah it has to be like custom made are you a pokemon tournament yeah we got kicked out i was too good so they kicked me out because they didn't know i was this good yeah this in 4.1 it's like um tropical fish strapped coral fans and the wither drops ancient debris like bro no i don't want any of that bs i want original what's wrong with it being snow i i like i wanted to be original skyblock no modifications in an original skyblock you do not start in a snowy plains biome i just want to get in emily thanks for the six ninja remove the data packs no cuz yeah right now my water would just freeze back to ice and then we just die recent final youtube channel glad you like it because it's awful here i'm just gonna try something really quick what if i go into my worlds folder can i just modify the seed is that possible so the seed is just different it has to regenerate everything the biome is always a thing oh wait there's this version but it has a couple added vanilla strips for some reason yeah i don't want it to have added structures that's stupid does anyone know how to modify minecraft worlds just to nuke everything that isn't in the original we'll just like build build it really quick download the world folder put it into your world i don't know what that means world edit is a thing wait crafty boss says he can whip one together yeah can you get the original and just nuke like crappy boss might be saving us here it's so warm this room is so i'm gonna open a window and we might be able to get the original as it's supposed to be he says i'll grab 4.1 delete the data pack remove any blocks past the original map thank you craftyboss is saving us again isn't cold in canada i'm gonna open a window it's only like minus seven degrees or something he said it's gonna take like five minutes so he says it's gonna take five minutes perfect so again i'm gonna show you guys what our overall goals for this little thing are all right we're gonna start phase one today what what's phase one you ask well here's phase one boom phase one goals are obviously cobble generator enter the nether just general mob farms carrot potato melon pumpkin wheat chicken expand the island phase two goals i don't i think phase one we can complete in a day probably but phase two is going to take a little bit longer we need to find a fortress location we need to purify a zombie villager find a jungle biome find a snowboard biome create a honey farm make a piglen training facility slime farm maybe just a building block farm so that i can just like leave on overnight we wake up with ten thousand blocks phase three goals a villager trading post an iron farm a kelp farm a wood farm automatic a wither skeleton farm and a blaze farm is another one block as well yeah nether is a single little tiny cube fortress location makes it so blazes can spawn on blocks that exists there uh phase four a gold farm a witch farm a guardian farm full diamond tools and armor perfect enchantments on everything and then the end game goals we might achieve a few of these along the way obtain a nautilus shell a flowering azalea a block of copper a block of lapis six types of potions get another lava bucket a trident a totem of undying and a level four beacon we'll probably add to these goals as we go we're starting phase one are you going to do dupes if we can somehow duplicate tnt maybe but the thing is sand is incredibly hard to get there is a way to get it but it is technically very very very like you can get it in like the very small amounts you can do primed tnt do you need coral to do that i don't know but we're gonna do that crafty says it's gonna take another minute or two we'll see zed one romco so yeah we will be fighting the wither in this is gonna be a once a week thing i think this i don't think i'm ever gonna add this to the schedule what i'll probably do is if i ever have free time and just wanna play minecraft this is what i'm gonna do it's not gonna ever be on the schedule i'll just like at streams in the discord and be like hey we're working on this that's so funny crafty i forgot to world at it as a mod so i'm legit just starting up a minecraft server to do the changes uh so we're actually gonna do this yeah the weather will explode your island and nev you can never respawn alive well then we better freaking prep so this is kind of uh you guys have been asking for a minecraft 1.18 let's play here's my version what's the difference between a beacon and a level 4 beacon a level 4 beacon requires a 136 ore blocks like iron blocks gold blocks emerald blocks it requires a little over 100 of those and then a finished beacon which requires glass obsidian and another star white tournament still in the tags i don't know structures don't spawn in the void but they technically still kind of exist it's a hundred isn't it a hundred i'm not sure it's like two stacks in 36 or something i don't get it do you play in a regular world that has biomes but is replaced with air yes basically what this map is is they've created a little l-shaped island and then they have deleted everything else the biomes exist but the blocks have been deleted structures exist but the blocks have been deleted [Music] ogv we really kicked out no as a joke so that's how this works does the end portal spawn no [Music] will you be scouting the normal seed we'll have to do that yes we'll probably start up the normal seed and just run around to try and find things [Music] it's amazing that you guys have never seen that is defeating the dragon possible no it's impossible to get to the end but we are able to defeat defeat some bosses what are the bosses in the game these days the wither um we'll defeat the wither and probably beat a raid this mod work on bedrock