belittle Aggie won't so let's give him a big round of applause for zombie Sommers Ryan toxic hero all right what's up guys my name is Aggie I've got my couch with me if you'd like to introduce yourself hi I'm Regal I'm tomato anus I'm Teddy and yeah this was the Kiro real quick before you get started I want to thank the gdq staff so so much for getting this back in the schedule it was out for a hot minute but they made room for it so please like give him a round of applause for that seriously and with that I think we're ready to go so time is gonna start as soon as I hit a new game here all right three two one go look you got the saggy yeah we'll see so yeah tomato if you want to run down the lower like real quick all right imagine the 16th century Japan but different so pretty much there's this dude named ition of Sheena and he took over he was a warlord and there's also he I think he has an adoptive grandson named Ganesha ro and he wants to capture this little boy who has dragon's blood in him because then he can make an immortal army and we are the little boys protector and we also have a father named owl and that will be important later sounds all about right yes right now we're just gonna jump thirty million times in a row yeah yeah print on this fiction yet just jump it's faster and actually you can avoid the shots from the enemies around here but I'm gonna try to knock that shot here it it's a little dicey we should be good sometimes you just get shot there's nothing you do about it just pull it out of nowhere yes we're rendezvous with Carell now he's gonna give us our sword so we can actually there's gonna be a bunch of those tutorial pop-ups normally in a run we would disable them but not the gdqs that's fine yeah we're just gonna run through this that's still just the toriel stuff but there is a tutorial bus we don't have to fight it it doesn't really give us anything so we're just gonna go straight to our first encounter of any drill which is not gonna go too well but that's okay so what is this category and what does it mean right so this is all memories all beads which means we are getting most of the bosses so the memories you'd see from each main encounter boss so those you can use to boost your attack power and then the mini bosses branch you pray or abuse which every four of those you get extra health and then there's also some prayer beads just scattered throughout the world yeah you can't actually kill all the bosses in one playthrough in this game just because of the way it was made so we just do as many as possible right that the game allows you to do in one playthrough yeah I believe it's 14 memories and then 40 beads so this is gonna get you oh here we are required to lose the spy so we're just gonna give up immediately but now we got this cool like robot bone thing so that's gonna let us grapple anywhere we want we can equip some different weapons as offhand things on it so we're actually gonna use a couple of those in this run any person you wouldn't normally bother using any yeah we're just gonna be making our way through the the first area here if one of you guys wants to explain like how the general combat works there's like two buns don't get hit so pretty much every enemy in this game in yourself you have both health and posture and you can either defeat an enemy by draining their health or building up their posture and then you can deliver what's called a death blow and each mini boss and boss they have a different amount of required death low amounts to kill them you can look in the top left corner when you fight them and they'll be red circles that's how many death blows you have to perform so you need to build up their posture bar or drain their health that many times more or less and the less HP they have the slower their posture goes back down after you build it back up so right some some bosses their posture will bridge it very quickly so getting damage of their HP bar is pretty good yes yeah so we're using a stealth item here we're gonna do a stealth a death blow on the ogre here the first required boss and then we're just gonna be straight again for the rest of the time here he's gonna try to grab us as the game is going to warn us very inconvenient lis right there but yeah this shouldn't be too much of a problem we just wail on him he'll get staggered it's Fanus backside as much as we can oh you're allowed one grab that's fine that's fine good start yeah and other categories you just skip this guy yeah I think is like the worst dipping around though absolutely or skip and I'm so happy to not do it right now oh yeah whoa we're gonna sleep at death custody yeah so that guide shows up sometimes it just kind of shows in the corner he was he was looking for his moment that's okay yeah I remember when they used to kill that guy for safety back when the game first came out yeah but if an unfortunate start that's fine wait we're rolling them today we see we got our first prayer beat they're defeating ogre also gets you a buff to your potion item I mean isn't terribly relevant to us but it's nice so if you're unfamiliar with the game you may be questioning like how he was able to die and then just spawn again the game's secure Oceano dies shadows died twice though you're able to die and respawn at least once every time you like kind of Kindle this game version of a bonfire of your favorite Dark Souls so we have a little bit of a safety net in those you may notice he skipped a couple bosses at the end of the run he's gonna buy the beads for those bosses you don't actually fight everyone Yeah right that's why it's most bosses not all bosses so if you skip a boss and then progress the game to a point where that boss is no longer there it's gonna put that boss's reward item in a special shop that we can spend some money on instead of fighting she's gonna dodge around that snake real quick instead of taking his eye out this is much faster than going into the the tent oh yeah way best way thirty years we don't get to see the wiggle boy though a little are we gonna make a quick detour pick up an eco sugar here that's gonna just give me an attack buff which we'll use very shortly here up next we have gyobu masataka oniy one who will very kindly introduce himself for us important to note that this is the Spanish I believe very important to note this in Spanish young and you'll see why right here because this is just hilarious he likes to make an entrance so rather than fight this guy Agee goes on top of this tower and does this like delayed jump where he jumps off with the air more or less right as soon as he falls off of a Ledge he's able to run over to this side and kind of bait this guy into running off his flip he would also ask sunlight he won't go off immediately but he went off pretty quickly there yeah he was quite cooperative yeah you got the fast cycle they also like when you grab ledges are kind of like magnet up there it looks yeah funky if you're looking at closely yeah we're gonna kill that one random mob there that's gonna be important for a quest later on that will circle back to in a couple minutes now like that you can sit at the shrine through the gate yeah we're just fitting across the wall here that's fine a lot of popups yeah tell me about it there's there's quite a bit when you have a the game without them so we got our first memory there's though our attack is just a little bit boosted here which is gonna be good because we're heading to the ball now the bowl is I think the only enemy in the game that actually got nerfed on the current pets we're on an older patch though so we're gonna have to deal with him and all his glory luckily we do have the echo sugar from earlier so we can take care of me pretty quickly so we're just gonna use the real quick and then bait him into the corner and hopefully it's not him right away you can't stop them down