that was burned on the altar reality we should surrender our lives to jesus the fifth symbol the priest made atonement for sins [Music] this is showing that jesus is making atonement for our sins and so summarizing these symbols in leviticus 4 points to jesus and the word that is though doing and our behalf coming to her then for our sin ascending to heaven and interceding and over the earth for the atonement of our sins the example of rest and the scripture is taken from hebrews 4 1 through 11. let us therefore fair lest the promised being left us of entering into his rest any of you should seem to come short of it for unto us was the gospel preached as well as unto them but the word preached did not profit them not being mixed with faith in them that heard it the theme of perseverance and faithfulness is very important here through talking about the seven these passages remind the reader to take the lessons learned from god's leading in the past seriously so that no one may fall by the same sort of disobedience when we look at the israelites movement we would have realized that the israelites were free from slavery in egypt but they were never free from the slavery of sin god had intended for moses to lead israel into cain and rest but because of their unbeliefs they were luck in sabbath observance and they never understood salvation by grace so we are modern israel today and if we as christians today should come boldly to the throne of grace and have faith in jesus christ we will experience the joy of entering into christ's rest arrest that encompasses the assurance of salvation arrests with perseverance and obedience a true self-address we will achieve thank you good morning everyone in line and here with us this morning we've heard from three of our superintendents these are the head superintendents for bellevue and maranatha and um and eastern's uh somebody up in his church my name is pete smith from the carrot bay church to wrap up this morning's uh summer school lesson we're talking about longing for more and in this age that we're in we're all about the word more we're all about the word more more time more money more education more of a lot of different things but what we need to focus on is more of a deep rich full relationship with god you see god longs for more god longs you know when he met with adam and eve in the garden that's what it was supposed to be like all the time that was not supposed to end but sin got in the middle of the way and from that day till now and on into the future god will continue to long to be with us on a regular basis and so we should also long to be with him but the devil has other plans he distracts us so we long for more but we long for more of the things of this life the material things the temporal things a bigger house a bigger car a better job you know whatever it is and we get trapped in a cycle but god wants to have he desires to have this forever relationship with us he longs to have a forever relationship with us he longs to be able to see us every day and have us wake up and say don't you want to see god every day like physically see god every single day that's what the whole plan of salvation is about restoring that connection we will get to the point where we no longer long for more because jesus is all that we need right and then we'll have him so the bible and in this week's lesson it talks about longing for more you know so many illustrations and and and and all the stories that we're covering there's so many symbols and and illustrations and and warnings and that point to christ you know as the israelites came through out of egypt through the red sea into the desert and some of them on the next generation onto the promised land they may have left egypt physically but some of them were longing to go back some of them were longing to get out of the desert something more longing to eat something besides manner interestingly enough man itself is a symbol if they didn't eat manna what would they eat nothing in the desert so the manna itself is a symbol that god provides all that we need if you didn't eat manna then you starve but manna is probably the only complete food that there ever was it had in all your proteins all the carbohydrates all your everything else that you needed right mana everything that you needed i wanna i wonder how it tasted [Music] so god provided everything that they need yet somehow the devil was able to get into their minds and make them want something else long for something else long for something that they had and that's this trap to have us to long for something else rather than long for christ long for that deep rich fulfilling religion you're not going you're thirsty you're drinking juice that wasn't it you drink soda that wasn't it what question is your thirst water you can drink everything you want water is what quenches your thirst and christ is a living water he fulfills our need in each of our lives that cannot cannot be replaced by anything else but the devil continues to distract us distract us distract us the world is full of distractions we live in an age where destruction is the norm but you know what every day and every week we have an opportunity to tie in just a little bit closer to christ it's not about waiting until you have a big issue we talk about faith this week it's not about wait until you have a big grand issue to say no i'm gonna exercise my faith if you've never lifted a hundred pounds with a dumbbell you think you're gonna get up one day and lift up a hundred pounds with a dumbbell no you have to stop at a 5 pound weight 10 pound weight 15 pound weight 25 pound weight you're building the muscle and the same how we build faith but somehow we have this muddled idea that it's about us building our faith oh i don't have enough faith oh let me say if you're having a faith is a mustard seed or i don't think i have enough faith it's not about you that's why the lesson is about rest because we think we have to have the faith all you need to do is relax rest in god you see deliverance is never in our hands from whatever it is whatever it is is going on in each of our lives deliverance is never in our hands it's in god's hands we're trying to figure it out we're trying to read a book we're trying to talk to somebody we're a mentor with this person we go we go take our course we go you know it's not enough that's not the solution christ so here's what happens faith is having faith has more power when you rest in christ faith has more poor when you rest in christ you're resting in christ it's not about how much faith you have but whereas about how well you can simply because you see most of us carry as we rest less people never sit down to read and find yourself or you're watching you're watching um let's say i was watching um the sabbath school lesson last night and i found myself getting distracted and i found myself having the force to actually stay focused on watching on watching it we gotta start we can't do anything for more than 15 seconds we get distracted too easily but that's the devil's trick to distract us so when it comes to the matter of resting we struggle we struggle to rest we talk to even sit down sit down there be quiet focus when the last time you try to meditate and find your mindstream your pray or somebody's praying and you find your mind going somewhere else we have a hard time that there's something we have to practice because when we rest in christ which means that we're releasing [Music] a situation we're releasing or circumstance we're releasing our problem to christ can we see we all know the story you know you always hear a story about the parent has a child the child will get up on the wall or something and tell the child jump and what does the child do child jumps right what is that childlike faith we call right the child trusts that their parent is gonna catch them they don't question you'll catch me no they don't say that jump and what do we do we catch them that's the relationship we ought to have with christ when christ says jump you'll be like thought of me of course he's talking to you god wants us to jump he wants us to jump and float free close your eyes knowing that god is gonna catch you that's faith that's where your faith is complete in god you know that whatever the circumstance he's gonna bring you through it but the the text and the the this week's lesson also talks about not hardening our hearts and that's where the devil jumps in because he wants to make sure that we're when god says come or god says jump he puts the doubt inside you know this thing works both ways you can build your faith or you could lose your faith the problem is we think faith hovers oh i have faith no you don't when i ask you test it right trait doesn't hover it grows or diminishes on a daily basis in every situation so if every day we're building our faith then the devil doesn't have a chance to harden our hearts or to make us doubt right it's not that we don't sing the song he's able he's able i know he's able yeah you know he's able but somehow you you just a little bit free to take that step forward harden not your heart you know this story about people who live close to airports and railroads you move in the first day you can't sleep one guy say he had a there's a real they moved into a house and he didn't know there was a real world right behind the house and there was actually a crossing as well so you know what happens when the train is coming across middle of the night train coming 10 minutes got the shock all of their life but you know what about a month later they were sleeping through it sleeping through it didn't bother them same thing at airport nice you lift goes to the airport after a while you don't hear it and that's life if we're not paying attention with god the deception is we think we're still in touch but the reality is we're actually falling away and god is ever longing to bring us closer to bring us closer he's longing for us to spend more time for it with us with him he's longing for us to trust him more he's longing for us to praise him more he's longing for us to take that whole step when when the next time you are asked to do something in church say yes everybody who's listening to me then and i'm not i'm not saying this until the bastards to abuse the situation but but the next time you are asked to do something in charge just say yes and you know what it might be completely out of your league that might be the first thought or i'm not gonna say oh i don't like to pray oh i don't like to do this oh i don't like to do the other it's not about you god enables the willing and when you go do something you've never done and you walk in faith and you watch not you but god do his thing what does that do it builds your faith it builds your walk it builds your trust it builds your reliance that he took you someplace that you never thought you could possibly do you put you up in front to pray you don't like to pray he put you to go sing a song you don't like to sing in public he put you to go out and do the bible study you've never done a bible study the first one has to be done in order to get good or you'll not ever get good at doing bible study if you don't do a bad one first but god will equip you and god will build you and you know who's going to learn more from the real study you you know who's going to grow most from the bible study you because you're the one