it's not a mod it's a custom map elder guardian yeah elder guardian don't spawn because they don't respawn in in um do other guardians respawn in monuments is the nether air ii yes nether is there as well [Music] it's amazing you guys will see how skyblock works it's really really cool first time live being here it's different yeah we're waiting for a setup i honestly i didn't expect the tournament to be that short and this isn't fully ready yet so i'm kind of just working on making this uh setting this up and by me i mean crafty boss is saving us i guess i'll eat my muffin how do you have blocks how do you change your existing worlds seed um oh wait yeah you can just change the uh the the level.dat i think a little bit apparently maybe that's just a server thing yes i'm gonna check what time is it for me it is 1pm i might be able to just go in and change it you can change it from an nbt editor yeah we might not even need saves skyblock level dot dat open with let's see if notepad can handle this nope um mbt editor uh download windows go uh boom boom oh heck feature download and install this feature sure wow time zones why do you need to change the seed this one so uh with new minecraft the same seed actually generates differently and so the original it starts in a plane's biome but this one now starts in a snow biome and water freezes in snow biomes so it makes it really just awful and i wanted to have the original experience of being in a plane's biome you know if we need a snow biome we'll go find one later all right i'm going to see if i can do this before crafty can it's a race i'm not sure it changes the seat of stage the biome it will yes biomes are seed based i believe installing i'm just installing an mpt editor running around in a survival world yeah we could find a good survival world seed is this modded no this is going to be unmodified can you make an old version and then update it i did make an old version and update it but when you updated the biome changed to snow 1.18 generates the same as yeah the same biome i believe okay here just let me let me move some files around really quick i'm just gonna make a new folder here um drag this into here okay we're gonna go nbt explorer we're gonna open up sky block i'm gonna open up level that uh here we go seed we just need to find a seed that starts in a plane's biome i think this one works so we'll just copy this uh [Music] border size level seed where is seed will generation settings seed we can change that to that value and i believe it's done i believe we fixed it cancel we're going to save these changes and that may be done okay i might have just fixed it we'll see nice hair thanks it's awful i know i'll put a hat on when you scout you should stay on survival only i think that's fair yeah we're gonna see if that fixed it this is still snowy planes damn it that did not fix it you think what if we change the seed in the original file and then update it it only works for new chunks oh wait craftyboss said he got it crappy boss fixed it changed a little because manually made yeah do you wanna it literally doesn't matter you man imma try okay um i'm going to try this one other thing so downloaded skyblock 2.1 let's let's try i'm gonna change the original seed and then we're gonna convert it and that'll probably fix it skyblock 2.1 drag it in here uh extract extract okay good i am so sorry that this is taking an extra minute or two uh file open a folder on my desktop this pc desktop new folder number 20. skyblock skybox 2.1 region maybe data region it literally doesn't let me modify the nbt editor doesn't work for old worlds no you've got to be kidding me that's so funny the nbt editor doesn't work for old worlds what level that it's weird because there is a level that in here weird okay what if i new folder 20 that naming hurts yeah i'm not the most organized i'll be honest why is it not showing that data um it's so weird that it doesn't show the the information for oh wait wait oh oh wait i found it i found i got it to work okay uh new folder 20 sky block okay level.dat uh random seed needs to not be random we need to paste that there okay i'm gonna do level that old random seed is this okay wait a minute we might be getting somewhere spawn thundering map features okay save okay i think we fixed it i think i fixed it thanks to everyone's combined efforts we'll see because now i can skyblock here drag it into my minecraft saves we need to convert it and once it's converted it should be correct fingers crossed um go saves 2.1 add an underscore onto the end because of the speed run stuff okay i need to open up old minecraft to convert it really quick so skyblock convert start anyways if you haven't fixed it give me 10 minutes and i'll have something ready for you thank you it'd be easier to just remake it by hand yeah what it's not even in my worlds folder apparently it's not letting me see it in my world folder did you updating mcedit world editable from the ground up lessons learned from previous editors in mind it lets you i don't want to change the biomes because we need to be able to explore the original biomes for reasons i'll explain later we can't just screw with the biomes we have to have them be default when's a new youtube video coming out 20 minutes didn't crafty make a playable no there was an issue apparently all right i'll probably let's just create a new world and we're going to modify this world to turn it into sky block real quick this is so complicated i know it's so unnecessarily complicated where you get it from the original place you need all the biomes intact yeah we need the biomes to be what they would be originally uh i don't like this one i want one in a plane's biome to