there sometimes it doesn't let you but it's doing some bull parkour yeah man that is bull taken care of awesome how long do you think it takes them to tie all that straw to his ball I'm gonna say at least a couple hours once I can't imagine he stays still for that today we're gonna kill this guy off real quick he's gonna give us a key to get in this little building off to the side here we're gonna make a big jump and this is actually the start of the game area right here so we've already backtracking a bit they were just gonna go into this little house grab a prosthetic weapon the spear we already picked up the shuriken earlier before ogre and then we're also gonna get the firecrackers so those are gonna be the three tools that we're gonna use throughout the whole run if it was let me pick it up there we go say up next is lone shadow this is the more like traditional fight in this game so we're just gonna land on his head and then just mash r1 until he does something it's the basically what I'm gonna do here is just spam him with the text and eat so he does those small clings when he does a big one that means he's gonna counter-attack and that's when I want to go on the defensive and deflect his attacks to get posture damage they were just gonna trade buzz back and forth until he goes down very good today as mentioned earlier we're gonna buy six of the different beads which we need a lot of money for so we're gonna need I think twelve thousand by the end of this so we can actually just like suction up money that as we kill enemies this is that little ability I'm using there and they're also picking up these bolting coin purses and big coin purses and all that yeah so the coin purses will stay in our inventory no matter what and we're gonna get about ten thousand worth in coin purses but the other two thousand is just gonna be in spare change in our pocket and what happens when you die in this game like it actually died with no respawn you lose half of your money and so I cannot die too often otherwise I'm not gonna have enough by the end of the game to actually buy all the beat up next we got snake eyes so again we're just gonna enter with a stealth glow and then we're gonna do something called a dead angling room so we're gonna shove her in this corner hopefully she goes for a grab so you can deflect it she does and then we're just going to not face her but it pacer enough so that our sword connects and repeatedly staggers her into this corner good they're not the enemies aren't able to block your attacks when you are dead only when you're dead angling them so they're gonna use that on some other bosses later on yeah this will be a recurring thing this is all food the only grab in the game you can deflect say unfortunately she slipped out of the corner bit a hair hole get the spots can be pretty annoying yes we're gonna make a quick detour for a beat here and then we've got a bit of a long trek over to the next checkpoint so you can probably fit in a donation fantastic first up don't want to let you guys know that you guys are making a critter progress on that goose any % run we were at eighty eight thousand five hundred twenty dollars at 100,000 people we have one hundred fifty dollars from John alone II says it's been an incredible week with even more incredible runs here's to another agdq and back to the normal sleep schedule honk thank you alright say we're gonna take a stop at this next Idol here and do a little bit of shopping and questing a little bit so I mentioned that I killed that one little rat and I mean right after gyobu so we're gonna complete the rest of that quest here so that's gonna get us the Ashna skill book which it gets us access to the itchy monkey combat are you get some very useful skills yeah which it's just a completely busted like special combat move that we can use against a lot of different bosses and then we also have to do this quests you progress the main story it's kind of where there's some later game skovox that are just way worse than this one seems to be like the best one yeah there's only like two combat arts that are worth anything at all the rest are just a waste of your time once that you mangy and wants double it Jumanji yeah okay yeah there's three that are way through time those two and then mortal trouble each is pretty good okay mortal draw you get for free though anything yeah yeah today we just bought the Firecracker there and then we are going to turn in the quest with our boy okay so now he's told us to kill her and look we've already done that good job good talk yep there's still tutorials popping up what the heck it goes on we'll go on yeah yeah just another extra beat here and then we're gonna work back to the temple to actually get our prosthetic tools and then we're back on the road so you could add a donation or to sounds great Gav 42 cents is $25 says my grills and I have loved watching all the amazing noticing a theme to the donation mm-hmm it's perhaps alright Orioles I I know it's the ridiculous that's just how it is now we're warping back to where we left off now we're gonna go through these misty forest here just pick up a few items and then we can actually skip right to the end normally it's like a big winding path you have to go through but um we can do some clever jumping off a tree to get straight to miss Noble yeah this is a really cool and easy to do skin oh yeah there was a headless boss down there that is one of the ones we thankfully do not have to deal with they give special items not beads so we are not interested in them yeah that's why it's not all minibosses mm-hmm all the mini-boss to be skipper like super terrible to fight to so yep that's the skip right here another thing I just get earlier was like get your min warriors off this guy love man super easy this is a pushover boss yeah you literally just mash r1 there's nothing more to this but you got to love the noodle boy people have died the day before Wow could you imagine dying yeah could you imagine okay so we're just gonna do a big leap down into mibu village here and then we're just gonna sprint through the whole town here so the next boss is a little conflict so regal if you want to try and explain that so he's gonna be using items in his inventory to move the corrupted muck slightly backwards to jump off object in the arena to get a deathblow woman before the boss could even see that he's in there right hopefully it doesn't go wrong because like you only have a certain amount of items to use on him but I think I asked him back up for it yeah I did pick up some ash normally you would not have to but just in case yes I do not looks like pretty bad if you mess with oh yeah like in a PvE like it's pretty much you reset definitely this is probably my favorite boss fight in the speedrun it's it's really cool first off though we are gonna make a slight detour to grab a prayer bead hopefully I can get this jump here oh okay I didn't need a backflip but I didn't even jump at all so now we got to do this awkward back Oh anytime it's really left Thanks there you go Oh Oh all right what if we just went inside see obviously there's a little bit slower but I hate that jump out of the water it's gross ideally you want to do a little wall jump off of the tree branch there but it is pretty precise who's just leaving all these coin first night I know you're responsible so yeah we're just equipping our items for the run so we're gonna open with these snap seeds and then firecracker here in the bud so yeah I'm skirting around the outside so we were behind her now and she does not know we're here even as we hit her with all of these items she's just completely oblivious I got far enough and jump on her gun all right so what is beating this boss give us excellent question thank you for asking so as you can see we got the mibu breathing technique in addition to her memory and