who has to do research not everything your research is what you're going to say so they'll learn about half of what you learned in the process so i heard this one thought it says pray with your eyes open pray your eyes open so you can see god's deliverance i don't mean physically i mean being mindful of what god is doing through you being mindful of every time you see him come through every time you you know a lot of times we we we live life on a reality basis based on what we think our sets of skills and what abilities are and if all we're going to do ever in life is all that we already know or all that we're already equipped to do where does god take us to the where does we when we leave room for god to take us to the next level he can't take us to the next level if we're not leaving we have to be like joshua and caleb 12 spies went out after they got to the promised land how many said we could do this 2 2 out of 12 they said the lord will give this to us say that in your own life say in your life the lord will give it to me statement of confidence no doubt a statement of the lord will not in the lord maybe well probably no will the lord will give this to us the more confident we are the more confidence we get and the closer we are reaching to christ because when something comes up just like how when david came up and said what's going on here and goliath was trash talking and they was like no let me deal with this you can't talk about god like that we have to stand and we just say god will give the situation to me i don't even worry about it i don't sleep good tonight god gonna deal with it and watch him watch him open up all the doors in your life um so the whole old testament symbols in the new testament revelations points to christ points to us to restoration not one person online or virtual is going to say to me right now that they're completely happy with their relationship with christ there's always a four-letter word what is it more more there's more to a christian walk there's more to a relationship with christ there's more to our witness there's more to our mission there's more to our experiences there's more to our influence there's more to our reach than what's happening right now and god wants to partner with us not just in spreading the gospel but in creating a richer longer-lasting relationship with him so the more that he longs for will be exactly the same more that each one of us longs for may we align our lives our hearts and our soul with christ so that he can take us where we need to go have a blessed sabbath everybody we'll see you next time good morning everyone it's a pleasure and an honor to be here today i just thank the lord for giving me strength and mercy brother pete i thank you for those words that you mentioned earlier more i'm here this morning to give a point of view a point of view as to what it is i'm supposed to be here doing and it is an honor i'm really honored to be here today and to do the will of god like brother pete has said more more in my going as a human being it is more that i was longing for questions you know the song there are more questions than answers that's not true because even though i had the questions i knew that the answers were there and as i go in now to the scripture i found the answers ephesians chapter 4 verse 1 and i'm gonna move on through that this is paul's story as he puts it and it's very well put together unity in the body i therefore the prisoner of the lord beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called with all loneliness and meekness with long suffering for bearing one another in love endeavoring to keep the unity of the spirit in the bond of peace there is one body and one spirit even as ye are called in one hope of your calling one lord one faith one baptism one god and father of all who is above all and through all and in all but unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the great gift of christ wherefore ye say when he ascended up on high he let captivity cap captive and give gifts unto men now that he ascended what is it but that he also descended first into the lower part of the of the earth he that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens that he might fill all things and he gave some apostles and some prophets and some evangelists and some pastors and some teachers for the perfecting of the saints for the work of the ministry for the edifying of the body of christ till we all come in the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the son of god unto a perfect man unto the measure of the statue of the fullness of christ that we henceforth be no more children toss to and fro and and carry about with every wind of doctrine by the slight of men and cunning craftiness whereby they lie in wait to deceive but speaking the truth in love may grow up into him in all things which is the head even christ from whom the whole body full uh from whom the full body fitly joined together and compact by the by that which every joint by which every joint uh supply it according to the affectional working in the measure of every part make it increase of the body onto the edifying of itself in love living as children of light this i say therefore and testify in the lord that ye henceforth walk not as gentiles walk in the vanity of their mind having the understanding darkened being and being alive from the aligned from the life of god through the ignorance that is in them because of the blindness of their heart who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lascaviousness to work all uncleanness with greediness but ye have not so launched christ if so be that ye have heard him and have been taught by him as the truth is in jesus that he put off concerning the former conversations the old man which is corrupt according to the deceitful loss and be renewed in the spirit of your mind and that ye put on the new man which after god is created in righteousness and true holiness wherefore putting away lying speaking lying speak every man truth with his neighbor for we are members of one another be ye angry and sin not let not the sun go down upon your wrath neither gave place to the devil let him that stall that that stole steal no more but rather let him labor working with his hands the thing which is good that he may have to give to him that need it let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth but that which is good to the use of edifying that it may minister grace unto the hearers and grieve not the holy spirit of god whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and evil speaking be put away from you with all malice i end and be ye kind one to another tenderhearted forgiving one another even as god for christ's sake had forgiven you this is my testimony i have been there i have been there and i appeal to you all today when you ask god he will answer he will come not when you want him to come not what you want him to do but he will do it in good faith and good measure shaken down and pressed together stay faithful in the lord be honest in what you're doing and if you know that god is pursuing for you to do that do it amen true [Music] great is [Music] now jesus has i see [Music] is [Music] is is [Music] [Applause] [Music] mercy thy faithfulness grace [Music] oh [Music] is foreign [Music] tomorrow is is [Music] [Music] [Music] is [Music] well elder smith we're here what a wonderful time we have spent in the house of the lord this morning and today is a very special and a significant day in the history of the world can you tell me what is so significant about today somebody's birthday huh you know what we didn't wish everybody a happy birthday for those of you who are celebrating happy birthday no it's not that happy birthday anyway um today today what's today it's sabbath it's um oh wait tell me what is it it's 9 11 9 11. that's a significant period in the history of the world um some of you are too young you have not been born yet but for those of us who have been around can you tell me where were you at 9 11 how many years ago 20 years 20 years ago where were you can you remember that you know what i actually flew that day i actually we were in synchro for a conference session for um well committee meeting and i think i got on the only american eagle flight that left singapore that day and everybody who was at the session got stuck there for the rest of the week because there was no flights going anywhere god was with you so i got out went just in time thomas went to look for a friend at uva walked in thought the person would be surprised and they're staring at the screen and they didn't engage with me so i went over and people's like what are they looking at and oh some little stupid plane flying to the wall trade center but then i see 757 i was like what this doesn't make no sense that that's why that's why where were you in the classroom in the class yes and there was a buzz we didn't have the cell phone that would blow up and alert you but the news got wrong and so everybody you know with most of us caribbean people we have relatives in new york yeah so you begin to get scared and you're wondering if any of your relatives are affected and as soon as you got home the first thing you wanted to do was call them and i think for most of us we knew of someone or someone someone who were impacted with that the interesting thing is that even though it happened in new york it impacted us here also in the caribbean so from your vantage point how were you impacted well i mean it's not i guess it's not just me it's the world i mean travel took on a whole different meaning the government introduced the united states government to use a holy department um department of homeland security around the world remember you used to be traveling at cities the every day that would change the alert level yes yes i remember those days or whatever whatever it was and we just had this very long engaging period of being uneasy about what could happen next so yes we we reflect today on 9 11 that's 20 years ago and you know if you don't remember the time limit at 8 46 flight 11 crashed into the north face of the north tower of the wall street center 92 people died at 903 flight 175 crashed into the south face of the tower and 65 people on board day at 9 37 flight 77 crashed into the western side of the pentagon killing all 64 people on board at 9 59 the salt tower collapsed and when i heard it for me yes couldn't understand you just grab your mind around this yes i went around the fact that it fell it's like that's impossible that was at 9 57. 