Should you travel to Switzerland in 2021?

If you think that 2021 is the year  you should travel to Switzerland   then as a local I've got a few points for you  to consider before you book your next trip. Dear friends of Switzerland my name is Greg and  I'm already starting with the first point. So, Switzerland as you know is a direct democracy  and it consists of 26 states whereas all other   countries in Europe such as Germany or France they  have a president and the president says something   it's implemented in the entire country, it's no  problem. In Switzerland it's different. We've   got 26 states this means you think now okay, we've  got 26 different opinions and ways to do things. Wrong, we've got about 77 ways we do things here. I do not know what's going on outside my front door. So, when you travel this might still be in  effect. So within one state or one Canton of   Switzerland it might be not a problem to actually  go out and do something, whereas in the other it is. In one Canton things might be closed, in another  continent might be open. In one Canton you have   to do this... and i think you get the point. So, this  makes the itinerary planning for Switzerland for   your Swiss trip a bit more difficult. Another  point for you to consider we are in January at   the moment in the second lockdown. I am pretty  sure that at the moment a lot of tourism and   hospitality businesses or restaurants as well may  go out of business this year. So, before you take   your money and book your cheap non-refundable  rates, obviously your money can be lost if they   file for bankruptcy a bit later on in the year. So  the effect on the economy might only be visible   maybe in September when you've already booked  your ticket in March and everything seems fine. Please consider that as well. The tourism industry  in Switzerland has worked really hard to get you   to pay 200 Swiss Francs to get up a mountain. Do you think they're gonna get rid of that soon?   Do you think they're gonna like drop the prices soon? A lot has to go wrong for them to drop the prices. So instead of waiting for lower rates for  the entire country, wait for maybe deals, which   are temporary, which may boost a bit demand. Now  obviously if you want to travel for cheaper rates   and if you want to have an insider knowledge about  Switzerland you should subscribe to this channel   because here you will learn few tips here  and there that save you a lot of money. Guys another thing to consider is that the way you  travel Switzerland it may change completely. Before   in Lucerne where i live at the moment every summer there were like busloads of tourists   wandering around. There was traffic jams caused by  the buses. No bus is here anymore so this might be   forever, who knows? Maybe the bus tours throughout  all Europe they are over. We don't know yet. So, if   you think about booking a trip to Switzerland it  may change. It may change in a way that it opens up   a new way for you to travel. It doesn't mean that  it will be like the super expensive way I just   mentioned before. That's just obvious because you  would do the same, if you had the business and   you had the prices up you would try to keep  them. But it may be that the new way to travel   Switzerland is actually the way you intended all  along in the first place. So, what might open up   for you is that you can for the budget you actually get much more authentic experiences. Also   because you subscribe to this channel and get  all the cool insider tips in Switzerland that   no one else tells you but it might be that you  all of a sudden may not be in part of a group   anymore. But you might travel individually just  like you wished always with a group of friends   through Switzerland for the same amount of money. So, we don't know what's going to happen maybe   wait a little bit and see how things evolve. Let's  hope for the best, let's hope that a lot of people   everywhere in the world will not have to suffer  health wise, don't have to suffer socially, economically and so on anymore.
