little flock for it is your father's pleasure to give you the kingdom [Music] [Music] hey [Music] seek the kingdom of god and all these things shall be added to you [Music] um [Music] let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your father in heaven [Music] [Music] [Music] walk while you have the light before darkness overtakes you whoever walks in the dark does not know where they are going believe in the light while you have the light so that you may become children of light [Music] have faith in god let not your heart be troubled you believe in god believe also in me [Music] um [Music] [Music] as you go preach saying the kingdom of heaven is at hand heal the sick cleanse the lepers raise the dead cast out demons freely you have received freely give oh [Music] go and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the father and of the son and of the holy spirit and teaching them to obey everything i have commanded you [Music] if you love me keep my commandments [Music] [Music] this is my commandment that you love one another as i have loved you [Music] go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature [Music] um [Music] the gospel must first be preached to all the nations [Music] oh [Music] do not be afraid but speak and do not keep silent for i am with you um [Music] whatever i tell you in the dark speak in the light and what you hear in the ear preach on the rooftops [Music] so [Music] follow me and i will make you to be fishers of men [Music] [Laughter] [Music] whoever desires to come after me let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me [Music] [Music] hello [Music] worship in the spirit of god and rejoice in christ jesus and have no confidence in the flesh [Music] uh [Music] [Music] for all who are led by the spirit of god are children of god [Music] [Music] but you are not in the flesh but in spirit if indeed the spirit of god dwells in you [Music] when he the spirit of truth comes he will guide you into all the truth for he will not speak on his own authority but will speak whatever he hears and he will declare to you the things that are to come he will glorify me for he will take of what is mine and declare it to you [Music] when the helper comes whom i shall send to you from the father the spirit of truth who comes from the father he will testify about me [Music] so [Music] as the father loved me i also have loved you abide in my love [Music] if you love me keep my commandments and i will pray to the father and he will give you another helper that he may abide with you forever the spirit of truth whom the world cannot receive because it neither sees him nor knows him but you know him for he dwells with you and will be in you [Music] hey [Music] the holy spirit whom the father will send in my name he will teach you all things and remind you of all that i said to you [Music] [Music] [Music] let the little children come to me and do not forbid them for observe all things that i have commanded you and behold i am with you always even to the end of the age [Music] hey if anyone desires to come after me let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me [Music] hmm [Music] love the lord your god with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind this is the first and greatest commandment and the second is like it love your neighbor as yourself all the law and the prophets hang on these two commandments [Music] go and learn what this means i desire mercy and not sacrifice for i did not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance [Music] he cancelled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross [Music] oh [Music] do not be afraid only believe [Music] oh [Music] ask and you fishers of men [Music] hmm [Music] blessed are you when they revile and persecute you and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for my sake rejoice and be exceedingly glad for great is your reward in heaven for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you [Music] hmm [Music] let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your father in heaven [Music] [Music] um [Music] if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother or sister has something against you leave your gift there in front of the altar first go and be reconciled to them then come and offer your gift [Music] hmm [Music] but i say to you do not swear an oath at all neither by heaven for it is god's throne nor by the earth for it is his footstool nor by jerusalem for it is the city of the great king nor shall you swear by your head because you cannot make one hair white or black but let your yes be yes and you'll know no for whatever is more than these is from the evil one [Music] hmm [Music] do not resist an evil person if anyone slaps you on the right cheek turn to them the other cheek also and if anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt hand over your coat as well [Music] wow [Music] if anyone forces you to go one mile go with them two miles [Music] so [Music] um [Music] give to the one who asks you and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] love your enemies bless them that curse you do good to them that hate you and pray for them which hurt you and persecute you that ye may be the children of your father that is in heaven [Music] [Music] hmm [Music] be perfect therefore as your heavenly father is perfect [Music] hmm [Music] be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them [Music] um [Music] when you give to the needy do not announce it with trumpets as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets to be honored by others truly i tell you they have received their reward in full but when you give to the needy do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing so that your giving may be in secret uh [Music] [Music] hmm [Music] when you pray do not be like the hypocrites for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others [Music] um [Music] when you pray go into your room and close the door and pray to your father who is unseen [Music] oh [Music] when you pray use no vain repetitions as the heathen for they think to be heard for their much babbling [Music] hey [Music] [Music] do not be like them for your father knows the things you have need of before you ask him in this manner therefore pray our father in heaven hallowed be your name your kingdom come your will be done on earth as it is in heaven give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors and do not lead us into temptation but deliver us from the evil one for yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever amen [Music] when you fast do not be like the hypocrites with a sad countenance for they disfigure their faces that they may appear to men to be fasting assuredly i say to you they have their reward but you when you fast anoint your head and wash your face so that you do not appear to men to be fasting but to your father who is in the secret place [Music] oh [Music] do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth where moths and vermin destroy and where thieves break in and steal but store up for yourselves treasures in heaven where moths and vermin do not destroy and where thieves do not break in and steal for where your treasure is there your heart will be also [Music] hmm [Laughter] do