1003 flight 93 crashed into the feeling someone said pennsylvania where the height where the hijackers were overtaken by the passengers and they said no you're not going to take out another institution of this country we're gonna we're gonna all go down together at 10 28 the north tower collapsed in three hours wall was changed yes so elder smith what lessons can we as 70 adventist christians learn from all of this well the lesson is right in today's lesson right on on wednesday the topic is there big and bold hardening up your heart you know in psalms and in hebrews it says today how many people went to work that morning thinking that they had more time yes how many people think that they were in a better that that they were i i spoke to somebody just this week who said he met a guy who was in the building that morning they were working on our deal they had just finalized it she was and and when the the the um the plane hit the other building he said you know what guys let's go and they said no no no that's all right and he said right you guys can stay here we're going to start it out we'll start we'll finish this another day and he left and the plane struck exactly where they were the second plane he left me everywhere everybody else was there dying and and that's interesting because in life god allows us some of us to be around so that we can give a testimony so that we'll be able to encourage others to come to know him as lord and savior and so you're saying this has affected the world it has affected christians it has affected how we view life and how we should think of life how should this prepare us as christians to draw closer to god we should be ready ever ready you know the bible says today and and today we don't understand today today means that you may walk out of here or in the next family you know sometimes we say but i just saw the person this morning oh i just saw him oh he just but he just left from by my house we never know when our time is up it's not that we're all going to live to be 100 or 95 or whatever the case is we may be struck wrong in the frame of our days if we are not ready then i said we were not ready god has an eternal promise for us and all of these situations are just reminders to us today we're reminding everybody that now is the acceptable time no today as fast edwards finishes off this series he has been here week after week sharing the information sharing the knowledge sharing the experience unpackaging the information so we can all better understand it there's no more time for us to deal for us to ponder for us to question for us to well i'll get back to you later now today is when we should make a decision amen and i'm just appealing to or viewing audience that if you feel so impressed if something that was set today touches your heart please reach out we are here and we are going to be praying for you as we close elder pete smith will close for you shortly in a prayer and we as we go into the sermon today we encountered all these prophecies and and see how they can impact our lives and it is time that we surrender our lives totally and fully to god because as elder peace says we do not know what tomorrow holds we just want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who participated in sabbath school this morning from the song service for are resting from we're resting from our troubles and resting from our issues and resting from our trials but we need to not rest from but therefore to help us to learn to rest in yes rest in you resting knowing that you are all sufficient that you'll provide everything that we need therefore we know that you are longing for more and that you are longing for a deeper more personal more rich relationship with each and every one of us that is something that will never leave your heart's desire so help us their father today even now to make the decision once and for all and for every single day that our eyes awake and open up make the decision every day to love you more dearly more closely to be not allow the devil to cause us to be distracted or dismayed or dissuaded may we find rest in you peace in you joy in you love in your fulfillment in you as we continue to build ourselves and each other in preparation for your second we told me thank you for this beautiful sabbath day we thank you for the ministry that pastor edward and his team and his family has been doing here at maranatha to reach to spread the gospel not just through the bvi but around the world and we actually we're looking at health connections and trust and we're asking the question who can i trust trust is defined as confidence or calm reliance in the ability strength or dependability of something or someone the challenges of life can either make a person isolated and bitter or balanced and better able to participate in life how we handle hardship has more to do with mental physical and spiritual health than many realize we're living in times of increased stress and uncertainty trust is hardwired into babies and ideally trust should grow betrayals loss and failed relationships cause a loss of trust trust optimism and freedom from chronic anxiety yield valuable physical and mental health benefits the healthiest social relationships are marked by trust cooperation and fairness trust doesn't mean being gullible or allowing abuse but it's recognizing flaws and imperfections in ourselves and others but knowing that growth and strength are possible even in imperfect situations with imperfect people trust is good medicine trust is linked with improved immune health faster recovery better overall health and positive social ties knowing that you can trust god produces an internal joy that is not dependent on things or people or circumstances team attitudes of trust at work are linked with less sickness and absenteeism and better service god's transforming power to face the ups and downs of life is remarkable the ability to trust comes from god his character shows us how to forgive and re-establish trust trusting god even in difficult times will change every part of your life attitudes and actions it even affects your mental and physical health difficult times come to all and because of sin life is not always easy or fair jesus tells us that in this world we will have tribulation jesus wants to heal us this is an inside job that goes far beyond external behavior it's an inner transformation that leads to new strengths desires attitudes and actions know that god is in control even when you do not have the answers or understand the situation he is personally interested in you he has a plan god also tells us to be of good cheer because he has overcome the world he has come to heal the brokenhearted you are unique a child of god and of great value you are created in god's image for a holy purpose we are invited to trust him because he loves us just as we are and we love because god first loved us when we accept god's unconditional love for us and holy trust in his power to transform our lives amazing things begin to happen healing trust is real god's love will prompt you to make healthy choices surround yourself with a health promoting environment be active in mind and body it will prompt you to be available to others to have a positive outlook and to trust him fully with your life we are energized to take better care of ourselves in order to reflect his character to a needy world when you lean on god you will be able to press into christ press through life's ups and downs and press on to victory the bible says god is a refuge for us the bible describes faith as the assurance of things hoped for the evidence of things that we don't see faith is looking at every situation through god's eyes he will provide all your needs according to his riches in christ jesus faith is power for the journey not a lucky charm to avoid problems god invites you to trust him with your daily life and present situation to allow him to calm and lead you and to spend time in his word because it is there that you will learn to trust him more these steps of trust have more to do with mental physical and spiritual health than many realize they're a decision of the will and a discipline of the mind attitudes and daily life you will learn to devote more time in prayer the bible says i will trust in you in god i have put my trust i will not fear as god has spoken to your heart will you make the decision to trust him with your life and your circumstances trust in christ your redeemer he will save you heal you and guide you through every circumstance of life [Music] welcome back thanks vicky for helping us to be reminded as the sam is saying psalms 11 indeed i'll put my what my trust trust in god so we want to encourage you to continue to uh send your prayer request a matter of fact uh this just came in sister williams are we going to pray for your mom as you requested so for those that are sending our prayer requests uh continue to do so it's not too late we'll take it until the last minute so sister viki will continue to pray for your mom who is in a critical uh state in the hospital also we want to also encourage you for those that uh don't know we have folks that have been joining us all around the world we want to say sabbath and like to welcome you once again to our final presentation in the shocking bible prophecy series you know i've had a wonderful experience not only preparing this for these messages but night by night delivering them indeed the bible's testimony is that the soul that water it shall be watered also and and i know that i've had a a reformation in my life i've had a transformation in my life just being reminded of these wonderful truths you know just like you have an anniversary and a husband and wife come together in order to rekindle and to renew their commitment and their love for each other you know and they leave that motel or hotel or wherever they go on that honeymoon with that recommitment to continue the marriage this is what um this shocking bible prophecy seminar has been to me i'm not that these are the first time i've discovered these things but it's just being reminded and being renewed of the things that i believe and as i try to share with you night by night i reconfirm in my mind that indeed god has been directing his people he had been directing his church i've been reminded night by night that this is indeed god's word and this is no ordinary book and that is why for this series our theme has been give me the bible give me the bible and my dear friends is this book is wrong ah my life is wrong if this book is wrong we are without hope and the atheists and the evolutionists they are right that all we can look forward to is a dark hole in the ground but i'm thankful that when i study god's word you know it tells me that there is hope there is hope for tomorrow because jesus christ showed up here on earth as god in manly form in order to show us the love of the father you know and these are holy hours this is a sabbath day the children sing sabbath is a happy day is a happy day is a happy day and these are holy hours how are they made holy because jesus god himself the holy spirit have invested their presence in this day and heaven is closer to earth during this 24 hour period than any other time during the week and we know this by faith the fourth commandment says remember the sabbath day to keep it holy and isaiah 58 13 and 14 tells us that we ought to call the sabbath a delight the hebrew word that is used there is one and one egg means an exquisite delight so it means then that we can be sad any other time during the week but we are not allowed to be sad on the sabbath day because the bible commands that we are supposed to call the sabbath our delight our delight and so my final presentation um in this series is entitled bitter as honey bitter as honey and as usual let us bow our heads for prayer before we go into god's word now loving heavenly father i pray oh god that you might make these words become living words for us that they may jump off of the pages and into our hearts and transform us into the kind of people that you have us to be i pray in jesus name amen bitter as honey i don't know if you have ever gone through a great disappointment in your life maybe there was a time of failure maybe a