what that does is so that is gonna allow us to dive underwater which we're going to abuse immediately by diving underwater out of bounds which you can probably imagine what happens then you do that but you'll see in two seconds this is probably one of the only games are swimming as faster than running I've ever seen it's kind of crazy it helps when you can swim literally anything oh I need to one more time so how are you gonna get out of bounds so there's literally just a hole in a wall like it's a flat wall but like the middle of it doesn't have collisions for no apparent reason how was that found we have a collision viewer yeah the thing is skips that is a very very useful tool so yeah we're just gonna do it big delay jump off of this and just lie through the wall oh of course and it takes forever to teleport isn't a bad jump in this I think it's like 10 seconds at a before it's something like that mmm so what Homer bones like four seconds or something yeah I think I think it's like a yeah for this one merit try to get very high awesome wait for it and now we can fly this is air swimming shout-out to capitaine for finding this so now you can pretty much go anywhere you want in the entire game but there is a bit of a caveat to it yet the kind of pretty precise of where you go in the border because if you go to places out of order it just will mess the entire game up yeah yeah it will actually kill you if you go into the wrong places there's a lot of deaths plane just hang around it was like a void like three or four it yeah so we have to service and different patches of water and do quit outs like this you'll get the map to load properly do you guys want to explain the the kind of structure of the game and in terms of like what items we need to get to get to the end here okay so there's like three items in the beginning or three bosses you have to kill one of them is the monkeys which we gonna go to you right now you already beat the month another one that we can Ichiro you know the main back okay now wave it I'm sorry I'm so you're you're the Lotus we skip 'if we go back to him later I think yeah so there are multiple endings in the game as it was mentioned earlier we're doing the one that allows for us to fight the most amount of bosses but in order to complete the game you need three main items and that's the lotus flower the mortal blade and the shelter stone if you already have the shelter stone that's what we got for killing the corrupted monk which also gave us the me blue breathing method or technique which is how we're able to dive we'll get the Lotus from killing guardian ape and we will be able to get the mortal blade both after we killed in Ichiro and also after we killed the folding monkeys now we're gonna do the folding monkeys first but we can't go get the mortal blade until later because otherwise the game will just pretty much lock itself oh yeah so we're gonna get that checkpoint we'll come back here later for our dear friend Roberto Arabelle chose dad rather yeah but first we're going to jump on the screen apply a stealth sugar and then if we just hop over this branch oh we're falling out of bounds here I missed that the platform I was going for though so we're just gonna fall for 30 seconds and completely missed the target and other fromsoft games you could quit out and reload while you're falling but you actually can't open the menu while you're falling in this game yeah wait yeah when when a key jumps out of bounds and he's falling um he's actually trying to then just grapple up and into the folding screen monkeys like arena because it is always loaded underneath your map so it is down here you just have to like fall really far to get to it yeah I need to take a big leap in jump here get far enough and then we're gonna just crapple one of the trees there to cancel all the fall damage and survive although unfortunately he loaded the monkeys so they're not be in the same places before which can make this a little harder am i catching sugar is also gonna timeout about halfway through this fight probably this might get a little messy so this boss fight isn't like your traditional boss fight where you have one big enemy you have four monkeys who are running it around and then some spirit monkeys as well the for monkeys represent like the you know evil do no evil hear no evil speak no evil so the other four of them there's an invisible one right there that's the do no evil monkey each of them have different attributes like one can see really well and if he sees you he'll run away one can hear really well one is really loud so if he sees you he'll make a lot of noise and then all the other monkeys will run away so it's kind of a puzzle of the boss fight instead of a regular boss fight and usually it takes a while to figure out the best way to do this wow it's a bit unfortunate and it usually it'll just be chasing around the monkeys like we kind of have a chase about to start right here I'll take it it really hasn't that's true so now that we've killed the monkeys will be brought to the inner sanctum and this is where we get the mortal blade which is one of those items we mentioned earlier but we can't get it yet otherwise we'll destroy the game so we're just gonna get the checkpoint for now take some of our memories get our tech we're also going to get some health of but um I actually need to do for a strata I'm not just doing this for safety and then we'll also finally be getting our skill points to use and pick up the mercury counter which is very very useful and then we also get the EEG monkey I mentioned that's one nice thing about this category is you get all these extra beats so you can get extra health or safety so now we're off to finally encounter again um rather than the other way around with the monkeys oh how are we gonna get taken Ichiro thank you for asking so I could air swim up there but considering I just missed that jump and lost a bunch of time I'm going to opt to do a different if instead this is called dojo so normally you would have to climb up to kind of halfway up this castle and then go inside and work your way up from there but if we use a precise to jump out of a window sill we can just get straight to the top oh we can see those good yeah also we get to see this which is just beautiful the Aston people have issues with this ticket because of the area's loading you know just three simple game where you're trying to do this good so right here we're just gonna real quick slap the right and then we are at the top of the tower I'm gonna real quick and then we are going to abuse the heck out of this guy and this is the guy from the beginning who cut off our arms yeah he's got a come on we mentioned dead angling earlier this is another good example of that yeah so we're just gonna put him in the corner and make him think about what he did okay he's just gonna be oh I all right I somehow keep managing to like snag defeat from the jaws of victory here I'm gonna try and bait him back in that's fine he should stay all do it for real we have one more phase good job so far yep secret third phase yes the phase three is actually really easy he's gonna get these lightning attacks I suppose is actually really good for us because we can just jump up and deflect them for big damage so ideally he just does about a gun thank you yeah right and he's done very good good job [Applause] it's a pretty cinematic gym with that taken care of we've got a little bit of plot to go through here basically just gonna meet up with Kuro and then we're gonna talk to Easton and actually learn about the mortal blade and then after that we can go get it so we could probably fit in a key and then we'll be back on our web so the the next destination is the sunken valley which is just the absolute worst place there's gonna be a bunch of guys that shooting at me and I just have to hope they don't