not worry about your life what you will eat or what you will drink nor about your body what you will put on is not life more than food and the body more than clothing [Music] [Music] hey [Music] look at the birds of the air for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns yet your heavenly father feeds them hmm [Music] so [Music] consider the lilies of the field how they grow they neither toil nor spin [Music] [Music] do not worry saying what shall we eat or what shall we drink or what shall we wear for the pagans run after all these things and your heavenly father knows that you need them [Music] hmm [Music] seek first the kingdom of god and his righteousness and all these things shall be added to you [Music] [Music] [Music] do not worry about tomorrow for tomorrow will worry about itself each day has enough trouble of its own [Music] do not judge or you too will be judged for in the same way you judge others you will be judged and with the measure you use it will be measured to you [Music] first remove the plank from your own eye and then you will see clearly to remove the spec from your brother's eye [Music] ask and it shall be given you seek and you shall find knock and it shall be opened unto you uh [Music] [Music] um in everything do to others what you would have them do to you [Music] [Music] enter by the narrow gate for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction and there are many who go in by it because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life and there are few who find it [Music] um [Music] [Music] son be of good cheer your sins are forgiven you [Music] [Music] hey me [Music] go and learn what this means i desire mercy and not sacrifice for i did not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance [Music] be of good cheer daughter your faith has made you well [Music] mhm [Music] according to your faith let it be to you [Music] so [Music] [Music] uh pray the lord of the harvest to send out labourers into his silver nor copper in your money belts nor bag for your journey nor two tunics no sandals no staffs for a worker is worthy of his food [Music] oh [Music] whatever town or village you enter search there for some worthy person and stay at their house until you leave as you enter the home give it your greeting if the home is deserving let your peace rest on it if it is not let your peace return to you if anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words leave that home or town and shake the dust off your feet [Music] hmm [Music] be wise as serpents and harmless as doves [Music] do not fear them for there is nothing covered that will not be revealed and hidden that will not be known [Music] whatever i tell you in the dark speak in the light and what you hear in the ear preach on the rooftops either make the tree good and its fruit good or else make the tree bad and its fruit bad for a tree is known by its fruit [Music] [Music] listen and understand what goes into someone's mouth does not name saying i am he and will deceive many [Music] [Music] hello [Music] the gospel must first be preached to all the nations foreign [Music] hmm [Music] of that day and hour no one knows not even the him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me [Music] hmm [Music] whoever receives this little child in my name receives me and whoever receives me receives him who sent me for he who is least among you all will be great [Music] do not forbid him for he who is not against us is on our side [Music] let the dead bury their own dead but you go and proclaim the kingdom of god [Music] the harvest truly is great but the laborers are few therefore pray the lord of the harvest to send out labourers into his harvest go your way behold i send you out as lambs among wolves carry neither money bag knapsack nor sandals and greet no one along the road but whatever house you enter first say peace to this house and if a son of peace is there your peace will rest on it if not it will return to you and remain in the same house eating and drinking such things as they give for the laborer is worthy of his wages do not go from house to house whatever city you enter and they receive you eat such things as are set before you and heal the sick there and say to them the kingdom of god has come near to you but whatever city you enter and they do not receive you go out into its streets and say the very dust of your city which clings to us we wipe off against you nevertheless know this that the kingdom of god has come near to you [Music] [Music] do not rejoice in this that the spirits are subject to you but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven [Music] [Music] [Music] when you pray say our father in heaven hallowed be your name your kingdom come your will be done on earth as it is in heaven give us day by day our daily bread and forgive us our sins for we also forgive everyone who is indebted to us and do not lead us into temptation but deliver us more value than many sparrows [Music] hmm [Music] now when they bring you to the synagogues and magistrates and authorities do not worry about how or what you should answer or what you should say for the holy spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say [Music] hmm [Music] uh [Music] take heed and beware of covetousness for one's life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses [Music] oh [Music] therefore i say to you do not worry about your life what you will eat nor about your body what you will put on life is more than food and the body is more than clothing consider the ravens for they neither sown or reap which have neither storehouse nor barn and god feeds them of how much more value are you than the birds [Music] ah [Music] consider the lilies how they grow they neither toil nor spin and yet i say to you even solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these if then god so closed the grass which today is in the field and tomorrow is thrown into the oven how much more will he clothe you oh you of little faith [Music] [Music] so [Music] do not seek what you should eat or what you should drink nor have an anxious mind for all these things the nations of the world seek after and your father knows that you need these things [Music] wow [Music] seek the kingdom of god and all these things shall be added to you [Music] hmm [Music] fear not little flock for it is your father's pleasure to give you the kingdom [Music] huh [Music] [Laughter] sell your possessions and give to the poor provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out a treasure in heaven that will never fail where no thief comes near and no moth destroys for where your treasure is there your heart will be also [Music] [Music] hello [Music] be dressed ready for service and keep your lamps burning like servants waiting for their master to return from a wedding banquet so that when he comes and knocks they can immediately open the door for him [Music] [Music] be ready because the son of man will come at an hour when you do not expect him [Music] [Music] [Music] when someone invites you to a wedding feast do not take the place of honor for a person more distinguished than you may have been invited if so the host who invited both of you will come and say to you give this person your seat then humiliated you