don't mind me asking Tyler how is your health now well I've been in remission for almost four years [Applause] you know what you are an extraordinary young man we hear too many stories about people being bullied but I can tell you one thing most people are bullied because they're better than the people who bully them right I think you have such an amazing talent such a personality and I would after I lost my hearing and then uh figured out how to get back into singing with muscle memory using visual tuners and trusting my pitch okay well look this is your moment and good luck okay music really early on he listened and his eyes just weren't huge and he started singing and that's when I just I was in tears because that's when I realized oh my gosh he's an Entertainer so through music and Performing he was able to withstand living in this world because when you're autistic it's really hard to do what everybody else does it actually has saved his life playing music Well we'd with I'm here by myself it's okay and what do you do for a living um I have not been working for quite a few years I've been dealing with cancer oh sorry no it's okay okay yeah I'm okay can I ask you a question how are you now uh last time I checked I had some cancer in my lungs my spine and my liver so you're not okay well no you got a beautiful smile and a beautiful glow and nobody would know thank you it's important that uh everyone knows I'm so much more than the bad things that happened to me yes the book is so special about Jane in my opinion was she was always optimistic but of course she she recently passed away which makes this tough but all she ever kept talking about was her music [Music] I changed my name thinking that it would change my mind [Music] sorry that all my problems they would stay behind [Music] I was a stick with dynamite and it just was a matter of time yet all day oh my now I can't hide said I knew myself but I guess I lied it's okay it's okay it's okay it's stunning it is absolutely stunning and I I totally agree with what Howie said you know about authenticity there was something about that song After the way you just almost casually told us what you're going through and uh you know you can't wait until life isn't hard anymore before you decide to be happy foreign [Music] the amazing strength she showed in the midst of incredible adversity it was a lesson for all of us the last time I saw her she did say what that moment meant to her all these years she'd been trying to get recognition as a songwriter as a singer I'm not going to give you a yes and in an instant everything changed for her I'm gonna give you something else follow me [Applause] promise you so many people come up to me and talk about what she did giving people you know a hope and perspective and you know that lyric of that song and you know she typifies I think what the golden buzzer like you said is all about if she knew how thick she was and she couldn't make the finals but she hates me and loves my husband and she's very bad dog and we have a question for Heidi I would love to know what her most embarrassing moment is I have four children and I would say to them everything I do is embarrassing what do you do when you get nervous instead of calling it nerds what I do is call it excitement and I use those nerves to bring me energy [Applause] [Music] I got it local so if there's nothing to buzzer buddy Howie if you were cleaning out Simon's closet what would you throw away first if I was cleaning out Simon's clothes you've got very minimal choices here