time when you had a great expectation and it did not come true i know a friend of mine who got disappointed in love and she was left at the marriage alter and so she decided that she would never trust another man again but i want to talk to you about what god does with our disappointments and how he can turn and change those disappointments into something that is turns out to be beautiful that god it can happen to people as individuals and it can also happen to people as a church as a group and and people who understand that god can make a great difference in our world and in our lives you know i believe that god is a god of new beginnings i believe that he can deal with our greatest disappointments and our tragedies and he can turn them into triumphs i believe that god indeed can use the worst experiences of our life in order to be our greatest blessings and i would like to show you today just how he does that you know throughout the history of his church god has turned tragedy into triumph and disappointments into rejoicing and so we're gonna today in our study we are going to be looking at revelation chapter 10 this chapter opens with a glorious angel that is um a glorious angel coming down from heaven and is he's clothed with the cloud and his face is shining like the sun and it tells us that there's a rainbow a rainbow that is spread over his head this is another dramatic scene in the book of revelation which is a book about the end times and is the setting the stage for another important time event so let's read revelation chapter 10 verses one to four and we're going to find here this exciting vision that john the revelator had it says in revelation 10 and verse 1 it says i saw still another mighty angel coming down from heaven clothed with a cloud and a rainbow was on his head and his face was like the sun and his feet like pillars of fire he had a little book open in his hand and he set his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land and cried with a loud voice as when a lion rose and when he cried out there were seven thunders that uttered their voices now when the seven thunders uttered their voices i was about to write but i heard a voice from heaven saying to me seal up the things which the seven thunders utter and do not write them now the question is here what is this symbolism referring to uh what is this little book and what could this little book be that the angel had in his hand in other words then what bible book was sealed up huh is there any book in the bible which was once sealed well daniel clearly explains that his prophetic book would be sealed until the time of the end we read in daniel chapter 12 and verse 4 but you daniel shut up the words and sealed the book until the time of the end and so we see then that so we see therefore then that daniel was commanded to seal his book until a certain period of time until the time of the end we also read in daniel 12 and verse 9 and he said go your way daniel for the words are closed up and they are sealed until the time of the end so we see therefore then that the book of daniel fits this picture well it is a book of apocalyptic prophecy and we have been studying it for the past five weeks just like revelation the only such book in the old testament this is a book that contains many symbols symbolism of beasts and horns and and and dragons but its meaning becomes more clear to us and we are going to understand how in the end time god's people were supposed to understand the book of daniel you see the prophecies are aimed at the end time so in that sense their meaning was sealed to previous generation it was only in the end the time that god intended his people to understand the symbolism and the full meaning of the book of daniel so the sealed book of daniel we are told then would be unsealed and understood at the time of the end now let us look further at john's announcement but john says continue in revelation 10 he says and the angel which i saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand towards heaven and swear by him that liveth forever and ever who created heaven and the things that are therein and the earth and the things that are therein and the sea and the things which are therein are almost as though he's quoting from the fourth commandment almost as though he's quoting from the sabbath commandment god is being identified as being the creator not here and he says here that what is he saying what is the angel saying that there should be time no longer wow what could the angel mean by that that the angel is declaring that there is no longer going to be any more time is he indicating that this is the end of time is it indicating that this is the second coming of jesus christ is he indicating that we are not going to be ushered into eternity what could this phrase mean that he's saying that there is time no longer well you see in the greek language there are two words that are basically used for time the first one is kairos and kairos means a point of time such as a season and there's also cronus from which we get a word chronology ah cronus means a duration or a period or a space of time and the word that is employed here by by the the apostle john in revel in revelation chapter 10 when he says there is going to be time no longer is cronus so in other words then um whatever this time is the angel is declaring that this particular time period is up this particular time period has come to an end now what could this mean a particular time period that has now come to end and the angel is here in revelation chapter 10 declaring that this particular this mysterious time period has come to an end dear friend let's go back to daniel chapter 12 and we're going to read it we're going to read we're going to read from verse 4 to 9 and listen to the similarity of the language between daniel chapter 12 verses 4 to 10 and revelation chapter 10. let's listen carefully see if there's any key phrase or ideas that are expressed so far in revelation chapter 10 that we also find in daniel chapter 12. let's read carefully it says but you daniel roll up and seal the words of the scroll ah it's a sealed book ah until what the time of the end ah time huh many will go here and there and knowledge will be increased then i daniel looked and there before me stood two others one on this bank of the river and the other on the other bank of the other bank of the river one of them said to the man clawed in linen huh clothing linen who was above the water ah the angel in revelation chapter 10 had one foot on the earth one foot in the land and one foot on the water here's another repeated idea who was above the waters of the river how long a time time how long will it be before these astonishing things are fulfilled and the man clawed in linen huh just similar to um the the angel in revelation chapter 10 the man clothing linen who was above the waters of the river lifted up his right hand ah the angel in revelation 10 also raised his what his right hand wow and he says what bit and his left hand and towards heaven and i heard him swear huh in revelation chapter 10 this angel is also swearing something huh by all what by him who lives forever saying what it will be what it will be for what time and times and what and half a time when the power of the holy people has been fully broken all these things will be completed and it says verse 8 i heard but i did not understand wow in revelation 10 we just read a little while ago that when revelation when john the revelator heard the voices like thunder he said he heard but he did not understand so the ideas here are quite parallel the very same ideas are quite repeated and so these two passages are are basically linked one to another because they contain the same idea it is as if john the revelator is reading from daniel chapter 12 when he is writing revelation chapter 10. wow and he continued by saying he replied go your way daniel because the words are what they are rolled up and they are sealed until the time of the end so it means therefore then that the time prophecies of the book of daniel would be sealed until the time of the end dear friends i asked the question what is the longest time prophecy to be found in the book of daniel and we have done this i think um two two three five nights ago when you look at the 2300 prophecy of daniel chapter 8 and verse 14 here he says and he said unto me for two thousand and three hundred days then the sanctuary shall be cleansed so let us do a quick review of the 2300 day prophecy when we look at the 2 300 prophecy we realize when he studies then daniel chapter 8 and daniel chapter 9 how he gave the angel gabriel came back to daniel in order to give him understanding and that was the longest time prophecy that has been given in the bible starting from the the the from 456 7 bc when the jews were given authority once again by artaxerxes in order to rebuild the walls of jerusalem and we we went along that long time period ah all the way to the time when the messiah um would would would be baptized in 80 27 and when a messiah would be cut off in 1831 and when the the gospel was supposed to go to the gentiles in 1834 and we came all the way down and at the end of the of that time period of the 2300 days and we saw how a day in prophecy represents uh uh uh a year and as we came all the way down we came down to 1844 and realized that what that passage was indicating to us is telling us that in the that in 1844 something happened in heaven and what happened to heaven that is when the cleansing of the sanctuary oh that is when judgment started in heaven so it means therefore then that in 1844 according to this prophecy the 2300 prophecy in 1844 jesus moved from the holy to the most holy place and he began the final judgment that is why in revelation chapter 14 verses 6 to 12 we are told of that of of of that message that has to go to all the world saying that the time of his judgment has come and so we find therefore then that here we have the angel in revelation chapter 10 and he's declaring and swearing that there's a particular time period that has now come to an end my dear friends what is that time period could it be the 2 300 prophecy that the angel is declaring now that the time has come to an end meaning therefore then that now they will be able to understand the prophecies of daniel my dear friends at the center of the 2300 the prophecy is jesus everything about the two thousand three hundred day prophecy is about jesus everything from the beginning to the end my dear friends revelation is about jesus daniel is about jesus my dear friend the theme of the bible is jesus himself jesus is a center of prophecy jesus my dear friends not the beast not the mark of the beast not the dragon jesus the lamb slain from the foundation of the world he is the center of it all and so john continues in in in in in in verse revelation 10 and verse 7 and he says but in the days of the sounding of the seventh angel when he is about to sound the mystery of god will be finished as he declared to his servants the prophets the days of the sounding of the seven angel refers to the end times ah in a time he says the mystery of god would be finished what is the mystery of god well the mystery of god according to the bible refers to god's purpose god's purpose with reference to the future which he reveals to his prophets in other words then we will not know what they are except