will have to take the least important place but when you are invited take the lowest place so that when your host comes he will say to you friend move up to a better place then you will be honored in the presence of all the other guests for all those who exalt themselves will be humbled and those who humble themselves will be exalted [Music] [Music] um [Music] when you give a luncheon or dinner do not invite your friends your brothers or sisters your relatives or your rich neighbors if you do they may invite you back and so you will be repaid but when you give a banquet invite the poor the crippled the lame the blind and you will be blessed [Music] hmm [Music] whoever has ears to hear let them hear [Music] use worldly wealth to gain friends for yourselves so that when it is gone you will be welcomed into eternal dwellings [Music] hey [Music] if your brother sins against you rebuke him and if he repents forgive him and if he sins against you seven times in a day and seven times in a day returns to you saying i repent you shall forgive him [Music] [Music] [Music] arise go your way your faith has made you well [Music] behold the kingdom of god is within you [Music] [Music] ah [Music] listen to what the unjust judge says and will not god bring about justice for his chosen ones who cry out to him day and night will he keep putting them off i tell you he will see that they get justice and quickly however when the son of man comes will he find faith on the earth [Music] [Music] hmm [Music] let the little children come to me and do not forbid them for of such is the kingdom of god assuredly i say to you whoever does not receive the kingdom of god as a little child will by no means enter it [Music] uh [Music] [Music] receive your sight your faith has healed you [Music] mhm [Music] give then and know that summer is near even so when you see these things happening you know that the kingdom of god is near [Music] uh he who is greatest among you let him be as the younger and he who governs the works that you may know and understand that the father is in me and i in the father [Music] [Music] so [Music] if anyone serves me let him follow me and where i am there my servant will be also if may glorify you for you granted him authority over all people that he might give eternal life to all those you have given him now this is eternal life that they know you the only true god and jesus christ whom you have sent i have brought you glory on earth by finishing the work you gave me to do and now father glorify me in your presence with the glory i had with you before the world began i have revealed you to those whom you gave me out of the world they were yours you gave them to me and they have obeyed your word now they know that everything you have given me comes from you for i gave them the words you gave me and they accepted them they knew with certainty that i came from you and they believed that you sent me i pray for them i am not praying for the world but for those you have given me for they are yours all i have is yours and all you have is mine and glory has come to me through them i will remain in the world no longer but they are still in the world and i am coming to you holy father protect them by the power of your name the name you gave me so that they may be one as we are one while i was with them i protected them and kept them safe by that name you gave me none has been lost except the one doomed to be lost so that scripture would be fulfilled now i am coming to you but i say these things while i am still in the world so that they may have the full measure of my joy within them i have given them your word and the world has hated them for they are not of the world any more than i am of the world my prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one they are not of the world even as i am not of it sanctify them by the truth your word is truth as you sent me into the world i have sent them into the world for them i sanctify myself that they too may be fully sanctified my prayer is not for them alone i pray also for those who will believe in me through their message that all of them may be one father just as you are in me and i am in you may they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me i have given them the glory that you gave me that they may be one as we are one i in them and you in me so that they may be brought to complete unity then the world will know that you have sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me father i want those you have given me to be with me where i am and to see my glory the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world righteous father though the world does not know you i know you and they know that you have sent me i have made you known to them and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that i myself may be in them [Music] huh [Music] me rejoice and be glad because great is your reward in heaven for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you [Music] uh [Music] psalm 100 shout for joy to the lord all the earth worship the lord with gladness come before him with joyful songs know that the lord is god it is he who made us and we are his we are his people the sheep of his pasture enter his gate with thanksgiving and his courts with praise give thanks to him and praise his name for the lord is good and his love endures forever his faithfulness continues through all generations praise the lord all you peoples for great is his love towards us and the faithfulness of the lord endures forever praise the lord [Music] um [Music] oh [Music] and jesus went about all galilee teaching in their synagogues preaching the gospel of the kingdom and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people then his fame went throughout all syria and they brought to him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments and those who were demon-possessed epileptics and paralytics and he healed them [Music] uh [Music] and suddenly a woman who had a flow of blood for 12 years came from behind and touched the hem of his garment for she said to herself if only i may touch his garment i shall be made well but jesus turned around and when he saw her he said be of good cheer daughter your faith has made you well and the woman was made well from that hour [Music] wow [Music] as jesus went on from there two men who were blind followed him crying out have mercy on us son of david and after he entered the house the men who were blind came up to him and jesus said to them do you believe that i am able to do this they said to him yes lord then he touched their eyes saying it shall be done for you according to your faith and their eyes were opened [Music] [Music] um [Music] [Music] then jesus went about all the cities and villages teaching in their synagogues preaching the gospel of the kingdom and healing every sickness and every disease among the people [Music] um [Music] [Music] hmm then one was brought to him who was demon-possessed blind and mute and he healed him so that the blind and mute man both spoke and saw and the multitudes were amazed and said could this be the son of david [Music] um [Music] and when jesus went out he saw a great multitude and he was moved with compassion for them and healed their sick [Music] um [Music] after the people