start and we just delete blocks like 20k away in the original world just do clone begin end destination why it's been an hour since i've been trying to play i know there's a very small limit we can edit it once really okay you want an online server because online servers are stupid i'm not gonna play an online server because i got all these mods and i'm a boomer [Music] that is so no you can just change it's just 20k crafty you can type void world but then biomes won't generate are you making your own skyblock world kind of yeah wait the biggest you can delete is 16 by 16 chunks actually just give me a freaking planes can you download the 4.1 from planet minecraft it adds a bunch of random onto it is there a reason you can't download the map i already have the map i know what i'm doing i already have the map but look look at this biome right here snowy plains our water is just going to freeze and turn to ice and we'll never be able to make any meaningful progress it's going to snow constantly covering everything in snow i don't want to start starting to snow biome because the original starts in a plane's biome download the new one remove random things i could download 4.1 fly around in creative and delete everything i'm pretty sure they changed the sand island to be a million blocks away they also added in structures which i just want nuked whatever here's what we're gonna do we're gonna download 4.1 and i guess could you we'll just do that okay crafty's gonna download 4.1 delete all the extra bits so i'm just going to fly around and i'm going to see what's in this world it looks like literally okay this is just dirt right there's this over here there is a chest on this random island so i'm just going to open that up it has 10 obsidian a melon slice and pumpkin seeds and then i believe let's not die um hello all right we need a timer it's been 35 minutes that's it use world edit copy the island and paste it in another world but we'd have to nuke the other world still and to nuke another world it would take so long okay so blah blah blah we're just gonna boom you know what we're just gonna set block yep set block uh set wait another another portal um what is the thing i need to press f this one yeah so the nether has that's not right has another ice a sugar cane and a birch sapling and that's it we're gonna have to relight that i think the portal does not seem correct can you put a block over the water i don't want it to snow and everything be covered in snow all the time it's awful just trust me this is this this is the only way that it will work okay good to know in the original map we're gonna have to be very careful about that one i'm not using torches snow snow biome is off the table [Music] broken portals are effective change in the map from version okay it happened because you set block no no it just does that when you convert worlds okay so um delete extras drop structures um uh delete all extra structures of the og island sand and in another another chest has birch sapling um sugar cane one ice over world chest has lava bucket uh one ice um sand chest has uh what did the sanchez have ten obsidian and what else hardly started stream i wasn't expecting to do this today give me a give me a bit oh frick pumpkin melon slice and pumpkin seeds um melon sliced pumpkin seeds there's red and brown mushrooms on the nether island honestly if they're not there i don't care uh you can add volumes in world painter yeah i i just wish i've rolled through planes in desert the bullet might have made one wait did the bullet just make one uh bullet if you have a world see are all of the biomes still intact the bullet bot at me and discord i'll add you what's your what's your discord username add me okay make a new thanks five [Music] yeah it literally just doesn't exist i think i forgot to put the level that file in there why did this become the most complicated bs i remember when i used to change minecraft worlds it's like open up the program open up the world paste [Music] awful recreate and change seed i can't because here's here's the thing to create skyblock you need the original world to generate so you can delete it so i would need to fly around the original world 20k blocks in every direction and then delete it using an editor and then i could recreate the original world and that would take like an hour and a half [Music] whereas you know if you just change the if you just change the one thing you know just change the biome that it's in it would work right it's it's a little annoying skyblock is a difficult it's a time-consuming map to make but i believe it's been fixed we may actually have a correct the correct world this is the one fingers crossed i think uh thank god we're in creative okay let's go check ah biome windswept forest good okay sheets aren't allowed we're on the islands all of my controls have been reset oh my god auto jump is on i want to die i'm just going to check to make sure that all of the biomes are still correct so i'm just going to sweat forest plains one swept hills what's up hills yeah that seems normal okay where is the there's the map okay all right everything's good creative mode go down here uh i need to change all of my controls now because this is just awful um easy for now back survival oh yeah i guess we could set world spawn to here is that hot buy activator we can reset those list players is not necessary that should be that button open command no no no no well i'll leave that on you toggle full screen no toggle perspective that it's i know it looks weird but it's what i use what kind of hand position is that uh so for speed running i have to remap everything this is what my keyboard looks like which is why the hot it looks really