we live all hell and Shalom I'll help too my brothers and sisters in the United States of America all hail to my brothers and sisters in the motherland of Africa the southern and Central Africa oh hell - my brothers and sisters on the island of Jamaica all hell is it well with thee I can't hear you this is well with thee well I guess I won't be able to hear you it's rather difficult trying to operate under these conditions having to look at a TV screen and talk to it but while I can't see you I feel I feel your spirit there's something about the spirit of the Almighty God the spirit of the Almighty God finds its way into the atmosphere and in spirits from all over the world can unite them and together raise their voices in praise and thanks to the Almighty God I'm thinking the Lord this evening on this Passover evening so let let us gather if only in this technological fellowship it is an honor and a privilege to interact with you on this on this particular night this night as we say that is different from all other nights on this night this first full moon after the vernal equinox there's something special about this night brothers and sisters four on this night some 3,500 years or so ago the Lord executed the greatest spiritual rescue mission that has been recorded in modern history in all of history and that is the deliverance of our Israelite forefathers from Egyptian bondage without firing a shot without shooting off a candidate but by his holy and righteous spirit and to commemorate this great event that we gather on this evening to keep the Feast of the Lord's Passover and we'll have to do it in the best way we can none of these trying circumstances if you I proceed any further let me wish you a happy and blessed New Year happy New Year to you new year yes this is the new year this month shall be unto you the beginning of months it is the first month of the year to you because of what God did for our Israelite forefathers some 35 years ago on this particular night now we normally meet for the feast of the large Passover in the sanctuary here and normally this place is overflowing with people and we have what we call a corporate or a congregational Passover Seder we have huge crowds we have a bhima full of ministers we have a four or five hundred voice quiet we have people all over the rafters in the balcony and everywhere and we dress appropriately we have our finest on on this evening you see nothing but hats and swords and sashes and rosettes oh what a spectacle it has been but today the Lord has decided that we will keep his Passover in the confines of our homeless as the Israelites did way back in the beginning so you and I have just got to adjust to it this the Lord's doing and it is marvelous in our eyes is that writing right voice this it's tough trying to talk to you and I can't cure you but but I'm gonna have to do the best I can the keeping of the Passover is nothing new for us we've been doing this for at least 119 years dating back to April of 1907 was instituted in our congregation by God's prophet William Saunders crowd who as we say brought back the Ancient of Days brought back the ancient faith customs and practices and holy days of our Israelite forefathers as recorded in the scriptures so brothers and sisters we will keep the Passover under this stringent social distancing distancing restriction to the best of our ability and of course we'll have to do it by electronic transmission as high priest of this great party I will preside over the Passover from a nearly empty sanctuary here in Temple beth-el the oval Virginia I will conduct the Passover service and Seder with the help of just a few people sitting around a very sparse say the table I'll be assisted by Rabbi Henry Britt of the Elbe Virginia mother Sarah Jewell Harold of Belleville Virginia Ezra Locke local overseer of Belleville Virginia now the Joseph Denson local overseer of Belleville Virginia and we will be assisted by a tiny little choir we might as well call it a quartet or quintet of singers under the direction of elder Aaron can carry general coarsely and on this evening we will be assisted by three speakers from various Tabernacles in the United States we don't know God's purpose in visiting us with this virus especially during the Passover season perhaps the Lord is encouraging us to become more individually aware of his goodness and mercy to our forefathers maybe the Lord is pushing us to recapture the spiritual intimacy of that first Passover I don't know maybe the Lord is teaching us to be more personally responsible for our Passover observance maybe he's teaching us that the real Passover Memorial is a spiritual experience that must be observed in each individual heart in order to capture his true meaning and it's true benefit perhaps his purpose is to strengthen each and every one of us spiritually and to bring each and one of us closer in proximity to his love and His grace I don't know who knows the cry of let my people go may be a beacon call for you and me to personally remove ourselves from the yoke of our own bondage so that we may serve the Lord whatever is God's will let us just diligently observe the feasts of lost Passover to the best of our ability that's all we can do the Lord will do the rest of it let us recall and recant the miracles of the Passover story but let us comfort ourselves in the knowledge that this same God the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob is in our midst today I think even taken from Zephaniah 3:17 says it all the Lord our God no matter what the Lord our God in the midst of us is mighty God is our refuge in a very present help in trouble therefore we will not fear we will not fear though the earth be removed and the mountains be thrown into the midst of the sea and we won't fear because there's a river and that river is the Spirit of the Almighty God that will rescue us in times of trouble like this so brothers and sisters let us go forward boldly and courageously trusting in the Almighty God and upholding the work of God's prophet prophet William Saunders Crowley he was our modern-day delivery this prophet who by the grace of God freed us from the shackles of ignorance and idolatry and reconnected us with the God of Abraham and with the faith why are we here we are here because we love the Lord and we are determined to keep his Commandments and on this occasion his Commandments are playing commandment number one grow out of land that's over in Exodus row out of lamb according to your family and you gonna be forced to do it this year thank God