hit me this parts really annoying this is uh I think gun for it yeah do you use the sugar at this party I do not no no I didn't do that stir it makes it a little easier but still you're just praying you know catch oh yeah real quick we're gonna take a dive into the water here say hello to another headless again don't have to worry about him but he is okay with the worry a little bit yeah I've never been killed by that attack in my life if the slyest normally hits me but that was alright this is taking longer than it should yeah he's just surrounded by money so we're interested in grabbing that from him so why wouldn't someone just air swim everywhere in this category well there's I mean there's mini-bosses like everywhere just literally everywhere so I mean we have to defeat them so there's not really any point where we could like air swim to speed things along just cuz they're there's so many bosses in this game it's ridiculous a lot of them are used but still that and they get out of here swim you have to oh geez to get out of here some you have to like find a like tunnel of water somewhere else and like get out of the water Oh what is happening where we dropping boys taste of what's to come really that's the easy part see that's a little unfortunate I don't know why I didn't grab that ledge at first I press the button so sometimes it'd be long but it sometimes it really do these I'm stuck here huh yeah luckily again I said that we'll lose half our money every time we die it's still early game so we don't have much to lose so what's our goal for how much money we should have so he want like 2,000 to 2,200 by the end and a lot of that is gonna come in the last about 30 minutes of this round gotcha but you have a lot of coin purses you can pop right yeah yeah I'm gonna pick up some extra items along the way just to try and be safe with things so it should be okay unless I really dropped the ball which we we've had some trouble so far but I had the ball shot out of your hand yeah well first case we just like don't play a bead still glasses we'll just pretend see a quick little detour to pick up this bead we actually want to go the opposite direction I'm gonna use an aggro chain here to warp back to where those guys were shooting me from first so yeah an aggro chain is pretty much where if you are kind of hit a checkpoint along where you're walking and then enter combat and you like keep running you're still in combat you won't really activate any more checkpoint locations so when aggie done quits out of the game it'll be brought back to that original checkpoint spot from before you get combat so right there you just use it to backtrack a bit while still maintaining the progress of picking up that prayer beef yep the shame is not used too much in the Rumba there's not just too much opportunities for it unfortunately yeah and this one again there's so many bosses we have to go to that really just there's no needs to be warping around much yes soon they use that as a way to prevent you from d.a growing the enemies like you could do in the other Souls games well you can actually use it to your advantage to just warp back and forth don't come so yeah we're about halfway through the valley of death here we're gonna fight another snake eyes there's no corner to put her in this time but we do have Ichi monkey which as I said is very broken so we're just going to ET her in the face over and over again select one attack in between each et if you're wondering I I believe the deflect window in this game is somewhere between a third to half a second from the when the attack nice yeah a lot more forgiving that in Dark Souls but still fairly precise good job the fun Strether just block back through the face over and over at this ports this is it the worst part of this there's so many people shooting me here if I get shot there's nothing I can do here you gotta hit midair means he'll just keep falling to the ground but there's no ground you just died yep it's pure random one more scary jump and all right we should be pretty good from here all right up next we have a centipede giraffe long which is a name I I mean just look at him I don't know where they're getting two wrath from the Baldo from the Soul Calibur yeah this is a fight for the Perry fans out there yeah Sekou really is secretly just a rhythm game this guy really shows that Wow yeah I accidentally buffered an extra attack there so I got off my groove [Music] good job another quick detour for a bead here and then we are finally getting back check for that mortal blade so if we want to do some donations this is a good time fantastic gonna let you guys know we are at 97 thousand dollars for the ghooost game run but ape it was probably one of the most famous bosses in this game he is a total nightmare casually ideally we're gonna be able to stop mock him straight through phase 1 and then we have the sphere in tow for phase 2 which will do a ton of damage to its peers really good to have for him maybe we've got a bit of swimming and jumping over there that's one of those fights where either goes super smoothly or if anything goes wrong yet totally play catch I think they get yeah figure it out again so we don't have to really confront the snake at all in this run ya know he's just kind of in the background chillin there is an ending where you would have to take care of them but that ending is not the one we're going for it cuz it does not encounter all the bosses he's just vibing yeah he's just biting yeah somebody decided to give these monkeys guns and swords and stuff follow what's the gun for armored them that makes sense cuz we're gonna pick up a few more items here one more eco sugar and then we're gonna get a purifying agent and what that does is though when we use that we get a resistance I'm sorry pacifying agent so to get resistance to a fear status effect that the Apes gonna try to inflict on us and because we got those health upgrades earlier we're gonna use the ash to Riku which cuts our health in half but since we've you know boosted it up that's not too big a deal but between that and the pacifying agent we're gonna be able to tank his first Scream and hopefully stagger him right away but that's where phase 2 phase 1 we're just gonna firecracker Andy Tamaki until he dies all right this is probably like the biggest debate oh well oh yeah for the year games I was pissed yeah all right yeah so the pacifying agent and then just buff our attack as much as we can switch the spear and hopefully he screams he does that happens like 5% of the time marathon like marathons baby and now we don't have enough pills you got this babe yeah it's a little early on the deflect there that's that's unfortunate yeah if there was a boss that I - it was probably gonna be this one is he one of the more troublesome bosses in sight absolutely okay I'm gonna use another eco sugar here because I really want to do this phase one's good phase 1 is actually harder than phase 2 it's without this technique here you out of pacifying agents I am out of pacifying agent yes we only had the ones so we're gonna do this a little bit differently and I'm probably gonna save the ash tree grant divine confetti z' for later fights as well so we're just gonna have to do this vanilla at least you got the spear yeah yep thanks just one crossed for use for paper doll I guess spirit emblem whatever they're called oh my goodness today here he's got an opening for the spear so if we pretty close got it often job [Applause] so now that we've killed the guardian ape we go back here and we pick up the Lotus which is the third of the three items that we mentioned earlier that are required to get to the first endings of the game right so now this spawns a land the same location can each her was that owl is our adoptive father cousin I mentioned earlier he's not a very good father young walking