weird because uh for speed running so i and i don't want to change the settings off of the speedrun settings it doesn't change uh casual playthrough uh mouse settings i think 50 might be at 50 usually i think it's actually at 40 generally uh auto jump off accessibility settings uh sneak hold chat delay narrator off show subtitles nah done language is good we're not playing in bossian though uh resource packs done uh done okay i think we're ready i'm gonna open it's should i open up a tie number just so people know how to how to uh oh wait yeah video settings uh render distance we'll change it to 16 brightness bright fancy fov entity distance i don't know what that changes fov is 90 that's what i usually set it to close splits no live split yeah we're just gonna leave that there all right skyblock it begins skyblock finally no in-game time i'm pretty sure the in-game time is real messy but here we go we have ice lava bucket and all of our sounds are really freaking loud i'm pretty sure i usually set this to 69 okay so first order of business is getting this tree and getting every resource from this tree so um i think i'm gonna we need to leave at least one grass because we're gonna have that's the only way to get grass so i'm just gonna try and if we lose dirt it's a terrible terrible thing so i need to try as hard as i can to never lose any dirt how's that for audio by the way is that really loud okay it's good i think it's a little loud okay first thing we gotta do definitely is a pickaxe yeah let's let's start by making um i think we can dig down a little bit more here wait is this the bottom is it only three tall one two three okay it is only three tall i'm gonna bring it down to 50 maybe yeah that actually why is the block destroy sound so loud yeah that's better okay um we need to make sure that we get a sapling back we don't get a sapling we just have to restart the whole thing is just this normal sky block uh for uh for the start it will be um yes the start you need to be a little careful for sure uh we do need to make a um a generator for cobble what is the generator for cobble again it's just like water lava right and then cobble gets generated there is that correct we probably want it to meet there so we can just mine infinitely like this i want i want him to i want the lava to flow down so that the water has no chance to hit it so lava flows to the water okay water does need to be unable to hit the lava so what if we um we place the lava here so it flows down and we have the water flow from here and then we just mine that is that good would that work uh i think this is safe to mine there's no chance we lose that um no chance we lose that okay i'm so scared because i don't want to mess this up i think if we well i haven't built one of these in so long like we lava here or something water can't flow into the lava just look at how to make it like i place water here it flows down into the lava right because then the lava will flow into that oh my god you want the default cobblegender i just don't want any chance that we lose this lava just don't touch the search blocks but what might happen is the water lands directly onto the lava and flows into the stuff that's the problem like water goes into okay wait wait wait i think i think i know what i gotta do boom boom the water flows from here into this the lava sits on this and flows that way and this is where we get our cobblestone i haven't made one of these in so long i believe that will work perfectly because water goes here it cannot flow out but it creates this yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah this will work this will work okay i just need uh more blocks why why do we have so few blocks because i don't want the lava to flow that way this is so convoluted i haven't done this in a while all right give me a break let's hope that i can just okay we didn't lose that dirt we didn't lose that dirt good okay so here's what i'm gonna do lava flows here water flows here and water cannot go this way because there's no chance it ever goes that way so it has to be here don't put lava on your spawn block if we die we're just gonna restart i don't think we're going to um i need to make sure to place the water first though so we're gonna place the water here and it's gonna flow there right replace the lava here and cobblestone will be generated right here okay now i'm able to make a pickaxe and get some cobblestone to build the platform out uh i would like to mine this safely though [Applause] because a lot of this is gonna burn yes we're gonna have to figure out a design that doesn't do that because god that's awful okay we're gonna place a block above the lava but i'm gonna make a cobblestone pickaxe first i'm gonna put a block on top okay yeah we're gonna we're gonna dig two okay that'll increase our chances yep nope yo yo yo okay [Music] okay let's collect the rest of the tree now yes just going to be very careful don't want to lose anything here wait what am i doing what the hell am i doing put the bucket away jesus i'm an absolute buffoon [Music] all right maybe a little bit wider i really do not want to miss out on any saplings because they're going to take a while to grow put the pickaxe away yeah actually let's save the wooden pickaxe in case we some by some absolute insanity die somehow mobs can't spawn on lower slabs yeah it's not like the island's big enough for that yet though okay let's get the rest of the tree good nice big tree okay put that in there for now [Music] okay the tree is starting to disintegrate [Music] wait there's a there's a sapling there's a sapling okay good good uh we'll probably just plant it here i would like one more sapling though if possible if we can get