he shall eat it eat the flesh in that night roast with fire another commandment with unleavened bread and with bitter earth I'm not a commandment this day shall be a memorial forever throughout your generations and another commandment seven days see how you eat will never break and you shall keep the feast of unleavened bread brothers and sisters that's what we're about tonight this night that is different from all other nights is certainly different from all other nights in the very near past we've never had to experience this kind of Passover we have never passed this way before and having never passed it before we have to rely solely on the god of our salvation maybe that's what he wants so let's have a Passover service brothers and sisters a technological one but the Spirit of God will make it so that it will be just as glorious as any other Passover that we've ever observed so are you ready to start the Feast of the lowest Passover I can't hear you are we ready to start all right we're gonna do the best we can let us all stand now and sing I love [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Laughter] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] we'll be led in prayer by all the others were a lock of Belleville Virginia let us pray as we our symbol in our homes or in various places around the world we are thankful that the good Lord has spared our lives to be able to enter into another new year 5781 the first month of the year to Israel we praise God for sending us his prophet prophet William Saunders Crowley who brought back to us the Ancient of Days the whole year has passed and we look forward to a better year to come and the midst of this coronavirus condemning when entangled in trouble trials and tribulations we know and understand that God is our refuge and strength a very present help in time of trouble the Lord our God in the midst of us is mighty therefore strong let us be strong and of good courage as we pray for the household of the faithful we pray that God will be merciful during the days and months ahead that we hold back that he holds back the spread of this disease we pray that during this time of separation from the tabernacle that we turn inward and realize that spark of divinity which is within us we are continuously reminded during this season of freedom that God brought our forefathers out of the land of Egypt with a mighty strong hand we bend the knee and recognize and in submission we submit to the Holy One of Israel for his delivering power for in every age the Lord has been our help and hope we are thankful for the marvelous acts and wonders performed in the land of Pharaoh for our forefathers they were commanded to teach to their children that our people were enslaved and God that delivered them from the hand that was stronger than they from generation to generation we are taught to memorialize the Passover for as it is said in exodus 12 14 you shall keep it a feast to the Lord throughout your generations you shall keep it a feast by ordinance forever this Passover a symbol of freedom causes us to reflect upon the passing year and ushers us to consider how God has delivered us from the inanimate Pharaohs of today in every age there is an attempt to enslave God's people by those who suffer from and I am God central they placed demands that conflict with the edicts and demands of God's commandments and ordinances the spirit of prophecy has not left us but it is written in the scripture since the days of your fathers I have sent you my servants to profit by a profit Israel was brought out of the land of Egypt and by a prophet Israel is preserved we asked the Lord to preserve our leader chief rabbi Philippi McNeil as he leads us through the scriptures and to the place that he has chosen for us we know that a man shall be as a hiding place from the wind and are covered and as a rock you know we related through his prophetic words they have become a shelter in the time of storm may we face this new year having found grace love peace and tranquility may it be a year that brings us closer to more love for God and more love for our fellow man during this pandemic we asked at God the god of our fathers Abraham as antica passed over the house of Israel as he passed over the houses of our forefathers we asked that the hearts and minds of those who are in political power returned to seek the good for the people of the world the power of this world and the power of the world in the world to come we know is in the Lord's hand God says through scriptures my glory will not give to another neither my praise to graven images we therefore will praise worship and honor our God for the blessings he has bestowed upon us and for the future blessings we are to receive may we have a heavy Passover and a happy new year amen want to take this opportunity again to wish each and every one of you a happy and a blessed New Year probably mr. the upper doorpost of the houses wherein they shall eat it and they shall eat the flesh and that night roast with fire and unleavened bread and with bitter herbs they shall eat it eat not of it raw nor saudan at all with water but roast with fire his head with his legs and with the pertinence thereof and he shall let nothing of it remain unto the morning and that puts remaineth of it on till the morning ye shall burn with fire and thus shall he eat it with your loins girded your shoes on your feet and your staff in your hand and you shall eat it in haste it is the Lord's Passover for I will pass through the land of each up to this night and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt both man and beast and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment I am the Lord and the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are and when I see the Blood I will pass over you and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you when I smite the land of Egypt and this day shall be unto you for a memorial and ye shall we're a feast to the Lord throughout your generations he shall keep it a feast by an ordinance forever seven days shall he eat unleavened bread even the first day he shall put away leaven out of your houses for whosoever eateth leavened bread from the first day under the seventh day that soul shall be cut off from Israel and in the first day there shall be an holy convocation and in the seventh day there shall be an holy convocation to you no manner of work shall be done in them save that every man must eat that only may be done of you and he shall observe the feast of unleavened bread for in this self