publications first important step is journal ranking indices you should know this indices then only you'll be able to judge the quality of that particular journal so these are the general ranking indices so friends whenever will receive the journal homepage or journal website then a few of these parameters have been written they are mostly on the left side of the journal homepage all these parameters depend on the citations issued so first three parameters to judge the quality of journals how these two parameters to judge the quality of what these are the author metrics these two parameters are having definitely having impact on these three parameters so more are these parameters then these parameters will also increase so the first important part is Samiha journal ranking is their index so basically this is used to rank the scoopers journals so you found the journal homepage so general website you found is Jeff index is written then you will be sure that that particular journal will be there in the Super's indexing and according to the number of ser eraser index if it is one or more than that then that is a good journal so like similar is used to rank the scoopers journals so impact factor used to rank the sei journals that means if you found impact-resistant on the journal homepage then that particular journal will be there in the sei indexing or SEO journals but you need to remember that this impact factor is produced by Institute of tiffy information and this institute is owned by Thomson Reuters so Thomson Reuters only considers refereed journal to generate these impact factors unlike the paid journals where you'll find my factors of 5 10 even those are of no use as I have explained this in my previous video so here if the impact factor is 1 or even less than that then also the quality you can predict the quality of those journal those a good general you can go on publishing your research article in these types of journals how to find out impact factor that I want ready discussed in my previous video the link is in description so you can refer to that link to know more about the impact factor next is side score to determine the side score basically average citations are considered for example to determine the side score of current academic year 2019 when the citation reshooting last 3 years will be considered to total citations received in last three years divided by 3 so we'll get the citation score for current academic year so let's explain these three parameters with three examples here I would like to show you few journals and then we look for the journal ranking indices so one of the journal is there which is International Journal of chemical research if you look on the left side and then you'll find no information about general ranking indices so you need to search so see here somewhere as you can see as Seema has been returned that means in jsjr index has to be there on the journal homepage so I just scroll down to see here in this section you will find basically szr index have been returned so SGR index for 2017 is 0.214 that means this journal is there in the Super's indexing list and there is not mentioned about impact factor so this journal is not there in the science Citation Index journals so one more journal is there which is materials today it is very difficult to publish in these types of journal this is because this this year banking indices on the left side you'll find all the general rank indices metrics so ciation score side score is seven point one seven which is very high these are the part of parts of impact factors so impact factor is 24 point 37 which is again very high very good that is the reason it is very difficult to publish in these types of journals and at the bottom is see a semi go journal rank is their index how also been written which is seven point three nine two which is also very good so see macro indexing is also there that means the journal is in scoopers indexing list and impact factor is also there that means this journal is also there in SCA journals so that is the reason that the quality of this journal is very good so according to your mono script you can design you can make your choice there whether your article will be published in these types of journals or not and accordingly you should select the journal and go on publishing your research article next parameters are H index and iodine index so these are basically author matrix here you can find H index is basically proposed by Georges heels and that is why the name is given as H index which is proposed in 2005 however a10 index is proposed in 2011 by Google Scholar H index I already discussed in my previous video I just repeat so if you have published 10 research articles and your two research articles has received two citations each then your impact sorry your H index will be two if your three research articles have received three citations each then your H index will be three like visual H index will increase this will definitely judge the quality of the researchers so next is eye 10 index if out of your 10 research articles published one research paper has received the citations of ten or more than that then your eye attained index will be one if your two research articles received the citations of more than ten then your item index will be two likewise your eye attained index also in Greece so we will see these also with few examples you need to open an account on the Google Scholar who get access of your citations to know your citations h-index and attain index today I would like to show you my own example so I have searched for nulishkin bar Google Scholar I already opened an account so I was just clicked on the first link so I got this page so here on the right side you will find few parameters have been written citations h-index an i10 index total citations till now I have received is 64 my H index is 2 and my attained index is 1 so here you can see my H index is 2 this is because both my research articles has received two citations and more than that so that is the reason why my H index is 2 when these citations will increase to 3 then my H index is also increased to 3 this is because 3 will be my three research articles will resume three citations each so my H index is one this is because my one research article has issued the citations more than 10 when this article this citations will increase to 10 then my item index view also more to 2 this is because two of my research article will receive the citations more than 10 like which you can open by opening an account you can get access to your citations h-index and heightened index second step you need to decide main domain where exactly you need to in which type of journal exactly you need to publish your research article this you can decide according to the quality of your manuscript quality of your research article so I have written here few non individuals and few individuals if if you have written your first article which is which is not having strong validation then I will not recommend you to go for scoopers or a say index general because this requires a strong validation even little bit validation is required here in these types of general so better where you can opt non in Texas but these choices the first time that I am talking about it is not for you personal so never go for these types of generals but second option is good you can go for an page and a few new journals emerging journals are there those have been funded by any Institute that means your publication charges processing fees will be bared by that institute so you can go and publish in your research article and these types of general and per journal that mean you need not to pay any amount but if you have written your first article and which is having a good validation validation means if you have done in theoretical analysis software based analysis or a experimental result then you need to compare those results those can be called as validation so if it is there or even it is a review paper but it is strongly criticized at the end then also you can go on publishing your research article in these types of journals schoo person is sending general so here also I have written three types three subtypes so scoopers may be unpaid may be paid an unpaid open access so unpaid and subscription that means authors need not to pay any amount but your article will be published in subscription category that means the researcher those who owns your article need to pay certain amount whereas second category is paid that means alternates who pay publication charges but it will be openly accessed by any researchers all over the world however third categories also there which is unpaid but open access means authors need not to pay any amount still it will be openly accessed by all the researchers all over the world this is because there are some institutes our organizations are funding your publication charges through different fundings in for recess schemes so next is ACA Jenna so it's a generous also there are the same types of categories will be there and paid subscription paid and unpaid open access so in my personal opinion there is a little bit difficult to publish in USA ending journal as compared to scuba Center general so according to your research article quality of research article you can you need to decide your main domain where exactly you need to publish your research article third important step is to select the journal so frames you need to spend a little bit of considerable time for selecting the journal you may need to refer few standard least like scoopers or ACLs and you need to search the keywords related to your research areas you may use short keys ctrl F and you will find different journals maybe 10 to 15 journal so you need to go on their homepage websites and then again you need to apply the first step that we have discussed you need to see the journal ranking indices and from that you make you you can make your choice that whether you need to go on publishing in these types of journals or not so this will see with one example if you need to search the journals from specific fields then you can use these two lists one list is there which is scoopers journalist and one other list is s see a list if you don't know any journals then you can simply use ctrl F short keys and you can search for related keywords from your area so I would like to search for materials as my research areas materials so I'll just press ENTER so I will get different see the list is very long so it is difficult to look at the particular journal but if you're using this then you'll be able to locate the journal within the very short time so this is advances in material sciences and engineering I just put enter so this is one more journal advanced composite materials so you need to do one thing you need to just select the best suited titles journals 10 to 12 journals and then you need to go on this journal websites and then again you need to apply the first step that is journal ranking in - you need to see general ranking indices and then we'll you will come come up with one or two Basu trade journals and then you can move with these journals for