one more then cobble but we'd have to make it so our farm generates multiple stone because stone generates slower because the i don't know nether structures don't generate now go five up next to the tree we'll do that and that should force it into be a taller tree i believe right but it's taking it to its absolute limits it's if you look at the goals i'm pretty sure there's a goals command that the mods are setting up um you look at the goals and you can see what the absolute limits are ambulance limits of sky block is starting with left stuff no taking to what's happening limits with the default four fire is the side inside of the portal it'll take a little bit longer but it's guaranteed to work without wasting wood and so we'll just place lava right there uh something we need to be careful about the lava is that uh we need to leave the cobblestone there in our generator so we can place it back wood is renewable but i don't want to waste wood if i don't have to because it's you know it's a little bit low right now we don't have a ton um okay so the lava i believe is under this block yes it does not ruin anything i just had to think about it it's a very slow renewable and i don't want to if you know if we have to do it six times that's awful yeah so now we will place this lava there and that should spread to the right yes no yes it does okay and now the wood is covered uh we no need to ch and it's lit already there we go nice that was really quick well phantom spawn oh phantoms will spawn won't they you just have to be very careful don't drop our lava or our bucket if we die here sources yeah we got another ice block once we got to the nether they give us so more lava is the first priority it's actually insanely difficult to get more lava to get more lava what we need to do is we need to purify a villager to get emeralds to get a wandering trader to have a wandering trader spawn into the world that has the drip stone trade um we need to get another villager so we can get a drip stone block i think and then with that we need to get iron to make a cauldron so we can drip stone lava into a cauldron to make more lava a lava bucket is one of the last things we'll probably be able to do lava farms don't need drip stone blocks i believe they do don't they or sorry drip stone just the drip stone itself anyways uh we're gonna destroy a lot of this i'm just gonna so around 20 minutes yeah just a point it drips down okay i wish there was a way to duplicate dirt there is you'll see it soon okay so our current setup for a actually um we have to be careful because we don't fire though crafting table can light on fire so we have a new cobble generator um we're gonna want a wheat farm in a melon farm most likely just for food so um let's just get a nice patch of do we have dirt here yes let's have a nice patch of like three by three grass just in the corner here right i think that's what we're going to start with if a shovel i do it's i don't want to use it because it might i might use it too quickly and not think i want time to think about everything because the early parts of skyblock you have to think about everything to make sure you're not using stuff that can only be used like once right okay we're gonna build a nice little staircase so the grass can grow down onto this i'm gonna place some torches bomb good and now the grass will spread down to there and we'll have a nice little area for grass but we need to wait for it to grow let's just add some torches just in case um yeah sure all right i'm killing the melon yeah we need to get rid of the farmer exp farm i just want drops but the thing is i believe to get iron from zombies which you can get uh you need to kill them they can't just die so we're probably gonna need to make a farm that drops them but barely keeps them alive but only zombies we need everything else to die but zombies to survive because i believe zombies they can survive slightly more right better to get iron nuggets from piglet trading yeah but we need to get we'd like we would need to spawn that would it right now it's probably better not to because i also need oh actually yeah piglen's rating would be good but it's so hard to get gold right now well is it that hard it's mostly the the carrots and potatoes right a mob grinder with a 21 block funnel yeah so we're gonna need a few more blocks for that it's 22. if you build higher they die from fall damage and they don't give drops yeah yeah trading is definitely easier getting the iron nuggets but you need a lot of gold do you lose yourself if you die yeah under the dirt so it won't fall yeah we could this is a speedrun nah wandering trader yeah wandering trader is how we're gonna get certain things it'll be tough but possible enchanted diamond armor is gonna be more difficult and shannon time and armor won't be too bad once we start it but starting it is gonna be pretty painful because we're gonna have to find blazes i've explored another quite a while do you ever win once you complete all your goals just like minecraft you keep playing until you complete all your goals or until your friends stop playing with you because you know they burned out after playing for a week can one trader spawn on slabs no they can't so we're gonna have to make a spawn platform for wandering trader you can yeah we're gonna or i guess we could use a witch yeah if we get a witch we should probably boat it because witches can throw potions of weakness and you can potion of weakness a zombie villager [Music] you don't need to go to the nether to get enchanted seven eight nine and then one more for the border i just want to start growing things you know uh i'm gonna place blocks underneath as well just so we don't have to worry