same day have I brought your armies out of the land of Egypt therefore shall he observe this day in your generations by an ordinance for ever thus in the reading of the scripture song that is a composite of several composers this month shall be unto you [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Applause] while those songs sound so good after being cooped up in your house for three weeks those sounds those songs sound great I don't know how they're coming up across to you that home but here in the sanctuary they're ringing through our ears and into our hearts and in our spirit we don't really enjoying them and we do get we're starting to feel the excitement a celebratory feeling about this new year how about you do you feel the Lord has blessed us to see another new year my mind what we went through this past year and here the Lord has blessed us to enter into a glorious joyous glorious new [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Laughter] our first sermon of evening will come to us from rabbi at sheriff volkens of philadelphia pennsylvania unto the house of israel giving honor our praise to a true and living God thanking God for the coming and sending of prophet William as cloudy to the man of God Chief Rabbi of Philippi McNeill rabbinical council evangelists had large evangelists elders of Israel sons and daughters of the God of Abraham and those who walk by faith and not by sight I find strength this evening in the words of the prophet Isaiah I am the Lord and there is none else there is no God besides me I girded thee though thou has not known me that they may know from the rising of the Sun and from the West that there is none besides me I am the Lord and there is none else during this season of our liberation I thank the Almighty for giving us this opportunity during these turbulent times to meet in this manner the law of God in the midst of us is mighty be therefore strong and of good courage I would like to thank chief rabbi Philip II McNeil grandfather Abraham for giving me the opportunity to speak tonight from the theme I will pass through the lay of Egypt in this night nestled and cradled in Exodus chapter 12 in verse 12 y will pass through the land of each of this night and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt to is chamber [Music] [Music] and this speak in denies access pony the author of waiver opal whether God meant to ha there's a confusion in the map you yes is there a technical difficulty we're having a technical difficulty here you're gonna ask the choir to give us give us the song while we fix the technical difficulty [Music] [Music] yes sir I'm here apologize for the this is how it goes when you broadcast live that's right that's right thank you so much as I was saying I just want to lift three points this evening coming out of that chapter of Exodus when the full plague was sent out God said he would separate the lands in Exodus chapter 8 verse 2 or 20 it was as if the first plague to the third God was testing everyone getting their attention like only God can do removing them from the slave pit into the way of deliverance using places as tools to prepare them you know sometimes God will show his power introduce himself new hardship so that the Creator will know that he is God on this sacred night in the land of each heaven our host of this evening God his ordinance was coming something so great that it would be remembered by all and nobody but him could take credit not an attempt to rationalize that seasonally the now turns because of the silks not the excuse of a ten-year phenomenom of Lucas coming out of the ground that devours everything in sight this was not your normal droughts disease brought out by man or a solar happening no the very decree to kill every firstborn male of the Hebrew so long ago by SETI God Himself will do the same to them including their beasts and on that night God is sending his top executioner an angel that were delivered and set out to do four things the destroyer as he is called which searched out the whole land ensure that their life sacrifice was given if the blood is on the doorpost they are saved and if it is not then the first born in that house would not live it's executed without fail for God's Word is to be kept throughout the world people have had to find a way to get use to the new normal stay in the house washing hands more frequently covering your face with a scarf of a shirt or mask if you can find it but now you cannot go everywhere you are ago you can't do everything you want to do for the world people will not obey the rules they will not follow that which has been set forth for thousands of years our people the children of Israel have been in and out of the framework of the company with our Lord asking us constantly come now and let us reason together but now when it is time to sacrifice what will you give then this calls it nineteen experience will you give the speckled presentation you can find or the best without blemish something or was it something that was just laying around in your inner house what will you sacrifice so that the Lord God of Israel will see say it is good and allow the destroying angel to pass over human on this night for all of us are you willing to sacrifice the blood I mean the life blood I mean the blood of commitment your strength your bind you heart and your spirit for token and a covenant to your Creator that will that we will follow and we will keep his laws and his Sabbath God said I will pass through the land of Egypt this night and that's for all of us we cannot escape this we they could not escape it we all have to drill out alais force to stay home forced to be distant but now that God has our attention and he most certainly does on this night will it be by force or well we do it willingly in your uniform in your swipes or in your PJs this evening will you keep it of your own free will and accord for so many years people have done it out of fear but now will you do it because he's right to do this Edith was sent by God to all of us and will affect all of us Egyptian and Hebrew men and beasts all of the firstborn this is not a command that should be taken lightly this is the only plague that came with prerequisites God's shielded the children of Israel through all these plays but now this is something that we and it's a blue plate and this will be followed to the other saints and friends no more half doing things no more lukewarm behavior no more keeping some of the commandments not just keeping the Sabbath day and not the beginning of the Sabbath