of that place recognized him they sent word throughout the region and brought all who were sick to him and begged him that they might touch even the fringe of his cloak and all who touched it were healed [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] then great multitudes came to him having with them the lame blind mute maimed and many others and they laid them down at jesus feet and he healed them [Music] um [Music] and a man with leprosy came to him imploring him and kneeling down and saying to him if you are willing you can make me clean moved with compassion jesus reached out his hand and touched him and said to him i am willing be cleansed and immediately the leprosy left him and he was cleansed [Music] oh [Music] and he went up on the mountain and called to him those he himself wanted and they came to him then he appointed 12 that they might be with him and that he might send them out to preach and to have power to heal sicknesses and to cast out demons [Music] ah [Music] as the sun was setting all those who had any who were sick with various kinds of diseases brought them to him and he laid his hands on each of them and cured them [Music] hey [Music] he cancelled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross in this way he disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities he shamed them publicly by his victory over them on the cross [Music] oh [Music] little children you are from god and have overcome them for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world take heart i have overcome the world [Music] [Music] [Laughter] [Music] as you go preach saying the kingdom of heaven is at hand heal the sick cleanse the lepers raise the dead cast out demons freely you have received freely give [Music] [Music] hmm [Music] [Music] and jesus came and spoke to them saying all authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth go therefore and make disciples of all the nations baptizing them in the name of the father and of the son and of the holy spirit and teaching them to obey everything i have commanded you for surely i am with you always to the very end of the age [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] just then there was a man in their synagogue with an unclean spirit and he cried out what have you to do with us jesus of nazareth have you come to destroy us i know who you are the holy one of god but jesus rebuked him saying be quiet and come out of him and the unclean spirit threw him into a convulsion and crying out with a loud voice came out of him all the people were amazed saying among themselves what is this a new teaching and with authority he commands even the unclean spirits and they obey him [Music] hmm [Music] that evening after the sun had set they brought to him all who were sick and demon-possessed the whole city was gathered at the door and he healed many who were sick with various diseases and cast out many demons but he did not allow the demons to speak because they knew who he was [Music] so [Music] and he went throughout all of galilee proclaiming in the synagogues and casting out demons [Music] hmm [Music] all these signs will follow those who believe in my name they will cast out demons [Music] and demons also came out of many crying out and saying you are the christ the son of god and he rebuking them did not allow them to speak for they knew that he was the christ [Music] [Music] um [Music] hmm [Music] then he called his twelve disciples together and gave them power and authority over all demons and to cure diseases [Music] um [Music] [Music] peace i leave with you my peace i give to you i do not give to you as the world gives do not let your hearts be troubled and do not let them be afraid you heard me say to you i am going away and i am coming to you if you loved me you would rejoice that i am going to the father because the father is greater than i and now i have told you this before it occurs so that when it does occur you may believe i will no longer talk much with you for the ruler of this world is coming and he has no power over me [Music] [Music] and it shall come to pass in the last days declares god that i shall pour out my spirit on all flesh [Music] um [Music] um [Music] [Music] so [Music] john bore witness saying i saw the spirit descending from heaven like a dove and he remained upon him i did not recognize him but he who sent me to baptize with water said to me upon whom you see the spirit descending and remaining on him this is he who baptizes with the holy spirit and i have seen and testified that this is the son of god [Music] so [Music] um [Music] [Music] as for me i baptize you with water for repentance but he who is coming after me is mightier than i he will baptize you with the holy spirit and fire [Music] oh [Music] hey [Music] god anointed jesus of nazareth with the holy spirit and with power who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil for god was with him [Music] ah hmm [Music] how much more will the blood of christ who through the eternal spirit offered himself without blemish to god purify our conscience from dead works to worship the living god [Music] hey [Music] for the kingdom of god is not eating and drinking but righteousness and peace and joy in the holy spirit for the one who serves christ in this way is acceptable to god and has human approval [Music] uh [Music] hmm oh [Music] at that time jesus full of joy through the holy spirit said i praise you father lord of heaven and earth because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned and have revealed them to little children yes father for this is what you were pleased to do [Laughter] [Music] hmm hmm [Music] [Music] therefore if there is any encouragement in christ if any consolation of love if any fellowship of the spirit if any affection and compassion make my joy complete by being of the same mind maintaining the same love united in spirit intent on one purpose [Music] [Music] hmm [Music] the fruit of the spirit is love joy peace long-suffering kindness goodness faithfulness gentleness self-control against such there is no law and those who are christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires if we live in the spirit let us also be guided by the spirit [Music] hmm [Music] i pray that the god of our lord jesus christ the father of glory may give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation as you come to know him [Music] oh [Music] now hope does not disappoint because the love of god has been poured out into our hearts by the holy spirit who was given to us [Music] um [Music] worship in the spirit of god and rejoice in christ jesus and have no confidence in the flesh [Music] uh [Music] hmm [Music] the one who has an ear let him hear what the spirit says to the churches to the one who overcomes i will grant to eat from the tree of life which is in the paradise of god [Music] so [Music] um [Music] [Music] for those who live according to the flesh set their mind on the things of the flesh but those who live according to the spirit set their minds on the things of the spirit [Music] [Music] me [Music] [Music] and my speech and my preaching were not in persuasive words of human wisdom but in demonstration of the spirit and of power that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of