individual he's like at least three seconds beg ya real quick we're gonna get another attack up and then buy one more bead which I'm gonna have to sell one more bag than I'd like to because we lost some money earlier but that's okay how are we going to get up towards our so again we could air swim up there I respond is cancelable either by entering a body of water or we can trigger a cutscene and there is a cutscene for owl but we're not gonna do that because there is a yes rikku sugar in the water over here and we need as many as those as we can get and what exactly does a Yashiro coos do for people who aren't aware right so it counts our hat our cuts our health in half which isn't a huge deal cuz we don't have much to begin with but it gives us I think like a 25% damage boost or something like that it's it's a pretty sizable amount I thought it was like double damage maybe I don't know anything maybe it was known as a Yolo sugar use it all the time that's like the best item yep alright hopefully this one goes better than can eat so we're gonna try to shove our dad in the corner here this is a pretty scary fight I have to hope that he cooperates if he gives me a bad opening attack it's gonna be really hard to get it's a lot worse than a churro is always like hundred percent you'll get him the first time and if you don't get him in the corner it's much worse than Genichiro yeah he missed not Aggie but uh the boss he just the boss convinced that's how bad this game is what do you think we got him though yeah there we go okay we gotta we got a ball stuck so does he have any attacks that you can do while he's in there that can throw it off and not in this part at the opening of phase two he can do an attack that might break him out but we're gonna firecracker him just to make sure that he gets done so that doesn't happen you'd also just dodge it - he's like the big safety all right Oh killing it so far dude glad that worked out well it's not pretty when that doesn't go yeah now that is a very very slow fight and terrified miss cheevus not work with us so I will is kind of the branching point in the game you can either choose to continue to side with him because with him you follow what's called the iron Code which is that your father your parents like you must obey them overall but because we want to protect the blood boy we are going to disobey our Father and break the iron code and that leads us to the other endings in the game which have more bosses than just siding with our dad because if we sided with our dad the game would just end right here Yeah right that is where any person would leave off right there so we we decided Alan then we'd fight Asian right now instead of later there's a lot of dialogue here yeah there is just conversation after conversation after conversation here because we're trying to unlock a a sort of hidden ending that we're gonna allow us to fight a couple more bosses than normal to keep things rolling otherwise we'd have to go back to an idle and rest every single time which is obviously slower so after all this lore dump all this exposition what what's our goal gonna be right so the initial conversations that we had with corrode sets that the immortal sevens ending so now we can get to the found head palace which is where it's pretty much the final area of the game this set of conversations with Emma gets us to the purification ending and at the end of this conversation string she's gonna give us father's Bell charm which is going to allow us to get to a Hirata state flashback sequence that um normally you're not able to access and you can go to Narada earlier on the game but there's really no reason to yeah you can go back to it later with yeah we skipped a lot of content of the game right now so but I mean basically it just makes more sense to do it when we're super powerful then struggle our way through it so the back half of this run after the divine dragon fight we're gonna fly through so many many bosses and bosses okay for now again just keep them rolling this way we got a good morning two minutes left it appears like the converses we just hired her she's like you know if they cut off his head right you're like Oh gross no so that's why we're doing this ending is to get the branch from a cowl and I think the tears of the Dragon so then instead you can make like yourself a sacrifice right so curl can live on right so as we talked about earlier Genichiro he wants to create an immortal armoury army using blood boy's blood so we want to help out Kuro and we're going to perform this like we want to pretty much sever him from the whole dragon's blood thing yes the immortal severance we want to do all that and that's what it requires the items that we've gotten so far the mortal blade is not supposed to be able to be drawn by anyone who's mortal you like die instantly when you take it out but because we died twice we can do it but yeah so pretty much we're just trying to help out core Oh make it so that people can't take his blood and become immortal with it Genichiro some more lore he we technically fought him we fought him twice now we did kill him at the end of one but he drank pretty much a man-made re-creation of the dragon's blood so that's why he's still living even though we've kind of killed him twice by now yes we finally got our hands on that belts arm so we're gonna hold on to that for just a little bit first off we're gonna go through Fountainhead palace the big boss here is the divine dragon which is very cool stuff he's boss opening up though we do revisit the corrupted monk fight and it's gonna be similar we're gonna bounce on our head a lot still but there is one phase at the end where we kind of give her a chance to the monk just get cheesed in this game yeah we skipped the the rope dude cutscene yeah that's a weird one I don't fully follow kill I love him I don't think I've ever seen that Cuttino oh he's awesome was gonna burn this being too much Oh luckily this is a redo just put out and you can just do it again as many times as it takes yeah the positioning to get this deathblow to work is very precise you're not intended to be able to do this this was patched out and the current version but now we can get it to work in this again this is kind of a redo of the fight that we did earlier of the boss we kind of cheese to walk backwards a bit that was like an illusion and this is the actual corrupted monk that were now fighting right so she's gonna do this like a shadow attack but she's to come leave yourself open and then you kind of fight for third phase yeah so she's gonna do one big spinny attack right at the start and then she is apparently very allergic to firecrackers because she's just going to keep seizing and we're just gonna eat her up between firecrackers awesome [Applause] really cool animations on the story I like to imagine it's a centipede screaming there [Laughter] so so far we've been fighting a lot of big bosses aren't there a lot of mini bosses we still have to fight though yeah the large majority that many bosses are to come we haven't touched a single drunkard yet and there's four of those and there's like two more lone shadows there's this lady who's gonna throw lightning at us normally you're not supposed to be able to go in the water and tell me to feed her I dipped just a little bit too early their joke's on her we died twice and we just did a little hasty if I respawn there that's fine say I'll run back and do that again basically we want to block her lightning shot on that little piece of wood in the water nice okay didn't lose any money that's what that means a percentage based chance for some reason I don't know why they don't Kelly thank you there we go basically it's just a 30% random chance to not lose your bunny it's honestly a half-baked mechanic that I don't really like that much but like Dark Souls we just pick