no more Egyptian / Hebrew living everything on this night should be followed to the letter not just what's on your Seder table but the table of the sanctum sanctorum within your inner man this is an intimate Passover this is all about the inner man and the inner woman draw our lamb according to your families we have been told what to do their very best we have to offer should be sacrifice it's a token not just coming together in the great sanctuary but on our devices or suggest that some around where we are together spirity and in the vein of prophet William s cloudy sent to a whole world nowhere to hide a run this shall be kept by all God sent the destroyer to the first born man and beasts the very idea she have is all a letter to God but alas not everyone and not everyone will for who know God for yourself for those who have made a new commitment to their God to their fellow man especially after this call vid 19 virus for those who believe and we're asking God tonight that we make a commitment help our fellow man and we're praying that God will see our sacrifice in the disorder will pass by your house to the Lord God has spoken it against all the gods of Egypt hi will execute judgments I am below God holy God had the power to defeat all of those so-called gods God holy God has the power to break the back of Pharaoh with this last plague God globally God can do all things well all the things that kept you from returning to God all the things that are between you and God whether it be land job people place thing real [Music] all this night God will execute judgments I am the Lord I will go around not people to be enslaved anymore I will execute judgment I and the Lord the mental spiritual shackles are off but you must have a heart to keep it that way I will execute judgment I am the Lord God did this for us but we must do our part then righteousness in spirit and in truth I will execute judgment I am the Lord God did it Moses and he's gonna do it [Music] and he's going to do it for you and he's going to do it for me God will execute judgment I am the Lord with my people who are called by my name will or will not I will execute judgment high in the Lord not looking for signs and wonders described in first Corinthians chapter 14 verse truly 20-billion the sacred Word of God prophecy chapter 12 verses 26 and 27 and it came to pass when your children will say unto you what we need by this service daily that ye shall say it is the sacrifice of the Lord's Passover who passed all the houses of the children of Israel in our houses and high high in the Lord when the house of God we all should be out there crying out his name for the Lord our God in the midst of us is mighty how should this road please pray for me our refuge and see [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] by hidden regret of Belleville Virginia unto the house of Israel to our esteemed leader chief rabbi Philip II McNeil to the ministerial body and to all of the children of God around the world who are tuned in to this sacred service I say to you Shalom Aleichem it is indeed an honor to participate on this historic program the circumstances are a little different and our hearts are connected virtually rather than physically nevertheless we know that God is still God regardless of circumstances we certainly want to thank rabbi Watkins for his presentation we did enjoy it very much I doubt if mine will be as long because I'm going to try to stay within the framework of ten minutes three of which I've already taken up the theme that I've been given is found in the 13th verse of the twelfth chapter of the book of Exodus and the blood shall be to you for a token now we know that blood according to the prophetic and rabbinic teachings of our history and also the Levitical record tells us that blood represents life not just merely being alive but the blood represents the inner recesses of a person the direction of a person's will the preponderance the tendencies of a person's character and behavior this is what the blood meant to our ancient Israelite for parents and it's what it means to us today we also know what a token is a token is something that represents something else it could be a banner aside even proof or evidence of some fact and so on this auspicious night in our history God told his people through his servant Moses to mark the doorpost of their dwelling with blood and it stood for something but the question is what did that blood actually indicate we probably can surmise that God doesn't need a marker to identify his people the destroyer did not need some type of physical representation to distinguish between an Israelite and Egyptian so there must be a deeper meaning beyond the literal meaning of the story I would suggest that that blood represented the character of the house of Israel and God was saying to his people regardless of your circumstances I will always deal with you according to the content of your character God was sending a message to his people that how we live matters whether under stressful times and good times the tendencies that we exhibit toward God and toward our fellow man matters and so we have the same determination that our ancient four parents had to obey the edict we mark our doorposts the doorpost of our hearts the doorpost of our minds the dark use of our will the dark hopes of our determination to live and behave within the framework of the Abraham covenant whether in freedom or in bondage we know that salvation lies and ultimate freedom lies if we live within the framework of that Abrahamic covenant today the question is this it has been the question throughout our generation shall we choose to live within the framework of the Covenant and thereby enjoy God's freedom or shall we choose to be a slave to all the gods of Egypt house of Israel enjoy this feast of the Lord's Passover and unleavened bread with happiness and confident no matter where you are that God will take care of his people pray for me as I pray for you but your blood blood of your life visible all mighty blood of your character of your determination to live within a framework and if the answer is yes then truly you have come out of Egypt to go back no more let us hear that song [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] all states I wanted Ross enjoy I want to be [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] my pleasure to introduce rabbi Marcus car of Washington DC unto the house of Israel first give him praise and thanks to Almighty God y'all me thank you God that's why Brandon hopeful leader