hello i'm just doing a quick video an update on my shed insulation and electrics uh video so what i'm doing i'm fitting this uh celatex board now i got this from ebay um and it's 30 30 mils thick cellotex um i think it comes in i think it's something like 1.2 meters by 2.5 meter sheets i bought um four sheets and i've been putting them on the shed roof i'll show you so if you can see that's what i've been doing so just boarding the shed roof i've just just made a start and i found that one sheet gives me about three bits so bear in mind i think the shed was uh nine foot by eleven foot four boards will um do it so i've been doing that using that um and it's pretty good stuff actually if i know what i knew now i would use this you have used the cello text in the wall and not used the polis the polystone irene that i used in the preview that i was using in the previous video because the polystyrene is quite expensive this set of text is cheaper i think the celeste i think the polystyrene was 70 mil and this cellar text is 30 mil but i think this celetex is a lot more efficient because it's got the silver backing on both sides and as i say if i knew what i knew now i think i would have just used the cellotext in the walls i think it would have been better than using the polystyrene sheets that you see in the previous video i'll just show you the electrics as well um i've sort of wired the uh shed i've still got to get the cable in from outside so what i've done i've got gone from this is from tool station i've bought a mini consumer unit and the idea is that i come in from the outside up the wall outside into the top with a steel wire wide armored cable and then i've wired the shed electrics in 20 mil conduits to metal fittings so obviously you know socket i've got a spur unit there which i'm gonna wire to a thermostat i'm gonna put a thermostat there and then i've got one of them tubular heaters here that i'm going to put you know sort of across there sort of thing um i've wired down to a socket a low level socket down there because i'm going to put a hopefully put a fridge freezer in the in this on the bottom of the shed that's for the fridge freezer and then i've wired right around the edge with the uh 20 mil conduit i've gone to a switch and then i've gone to a bulkhead light fitting so the electric's pretty straight forward really i've not not gone um too mad um the uh insulation i've been fixing to the roof i've been using this um stick all it's quite expensive actually it's about five pound 35 um for a tube of it but it's um waterproof uh and it's a sealant as well as um a grab adhesive so it's more it's dearer but i thought to myself thought i wanted to use some better stuff on the roof because i was worried about the boards falling down um so that's what i've been using so that's my just short video a bit of an update of where i've got to so i've just got what i've got to do now i've got to board the rest of the shed i've got some tape so anywhere i've got a join i've got some like silver gaffer tape but i'll put that on the on the joins um and as i said i've still got to put the steel white armored cable in um out from you know outside i've still got to do that but just a quick update on where i am with the shed okay thanks a lot bye