up your soul pilers yeah yeah but you lose out on so much lore though because then there's the the rot that people get in their lungs and yeah all right there we go now we should be able to outrun her next shot and then get in the cave before she gets a third off so thick that as you see down there yeah there is a large carbon here which we're going to hopefully avoid he's gonna take a swing and we're out of there that's worth clapping for I go I'll take a food fooled that big fish so we are at the end of the area now the dragon is up that way but first we're going to backtrack a bit take it from like you know from the opposite side of the arena just a little bit faster today we're gonna take care of that lady throwing lightning at us and then we are going to fight another Bowl but this one's gonna be much much much easier gonna get some revenge on this lightning guy the enemy we're about to fight who throws the lightning they also have like a soccer ball yeah I don't know what the deal with that is that the hopefully she doesn't hit me with it so we're just gonna shake it out of the sky once you jump this attack yeah say there's one mini-boss out of the way we're gonna take a quick swim to grab a prayer beat at the bottom of this lake the Morehead lists to give trouble these ones are gonna throw rains attack at us hopefully this just works out timing wise or they're just not gonna do anything at all that was fine with me okay okay then perfectly just another straight prayer beat there and now we were going to and the thing with this bull is this actually works for the blazing bull as well but if you throw firecrackers onto the bowl from Stealth it freaks out super super hard and we'll just run straight into a wall and immediately kill itself it's like a hit and intended way of killing it yeah oh you get the flip messed-up looking bull I don't know what his deal is yeah he's not looking well he's missing some face meat okay with that all out of the way now we are going up to the dragon the dragon is a pretty interesting fight yeah that would be one way to describe it very different it's in uh yeah like the folding screen monkeys is different because it's like a puzzle and this one's just different it's a very cinematic fight yeah it's more of a just like an autoscroller set these kind of thing than something you can actually speed up that much we will have a couple strategies for it but well we'll see how it goes as the two phase device so first off there's gonna be a bunch of little dragons and then we're going to do a bunch of steep attacks to kill those all at once which is intended but I didn't know it was a thing you could do casually and then the big jack is gonna spawn and that's where it gets a little bit slow these guys are not terribly pretty you also notice that Aggie he doesn't do perform any deathblow or tries not to perform that blows on them because they'll often just lose time by doing that where you could just be attacking more enemies right the only a certain amount of these are gonna spawn at a time so we're going to try and get as many out of the way as early as possible to make room for the others to spawn up as this tree will despawn eventually so ideally the other dragons will spawn somewhat near it unlike that guy and we can sweep them all before another tree cycle pops up also if they're under the tree like that I can't get a deathblow Aaron just gonna pick up this one extra right now for the big boy so the the main way you're supposed to attack him here is lightning is gonna land on these different branches here we can bait him into doing attacks where he dips low into the ground and we can actually hit him with our regular katana here which he behaves very nicely that compat so random chance yeah unfortunate we're just the luckiest guy today hopefully I don't get gifts here okay yeah we just have to get his health to a low enough value and then he's going to do a big final attack where we can finish him off [Music] [Music] we're just gonna take it slow here wait for one more lightning you do not want to have to redo this buy it because it takes forever that posture bar is such a liar that's so forth yeah the posture bar means nothing there it's all about his health value long shot did guys there yes but he's mad now he's gonna do a bunch of the tacks in a row and then one big flurry and that he's just gonna give up and we're just playing keep-away for now all right here it comes who's the old it's got the grapple - yeah that one randomly disappears sometimes yeah so dragon taken care of we get this dragons to here which we need for the ending we're going for him and then we that gracious - yeah the story was a forced gift so yeah we can't access the final boss now but again we got a lot of cleanup to do so we're gonna make our way back through the outskirts first and then I believe after that we're going back to the hidden forest for some bosses and then finally into the erotic memories so normally what's the last thing you do in this room so okay yeah normally if I was going for a world record or a TV I would want to do the photo boss about 10 minutes before the actual end of the run and then we would go back and kill Oren as our final boss just because she's really out of the way and there's a bee by her that we need to dive underwater for but we can't dive underwater until we get to the end of hidden for us so we can't do it all at once but yeah we're gonna do the final boss class through the marathon because that's way cooler yeah very anticlimactic to do with the right now they're gonna have a pretty interesting stretch here to kill this guy yeah this is a super super scary part of the run this is our first drunkard and by far the hardest so he's got a ton of health so we're gonna hopefully do one stealth blow for one health bar I barely made that guy if they're gonna still Lert randomly and cancel those so many and then we're gonna try and bait him into this pile of explosives here and hopefully one of the other enemies is gonna shoot it they do and there's gonna do this whole posture awesome and he's done all right that is like really finicky advice it's a huge reset point it comes like an hour into the road Meow's annoying yeah if the enemy doesn't feel like shooting the fire the explosive file there there's just nothing you can do you're lighting it normally is a nightmare I think it like one or two shots here's something to lose like 30 seconds trying to fight him normally or get like lose the entire run diagram say we used our lucky item ability there to get another belt arm real quick so that is the one we need to get to be first Hirata state visit and then we already got the belt arm for the second one which we will go to in just a bit first off we've got demon of hatred very scary boss like ultra hard and like optional boss pretty much like a Dark Souls boss before yeah it's like mana wait where are we fighting him right now so you may notice that this is the same arena like yogi was in the warden a tight if you remember what we did to go boom we might be able to pull off the exact same thing here thankfully you just need him to jump on over here real quick oh okay that's interesting dunno rocks don't protect you I guess not it's foolish really all right he should be in position now he's gonna get stuck on this tree right here so you've got all the time in the world to go over to this tower and do our little children yeah nice and then he should just be walking off right now yeah but he's already going to it yeah that that doing that delayed jump like that is very difficult yeah it is a bit trickier than you would imagine luckily though when you have all the time in the world to do it if you like really yeah with Gilbert he's just running around the arena so really if you don't get a first try he's gonna run into the town worst-case scenario is if they