SCAN TO EMAIL USING OFFICE 365

hi hello welcome you all to another interesting session today let's discuss about the configuration methods scan to email using Office 365 platform [Music] Office 365 is a cloud-based an application the SMTP server will be hosted in the cloud so most of the corporate environment they would like to use their Cloud SMTP server to scan to email function so in order to configure that first login into the Office 365 account this account should have an Administration privileges so once you log in in the dashboard you will get different menus from the menu you'll have to go to the active users first you'll have to create a user which will be used for authentication purpose and this particular user should have SMTP auth enabled that's really important for that the select the user and select mail and selects the [Music] manage email apps [Music] the auth email SMTP that's really important so if that option is not enabled then you will not able to use your Office 365 account for scantry email purpose so now we have enabled the authentication let's see how to configure in the machine what are the necessary settings to be done so in order to do that open your remote user interface of your Canon device login as administrator go to system and registration and navigate to the send option then select network settings so in this network settings the SMTP is SMTP DOT office 365.com this is a common SMTP server address so the in this email address you will have to mention the email address which has an SMTP alt enabled so right now I am using one more email address one more user account basically so it doesn't have to be admin account as long as this account has authentication enabled that's more than enough SMTP protocol and port number 587 and 110 and select allow TLS SMTP DX and allow enable SMTP auth as well key in the same user account which has been created and given a permission and provide the necessary password for that particular account once the power password has been given just click to save okay then make sure this SMTP is working is it handshaking plus check SMTP connection you should get a message that the connections server was successful which means that the communication is still okay but this is not enough there are few more settings which needs to be checked as well go to the function settings and the communication email setting in this by default this option is not enabled like allow user without register normally the specific authentication and specific authentication user as a sender reply to that should be off so whatever settings enabled here that should be enabled click ok then open hours okay now we would like to scan from the device using Office 365 authentication so enter your email address this is the email address of the receiver who will be receiving that email from the system then keep your document and clicks start so the scan will be begin in a minute as soon as the scan has done automatically they scan the device should send an email to the respective users Gmail address so let's move check the Gmail address yeah we have received a document this is document which is scan so hope this will give an idea how to use Office 365 and thanks for watching foreign
