Should You Buy An NZXT Gaming PC in 2023?

hey how's it going guys Jack come out here with the toasty Bros and today we're going to be taking a look at a 2 000 NZXT build pre-built and this video is sponsored by our friends at NZXT it's been a while since we've taken a look at an NZXT pre-built and they fully revamped their lineup with RTX 40 series graphics cards and this one right here features the 4070 TI and ryzen 750 800x we're very excited to see what this PC looks like how it performs the build quality and everything and you can check out the PC yourself in the link description down below but let's just not waste any more time open this thing up and give our reactions all right guys so we're going to open up this NZXT player 2 Prime pre-built now nzxt's pre-built lines a little bit different than the last time we take a look at it they have different tiers they have player one player two player three but they also have Prime versions of each one of those that provides just a little bit more performance stepped up from the original player so we have the player two here as you mentioned with a 4070 TI player 2 Prime let me clarify that 470 TI with the 5800x 32 gigs of RAM and a one terabyte SSD and it comes inside the H5 Elite which is really cool to see they're using other new cases in these pre-builts and it's heavy Jackson just hoisted that so in this one I believe is the White Version we got um yep all white the all-white version it comes in white and black and yeah you can get a bunch of different PCS from NZXT obviously as PC business owners we like to see companies that do have quality customer service good build quality and everything and nzxc has always been on our short list for those who feel like they want to go within zxc we're like yeah you know what can't go wrong with them their prices are pretty fair and they have really good build quality indeed they do oh and there's a power cord look at that oh good thing you got it out I would have never noticed it honestly a pretty easy unboxing experience too it's kind of surprising some of the PCS a lot of the ones that we get aren't double boxed at all and the ones that are are like really complicated to get out the only thing I like is just NZXT with their branding they always just include really cool stuff this is actually just holding your semi-modular or fully modular power cables so I like that they include that some companies don't do that and it kind of sucks if you ever want to do an upgrade we get a lot of stuff in this box so they include like stuff about removing the panels that probably just comes with the case they literally gave us like everything they give you all the mounting that's really cool now as you know where just in case you ever wanted to like I guess use the cooler in a different build or maybe you want to switch platforms extra SATA cables some extra thermal paste even so yeah we're looking pretty good Wi-Fi paddles in here for the antennas let's go ahead and open this thing up it's really cool when a company includes all the extra stuff that you need because you know this is a PC even though you didn't build it yourself obviously you still want to have the ability to upgrade yourself if you feel inclined to do so and being able to take Parts using new builds and things like that and that's really cool to see from NZXT so we'll go ahead and lift this up here and take the bag off now obviously one thing you're going to notice is the inside of this looks very filled right that's because it has a expanding foam pack in it to make sure that nothing bad happens in shipping which this is definitely like a you know going the extra mile kind of deal they could have just put cheap bubble wrap in there but this actually forms to the inside of the PC I will mention and here's all the parts by the way that's a really nice 4070 TI we're wondering why they use the gigabyte cooler it's very interesting because um I know NZXT has done this before where they don't use all the stuff that they sell themselves I don't know if it's just a cost value thing or if they separate the businesses to a certain degree where nzxt's pre-built line just uses the best value they can and maybe this gigabyte cooler is the best value they can get but yeah I mean it's a good AIO I mean it looks pretty solid we definitely like their new H5 case too because it does stuff like this that's basically a basement cooler so it pulls air up into the graphics card and that's just one of those things where the old h510 you had one fan up top you could kind of fit two up front with the 240 mil and then nothing at the bottom so pretty limited on airflow but these are definitely good yeah so let's go and plug her up and see what she looks like but yeah as you can see inside here we have the gigabyte AO it is a 240 mil we do have the two sticks of t-force Vulcan Z memory 32 gigs 32 3200 megahertz uh the 4070 Ti from PNY using that adapter everything looks solid there and I can't really tell which motherboard it looks like we're rocking a b550 UD AC so I'm sensing a gigabyte theme here so I'm thinking that's probably where the cooler came from is just a deal with gigabyte but regardless they are quality components that's what you're getting with this NZXT pre-built components that are pretty well built and how's the cable management look it's looking good I've always been very impressed with their Cable Management they do a good job utilizing all the raceways and stuff they have they definitely have good building teams we've gotten some pre-builts that you're like oh my gosh was this their first time building this gaming PC but yeah they definitely have some hired professionals and yeah I mean it's just it's just super clean in the back super clean in the front it looks like everything's working too that's another thing we often see is stuff like not plugged in properly or not working but yeah cable Management's good all the fans are spinning we do have some kind of rgbness going on here we should be able to change the NZXT fans once we're in Windows 2 they might already be set to RGB we're just not in Windows yet yeah they're probably at the cam software what power supply is in it we are looking at an NZXT c750 they use their own power supply wow look at that here we'll go and show so you can see the c750 750 watts is more than adequate for a 4070 TI build and I think all together this is a pretty decent value two thousand dollars it is a premium PC price but we do got to see is the performance there we're going to do is load this thing up in some of our games that we like to test here on the channel see if it lives up to the expectation we expect from NZXT all right guys we're playing Halo infinite let me show you guys these settings we got almost Max fov unlimited frame rate Ultra with Ray tracing Sun Shadows on medium that's crazy 1440p 100 plus FPS almost 200 FPS in this pretty impressive don't be sleeping on this combo guys don't sleep on it yeah it is a combo I probably wouldn't have done myself but it's cool to see the 5800x works very well the 4070 TI yeah as you mentioned with these NZXT pre-builts um they have a wide range of different options you got the player one the player two and player three along with the upgraded versions as well of each model so there's a lot of different prebuilds you can get from them they also have the customizer as well if you want to go through that route but I think these are pretty solid good configured systems perform very well and they do show FPS numbers on their website which is something a lot of people companies don't do we like to do here show real FPS numbers because if it's a customer if you're buying a pre-built you want to know is it going to run the games that I want to at the frame rate I want by playing inbound oh there he is oh it just happened there I don't know I think he like hit me with the blowy me no need to know what is now me oh gosh you know it does damage and me know I'm hurt you got killed by blubber flush oh no he don't have the ball we're gonna we're gonna shoot him to death someone die already oh there's so many here it's like people want to win my kill this time my kill ER I was hitting some shots apparently hey Halo infinite Victory and the performance is good temperatures are solid very nice system overall so far let's try some war zone all right guys we are now in Call of Duty war zone and these are the graphics we're running 1440p balance preset Nvidia dlss on balance just try to maximize that frame rate and uh the frame rate is wild but we're playing Resurgence you saw the performance we see the performance you saw the settings running pretty solid you need a Kill oh no oh you better jump oh there's a guy down there oh god oh come out on you he was waiting for you I ain't going back there again wow oh my God that scared me bro people in this game oh there's another person all right let's just hope no one's right here we did not make it 10 seconds all right guys Warzone take two he's gonna keep harassing him for you oh did I get a shot from you too that's what that's all the Wars song you get ladies and gentlemen clearly the species doesn't make me a better gamer but it might make you a better gamer so we're gonna go ahead and do let's run some built-in Benchmark so we're going to test cyberpunk and Far Cry 6 we're gonna throw that into the Benchmark rotation see how this PC performs and then just talk about this PC one more time and wrap the video real quick all right guys we just got done benchmarking our NZXT build and overall it did amazing I mean 1440p even some light 4K gaming this thing will definitely do it with ease and on top of that NZXT comes with a two year warranty which is pretty epic you don't get a lot of companies that do that and on top of that they do have really good customer support and customer service that's definitely something that we can vouch for