god [Music] um [Music] but when they deliver you up do not worry about how or what you should speak for it will be given to you in that hour what you should speak for it is not you who speak but the spirit of the father who speaks in you [Music] hey [Music] mm-hmm [Music] for the kingdom of god is not in words but in power [Music] [Music] [Music] ah [Music] [Music] for god has not given us a spirit of fear but of power and of love and of a sound mind [Music] uh [Music] but if i cast out demons by the spirit of god surely the kingdom of god has come upon you [Music] oh [Music] oh [Music] having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets jesus christ himself being the chief cornerstone in whom the whole building being fitted together grows into a holy temple in the lord in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of god in the spirit [Music] ah [Music] [Music] by this we know that we remain in him and he in us because he has given to us of his spirit [Music] so [Music] hello [Music] therefore there is now no condemnation at all for those who are in christ jesus for the law of the spirit of life in christ jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death [Music] hmm oh [Music] for he received honor and glory from god the father when that voice was conveyed to him by the majestic glory saying this is my son my beloved with whom i am well pleased we ourselves heard this voice come from heaven while we were with him on the holy mountain so we have the prophetic message more fully confirmed you will do well to be attentive to this as to a lamp shining in a dark place until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts [Music] um [Music] [Music] uh [Music] foreign make every effort to maintain the unity of the spirit in the bond of peace there is one body and one spirit just as you were called to the one hope of your calling one lord one faith one baptism one god and father of all who is above all and through all and in all [Music] um [Music] now the lord is the spirit and where the spirit of the lord is there is freedom and all of us with unveiled faces seeing the glory of the lord as though reflected in a mirror are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another for this comes from the lord the spirit [Music] hello hmm [Music] and jesus came and spoke to them saying all authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth go therefore and make disciples of all the nations baptizing them in the name of the father and of the son and of the holy spirit and teaching them to observe all things that i have commanded you and behold i am with you always even to the end of the age [Music] [Music] on one occasion while he jesus was eating with them he gave them this command do not leave jerusalem but wait for the gift my father promised which you have heard me speak about for john baptized with water but in a few days you will be baptized with the holy spirit [Music] mhm [Music] hmm [Music] you shall receive power when the holy spirit has come upon you and you shall be my witnesses both in jerusalem and in all judea and samaria and to the end of the earth [Music] um [Music] [Music] when the goodness and lovingkindness of god our savior appeared he saved us not because of any works of righteousness that we had done but according to his mercy through the washing of regeneration and renewing by the holy spirit this spirit he poured out on us richly through jesus christ our savior [Music] okay [Music] [Music] [Music] hmm [Music] jesus answered most assuredly i say to you unless one is born of water and the spirit he cannot enter the kingdom of god that which is born of the flesh is flesh and that which is born of the spirit is spirit do not marvel that i said to you you must be born again the wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes so it is with everyone who is born of the spirit [Music] hmm [Music] [Music] and this is what some of you used to be but you were washed you were sanctified you were justified in the name of the lord jesus christ and by the spirit of our god [Music] [Music] hmm [Music] so [Music] [Music] for christ also suffered for sins once for all the righteous for the unrighteous in order to bring us to god he was put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit [Music] oh um [Music] more [Music] therefore i make known to you that no one speaking by the spirit of god says jesus is accursed and no one can say jesus is lord except by the holy spirit [Music] hmm [Music] hey [Music] huh [Music] by this you know the spirit of god every spirit that confesses that jesus christ has come in the flesh is from god and every spirit that does not confess jesus is not from god for all who are led by the spirit of god are children of god [Music] hmm [Music] hmm [Music] the spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of god [Music] hey [Music] oh [Music] but the hour is coming and even now is here when the true worshipers will worship the father in spirit and truth for the father seeks such as these to worship him god is spirit and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth [Music] um [Music] because you are sons god has sent the spirit of his son into our hearts crying out abba father [Music] [Laughter] [Music] um [Music] [Music] hey [Music] for through him we both have access by one spirit to the father now therefore you are no longer strangers and foreigners but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of god hmm [Music] [Music] all who obey his commandments abide in him and he abides in them and by this we know that he abides in us by the spirit that he has given us [Music] um [Music] if you love me keep my commandments and i will pray to the father and he will give you another helper that he may abide with you forever the spirit of truth whom the world cannot receive because it neither sees him nor knows him but you know him for he dwells with you and will be in you [Music] um [Music] uh [Music] as for you the anointing that you receive from him abides in you and so you do not need anyone to teach you but as his anointing teaches you about all things and is true and is not a lie and just as it has taught you abide in him [Music] uh [Music] when the helper comes whom i shall send to you from the father the spirit of truth who comes from the father he will testify about me [Music] uh [Music] but the helper the holy spirit whom the father will send in my name he will teach you all things and remind you of all that i said to you [Music] um [Music] um [Music] if the spirit of him who raised jesus from the dead dwells in you he who raised christ from the dead will give life to your mortal bodies also through his spirit that dwells in you [Music] [Music] um [Music] [Music] how can we escape if we neglect so great a salvation it was declared at first through the lord and it was attested to us by those who heard him while god added his testimony by signs and wonders and various miracles and by gifts of the holy spirit distributed according to his will [Music] yes [Music] when he the spirit of truth comes he will guide you into all the truth for he will not speak on his own authority but will speak whatever he hears and he will declare to you the things that are to come he will glorify me for he will take of