that the prophets revealed them to us that were revealed to them by god that is why they refer to as mysteries and so for example in daniel chapter 2 remember when the king had the dream of this holy metallic man head of gold grace and arms of silver and severus that was our opening subject you remember and remember that the kingdom of nazar was mystified he didn't understand what this image meant and what daniel and his three friends met together and had an all-time prayer meeting huh and they asked god for the interpretation of that dream and they were given the interpretation of the dream and so daniel was able to go before king nebuchadnezzar and let king americana know ah all your wise men your astrologers uh uh um your suit says they were not able to give the king the interpretation of the dream but i've come to give you not only what a dream is but also to give you the interpretation as well you know what then in daniel chapter 2 daniel is about to reveal the mystery of god to nebuchadnezzar in reference with what will happen in the latter days oh it says the finishing of the mystery of god is his final powerful proclamation of the gospel to the entire world so the question is how was this prophecy to be fulfilled how would this happen in other words how was revelation 10 fulfilled my dear friends this is so sweet this is so sweet you see my dear friends in the 1840s just at the time when 1844 the 2300 day prophecy was supposed to come to an end god raised up a group of people who all of a sudden got interest in to understand the prophecies of daniel they wrestled with that book they wrestled with the symbolism they wrestled with this meaning and as they studied and they studied they became convinced they became convinced that jesus christ was going to return to cleanse his sanctuary that he thought was this earth and that he was going to cleanse his sanctuary in 1844 and so these godly men and women in that movement they did indeed unlock the mysteries of the book of daniel and revelation they saw the symbolism of the prophecies they saw the year their principle they discovered the 2 300 prophecy that i just showed you here a while ago and my dear friends they got one thing wrong they got the meaning of the cleansing of the sanctuary wrong because they thought that the only sanctuary that existed was on this earth and the cleansing of the sanctuary referred to jesus christ coming the second time in order to purify this world of sin and so they thought that was it and so they got all excited and they went all around in new england and and in europe and and wherever anyone would listen and they start telling people that jesus christ was going to come october 22nd in 1844 of course there were many people who says you guys you are crazy because the bible says no man knows the day or the hour when he's going to come so how could you know that he's going to come in 1844 but my dear friends um let's continue let's go back to revelation chapter 10. now back to revelation chapter 10 we see a voice from heaven speaks to john the revelator and this voice asks him to take the book from the hand of the angel my dear friend this is how john responded he says so i went to the angel and said to him give me the little book and he said to me take it and do what and eat it i told her this thing was sweet take it and eat it and it will make your stomach bitter but it will be as sweet as honey in your mouth huh my dear friends it says but when then he says i took the little book out of the hand of the angel and i ate it and it was as sweet as honey in my mouth but but when i had eaten it my stomach became bitter bitter as honey my dear friends the old testament prophets also had a similar experience when i looked at the prophet jeremiah jeremiah says when your words came i hate them up i ate them up they were my joy and my heart's delight to i bear your name god because you are almighty when the word came to jeremiah as the prophet he got excited and so he thought that because he was excited that everybody else was going to be excited just like him but what was jay my experience you know it wasn't the words was sweet in jeremiah's mouth but what was the experience of jeremiah when jeremiah went and he carried the message to the people he says i am not ridiculed all day long and everyone mocks me there was sweet in his mouth they were bitter in the in his experience and he says whenever i speak i cry out proclaiming violence and destruction so the word of the lord has brought me insult and reproach all day long ezekiel ezekiel 200. then i looked and i saw a hand stretched out to me and it was a what it was a scroll which he unrolled before me on both sides of it were written words of lament and mourning and of what and of war and he said to me son of man do what eat eat what is before you eat the scroll then go and speak to the people of israel so i opened my mouth and he gave me the scroll to do what gave me the scroll to what it then he said to me son of man eat the skull i am giving you and fill your stomach with it so i ate it and it tasted what it tasted as sweet as honey in my mouth and he said to me son of man go now to the people trouble go now to the people of israel and speak my words to them go now to your people in exile and speak to them and say to them this is what the sovereign lord says whether they would listen or whether they would fail to listen my dear friends everyone who brings the truth of god's word to his people have gone through a similar experience because you are there in your study and the lord is speaking to you and you have discovered some note of reformation some note of correction some note of promise and you think that your congregation you think that people would hear this would experience the same sweetness that you experience but as you come and you bring god's word before the people there are people who turn against you simply because you're bringing the truth of god's word and my dear friend every preacher of righteousness have gone through that bitter sweet experience sweet in the mouth but bitter in the stomach oh my dear friends i know how to fill baptismal pools i know how to fill churches all you have to do is tell people the things that they like to hear all you have to do is tell people to come to church god wants to prosper you you all the other two tell people all you need to do is sow seed and god is going to prosper you all you have to do tell people come to church you can dress as you like you can eat what you want you don't have to keep any particular day god is going to bless you anyhow god has a place in heaven for you all you have to do my dear friends is lower the standard and a lot of people jump over but my dear friends i'm not here speaking on my behalf i've got to be here telling you the conscience of god i have to be honest to what i'm doing because my dear friends paul says when i would have preached to others i would have been a cast away my dear friends i'm telling you i've been through it many many times but it don't make any difference sometimes remember i preached meetings like this and when i go home my mother would say why you don't leave the people alone people are gonna do what they want to do i could understand her sympathy she's experiences the bitter experience people don't like you when they tell them the truth and so you talk about dress people get upset with you about speaking about dress members of the church get upset with you because you say you're not supposed to christian you're not supposed to wear tight jeans and tight pants and whip up jeans people get upset by dear friends that is the bitter experience but my dear friend jesus christ enjoyed the bitter experience on the cross for me so i must give the message whether men would hear whether they would listen or fail to listen because someday i gotta stand before god's throne and i have to give an account of my story god is gonna ask you did you tell them do you tell them my dear friends one thing i've made a pledge to i'm not going to be going lost i'm not going to hell for anybody eli was lost because eli didn't correct his sons eli was a good man eli was a good priest but he knew his sons was sleeping with a woman in the church and he didn't correct them my dear friends if i don't tell you the truth from god's word because i want you to love me that is blasphemy blasphemy if i don't if i hold back certain truths from you because i want people saying oh my love's pastor edwards oh that message was a perfect that's why i i i advise my my horse say don't talk about me don't say about the message was beautiful and powerful and i'm a man of god and so forth my dear friend the best thing you can do my dear friend is obey the word of the god i don't need confidence i don't need compliments i've received the highest compliments about my preaching it goes in one ear come up the next my dear friends that's a trick of the enemy because as soon as you preach on the people's sin they don't love you anymore [Music] i don't want anybody to compliment my preaching the best thing you can do is obey highest compliment you can play to this preacher is obey the word of god a different that is the bitter sweet experience of every preacher of righteousness oh it is sweet because you discover it it is so sweet but you go and present it before the people and they don't want to hear they don't want to hear different psalms 99 10 says they are more speaking about god's word it says they are more precious than gold huh my my bible here has a little gold changing it's not a real bull this is spray but the bible says that this is more precious than gold more precious than pure gold he says they are sweeter than honey that is in the honeycomb he says how sweet how sweet are your words to my taste they are sweeter than honey in my mouth so my dear friends we had those early believers in the 1840s let's come back to them now they had a bitter sweet experience definitely get a chance go on youtube look at the movie tell it to the world you're getting moving forward the experience that the early advent believers went to tell it to the world wonderful movie wonderful drama of the experiences of those early believers oh they were looking forward to the time when jesus going to come they believed with all of their heart they sold their farms thomas didn't implode their potato fields huh they sold their property in order to carry this message to to others so their house and land in order to pay for trucks to tell people that jesus is coming again what are we doing today my dear friends what sacrifices are we making today in order to carry this message our early point is my dear friend they gave up they all gave they all because they believed in the message believed in the message difference is a bittersweet experience for them and when midnight of october 22nd 1844 came and they realized that jesus did not come oh some of those early believers said they wept all night they wept all night they couldn't believe that they were wrong they knew and they felt the spirit moving in that experience they felt the revival that was taking place all across new england the sight in people's face they knew that it was a holy spirit that was speaking to them and they wonder how could we have been wrong how could we have been wrong dear friends let's look at those bible believers who unlock the mysteries of the book of daniel and the