chief rabbi Philistine MacNeil grandfather Abraham elders of Israel from Jamaica West Indies from the motherland so Shalom Aleichem well Christian brother who may be tuning in with us on this Passover II afraid of the law well Muslim brothers may be listened to then a Salam alaikum - our committed brother and sister may be tune in this evening with us okay and to our grassroot brothers and sisters it may just walked off the street they want to hear word from the Lord we preach dude what's happening I was inspired by the Memphis is coming from grab my Balkans and wrap them I bring both of those messages very inspiring the scripture I have been given this evening by our chief rabbi it's next to those 1214 years and this day shall be unto you for a memorial and you just keep this it's easy to the Lord for all your generation you shall keep it a feast an ordinance well I was inspired by the scene that I leave this very encouraging once this time when we live it the thing that he gave up the path the Lord God in the midst of us is might be their fourth row home in a victory Zephaniah 3:17 and do Ronna so it was lit what a blessing a few short moments God is doing something awesome and incredible and only he will get the book you mean that of heard God is doing something awesome and incredible it's only God Almighty get the truth the only point I'm really interested in making this evening but this Passover for his all about and I've been in a debate with for years debated whether this really happen or not if they didn't a group of people actually cross the Red Sea debating that man that could fall from heaven to be happen enough with what I'm really interested in to them is the lesson behind the school and what this Passover story is all about it's all about a God who is able to keep us from falling and possesses before the presence of his book because God is doing something awesome and incredible and on this evening don't it's time to be literally only he should get the glow in verse 17 we celebrate the Passover because it was on this lake in the twelfth chapter verse 17 that I am what our forefathers out of the land of Egypt in the house of my then Moses coming go enjoy in story in memorial to commemorate to recall when he what he is doing and when he will continue to do whoever will supposed to observe the celebration for all the times for always whoever because God yes he would love us always and forever and destroyed the firstborn of Pharaoh the seven were true to the first one of the prisoner who was in the dungeon in the first one of all and all the Egyptian gonna doing the night and there was a Greek just like it is in this country there was nothing there where there was not one day and he said Raza get you four from among my people what we in the truth of Israel go save the Lord as you have said you wanted to do please take your people and go leave out of here in haste of people who was born in captive in the Holy Scriptures incredible the Almighty God from Genesis to Revelation we and the Spirit of God we great I am than I am that's why he's referred to Elohim in Genesis 1:26 the one true God in Genesis 15 - he is referred to as the master who reveals his gracious he's referred to as well the Almighty God the fourth one in Genesis 17 he is referred to as Yahweh the eternal one in Exodus 3:14 he's been to in Exodus 15:26 the humor for 60 years - as Jehovah sister knew our people guy who's able to guard us day by day he is referred to it as Jehovah Nissi angel in Genesis I'm sorry chapter 17 verses 15 to 16 and in judges chapter 6 Jehovah Shalom he is our peace we with the Almighty God right now this year when we have to have a relationship and develop a screw your old buddy God that's why as here in the sixth chapter its first aid the apnic I'm talking about this divine listen him in the sixth chapter because the scripture says in the year that King I saw the Lord and he went into the jungle the praise God he didn't tick Reverend doctors Widow he didn't take any deals with he didn't take the car with him he went into he said of all as good a server in each one had six wings with twain he covered his feet and with twain he covered his face he did and one holy holy oh god host the horror he talked with me and he tells me I have a child as the world for Russell with this so-called Beruna virus Cisco be 90 the debate is women it wasn't ever played for the nations of the earth or another act of man's inhumanity to man the debate continued some of the cultures television or in terms of certainly this information was shared with me I want about our ministers who received it from a another source and this is what they wrote in three and this is in three short months just like he did for the plagues of the Egyptians God has taken away everything before God so you don't want to keep the Sabbath well I will take away those athletes you worship I will shut down the stadium you want to worship me you want to worship those musicians I will shut down on Pacific you want to worship the actors I will shut down the theatres [Applause] you want to worship money I will shut down the economy and collapse the star tomorrow you don't want to go to the house in worship Elon is fully Sabbath day I will make it where you can't even go to the house of the God but in my people by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal the lake maybe we love need a backseat if we need to take this time of isolation from the distractions of this borough and have a personal revival when we focus on the only thing that really matters God Almighty just glad who's in a class oh by himself and he said my go away let not give to another neither my praises to graven image for in conclusion god is awesome and incredible only he will get the glow David Freese you see God is doing something in you and in me God is doing something awesome and incredible the only he will get the gold God is doing something wonderful incredible awesome God is doing something wonderful so beautiful so marvelous God is doing it and working it going it outside of us I know it is trouble in the world but of the head and I did all the law it was on [Music] [Music] [Music] is someone there forget purpose your work meaning to your travel and direction to your true fellowship indeed the pass can we feel that presence he that dwelleth in a secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty it's time to just remember there's only one thing that really truly it's not in my errand it's not about movies and we should remember when we go we have to it's