Scania Coach Motorhome Conversion

good afternoon all nick jordan here uh with a video of my latest build the scania l113 uh tag axle coach 1998 model uh so i'll take you for a bit of a tour inside we're towing a car behind this one and this has been a 12 week build quite a full-on 12 weeks but a good 12 weeks nonetheless a few mod plates down there the bus is licensed to seat nine so the driver plus four uh eight other people each of these seats have got child restraints on them so to give you a bit of a look up inside nice and clean and light vinyl floor i've actually dropped the this was an aisle bus had an aisle down the middle so i dropped the floor in this sort of center kitchen area i guess you'd call it it's uh go on the timber and these are adjustable legs on the on the timber bench tops that uh double as day beds for for the kids there's a few kids a nice couple with uh with some kids that i built this bus for and those day beds go down and or tables go down into into daybeds so uh just a bit of cabinetry over the top i've got uh the dometic aircons roof-mounted aircons in this one three kilowatt one at the front one at the rear if we go through to the kitchen area stringy bark bench tops off the black fittings with the with the taps and whatnot gas cooktop gas stove um if we get a bit of a look back here uh just a normal 240 volt fridge and a 240 volt microwave all run through a victron 48 volt system so all the power points in the bus switched from 240 over to 48 volt via the victron system got a slide out pantry in here uh so then if we go through to the rest of the bus shower there with uh what they call a glide away shower door it's like a roller door uh just little fuses in the victron little panel up there four bunks in the in the in the middle of the kids bedroom area the bunks all flip up and down so this would double as a lounge in the daytime and this side flips up and there's a tv under there for the kids um all led lights throughout and you can sort of turn down here you just sort of hit that and turn the lights on uh or you touch them themselves the lights themselves and they they dim and get brighter and whatnot just a few little cupboards for the for the kitties uh we're up where the the floor is raised up here so i've just put some hatches in where the aisle was and into the main bedroom nice and spacious overhead cupboards there's a couple of usb points we still need to fit um and a couple of trims along those the the old chair rails that uh we're struggling to find but uh aside from that if we come into the bedroom and have a look around the other way sort of nice clean cabinetry um a little bit of wiring just still sort of tidy up up there um another aircon unit up there some good hatches and the toilet it's just in here i'll just uh give you a bit of a look into the toilet so gravity flush dometic uh how traveller toilet i think that 511 blue with a view and it's like a nice neat little vanity with a sort of chrome waste on it and both the shower and the the tool that have got um uh that's switched from down here their own sort of vents which is good because there's no openable windows in this bus it's a uh they're all bonded windows throughout the bus uh but just oh sorry just to look back from here it's quite nice tv up there it's nice and spacious in this section here and yeah eight seat belted seats with child restraints on them and so that's about it for the inside we'll head outside it's an eight-speed manual 310 horsepower nice bus to drive especially with the tag axle on it nice and it sits well so we've got a six meter bit windy out here six metre awning up there that slides out and if i just open a few of these bins up for you which i should have already done uh we have a thousand liters of fresh water in there that's two 500 liter tanks uh gas bottles on the other side two seven two eight point five kilo gas bottles 500 litre grey tank and a 450 litre black tank on the other side there we've also got a 6.5 kilowatt generator in the back various power points all with usbs i think there's three doubles under the bus there's a water point there and there's actually a gas you can't see it but there's a uh a bayonet point for a gas bbq just behind that all new tyres new feet and if we head around the back we've got um the tow rig that jake's just setting up uh we've got the reverse camera up the top there which is quite handy so and then if we head round to the off side we've got gas hot water system uh it's just a rinnai b16 so instantaneous gas uh the black tank as i mentioned with the sort of valterra um fitting obviously you spin that the other way when you want to empty it um now the fresh water tank two eight kilogram or eight point five kilogram gas bottles that are actually on a slide i won't slide them out but they're on like a slide thingy so you can slide them all the way out washing machine obviously and then this bad boy 48 volt victron what do they call multi-plus inverter unit 5001 inverter smart charger twin solar controllers dc to dc power uh changeover switch all that sort of stuff that still confuses me we've got uh 500 air powers of batteries there so that's what we've got in there and that's about it really so she's a big one so again this is a 12-week build it's registered jake's ready to hit the road on his new adventure so if you see