people who rediscovered the second coming oh they were so thrilled they were so thrilled william miller see the church uh daniel chapter two ah all the bees censor foods ah they were so happy as they went around sharing the uh shocking bible prophecy seminar we discovered the truth of the second coming in the 1800s the church were looking forward to a millennium of peace that was a popular message in those days nobody was looking for jesus to come they were filled my death they were thrilled to discover that jesus was coming again sometimes they spend all night studying their bible in in in studying the prophecies the prophecies of the book of daniel were indeed sweet in their mouths sweet as honey oh it was wonderful to see and to understand all of god's truth and how all those truths fit together and so the faithful bible students believed that the cleansing of the sanctuary was the cleansing of the earth by fire that's what i believe my dear friends they made a serious mistake huh they tried to set a date for the return of jesus october 22nd 1844 and jesus said that no one knows a precise day or the hour of his turn but this earnest people set a date anyway realizing really what was going to happen in october 22nd 1844. my dear friends they anticipated that christ would come at the end of the 2300 year period in 1844 my dear friends and when christ in return they were crushed they were bitterly disappointed that's why you know history it is called the great disappointment and now those prophecies that were once a sweet in the experience seemed terribly bitter in their stomachs the sweetness of the discovery was gone they became the subject of cartoons in the newspapers and mockery from their neighbors the bitterness of the disillusioned men threatened to snuff out their faith dear friends say what would god do with these people when christ did not come as they expected yes they were bitterly disappointed but what is god gonna do now what he's gonna do all these people about 50 of them continue to believe they knew that maybe they got something wrong but god was in this they knew that god was in this movement and to these people look like fools in the eyes of the world did god abandon them oh no god kept revealing things to them because the path of the justice of the shining light that shine it more and more onto the perfect day my dear friends i've been preaching for these past five weeks i said god doesn't blame us for getting something wrong they are good christians still keeping sunday because they do not realize the claims of the fourth commandment they love jesus with all of their heart then they are in love with jesus christ but as jesus reveals more and more to them they will come they will come my dear friends they will come they will come god kept nudging them closer to the truth these people had to grow they had to give up some cherished assumptions and god helped them to do that he helped them to see how they had misapplied certain of the prophecies he helped them to understand how certain events in the history of the sanctuary prepared them for the end times and the return of christ and so they started studying the old testament sanctuary but yet to their misunderstanding of prophecy god had focused the attention of the world and the second coming and what happened to these people that were bitterly disappointed oh they grew into an advent movement that spread all over the world and it has been one of the greatest missionary movements in modern times dear friend look at how john described what happened in the disappointment group what he says and he said to me you must what you must prophesy again about many people's nation tongues and the kings wow yes there was a bit of disappointment john the revelator saw that bit of disappointment 1800 years before it happened but they were called to prophesy to the world again and so this enlarged message would now go out to the whole world and that is what happened to the great advent awakening the bitter disappointment led to a new beginning and that's what god does very well he gives us new beginnings dear friends let me take you to another disappointment but there are many people i've seen you know who make fun of the experience of the early advent believers and say because they got it wrong it means there for them that the whole movement must be wrong but they don't realize that was not the first great disappointment in the christian church oh no it wasn't so let me take you to another great disappointment let's remember this is exactly what happened to at the first coming of jesus christ the disciples thought that jesus would come in order to establish an earthly kingdom that's what he thought they thought that here he was going to overthrow the romans and that he's going to set himself up as king and all the disciples would be ministers of government in his cabinet they thought that he was going to defeat the enemies they expected triumph they didn't expect a cross they did not expect jesus to die on the cross and so at the crucifixion after the crucifixion the disciples lamented and said but we were hoping that it was he who was going to redeem israel we were hoping their hearts were crushed in bitter disappointment the disciples hope died with their lord they were crushed and bitter that they may have followed an impostor how could the one who raised lazarus from the dead die but after his resurrection their hope also resurrected and they thought that christ would now defeat the romans and set up the kingdom and they got it wrong again but we are told in acts chapter 1 verses 7 and 8 it says and he said unto them when they ask him when are you going to take over the kingdom lord is after the resurrection now in acts and he said unto them it is not for you to know the word the times or the seasons which the father has put in his own authority ah he's telling them you are not going to understand the book of daniel just yet huh and he says but you shall receive power when the holy spirit has come upon you and you shall be witnesses to me in jerusalem and in all judea and samaria and to the end of the earth the disciples therefore then went forth preaching the gospel and they turned the then known world upside down with the gospel of jesus christ my dear friend what were the results acts chapter 2 and verse 41 says then those who gladly received his word were baptized and that day about 000 souls of what were added to the church my dear friends the disciples after that great disappointment of the cross after the disappointment that jesus was not going to come to set up an earthly kingdom jesus gave them the power of the holy spirit and set them loose on the eastern world and they went all over my death and turning the roman world upside down god gave them power in order to witness on behalf of him in order to witness for the gospel and the disciples went for preaching oh with a new zeal my dear friends acts 6 and verse 7 tells us then the word of god spread and the number of the disciples multiplied greatly in jerusalem and a great many of the priests were obedient to the faith now here is what the record tells us about the disciples huh the record tells us the disciples believed christ was going to restore the kingdom just the same way in which the early advent believers believed that jesus was going to return october 22nd in 1844 ah they were bitterly disappointed when christ was crucified the early believers were bitterly disappointed when they realized that jesus did not come in 1844 and they were amazed at his resurrect they were amazed at his resurrection and here we find they accepted christ's commission to proclaim the gospel to the world my dear friends as the holy believers went back into the book of daniel and revelation they went and they continued to study continue the bible study conjured the bible study and then they fit the pieces of the puzzle together they started reading the book of hebrews and they realized not only were they an earthly sanctuary but there was also a censure in heaven that moses had been commanded to build a sanctuary here on earth according to a pattern that was shown him in the mountain then they realized over 2 300 this um prophecy fit in with not an earthly sanctuary that has been left onto this world desolate jesus christ had ripped the the the curtain that separated the holy from the most holy place when he died indicating that that area had finished things had now moved from earth into heaven that they've discovered from the book of hebrews that we haven't heavenly high priest that is in heaven that is there pleading on our behalf my dear friends and as they look at this they came to the amazing discovery that in 1844 jesus did not come to this world but jesus moved to the final phase of his christian ministry his high priestly ministry in heaven my dear friends the same way christ lost the disciples they believed that jesus was going to restore the kingdom too huh they were bitterly disappointed when christ did not return they were amazed when they discovered that they were living in the judgment hour and they accepted christ's commission to proclaim the gospel into all the world my dear friends when christ died on the cross of calvary the disciples were bitterly disappointed ah but out of that disappointed of 1831 god raised up the new testament church wow [Music] and out of this disappointment my dear friend god raised up a movement called the seventh-day adventist church my dear friends i i i i i humbly submit to you today my dear friends there is no other denomination or christian movement that can go to the bible and show in prophecy oh that bible predicted the raising up of that movement when we study the book of revelation chapter 10 we see my dear friends there god knew about the experience of the early advent believers they knew that they would have been disappointed they knew my dear friends my david this is no ordinary church this is not ordered my dear friend this is not a denomination this my difference is god's lasting movement this is god's lasting movement god raised up the seventh-day adventist church out of this great disappointment the same way we shall raise up the new testament church my dear friends i'm glad today to be a seventh-day adventist you can say what you want about this church but this is god's church god gave the disciples a new beginning and a powerful new beginning and spirit filled new beginning and in 1844 god did it again out of the disappointment of the early advent believers god has raised up a movement [Music] god has raised up a movement want to thank god i serve a god who brings joy out of disappointment oh we serve a god who brings victory out of defeat we serve a god who brings triumph out of tragedy a difference do you realize that this new beginning is the most exciting thing that has happened on the planet today the message of the soon return of jesus christ is being proclaimed all over the world people from the most unlikely places are hearing about this message people from vastly different cultures and all of mankind my dear friend they are making the discovery that we are living in the judgment hour they are making the discovery that jesus christ is coming again and the discovery my dear friend is going to change our planet [Music] dear friend i just want to give you a glimpse give the dreams of the force at work in the midst of the seventh-day