She Caught the BIGGEST One In Florida’s Most DANGEROUS Canal!!

good morning Beach Bums welcome back to the channel I am in Naples Florida I'm here with Courtney this morning I'm actually on this trip with Brant and Brad and we are on a saltwater Sportsman Adventure they have brought us down here to fish the Everglades fish the beaches down here to see what we can get into so we're pretty stoked about it I've never finished this area I'm walking up to some Jetties that we just saw on Google Maps and a pass area that's along this section of beach we have no clue what's going on uh we're mainly here this morning as a Intel operation here we're just trying to see what's going on so I've got some lures I've got a couple of rods that Courtney is holding for me right now and she's gonna be holding the camera hopefully I can maybe catch a fish or see some fish or at least get some Intel on what's Happening Here while Brent and Brad are going to other areas and they've dropped me off here got a spoon tied on on the bumby stick to start out this morning we'll see what's around let's get efficient all right just got a spoon here and we're going to start tossing it around see what uh see what we can find if anything made it to the end of the Jetties um don't let me get you there Courtney I'll try not to hit you with my cast the First cast of the morning we're just going to move this spoon fairly quickly see if anything starts hitting it nothing's blowing up I'm not seeing any bait spoon may not be the route I've swapped over I've got a yaziri crystal minnow I'm going to try that make making some noise this water is very very dingy and I'm since I'm not seeing any type of activity or life or blow ups I don't really want to throw the spoon because I'm not seeing any feeding fish [Music] what that looks like a freaking uh it looked like a dang grouper just came up and ate some of those mullet just caught like the back half of the fish and it looks like a dang grouper all right we made it to the Jetties we fished for a little bit now uh we're walking you probably don't like me filming you know that's the last time you're like I ain't doing this crap in front of the camera of course it looked like a 95 year old well not wearing the proper Footwear for for Jetty walking but we don't like what we're seeing you want me to get in front of you so you don't have to be on camera yeah but we don't like what we're seeing so Brant and Brad are coming to pick me up and we're heading to different locations if you can see in the GoPro if you can tell sun's not really up yet but the water's mud you can't see you have like probably two or three inches of visibility so I don't like that I'm not seeing a lot of bait I did see this big mullet and it looked like a dang grouper ate one but aside from that that's all the activities so we're still on the hunt we're gonna move locations and try something different you okay all right we don't really know what we're getting into but we're gonna get some shiners and we're going to go see if we can find this area that we're unfamiliar with and don't know if we can get to it and see if we can if we can possibly find somewhere to fish oh it's like sounds promising [Music] do I have shiners perfect he said they have shiners yeah amazing we need I think before yeah can we get four dozen shiners [Music] we've seen like five or six uh cougar cougar or panther panther habitat so evidently Panthers hang out liking all these trees figure out who might be the uh the slowest runner of the four of us are you stretching your legs I think you're getting ready to ride I'm sore getting a little Shiner hook them through the top of the nose just like that that way he can still breathe come over here with Brant toss them out here oh oh there's one there's one for real a bass uh I think it was just a large mouth he was he was swimming off that way I may just let this sit for a second oh there he is he's on a bed oh he's going for it come on eat him oh yeah this guy's scared oh yeah get him get him get him get him oh he's going for it he's going for it get him oh dude he's so scared oh my gosh she's swimming in the grass because he's trying to get away from the bass got him nice he won't eat the live bait but yeah well I got about the ultra light too that is awesome it's like a two pound bass ever see if anything else is fired up out here having some fun there we go first fish in the uh wherever the heck we are I'm not real sure that's pretty yeah way to go wait and it's bad fishing man like it's still fun I love it no it is a lot of fun go catch a peacock all right let's do it so this is a really cool place it's very weird I don't even understand I can't even describe it it's like we're in another country it definitely is there's nothing out here but uh We've pulled up to this spillway and we're gonna pitch out some live shiners here but pretty cool little spot it looks it looks fishy just really interesting scenery and just don't even really know what to say it's uh it's different around here all right I've put on a jerk bait because that peacock came after a Shiner after I started reeling it in so I just