what is mine and declare it to you [Music] uh [Music] um [Music] so jesus said to them again peace be to you just as the father has sent me i also send you and when he had said this he breathed on them and said to them receive the holy spirit [Music] then peter said to them repent and let every one of you be baptized in the name of jesus christ for the remission of sins and you shall receive the gift of the holy spirit [Music] father in heaven [Music] um [Music] [Music] if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother or sister has something against you leave your gift there in front of the altar first go and be reconciled to them then come and offer your gift [Music] okay [Music] [Music] but i say to you do not swear an oath at all neither by heaven for it is god's throne nor by the earth for it is his footstool nor by jerusalem for it is the city of the great king nor shall you swear by your head because you cannot make one hair white or black but let your yes be yes and you'll know no for whatever is more than these is from the evil one [Music] uh [Music] okay [Music] do not resist an evil person if anyone slaps you on the right cheek turn to them the other cheek also and if anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt hand over your coat as well [Music] [Music] if anyone forces you to go one mile go with them two miles [Music] [Music] hmm [Music] give to the one who asks you and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you [Music] [Music] hmm [Music] um [Music] love your enemies bless them that curse you do good to them that hate you and pray for them which hurt you and persecute you that ye may be the children of your father that is in heaven [Music] [Music] yes [Music] be perfect therefore as your heavenly father is perfect [Music] hmm [Music] be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them [Music] wow [Music] hmm [Music] when you give to the needy do not announce it with trumpets as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets to be honored by others truly i tell you they have received their reward in full but when you give to the needy do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing so that your giving may be in secret [Music] when you pray do not be like the hypocrites for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others [Music] wow [Music] when you pray go into your room and close the door and pray to your father who is unseen [Music] um [Music] when you pray use no vain repetitions as the heathen for they think to be heard for their much babbling [Music] [Music] [Laughter] do not be like them for your father knows the things you have need of before you ask him in this manner therefore pray our father in heaven hallowed be your name your kingdom come your will be done on earth as it is in heaven give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors and do not lead us into temptation but deliver us from the evil one for yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever amen [Music] hmm [Music] when you fast do not be like the hypocrites with a sad countenance for they disfigure their faces that they may appear to men to be fasting assuredly i say to you they have their reward but you when you fast anoint your head and wash your face so that you do not appear to mend to be fasting but to your father who is in the secret place [Music] [Music] do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth where moths and vermin destroy and where thieves break in and steal but store up for yourselves treasures in heaven where moths and vermin do not destroy and where thieves do not break in and steal for where your treasure is there your heart will be also [Music] hmm [Music] do not worry about your life what you will eat or what you will drink nor about your body what you will put on is not life more than food and the body more than clothing [Music] uh [Music] look at the birds of the air for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns yet your heavenly father feeds them [Music] mm-hmm [Music] consider the lilies of the field how they grow they neither toil nor spin [Music] do not worry saying what shall we eat or what shall we drink or what shall we wear for the pagans run after all these things and your heavenly father knows that uh [Music] [Music] enter by the narrow gate for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction and there are many who go in by it because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way cleanse the lepers raise the dead cast out demons freely you have received freely give provide neither gold nor silver nor copper in your money belts nor bag for your journey nor two tunics no sandals nor staffs for a worker is worthy of his food [Music] hmm whatever town or village you enter search there for some worthy person and stay at their house until you leave as you enter the home give it your greeting if the home is deserving let your peace rest on it if it is not let your peace return to you if anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words leave that home or town and shake the dust off your feet [Music] [Laughter] [Music] be wiser serpents and harmless as doves [Music] [Music] hey [Music] do not fear them for there is nothing covered that will not be revealed and hidden house you enter first say peace to this house and if a son of peace is there your peace will rest on it if not it will return to you and remain in the same house eating and drinking such things as they give for the laborer is worthy of his wages do not go from house to house whatever city you enter and they receive you eat such things as are set before you and heal the sick there and say to them the kingdom of god has come near to you but whatever city you enter and they do not receive you go out into its streets and say the very dust of your city which clings to us we wipe off against you nevertheless know this that the kingdom of god has come near to you [Music] um [Music] [Music] do not rejoice in this that the spirits are subject to you but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven uh [Music] [Music] hmm [Music] when you pray say our father in heaven hallowed be your name your kingdom come your will be done on earth as it is in heaven give us day by day our in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these if then god so closed the grass which today is in the field and tomorrow is thrown into the oven how much more will he clothe you oh you of little wedding banquet so that when he comes and knocks they can immediately open the door for him [Music] be ready because the son of man will come at an hour when you do not expect him [Music] so [Music] uh [Music] when someone invites you to a wedding feast do not take the place of honor for a person more distinguished than you may have been invited if so the host who invited both of you will come and say to you give this person your seat then humiliated you will have to take the least important place but when you are invited take the lowest place so that when your host comes he will say to you friend move up to a better place then you will be honored in the presence of all the other guests for all those who exalt themselves will be humbled and those who humble themselves will be exalted [Music] do [Music] when