adventist movement adventists have always believed in the proclamation of what he referred to as a three angels message in revelation chapter 14 and i've been repeating them for you repeating them for you during the shocking bible prophecy seminar first angel says we are now living in the hour of judgment that message could not have been preached until after 1844 but because of last phase of god's judgment starting in 1844 the messenger says that babylon is fallen is fallen my dear friends and not to receive the mark of the beast my dear friend the message of the three angels is going around all the world my dear friends and we see in revelation 14 the spread of this message those three angels appeared just before the second coming of jesus christ they relate to god's last the great appeal to this planet god's last bread called to planet earth is going around the world right now my dear friends do you know that the gospel is going to all the world and it's both a command and a promise is a command and a promise jesus christ himself after he had breathed upon his holy spirit upon his disciples he told them go therefore and make disciples of all nations there's a command and a promise and he says what teaching them to observe all things that i have commanded you not some things ah all things that i've commanded you did jesus christ command them to give them the ten commandments he said if you love me you will keep my ten commandments if you love me you'll keep my commandments my dear friends montev my devil it is all not ten percent discount not nine of the ten commandments and forget the one that says remember the sabbath and you keep it holy no my this great lasting movement will be teaching people everything that is in the bible the great commission given to all the followers of christ but it's also promised jesus declared my dear friends and this gospel of the kingdom might be preached or ah maybe perhaps we'll be preached no it says that this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations and the bible says then the end will come you know i find it interesting that we say this is happening and that is happening that is indicating that jesus is going to come soon we talk about wars and rumors of wars and all of them and my david i seldom hear people talk about the gospel going to all the world and say look look at how the gospel is going to all the world that means jesus christ is coming soon we tend to look at the negative signs we tend to look at the negative elements of our table but am i different the surely sign that jesus christ is coming again is when this gospel of the kingdom will light up this world with all of his glory my dear friends the revelation the angel of revelation ate my dear friend the bible says will come and would light up this world my dear friend a different facebook would not be able to stop it by turning off our stream my dear friend you two would not be able to stop it because john have signed in heaven my dear friend everybody can see the sun you can't turn off the sun for everybody everyone can see the moon you can't turn off the moon my difference that is how this message is going to go around the world whether i give it or not whether you and i look familiar my dear friend the paris says that this gospel of the kingdom will go in all of the world my dear friends whether we are with it or we are not aggressive it will go on with or without us jesus says even the rocks have to fly out this force will go in all the world this gospel is going to go it's going to be preached whether i do it or not whether i participate or not it's going to go because jesus says the power of his holy spirit is behind it and not even the gates of hell shall prevail against god's church not in the gates of hell dear friend the gospel will be preached all over the world and then the end will come that promises echoed in the beginning of the three angels message ah three angels flying angels angelos means messengers they're flying said then i saw another angel flying swiftness of movement huh speed we are waiting you say well maybe we're looking at how fast things are happening and you know maybe maybe in a couple years time the god's going to go up tonight my dear friend today we have the internet nobody expected the internet something could be happening in london and everybody around the world can be knowing that that thing is happening right away right my dear friends 9 11 took place and then the world changed overnight the last movements are going to be rapid ones the angels are flying while we are waiting and we are looking at titles my different god is on the move you don't have to see it you don't have to participate in it but i want to let you know god is on the move god is on the roof many people look at the same adventist church and they're saying oh my we are having a dying church because how many people are getting baptized how many people are leaving the church the young people are living my dear friends this church started with young people and it's going to end with young people i'm telling you my dear friend i know there's a generation of young people who is coming up who's going to catch the vision just like ellen white my dear friend she was 17 years old when she got her first vision and she was able to guide and direct this church by different discharges will be directed by young people who catch the vision my david but if i want to let you know that this seven-day adventist message is not gonna end in some winter no it's gonna end in a place of glory it's going to end in a place of glory john's sight his sight angel flying in the midst of heaven having what the everlasting gospel meaning the gospel is the same it hasn't changed is the gospel for adam and it's a gospel for the last man who accept it is the gospel of the old testament and is the gospel of the new testament that we are only saved by grace through faith and because of the price that jesus paid on the cross for us it is an everlasting gospel it's the same gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth my dear friends is going through every nation to every tribe is going through every tongue and people that's what he says now when we look at the places like america and europe it's not too hard to believe that the gospel indeed can reach every person but some people say what about the economist of the earth what about those isolated tribes in in some stone age cultures can the gospel reach to them as well too can jesus christ really reach every tribe tongue and people different these prophecies have been fulfilled today in god's last church let me just share some quick examples with you my dear friends the prophecies are going to be fulfilled in god's last the church dear friends let me take you to the remote area of the philippines iraq and gyra one of the most isolated areas on the earth half of the island is used used to be called new guinea many of the tribes living in the mountains are in the anterior they have not been contacted by outsiders for uh for for until the last few days and yet the gospel of jesus christ is give is going to the remotest corners of the earth it's building momentum and how is god doing this my dear friends is because of the power of god even in the absence of evangelists and teachers the gospel my dear friend is after all the story of the power of god it is not some human strategy and human skill it is the hand of god that is moving on people's hearts in every part of the earth my dear friend recently a team of four adventists made a trek to the rocky hills and the rivers and they reached in central philippines and they entered a completely isolated uh um area where people they were animus meaning that they were worshiping nature huh but after hiking through the jungle for eight hours they came upon this village and they realized that in this village there was this large house there where the villagers had had built this land um built this large house and so when they came they were surprised you know because it looked like a church how does people know anything about the church well they explain one villager explain and says well there was a a man that was just in white living maybe he's a revelation angel of revelation chapter 10. certainly to me you need to build a house for god and worship him he also said some people would be arriving who would teach you the bible truth and another villager dreamed of a man telling her that the coming right visitors were good people is that someone else made a dream do you think god needed me and you to take the message around even in muslim land god is speaking to people through dreams just as he spoke to nebuchadnezzar just as he spoke to pharaoh on the throne my dear friend god doesn't need me to carry the message it's a wonderful honor and privilege to be a part of this world to tell people the message of salvation but god doesn't need this poor vessel of clay angels in heaven are willing they're like pit bulls and chains want to go what about but god said no my plan is for human beings to tell other human beings how to find salvation otherwise angels would have finished this work already god is waiting on us but don't think he's going to continue waiting and waiting and waiting even if the rocks have to cry out he says and rocks meaning the most unlikely people that's what the rockstar not literal rocks the whole people didn't expect to be preaching the message they would get the fire and they'll preach the message and then we'll turn around and be jealous of them say they're preaching our message it's not your message it's god's message and so these four adventists began teaching them about jesus christ and his gospel and the villagers accepted the message warmly soon afterwards there were 24 of them that were ready for baptism and so they filled the big house for god deep into the jungles of the island of mindura and the philippines the olangan tribe had been untouched for for a million years but today they are accepting the gospel my difference on god's hand reach into the most inacceptable places of the earth beyond any doubt my dear friend see good we are seeing the fulfillment of that promise in the disciples that you are going to be witnesses to me on the uttermost part of the earth my dear friend there's another reason why the gospel is gathering tremendous momentum reaching in remote primitive areas the gospel is doing something else that is remarkable it is actually breaking down barriers that stood for over half a century i remember in the 1980s and reagan and when the iron curtain fell i remember when the great evangelist mark finley went over to this um um russian um territories and uh and and and there he was coming historical and there he was able to preach the gospel he had to have a meeting in the morning a meeting at midday i mean these people were hungry for the gospel of jesus christ they brought bibles written in the russian language in trucks people were fighting for the bibles i've seen videos of them people were fighting for the word of god they had been thirsty for so long my dear friends you and i have our bible at home on our phones in all kinds of different versions and many of us don't even study our summer school lesson my dear friends when are we going to come thirsty again for the word of god and that is why we have been blown about by every wind abduction saying that the vaccine is a mark