break that tower it's like huge time loss sir I'm not even sure yeah alright so like I said we're going back to the hidden forest now we got a couple attack upgrades and actually did I took the attack up I remember I've got a check real quick because we need as much attack as possible for those okay I did safety first I remember that monkey we killed the toys yeah we're gonna have to kill him again and he brought a friend yeah he's got his girlfriend with him this time hopefully we'll be able to take care of him before she shows up this could be so yeah we're just gonna buff our attack as much as possible again equip our mortal draw and then we are going to wail on this guy as much as we can a couple mortal draws to cancel his screams and then we should be able to rush them down before the ape attacks frustrating just in time yeah luckily we only need to kill this white one the other one does not matter at all never eat the death bloom twice for some peace yeah we got to get the mortal blade into that spin of feed there that really finish it off get to prayer beads from that one yeah - eight - purview yeah make sense and then additionally as it's gonna pop up in just a second down so we get they've just stolen jutsu and then in jutsu is so it's the technique you can use when you backstab an enemy and then you can like pull out your sword and imbue it with a ton of attack power so it's gonna increase our attack range our attack speed and our attack damage which obviously is pretty good for us so we're gonna do that right away on this next drunkard after we take care of his monkey friends first this fight is such a pain oh yeah yeah all the drunkards off yeah honestly mm-hmm all right so we're gonna backstab this monkey and get our bug take care of that guy and then we're just gonna melt so now Aggie I noticed that when you attack when he went to death blow that drunkard at the end he kind of ran around on me first why was that yes so I've been doing that throughout the run the backstab animation for finishing off an enemy is about three seconds faster than just hitting them from the front so we want to do that as much as possible and I'm gonna grab a few more health upgrades here because we're gonna do some damage boosting in these next though they're actually I need the deep memory as well Aggie mind if I channel with a quick update on that goose came and said yeah do it you're right a hundred twelve thousand dollars out of a hundred fifty thousand thirty all right no let's go Pete it going yeah we can get it we just went to the past right now right so this is a flashback sequence we're gonna do some air swimming here just a little bit to get through this area just a bit faster said it might do these rocks all right that's when it clears see there's normally this whole like little village area that we've got to work our way through but we're just going to love instead it's not a necessary or swim but like it just there's so much faster alcohol you swim faster than you run from some reason but also you can do it above everything just cancel this in the river and then we've got these shinobi hunter which I don't know about you guys but he gave me so much trouble casually and we are literally going to one shot him with a single Mercurio Connor gave me trouble and practice - yeah he's got some goons around them so hopefully they they let us beat and one more time oh he is okay or lagoons the boys think goes into like four swings to now caffeine we're gonna give him some space here hopefully he separates himself about his job freaking goons wala - and now and we're about halfway to the amount of money that we need for buying everything at the end yes the rate at which we're collecting money is gonna accelerate a lot from this point because main bosses which we've mostly dealt with by now do not drop any money but all the many bosses give like in two hundred issue so I think some of the drunk is drop like tell the cash like I think yeah the guy we killed the explosive barrels like 800 or something this one gives us like 500 the second drunker the final one yeah so because this takes place in the past this is a land we do not know that he's evil yet he's gonna give us a key to go save curl it's all part of his devious plan but we probably have time for one donation as we make our way to little aggro from all these guys here while we take care of the main bad guy yeah more goon squad so it can be frustrating there it goes it's pretty much long days it's nice that you get to do this later on in the run rather than earlier one much stronger for this guy then you do this guy before over if you wanted to yeah usually the Virata the first parada estate segment is usually doing it early on in your plate for us though we're a bit strong right now yeah and the goons are leaving us alone - he's closed you should be able to rest him down here yeah we're just gonna take the front up low just in case that other guy gets in the way here we have lady butterfly coming up here oh this place got some anime aesthetic to it yeah so grandma here so you can either be very cooperative or very uncooperative she has a bunch of attacks where she can jump on the ceiling it's we have the shuriken to deal with that but ideally we're just gonna spam our one against her and she's just gonna keep kicking us and that is the best possible thing for her to do it just it melts her posture better than the ceiling though she's got like invisible wires hanging around she can just jump on river she feels like yeah also the games just teaching us about vitality and posture right there in case you didn't know course she pulls that's a very rare opening attack yeah maybe we needed to read that tutorial maybe maybe all right goodbye 600 gold that's probably about it try that again before this fight the guys warning us at the side of the room hey she's got this incredible super ultimate skill we gotta watch out for but we're just gonna rush her name and use it normally she summons a bunch of illusions who oh that's right I use my eggo sugar for eight it should be okay just a little bit slower than normal [Music] so normally she'll start this fight with summoning illusions but if you start attacking her pretty much right away she doesn't really get a chance to so it's just us whisper again I'll get it oh you know we gotta get her second [Applause] see ya right away as soon as we warp out of here we're just gonna go right back into Hirata - I know this time we're gonna work our way to a land this very same arena it's as largely identical it's gonna be another drunkard yeah another a love fight but well this one we don't have a coordinate put him into so this is gonna be a little bit different yeah we also spawn a lot closer together we have to fire this guy this guy's gonna summon dogs I must be hit up right away and those dogs are trouble but apparently he has trouble as well I'm just gonna wait it out of my sight this guy is real bad if you get those dogs out this little group of enemies is very annoying we want to grab this Idol here to get our attack upgrade they're gonna shoot arrows at us so we're gonna try and block him with the Idol itself and then rest before that big fat guy charge of those and mostly other things were getting too close when you stand up all right this is the last drunkard of the fight we're going to use a catching sugar to get a spell blow on him and then so for the first guinea to encounter at the top of the castle he also gave us a ninjutsu called blood smoke and what we can do with that is when we back step and use it it's going to create a cloud that grants a stealth and we're gonna use that to go back into hiding and kill this little lone shadow mob here so that we don't have to fight two on one and then from here we're gonna get our our blood lay back and just melt the drunkards are such a pain oh yeah Miley's