you give a luncheon or dinner do not invite your friends your brothers or sisters your relatives or your rich neighbors if you do they may invite you back and so you will be repaid but when you give a banquet invite the poor the crippled the lame the blind and you will be blessed [Music] [Music] [Music] whoever has ears to hear let them hear [Music] [Music] hey [Music] use worldly wealth to gain friends for yourselves so that when it is gone you will be welcomed into eternal dwellings [Music] if your brother sins against you rebuke him and if he repents forgive him and if he sins against you seven times in a day and seven times in a day returns to you saying i repent you shall forgive him [Music] um [Music] arise go your way your faith has made you well [Music] [Music] [Music] uh behold the kingdom of god is within you [Music] listen to what the unjust judge says and will not god bring about justice for his chosen ones who cry out to him day and night will he keep putting them off i tell you he will see that they get justice and quickly however when the son of man comes will he find faith on the earth [Music] let the little children come to me and do not forbid them for of such is the kingdom of god assuredly i say to you whoever does not receive the kingdom of god as a little child will by no means enter it [Music] hey [Music] receive your sight your faith has healed you [Music] [Music] give then unto caesar the things which are caesars and to god those which are gods [Music] look at the fig tree and all the trees when they sprout leaves you can see for yourselves and know that summer is near even so when you see these things happening you know that the kingdom of god is near [Music] wow [Music] he who is greatest among you let him be as with you before the world began i have revealed you to those whom you gave me out of the world they were yours you gave them to me and they have obeyed your word now they know that everything you have given me comes from you for i gave them the words you gave me and they accepted them they knew with certainty that i came from you and they believed that you sent me i pray for them i am not praying for the world but for those you have given me for they are yours all i have is yours and all you have is mine and glory has come to me through them i will remain in the world no longer but they are still in the world and i am coming to you holy father protect them by the power of your name the name you gave me so that they may be one as we are one while i was with them i protected them and kept them safe by that name you gave me none has been lost except the one doomed to be lost so that scripture would be fulfilled now i am coming to you but i say these things while i am still in the world so that they may have the full measure of my joy within them i have given them your word and the world has hated them for they are not of the world any more than i am of the world my prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one they are not of the world even as i am not of it sanctify them by the truth your word is truth as you sent me into the world i have sent them into the world for them i sanctify myself that they too may be fully sanctified my prayer is not for them alone i pray also for those who will believe in me through their message that all of them may be one father just as you are in me and i am in you may they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me i have given them the glory that you gave me that they may be one as we are one i in them and you in me so that they may be brought to complete unity then the world will know that you have sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me father i want those you have given me to be with me where i am and to see my glory the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world righteous father though the world does not know you i know you and they know that you have sent me i have made you known to them and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that i afflicted with various diseases and torments and those who were demon-possessed epileptics and paralytics and he healed them [Music] [Music] [Music] and suddenly a woman who had a flow of blood for 12 years came from behind and touched the hem of his garment for she said to herself if only i may touch his garment i shall be made well but jesus turned around and when he saw her he said be of good cheer daughter your faith has made you well and the woman was made well from that hour [Music] [Music] uh [Music] [Music] hey [Music] foreign [Music] then jesus went about all the cities and villages teaching in their synagogues preaching the gospel of the kingdom and healing every sickness and every disease among the people [Music] hmm [Music] [Music] hey [Music] then one was brought to him who was demon-possessed blind and mute and he healed him so that the blind and mute man both spoke and saw and the multitudes were amazed and said could this be the son of david [Music] um [Music] hmm [Music] [Music] uh and when jesus went out he saw a great multitude and he was moved with compassion for them and healed their sick [Music] after the people of that place recognized him they sent word throughout the region and brought all who were sick to him and begged him that they might touch even the fringe of his cloak and all who touched it were healed [Music] oh [Music] then great multitudes came to him having with them the lame blind mute maimed and many others and they laid them down at jesus feet and he healed them hmm [Music] hmm [Music] and he went up on the mountain and called to him those he himself wanted and they came to him then he appointed twelve that they might be with him and that he might send them out to preach and to have power to heal sicknesses and to cast out demons [Music] as the sun was setting all those who had any who were sick with various kinds of diseases brought them to him and he laid his hands on each of them and cured them [Music] oh [Music] oh [Music] he cancelled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross in this way he disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities he shamed them publicly by his victory over them on the cross [Music] huh [Music] [Laughter] little children you are from god and have overcome them for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world take heart i have overcome the world hmm [Music] [Music] mmm as you go preach saying the kingdom of heaven is at hand heal the sick cleanse the lepers raise the dead cast out demons freely you have received freely give going to the father because the father is greater than i and now i have told you this before it occurs so that when it does occur you may believe i will no longer talk much with you for the ruler of more will the blood of christ who through the eternal spirit offered himself without blemish to god purify our conscience from dead works to worship the living god [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] [Laughter] for the kingdom of god is not eating and drinking but righteousness and peace and joy in the holy spirit for the one who serves christ in this way is acceptable to god and has human approval [Music] [Music] hey [Music] hmm [Music] at that time jesus full of joy through the holy spirit said