of the beast my difference is a symptom that we are not studying the word of god for ourselves we are used to be known as people of prophecy but we are forgetting the prophecies was long known as one of the most rigid repressive of all communist states and the bunkers built through the land and the militant slogans proclaimed everywhere seemed to completely isolate the arbenial people from the rest of the world it was difficult to fathom how the gospel would actually get into albania but it did now the gospel is reaching hearts in albania after uh meetings like this my dear friends even in russian uh trucks i told you by the bible from a kremlin palace of communism my dear friends were used to carry out these meetings in the olympic stadium and people rushing to get in seats were all filled stadiums were filled dear friends i'm talking about mongolia another area in the world that has been almost completely cut off from the gospel but the land was frozen much of the year and the people would traditionally have been suspicious of outsiders but that didn't stop a courageous young adventist couple brad and cathy jolie and so in october of 1991 they began to work there trying to break down barriers in the city of ulaanbaatar and they learned the language and adopted the local customs and the authorities and so two years later they they culminated in one of the first baptisms in mongolia in many decades so brad and jolie they became tragically sick and unfortunately brad paid he paid for that mission with his own life during their first baptism about 40 people stood by as three individuals were lured into the water and raised to walk in units of life sealing their commitment to jesus christ my dear friend there's another reason why the gospel is going around and it's because of adventist radio is making a major world impact there that's because of what god has been doing through radio and television and the internet in january of 1994 adventist world radio began a powerful broadcast at 250 kilowatt transmitter in the new republic of slovakia the station began a 24-hour broadcast of christian programming in arabic in czech in english in french and in german and india's four major languages my different that means that we are now covering all of central and east africa all of india and all of the middle east with the good news of jesus christ my dear friends another powerful adventist transmitter is there on the island of guam sending the message of programming over much of the orient including much of china dear friend then there is a newly built adventist media center in tula russia and the gospel radio programs have been sent through 16 different languages every day my different views programs cover you and much of asia and extending china they are transmitted through five of the russian governments and the most powerful stations different transmitters once used to jump radio signals coming in from the west are now being used to proclaim the gospel of jesus christ praying the gospel my dear friends yes jesus is coming very soon jesus is coming again he's coming again my dear friends oh jesus is coming very soon how do we know because the gospel of jesus christ is going to all the world and it is building momentum you know i remembered i remember just like uh uh uh uh a couple uh years ago men and women who are following in in in the pathway of jesus and saying they want to be baptized the same way jesus christ was baptized and so in rwanda in africa huh 2016. that's like what five years ago dear friends there was a miracle of god's grace going on at the same time were over 2 227 meetings just like this going on over all of rwanda at the same time at the same time my different neighbors i mean members were encouraged to bring just one person to christ to pray for just one person just one not a ten not the whole village just pray for one just work for one and they did my dear friends they walk through different means my difference in order to get in contact with their neighbors in order to reach out to their neighbors and my difference by the time their meetings came to an an end in may 28 my dear friends by the time they came to an end over 100 135 persons my dear friends were baptized gave their lives to jesus christ the record before that my dear friends was 30 000 my dear friend imagine that in just three weeks over 100 000 people gave their lives to jesus christ my dear friends pentecost pale in comparison to that i want to let you know don't look around you don't look in tottola don't look around saying cry don't look around saint thomas don't look around you my dear friends we are living in affluent societies we have food you know we have money on the bank we have food in our refrigerator so we feel satisfied we are not gravitating after the gospel but i want to let you know where as a gospel man i've been growing by leaps and bounds in europe and in america i want to tell you in countries of africa countries of south america my difference there is a great revival that is taking place men and women are eating up the gospel they are eating up this message my dear friends it is sweet indeed to them as honey my dear friends i want to let you know that jesus christ is coming soon jesus christ is coming again gospel is going all around the world gospel is going a different god wants you to be a part ah look at this young men lining up to give their lives to jesus christ there is nothing more beautiful than to see a young man giving his life to jesus nothing more beautiful than to see a young man giving his life to jesus christ but even god wants you to be a part of this mighty movement as we approach the end of time he wants you to be caught up in the momentum of sharing the gospel message of jesus christ and we can accomplish much if we work together dear friend please don't settle for a merely private religion oh no allegiance to christ means that we grow closer to each other and we make a commitment that commitment has to be public commitment and if we are become part of god's great end time movement we need to make a serious commitment of our whole lives to jesus christ and the way the new testament says that we do that is by the means of baptism my dear friend being baptized and immersed by christ being baptized and being immersed by christ means oh lord means that we have put off the world and we're saying leave the world behind and give me jesus dear friend we are given a new title we become children of god we are counted as righteous in christ jesus we receive all the rights and the privileges of being of being the the of having jesus christ as our elder brother my dear friends we can march confidently into heaven and into god's throne room dear friends after a triumphant life at earth dear friends the question is why not take that stand today why not take a stand today why not join up my dear friends with god's elastic church for the past five weeks i've been giving you that message that message that we without a doubt we are living in la earth's final hour without doubt these are the last movement i know that satan will be working with all this evilness of power i know that he will continue to work my dear friends but we can all look forward to the triumph of jesus christ he is coming again and he is coming soon and he is coming for a prepared people my dear friend the call the call continues to go out for those all those who want to be a part of god's elastic church of those who want to be baptized the same way which jesus christ was baptized my dear friend the message come to you this morning the message came to you today do you want to be a part of this last advent movement my dear friend as sure as the sun rose this morning i know that god raised up this church as sure as the sun rose this morning i know that this church would be triumph as soon as the sun rose this morning my dear friends i know that god will continue to work through this movement in order to declare the message of salvation all around the world the question is do you want to be a part do you want to be a part do you want to be a part of that mission do you want to be a part of that mission dear friends how you show that you want to be a part is by making that commitment that commitment to go down into the watery grape of baptism why not make it right now wherever you are send us a message send a text indicating that you want to be a part of god's last church why not do that now even as we pray our loving father and our god we thank you for your words the reminder from revelation chapter 10. that the bittersweet experience that the early pointers went through was only an indication that they were on the right track was only the indication that the same way which you raise up the new testament church you were raising up the seventh day adventist church and lord we know that she has a fault but she's still the apple of your eye she's still your bride she's still your wife and we know oh lord that in the end she will triumph along with all those who are faithful to her oh lord we know that you're standing here with open arms welcoming those who want to be a part of your remnant church your last the people those who keep the commandments of god and have the faith of jesus christ who were predicted whose experience was predicted in revelation chapter 10 what an honor to be a part of a movement that drowns so over 1800 years ago on the isle of patmos help of law that you might be committed that we might be committed to that mission that you have given to us we ask in jesus name amen and amen amen final special music final special music [Music] is here [Music] [Music] midnight for me the one who is pleading on my behalf before his father in heaven oh i'm looking forward to that day i'm looking forward to that day you know today we were supposed to be having a baptism the baptismal candidates haven't shown up today but we continue to pray for them you know i love what city books say he said that god is like the great bloodhound of heaven um even when we try to run away from him he keeps hunting us down you know i don't think i've presented messages like this and don't look at the story of jonah jonah thought he was getting away from god my dear friends the psalmist says even though i make my bed in hell behold thou art there and even when you're not in the presence of church or god's holy spirit is with you there's one thing that we cannot escape and that is the presence of god's voice in our hearts and in our mind minds because indeed god gave us a conscience so we'll continue to work with those candidates and we continue to plan a baptism we don't know when that would be but we know that we haven't given up on them and god hasn't given up on them as well too and we know that god will continue to um to bless and to direct and so at this time i just want to have the benediction as we close our live stream you know after which i will go through um the the um to thank those who are involved in this uh meeting shall we pray loving father and our god thank you for speaking to our hearts today now continue our lord to go before us and guide us and keep us faithful to you until when the trumpet sounds and the dead in christ shall arise whether we are sleeping in the graves or whether we are alive may we be caught up in that first resurrection to live with youth through the ages of eternity we pray in jesus name amen and amen amen and amen
