welcome to sky only speedrun this is a series that i wanted to start for a while and i'm super stoked that it's finally here now some of you might be wondering what is sky only speedrun well let me tell you sky only speedrun is where i take a brand new unranked account try to place it somewhere between iron and silver and then within 50 games try to fit as many different ranks into my act rank dorito this isn't my account but this is one of my friend's accounts that gave me inspiration for this idea there are three main things i'm looking to get out of this series one the ability to play sky at an immortal plus level two i really need an alt account that's in high elo my main account is currently a mortal three and i'm pushing for radiant problem is i'm a highly inconsistent player so i'd like to start playing my main account when i'm playing at my best versus just leaving it up to chance and three this one's obvious to have a lot of fun even with just these few games played this briefly before it was reverted nothing really interesting happened in that game so i'm just gonna go ahead and skip it but trust me this second game is hilarious and let's jump right into it skyo what pretty doable right now seems pretty doable but i think the games are going to get a lot harder when we're in like diamond elo so we'll see how it goes the goal today though with playing plot is things to do because of how inconsistent diamond players are they have four alt accounts on their team they have four smurfs none of them have an act rank and the one that does has played less than 25 is just so low that it's just so hard to have your team follow up on her abilities but man all right well that sets us back a little bit hopefully we can hit diamond here really soon and get to genuinely sky is the hardest character to play in terms of trying to rank up through platinum diamond if you play a sentinel you can control so much of the map to the point where you could be easily the determining factor if you play an entry fragger you can easily carry the game if you're just mechanically better than the other team smokes as long as you're smoking the right thing you have better control people like breach and sky i think are probably very difficult to rank up in in this elo specifically just because you can't follow up your own flashes i mean honestly even breach you can follow up your own flashes but like sky when you blind somebody you get the notification that you blind somebody right she says blinded right blinded exactly like that my australian accent is fantastic i know if they're blinded and they're not looking at the bird you're blind for like half a second look at the time that it takes for me to pull out my gun while after i activate my flash okay ready flash activated i'm spamming my gun that's a long time look at this if i'm i lose that engagement every time it is long but if they're not looking at the flash it's not if they're not looking at the flash they're completely not blinded by the time i get my gun out that is the major problem with sky because you'll hear the thing like oh they're blinded say you threw a blind in a