not about us see we have made everything about us in our family but it's not about us and our families but it's about what God is doing for us he walks with me and he talks with I said this real I remember when elder Curtis at the house of Israel I just had a wardrobe change into my high priests torment I can supervise and officiate the Passover Seder I hope you have your Passover Haggadah pamphlets in front of you it's time for us to to perform the Seder but I've written some introductory comments on the inside folder for you to get an understanding on some of the symbols associated with the Passover the term Passover Hagaddah for passover haggadah refers to the telling of the exodus story as recited in the Passover Seder service that's all the Seder say demeaning order of service is the ceremonial meal ordained in Scripture held in remembrance of the exodus of the Israelites from slavery in Egypt the Haggadah the Haggadah is the ceremonial ritual for the Seder meal consisting of historical narratives scriptures prayers benediction psalms and hymns in dispersed within the Seder meal looking at the Seder symbols to see we start with the matzah the eleven bread this was the bread of our forefathers that they had to eat in their hasty flight out of Egypt it was unleavened dough baked in the desert sun tesak or passover sometimes it refers to the shank bone of lamb another ingredient of the Passover Seder this chanc bone of land representing the sacrificial lamb of the original Passover my roar we have to have bitter herbs our bitter herbs is a piece of horseradish eaten to remind us of the bitterness of the slaves life in ancient Egypt we have the greens the car pots here we have parsley leaves suggesting springtime the season the Passover the ceremony of dipping the greens in salt water recalls the dipping of hyssop for sprinkling the doorposts of the Hebrew houses in in the Exodus story the mortar or the charoset is a mixture of apples nuts cinnamon raisins I hope you have some in your home we have a little jar here this the slaves used to build the Egyptian cities and - the aftercoma we won't bother with the afikoman in this particular abbreviated service but that's the last part of the land that's eaten in the Seder we have a roasted egg on our passing the plate representing the burnt offering brought to the temple during the festivals in ancient time and of course we must have one do we have any wine at our table yes we do do you have any wine at your table at home it is reminiscent of the blood of the Israelites that they had to sprinkle on the doorpost of houses the Death Angel passed over them and of course wine is also suggestive of the festive part of this particular ceremony and finally we have Elijah's cup that large goblet of wine - welcome symbolically the prophet Elijah but when biblical tradition is the waited to announce the coming of the Messianic age on our Seder Plate I'll just repeat one more time when I say the plate we have matzah we have the shank bone and the roasted lamb we have the roasted egg sacrifices we have horseradish bitter herbs my war is the Hebrew word my roar we have greens parsley we have a dish of salt water for dipping the green we have the mortar kairos it is our roasted apples cinnamon raisins made into a nice paste to suggest water and of course we have to lie now now we're not going to be partaking of any of this here at this save the table we have to buy by the CDC requirements and restrictions that we won't be eating so you're going to have to eat in your home to represent us here at this table we are symbols you're gonna be doing the real thing so let's begin our sailing service week we traditionally begin by having the mother of household so whoever is the head matron of your household be ready to light the festival menorah candles and we have our brother Sarah sensual Harold we'll be hiding our candles after the song begins so let us begin by singing silently the shades of evening [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] Farook atop adonai elohenu melech ha-olam a share kitty sha new be minutes for toss deceive our new lay colleague ner shel yum told praise be Thou O Lord our God King of the universe who has sanctified us by that commandments and has commanded us to Kindle the festival lights Tony's silent shades of evening while she watched the can relax [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] now let us begin our Seder service we begin with an opening invocation Oh Lord our God we come on this Passover evening to recall and recant the early history of our forefathers who from the biblical days onward for imbued with a burning desire for freedom we give thanks for the event that became the great symbol of liberation namely the exodus from Egypt we pray that as we relive in words and symbols the ancient quest for Liberty that we shall be infused with a renewed spirit and inspiration along with the courage to continue the ongoing struggle to be free to serve thee the god of Our Fathers bless us Heavenly Father to survive these troublesome times and Lord we having some right now survive these troublesome times and in time to come and all of this stuff goes by the wayside let us celebrate this festival of freedom in fellowship with our brothers and sisters in the place where you choose to place your Holy Name Amen now we here are not going to participate in the drinking of anyone but those of you at home who have your Passover line use your life to sanctify this festival with the kiddush over one behold our wine and look at yours at home sounding is glorious challenge to all peoples throughout the world to rise up and be free let us pray at the time be not distant when all the world will be liberated from cruelty tyranny oppression and war and now let us recite the kaduche over one the new part are denied eloheynu melech ha'olam hamotzi beckham no bow raper dreams are boring to read hagatha praise be Thou O Lord our God King of the universe who created the fruit of a wine and as you take your first sip of wine let us hear the song praise ye the Lord [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Laughter] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] praise the Lord and I want to take this opportunity to thank the Lord for letting us leaders to reach this beautiful season but regatta adonai eloheynu melech ha'olam shehecheyanu became a new he began there's a man has a in English praise be Thou O Lord our God King of the universe who has kept us in life thank the Lord he did sustain us I don't care about