about anything falling down good i think this is nine one two three four five six seven eight nine perfect and then we'll put one in dead center yes now the question is do we have enough uh of other stuff it looks about right do you have enough dirt we'll figure it out probably 9x9 is 81. i don't think we have enough dirt no we do not have enough dirt should we try and go get more dirt dirt is a little bit difficult to get our hands on but it is possible uh i think i'm gonna try and get more dirt here soon we should probably make um before we do that though torches for the area there's no risk i think we're going to make some torches where's our furnace here how do you create dirt you'll see there's a very clever way of creating dirt uh we're gonna go boom boom we have a door left over i think yep and what is the get gold from zombie piglens and then we'll give that gold to regular penguins to get items from regular piglets those are growing so let's make another axe uh i'm just gonna put these in here uh yeah it's loud um you start with a floating island in the void and you end up with i need to see how the heck they survived that fall i don't know and uh you start with a lava bucket and nothing else we're able to take all of this and convert all of the gravel into dirt so i'm just gonna make a line of it now and now we're able to get more dirt for farms so let's get our shovel let's get our hoe gold farm like obviously we need to actually make a good gold farms we have like blocks and blocks of gold but to start what we've built in the nether is is gonna carry us through the start of the game for sure but yeah this is gonna be much more engaging than just mining cobblestone i think our days of cobblestone grinding are over uh we do need a lot of wood though for the uh for the mob farm so we're gonna have to deal with that um yeah i'm gonna start saving wood i mean we have a fair bit of wood it's so it's so cool that we can make dirt it's just at first glance it seems like impossible but we can make fields of just everything there we go here's like 30 blocks how many days you think it'll take you i have no idea i'm excited uh we need an axe the only thing we occasionally will need uh and this is before we have our mob farm we'll need to occasionally get this for wood oh is the wheat done thank you is it possible to make sand it is possible to get more sand but that is significantly more difficult because like getting cobble is awful how do you make dirt so what we did was we went to the nether we made a gold farm spawned a piglen traded gold to a piglen to give us gravel we made coarse dirt with the gravel because you can combine two dirt and two gravel to make coarse dirt for coarse dirt and then you take the four coarse dirt you place it you hit it with a hoe it turns into regular dirt which means that you can convert all you can basically convert essentially we're converting zombie piglens into dirt uh through a series of traits uh zombie piglens quite literally dirt how will you get drip stone we just gotta find a cave i guess you'll be doing sky factory in a month no sky factory's dumb i don't like modded minecraft i've never played mud in minecraft i remember since i was since i was young i i always didn't i i i liked the vanilla it just felt dirty using mods i don't know why i like vanilla is there some wood in here or something i'm an idiot dude it's like why the hell is that not growing or is that not going away okay all right bam so much wood i love it so i feel so safe with all the platform how big it is it's so be nice because we'll be able to um do witches and villagers do sorry do witches and zombies have more hp then like can they survive more because if those are the only two things that survive we might be able to purify a villager today because what we could do is we could get a witch to throw a weakness potion at us but that also hits a zombie villager so what we could do um [Music] what we could do is get a witch to spawn to help purify a villager because we have gold from a gold farm we could make a golden apple and purify a villager today maybe uh so i don't have to deal with anything there two more trees we can suppose they're super rare throws yeah but i mean as long as we're a little bit careful we'll just run in and get hit with a weak disposition run out if it's not if we do hit a hit with a weakness potion then we will um [Music] if we do get hit with a weakness potion then we can just right click super fast get the zombie in like a boat or something and and fishing rod it over melon ready oh that's true then trees i should get the trees boom boom yeah and if it instant damages us it'll heal the uh the zombie though so many apples this is great zombies and skeletons have the same health i believe zombies can survive a slightly higher fall though because they technically have like a base armor level i remember doing uh learning that when i was building farms before unless they've changed it they have multiple kinds of wood they gave me a birch sapling in the nether for some reason i dunno [Music] i should probably replant a birch sapling we didn't actually need any other types of saplings because i believe technically all saplings are available if you plan well enough so we will eventually get be getting like jungle wood and other things i think if all goes well might take a bit but it is possible grow birch trees to spawn a beehive i don't know what we could use a like we could use honey but other than honey like what's a honey what's honey used for like eventually we'll make a honey farm but i don't think we're focusing on that today we'll just focus on um for now focus on making um a mob farm you came here from my vods alive for