want to see if throwing a jerk bait around we'll maybe get one fired up oh oh oh they flashed on it he hit it he hit it yes yes yeah he uh two of them yeah man fired up oh did you see that yeah yeah I think it has to do with water temperature you saw the one that just flat that one was bigger it's like Spanish mackerel fishing you on what do you got do you need help can you get them up what is this holy cow oh dude that's a big one yeah is that like an Oscar here you want a hand lining yeah we can handle on them is this is this four pound yeah yeah all right that's a nice one nice Oscar that's a pretty fish cool so we've seen several peacocks and we cannot get them to eat they will not eat the shiners uh they got fired up on the jerkbait but they're not they're not committing that's a fatty though yeah look at that yeah check that fish out beautiful color very pretty these Exotics we think it's an Oscar maybe yeah they do have a fin on their bottom it'll get you all right there I think that's my PB Oscar yeah TV oh oh oh yep got him there's so much crap is it peacock yay yes heck yes we were leaving seriously we were leaving and uh Brandt's like ah let's stop here was that in the in the grass stuff yeah oh heck yeah you know what if there's probably more down there probably beautiful fish this is a new PB caught my first one yesterday second one today sick yes official yeah get them get them nice fish always wrapping around the pole dude oh oh he's out he's out he's out he's out that's a good one dude nice one good one heck yes nice work all right Beach bomb yeah right in the hole easy there buddy easy peacock bastards absolutely I had our last spot yeah oh there he goes there got him got him got him yeah come on come on oh oh no no came off trying to let hoist him dang that could have been my first pee we're close [Music] yeah he don't want him oh look look oh yeah he's on it he's already trying to eat them got him come on come on look at that look at that man they're aggressive thank you that's the first one I've ever landed my first peacock thanks Brent God Brandt definitely need to get a picture look at that little fella that's a I know I finally got the uh the peacock monkey off my back check out this fish but this is the Florida Everglades all these invasives we've been catching several different kinds of species since we've been here just a beautiful fish I've always wanted to catch one now we just gotta upgrade but uh beautiful fish we'll get them back we uh we're about to leave the area that we're in and while we were leaving we saw another bridge on the way out that we didn't fish on the way in and we decided to Brad dropped down a live Shiner off the bridge into some grass and pretty much immediately hooked up and then Brant caught one so we caught a few in the grass pads like right beside the bridge but there's this Trail it's like a giant flight we're in the Everglades man and it's a sketchy out here but anyway there's a walking path like right beside this canal and what we've started doing is we're just walking by and pitching these shiners on the grass pads and where we've started to find a little bit of a pattern here on these peacocks and have caught a few now we're gonna see if Courtney can catch a peacock you got him oh Courtney bring them up bring about bring them up swing him over nice Courtney she got a peacock I think yours is bigger than mine look how pretty it is and you did it all by yourself good job Courtney and her first peacock bass way to go that's uh that's pretty steady that's a beautiful fish you um I'm jealous you you got your peacock a lot easier and a lot quicker once you started trying then then I did it took her like three minutes yeah it was like immediate hook up way to go here let me get your picture we'll get it back oh oh you're on there you go oh that's a good one real good one oh my gosh oh gosh Courtney oh nice nice fat you have a personal best PB better than my no no no I'm hooked I'm hooked it's on my shirt yeah hey Brad you wanna hold this leg sorry no it's okay that was tough oh man that was uh that was difficult you get Nate oh my gosh all right Courtney once you hold this one cordy's second peacock and already herpb is uh much larger than mine it's okay all right let's get a picture good job we'll get them back oh this is treacherous terrain okay there he goes oh no about lost the phone releases this is nice but look at look at this freaking Hill like I mean I mean what else are you gonna do how short beach look at his head compared to her feet that's how far down yeah and it's like yeah so that was definitely difficult but good job Courtney oh gosh that was immediate oh gosh that's a good fish too I was gonna hand it off to Courtney oh man dude he was he was hungry dude the second it hit the water oh my gosh Mandy choked it that's a good fish well upgraded my PB this is awesome Brent I mean we were about to leave and you know we found this gym uh the bite but beautiful fish here nice peacock I thought Brown was about to hook up too but uh man they're just so cool so aggressive hard fighting for a smaller fish just insane thank you so much