that virus and enabled us to reach this season let us all say Amen now let us proceed to the actual Passover story and in this introductory call for Passover week we use the symbol of the matzah which is really the symbol a central symbol of the Passover Seder you hold this matzah it is a symbol of the bread of poverty and affliction which our ancestors ate when they were slaves in the land of Egypt thank the Lord that we have survived those objectives of poverty and are permitted to partake of the past overseas but we are aware that there are those who still hurt and are in need that is resolved therefore to strive unceasingly for that blessed day when all will share equally in the joy of Pesa when poverty will be no more and when mankind will enjoy freedom justice and peace but the freedom for which we strive means more than broken chains it means liberation from all those enslavement that walk the spirit and break the mind that destroyed the stole even though they may leave the flesh of Pesach Passover calls us to be free free from the enslavement of poverty injustice and inequality free from the tyranny of our own selves free from the corroding hatred that eats away at the ties that unite mankind hassock summons us to freedom pisaq calls upon us to put an end to all slavery pass our calls out in the name of God let my people go so they can have a feast in the wilderness there will be a feast [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] it is our tradition that the youngest child have to Seder asks for questions to get into the story of the Passover each question contains one of the key rich one of the key rituals of the Seder ceremony and its answer explains the meaning of the rituals in connection with the redemption of Israel from Egyptian slavery to help us with the four question his name is brother Josh Wilson of Belleville Virginia brother Josh are you there sir all right brother Josh read the first question why is this night different from all other nights on all other nights we eat lemon or a lemon bread why on this night - we eat only masa which is unleavened bread indeed brother Josh this night is very different from all other nights of the year but on this night we celebrate one of the most important events in the history of our people namely they are going forth in triumph from slavery into freedom we were slaves to Pharaoh in Egypt but by strength of hand the Lord brought us out from Egypt from the house of bondage when Pharaoh let our forefathers go from Egypt they were forced to flee in great haste and they did not have time to let the dough rise so they baked the bread called masa or unleavened bread the scripture says they were thrust out of could not tarry neither had they time to prepare any food for themselves in memory of this brother Josh we eat only matzah or unleavened bread on Passover or Pesach second question brother Josh all the nights we vegetables in herbs of all kind long this night do we eat only bitter herbs we eat only bitter herbs on this night for the Josh because our forefathers was slaves to Pharaoh in Egypt they made the Egyptians made their lives bitter with hard bondage in mortar and brick and in all men of labor in the fields in memory of this brother Josh we eat bits of herbs on Pesach night third question so Josh all other nights we do not get our urge in water or any thing even out else even once why on this night do we dip twice the parsley in salt water in the better herb and Carol said because our forefathers were slaves to Pharaoh in Egypt the first time we dip the parsley in the salt water to taste the brine of enslavement but also to remind us of the green that comes to life again in the springtime as earth and sea combine through divine impetus to give us sustenance the second time we dip tomorrow for the bitter herbs in the sweet corrosive as a sign of hope our forefathers were able to withstand the bitterness of slavery because that bitterness was sweetened with a hope of freedom those jaws question for on all other nights we sit upright or recline at the table while on this night do we do we all recline at the table we all recline we all recline at the table because our forefathers were slaves to Pharaoh in Egypt we recline to remind us that we can overcome slavery and bondage reclining at the table was a sign of freedom in ancient times and since our forefathers were freed on this night we symbolize that by reclining at the table these are very profound questions whether Josh we're gonna get more detailed answers when we recite the Passover story and we'll do it in Word and in song do you know the story of the Passover brother Josh yes sir you sure well let's hear the song no need the story of the Passover [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] stirring a rabbi bread the beginning the story begins early in the history of the Hebrew people when terror the father of Abraham lived in Mesopotamia doc commanded Abraham to leave his father's house and go to the land of Canaan where he would become the father of a great nation Abraham obeyed God's command and journeyed to Canaan there God blessed him and his family his son was Isaac and his grandson was Jacob and it was Jacob who went down to Egypt why did Jacob go down to Egypt because Joseph his son had become prime minister to Pharaoh king of Egypt and when a famine broke out in Canaan Joseph sent for his father and all his family to join him in Egypt there the Hebrews lived and multiplied the book of Deuteronomy gives this description a wandering our man was my father and he went down into Egypt and sojourn there few in number and he became their a nation great mighty and populous but soon a new king arose over Egypt who knew not Joseph and he enslaved the Israelites God had already warned Abraham that this would happen know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs and shall serve them and they shall afflict them for hundred years and also that nation whom they shall serve will I judge and afterward shall they come out with great substance thus the Israelites were to learn what it means to be a sled but they were also being pay to witness the faithfulness of God in keeping his covenant with Abraham God's faithfulness to Israel has continually been a source of strength to our fathers and to us for in every generation do men rise up against us and God delivers us from their hands the Lord told Abraham [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] the suffering of Israel in Egypt the new Pharaoh said to his people and recorded in Scripture