To me it sounds like they’ve taken elements of TTS and made a Shinedown composition that blends them in as opposed to what I thought of the last album which was that a lot of it was derivative of pop rock trends.
I’m super in love with this song. Tbh I wasn’t that into TTS immediately but it grew on me pretty quickly. I’m optimistic to see how this goes. Even my least favorite Shinedown songs are way better than most other stuff I hear out there these days.

Sounds a little like Royal Blood.
I think this is a great song to lead off with. Obviously, this isn't something you can base the rest of the album off of, but based on the article Billboard did on this song and the new album, I'm definitely excited. It seems like a different direction.
Plus, this music video was wonderfully made. The colors clashing with the various scenes is pretty outstanding stuff.
Overall, I'm definitely looking forward to this album!
I hate to be negative but... Yikes. It sounds like something exactly off of TTS. It's not the end of the world but it's not the Shinedown I know and love. Here's to the rest of the album being better than this 🥂
Yeah I hope so! I was so disappointed by threat to survival cause I get like they shifted away from the kinds of music I love by them.

So amped about this album! I refuse to be negative about anything Shinedown at this point in their career(s).
This song is a great lead-in to the new album and has me chomping at the bit for the full release!!