i praise you father lord of heaven and earth because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned and have revealed them to little children yes father for this is what you were pleased to do [Music] [Music] um [Music] therefore if there is any encouragement in christ if any consolation of love if any fellowship of the spirit if any affection and compassion make my joy complete by being of the same mind maintaining the same love united in spirit intent on one purpose [Music] [Music] um [Music] the fruit of the spirit is love joy peace long-suffering kindness goodness faithfulness gentleness self-control against such there is no law and those who are christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires if we live in the spirit let us also be guided by the spirit [Music] hmm [Music] hmm [Music] i pray that the god of our lord jesus christ the father of glory may give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation as you come to know him [Music] hello [Music] uh [Music] now hope does not disappoint because the love of god has been poured out into our hearts by the holy spirit who was given to us [Music] [Music] um [Music] [Music] [Music] worship in the spirit of god and rejoice in christ jesus and have no confidence in the flesh [Music] um [Music] [Music] hmm [Music] [Music] uh and my speech and my preaching were not in persuasive words of human wisdom but in demonstration of the spirit and of power that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of god [Music] [Music] do [Music] um [Music] [Music] but when they deliver you up do not worry about how or what you should speak for it will be given to you in that hour what you should speak for it is not you who speak but the spirit of the father who speaks in you [Music] oh [Music] hey [Music] for the kingdom of god is not in words but in power [Music] ah hmm [Music] for god has not given us a spirit of fear but of power and of love and of a sound mind [Music] hey [Music] uh [Music] but if i cast out demons by the spirit of god surely the kingdom of god has come upon you [Music] um [Music] having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets jesus christ himself being the chief cornerstone in whom the whole building being fitted together grows into a holy temple in the lord in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of god in the spirit [Music] um [Music] [Music] hmm [Music] by this we know that we remain in him and he in us because he has given to us of his spirit [Music] [Music] um [Music] therefore there is now no condemnation at all for those who are in christ jesus for the law of the spirit of life in christ jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death [Music] um [Music] hmm [Music] for he received honor and glory from god the father when that voice was conveyed to him by the majestic glory saying this is my son my beloved with whom i am well pleased we ourselves heard this voice come from heaven while we were with him on the holy mountain so we have the prophetic message more fully confirmed you will do well to be attentive to this as to a lamp shining in a dark place until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts [Music] hmm [Music] oh [Music] make every effort to maintain the unity of the spirit in the bond of peace there is one body and one spirit just as you were called to the one hope of your calling one lord one faith one baptism one god and father of faces seeing the glory of the lord as though reflected in a mirror are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another for this comes from the lord the spirit [Music] um [Music] hey [Music] you shall receive power when the holy spirit has come upon you and you shall be my witnesses both in jerusalem and in all judea and samaria and to the end of the earth [Music] [Music] hey mmm [Music] when the goodness and loving-kindness of god our savior appeared he saved us not because of any works of righteousness that we had done but according to his mercy through the washing of regeneration and renewing by the holy spirit this spirit he poured out on us richly through jesus christ our savior [Music] [Music] hello [Music] jesus answered most assuredly i say to you unless one is born of water and the spirit he cannot enter the kingdom of god that which is born of the flesh is flesh and that which is born of the spirit is spirit do not marvel that i said to you you must be born again the wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes so it is with everyone who is born of the spirit [Music] oh [Music] oh [Music] hey [Music] for christ also suffered for sins once for all the righteous for the unrighteous in order to bring us to god he was put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit hmm [Music] [Music] um [Music] therefore i make known to you that no one speaking by the spirit of god says jesus is accursed and no one can say jesus is lord except by the holy spirit [Music] hey [Music] oh [Music] oh [Music] by this you know the spirit of god every spirit that confesses that jesus christ has come in the flesh is from god and every spirit that does not confess jesus is not from god for all who are led by the spirit of god are children of god [Music] hmm [Music] [Laughter] [Music] the spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of god [Music] [Music] uh hmm [Music] hmm [Music] but the hour is coming and even now is here when the true worshipers will worship the father in spirit and truth for the father seeks such as these to worship him god is spirit and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth [Music] uh [Music] because you are sons god has sent the spirit of his son into our hearts crying out abba father [Music] gladdens humans hearts oil to make their faces shine and bread that sustains their hearts the trees of the lord are well watered the cedars of lebanon that he planted there the birds make their nests the stork has its home in the junipers the high mountains belong to the wild goats the crags are a refuge for the hyrax he made the moon to mark the seasons and the sun knows when to go down you bring darkness it becomes night and all the beasts of the forest prowl the lions roar for their prey and seek their food from god the sun rises and they steal away they return and lie down in their dens then people go out to their work to their labor until evening how many are your works lord in wisdom you made them all the earth is full of your creatures there is the sea vast and spacious teeming with creatures beyond number living things both large and small there the ships go to and fro and leviathan which you formed to frolic though all creatures look to you to give them their food at the proper time when you give it to them they gather it up when you open your hand they are satisfied with good things when you hide your face they are terrified when you take away their breath they die and return to the dust when you send your spirit they are created and you renew the face of the ground may the glory of the lord endure forever may the lord rejoice in his works he who looks at the earth and it trembles who touches the mountains and they smoke i will sing to the lord all my life i will sing praise to my god as long as i live may my meditation be pleasing to him as i rejoice in