quote behold the people of the children of Israel are more and mightier than we come let us deal wisely with them lest they multiply and it come to pass that when their falleth out any war they also join themselves unto our enemies and fight against us and so get them up out of the land therefore Sarah will set taskmasters over them to afflict them with heavy burdens and they built for pharaoh the treasure cities - and Ron seized thus the Egyptians made slaves of the Israelites and treated them with cruelty but the more they afflicted the Israelites the more they multiplied and grew as stated in Deuteronomy the Egyptians afflicted us and laid upon us hard bondage and we cried unto the Lord God of our fathers and the Lord heard our voice and looked on our affliction and on our labor and on our pressure so he's done that for our people down through the ages in an effort to destroy the Israelites Pharaoh commanded that every baby boy born to the Israelites be tossed into the Nile River and drown but one Hebrew baby law has always won one Hebrew baby boy was hidden among the reeds of the river it was found by Pharaoh's daughter and she called his name Moses because she drew him out of the water Moses sister has been watching and she offered Moses Mother as his nursemaid thus Moses was raised knowing his own people and he looked upon his fellow Israelites as his brothers but Moses was grown he came one day upon an Egyptian beating and Israelite in his anger he smoked the Egyptian and fearing the wrath of Pharaoh he fled to the land of Midian where he became a Shepherd of the flock of Jethro a priest of Midian one day while Moses was tending Jethro Spock the voice of God spoke to him from a burning bush saying I have surely seen the affliction of the affliction of my people which are in Egypt and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters well I know their sorrows and I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians Carnell come now therefore and I will send thee unto Pharaoh that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt go round Moses let my people go ah [Music] [Music] Oh [Music] Oh [Music] Oh [Music] [Music] Oh [Music] Oh [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] and Moses said unto God behold when I come unto the children of Israel and say unto them the god of your father hath sent me unto you and they say to me what is his name what shall I say unto them and God said and yet I share a yeah I am that I am and he said thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel yeah yeah Shama Connie I like him I am hath sent me unto you I am the God of Abraham [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] yeah yeah I share it yes I am that I am I am what I will be I will be what I hate I am what I was and I Adam put I will be nobody knows how to translate it it's the mystery of God who gives this mysterious name in the form of a riddle I am that I am and let us now go on with the story the triumph of Israel rabbi Britt Moses returned to Egypt armed with the promise that God had made he and his brother Aaron presented themselves before Pharaoh and demanded that the Israelites be freed God sent Moses and Haman God sent Moses and Aaron I wanted to take my children [Music] well done samosas in a run-down in Nederland I wanted to take my children people take it now [Music] but children of Isreal bamberd the kreizel of bread ready keep down from the halls were fed the bird the krytus love program rarely gave donkeys Salzburg people taking our roles now see again and again Moses stood before Pharaoh demanding let my people go but Pharaoh's heart was hardened God sent plague after plague upon the Egyptians nine plagues failed to move Pharaoh but a ten finally broke his will every Egyptian firstborn was slain the ten plagues were his father's blood frogs lice flies death of cattle boils hail locusts darkness death of firstborn following the tenth and final plague farewell hastily relented and cried frantically to hurry the Israelites out of the land as recorded in Scripture and it came to pass at midnight the Lord smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt there was a great cry in Egypt for there was not a house where there was not one day Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron by night and said rise up and get you forth from among my people and go serve the Lord as he have said in great haste the children of Israel departed but when they came to the Red Sea Pharaoh again broke his promise for his chariots pursued them the Lord caused the waters to be divided and the Israelites passed over safety then the waters closed on the Egyptians and all of their chariots of wool in the words of Deuteronomy and the Lord brought us forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand and with an outstretched arm and with great terribleness and with scythes and with wonders thus were our forefathers triumphantly redeemed from slavery in Egypt now we'll have a medley of songs the liberation of our forefathers from Egypt beginning with and the plagues shall not be upon you [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] were you prancing at home did you get off of that couch and raise up your feet in praise to the Almighty God this is a glorious celebration yes celebration of the freedom of our people amen celebrating the power the Almighty praise His Holy Name no matter what a man because he is the King of Kings the Lord of lords he rooms in the hearts of men and women and his ruling is going to bring us to the happiness and joy that we seek in the elimination of this copán 19 certainly in every age it is the duty of all of us to look upon ourselves as if we personally have come out of Egypt as it is said and thou shalt tell thy son in that day that it is because of what the Lord did for me for me oh I love to save me because it brings memories back of my former leader i Ju August karate jr. he almost jumped out of his seat one time this passage of the ceremony was being said what the Lord did for me when I came forth out of Egypt it was not only our forefathers whom God saved he saved us too therefore we are duty-bound to thank praise Lord glorify exalt Allah bless extol and revere him who performed all of these nerves for our fathers and for us he brought us forth from bondage to freedom and he'll do it today from sorrow to joy from morning to celebration from darkness to light and from enslavement to emancipation therefore let us sing before him the howl the Psalms of praise there are six of them from Psalms