favorite enemy in the game by far little false wall here we're gonna get aside be this real quick I actually I wanted to get that guards attentions but I could agro chain out of here so we're just gonna have to go back through the wall but that's fine I grabbed this idol real quick just in case we should have plenty of health for this next fight okay once again this is a bit of a longer fight if we don't have a ton of attack power so we're gonna boost and then what we want to do here is just trade blows back and forth like this he's gonna try and jump away like that so we're gonna try and corral him to a corner to keep him in place phase one is usually not too bad phase two he gets a bit more evasive so hopefully he doesn't give us too much trouble and we're actually going to use a second ash tree could just to be sure to do this as much as possible oh yeah an owl magic yeah I don't really know what that's all about his name is owl and he gets these like a low powers werewolf and we don't get anything werewolf we have one arm yeah I guess I got the short end of the stick a little bit [Music] is so jumpy in this phase my we're away well that was weird huh he got stuck yeah yeah there's a little Daisy I got stuck on that spiderweb I think that's gonna happen they're sticky yeah but they are sticky apparently hopefully we get 30% chance and don't never mind alright this might be a all memories and mostly throughout at this point but we'll see it's also gonna be exponentially harder the second time around without those buffs because it's just gonna give feel defeated I will - that pretty much is a wrap on all the Hirata estate stuff yep so what's our next goal alright so we're going back to simple temple we got that Idol just before the Monkees if you remember so I'm gonna go pay a visit to your burritos dad real quick I'm playing in Spanish though so it's Robert which is not as cool but no we know what he really is yeah big attack this were really interesting fight it slowly because you can't really you don't actually deal health damage them you just need to build up his posture and then kick them off the bridge I think this is this might not hyoeun Gollum from Dark Souls yeah Robert oh there we go yeah good substitute very nice quick fight though the photo at the bottom so nice there yeah we're just warping back to the idle instead of running over the bridge because the fog gate for some reason there takes a really long time to go down so it's just faster to do that instead and then we've got one more enemy in this area we've got another lovely centipede now by centipede do you mean one of those things sticking out of the ape or the name the guy named centipede for reasons unknown I guess because these little things on them look like legs at least this guy's not named giraffe but are his arms really that long I would say so I mean that's as long as it's late nearly all right hopefully his little baby guys leave us alone all right shrine all right two trips left and then final boss so we've got one more round through the Ashna castle and then we've got over in like I mentioned earlier it was we would normally say for Laos but we're gonna do it right before the final boss instead how are we doing on time out of curiosity 125 [Laughter] it's the first step we have in ashton le TI this is a pretty difficult fight normally we're gonna run past him and hide behind this wall for a second he's gonna magically forget were there and then get a free stealth deathblow this guy goes hard yeah yes yes this is just all reaction here he's gonna do a flash right before he swings awesome got it build up all of our money again we are severely short on money right now most daddy's room yeah there's not really good way to recover either it was like a wealth balloon there in that staircase but it doesn't nothing for you par for the course for this rod so far this is only this room is a two enemies in it one's a mini-boss the other is just another guy and you can stealth blow or you can death blow the guy just the normal guy and then quit out and then when you go back the other guy will just be the mini boss will just be standing there he can get a stealth blow on him as well yes but him out of the way he's gonna stay dead and then this guy's gonna forget all about that all right another lunch title fight identical to the other two you've done so far this guy and he doesn't have that poison attack there but that is the only difference it's the final loan shadowy wait there's another one and a really annoying spot with some dogs but luckily we don't supply them yes that's one of the enemies we skipped over by advancing the game twist they've already no longer exist yeah invincible well opening doors classic for himself then he could just bust through walls like kool-aid then once it's dark souls 2 do you not yet iframes and the enzyme well I think you get a few okay that's we not just another reason that games the worst final boost is cool there everything else yeah say I doing another aggro time to warp out instead of taking the false wall again just a little bit faster and then we've got another ogre at the bottom of this building that we are going to jump right on top and then there's two guys in this room hopefully they're gonna beat up the ogre for me while I just kind of chill here we just kick them day I'm gonna grab one extra item here and a desperate attempt to get at least sort of enough money you can sell the divine grass for 300 there yeah I'm pretty sure at this point we had sealed our faith to get 39 beats next boss he would be really easier really frustrating it was kind of that time if this guy detects her yes this is seven Spears that he's got a little buddy along with him luckily there is just a random soldier just like sleeping on the wall and just like the last drunkard fight we did we're gonna use him to give us a smoke cloud to hide him and then we're gonna eliminate his breath so we could fight him one-on-one it's kind of again this completely overpowered we just attacked okay nevermind he did the one attack of course at this point we're making our way back to that little like flower field their wheat field or whatever it is out here where Katie's hair cut off our arm so normally in a and a like world-record attempt we would go fight the final boss right now we are not gonna do that instead we're going to the water mill for a room do some shopping get most beads and then we'll come back most memories most beads and yeah so over in here normally you have to talk to her before you can fight her but if we just jump on her head she gets knocked away a little bit Mario stress yeah she's even got the Goomba yeah right okay so that is our last mini boss we've got one more bead just chilling in the water back here and this is normally where we in the run we've grabbed this bead and put out I think that's pretty lame himself toaster you can just put bread or whatever you want right inside there and okay nice and crispy and delicious for you sent this is a toaster oh we have a toaster yes I see okay well it does plenty of other things but I promise you this is of course also the official Yeti goose repellent yeah as you can see the goose the goose cannot get any closer than this to the machine it is very effective at stopping goose except there's a magnet repelling the goose that's why it never mind all right I believe that it's goose propelling magic but I mean you can you can tell me whatever you want matcha I mean okay how about this you see that beautiful glass panel in front of it that is the official Yeti window it's just a portable window wherever you need a window I think you lost me on this one buddy all right I mean III I can understand how you can't see the usefulness of a portable window I I just don't see a need to carry around too heavy paint a glass with me wherever I go I gotcha well how
