SAVING OUR RELATIONSHIP!

what a beautiful morning yes bud thinks so too i'm slightly less enthusiastic to hear him at this time of the day but he's very chatty this morning it's a stunningly beautiful day but looking around this room it's very clear to me that before i do anything outside we have to tidy this bedroom there are a pile of cushions literally taking over the bedroom yeah who's done that darling that that's a good thing that's a good thing i just wonder if you've seen the pink sofa because i could swear we used to have a pink sofa in here so it's fine and i haven't seen it before that we had a copper chair in the bathroom look we've still got a copper chair in the bathroom i think yes the side oh well i mean i can see a copper i think there's less on there than i was yesterday so you've tidied a little bit i think but where else am i supposed to put my robes and gardening dress it's critical whereas you in the wash you could definitely you could surely definitely hang these i've just come back from the netherlands i was wearing that last night i was wearing that the night before i was going to do the day before so it's just it's but oh i didn't show you did i uh i didn't put some things in the netherlands uh more clothes because actually i can see a little bit of pink over here and i think we need to shut that down to shut look oh look my beautiful doll hello beautiful doll scott man scott man's in the under reaches okay i don't think i showed you the uh enameled hooks i got no hooks i got them for the bathroom i'll have those seriously little problem with yeah of course but i'd love this one it's an intervention they're enameled they're quite all i think these were 750 these were 6.50 a piece oh i got them dead i think i got them down to 24 now 25 for actually i really like them they're perfect for the bathroom because i know we're always looking for hooks could get more room i was hooked up you think you've got quite a lot do you want to know how happy i am at the thought of more more robes that that's how happy i am at the thought of more robes that was me already planning the road purchase at the age of two yes okay the cushions are my fault i'm gonna i'm going to accept the cushions of my fault okay i do all the cushions you put the hooks up sure i've got three smaller big ones i think we need them all obviously i love this bathroom it'd be really nice to have a copper chair again okay like that in that yes love it this is voice that's word you should be fine yeah and just fine on the door as well so in fact it's not too tricky tricky well just to find the screws that don't go through the door to the other side yeah i am really really happy with that idea i'll be even happier when it's put into action and we'll do it now and let's get that pink sofa back i mean i'm sure i bought one no honestly i saw one here once i will start with the cushions yes well i didn't realize just for that little tiny pile of cushion covers that is how many cushions i had to order in the dutch they're here yeah of course i did that for you thank you slash they were the cheapest feather ones like i'm just making a cup of tea let me just this is a surprising sight that's more cars than we usually get any idea what's happening wash island it doesn't matter i should know it's not it's supposed to be expected maybe natty knows what's going on nutty there's a lot of cars she doesn't know it's not the people i know have i arranged something and i've forgotten i arranged it no that's quite likely let's go let's go have a look what's happening everything bikes and it's so lovely wow oh so many wow three times nutty it is the people wow oh my goodness this is beautiful we've got a traffic jam in the courtyard we've never had a traffic jam in the courtyard us into his willy no slowly bringing percy's tools back to life with the percy board i'm so happy to see the passing board again and i think percy's going to be very happy to see the percy board i mean you've really hit the ground running with the most important thing for percy did he have a little word with you before you got here no but me uh no i know what he's like when it comes to his tools so i was stressing when i walk in there yeah as nice as it looks now yeah where are the tools it's a professional look we need it back to all the brick-a-brack and knick-knacks and yeah who's got my screwdriver exactly yeah yeah we need to get back to this we'll get there yeah love it thanks grant no worries i've popped out to see the chickens i have some treats for them but also i wanted to see if they've become proficient players of the xylophone yet it's quite likely they've had it in there for a couple of days now strange i can't hear any xylophone music not just yet no twinkle twinkle little star beethoven showing much more interest in last night's leftovers still no one on the swing and someone in the comments said that we may put it too high and they have to get used to it much close to the ground first and then we can raise it so i'm just going to lower the swing and put lots of food around it i have brought the leftovers of focaccia with cheese on i mean what chicken wouldn't love that and we'll see if this works that is very low now that will barely swing it's it's being stopped by the grass it's much more secure let's see if we can get them used to this with some delicious cheesy for catcher i can't see nancy wandering around so let's have a little look and see if she's still sitting i'm really hoping she's broody oh oh well that's not where she was last time she was there last time so i don't know again if she's just laying an egg or maybe this is where we put the false marble egg to encourage her and she's sitting here so perhaps oh fingers crossed oh they're all heading off that was a joy what a joy it's amazing how beautiful cars don't just give pleasure to the person driving them but to everyone who sees them going fast i love seeing them in the courtyard that's the sort of cars that the chateau needs just parked all the time out there now i'm heading back into the kitchen because i'm going to try and put some of the fertilized eggs underneath nancy i hope that she's rude enough to sit on them until they turn into little chicks how did the tour go it went well well done i was pretty impressed oh thank you well nothing that little girl translate can't help me i forgot the word for ruth and i've got the word for field and a word for orchard version yes but we're not here to discuss linguistics we have really important things at hand yes we think we may have a broody chicken and we need to get some fertile eggs underneath her so these are the eggs on these yep and they should all be fertile because the cocktail's been in there the omelet is it extra skilled i could never say it properly i think it's extra skeletal it's the egg skeleton anyway it's brilliant whatever it is and they just roll around yes which means that the top ones are the newest i think so so let's make sure we've got some that seem different colors different sizes different shapes how many put underneath there five i think we're pretty yeah i think five is the max it's not a very big chicken they all look they all look different don't they come in come in yeah we're gonna put them under a broody chicken obviously i will be killing spud on the way oh you and i had a big problem with spud last night but i have the most fabulous video of him just looking up at me going wow you don't need another knock in the shadow you do know oh because he was around my side by about 6 30. then he came back earlier than that was it earlier he went around the back then he came back around the front yeah so and he was talking to thor and he was talking to the cockerel on this side and then the cockrell on that side started and it was he was so chatty yes so this week we're going to move the cockroach to a pen at the far end which is a shame because a spud wanders around it's really lovely to see him wandering around but no he's got to go to the end he's well trained spot keeps away from the bottom of my room until late in the morning so he's really what so you just people put people who like to get up early over in the tech room but after 19 hours on the road yesterday i didn't want to be up early this morning it was worse i'm with you i would rather have the liar i just wanted just even kind of to sleep for six it's pretty desperate times we're like even just till six would have been over there i hope they'll hatch we all hope they'll hatch this is why we're doing it oh come on they're really cute oh no it's nancy out that's what i was thinking but i didn't see her you're okay [Music] yes no no no nancy sit please still be so how do we do this right i just watched a video about it gently move her into the one next to it and then put her back on the eggs i'll take away the marble one put the eggs there i've only got one hand free i'm holding a telephone i hold the telephone if someone gets pecked you want it to be me no no no but i'm just you watch the video i don't know how to do this all right let's see we're just going to try can you just leave it how would we get the eggs underneath put your hand underneath there we go i think someone else has already put some under her so we just leave them in fact we may as well just leave them there's no little white one there going to add a little white one there you go there's another one yes they're warm she's been sitting on them there's no doubt whatsoever oh she tried to pick like me there's a one that one's how do you how about you get rid of the white when you had it well she had the marble one under there as well so she should be okay oh yep that's me peck twice and it's a very pretty can you say that i didn't deserve that let's give her a bit of privacy yes the marble-like work yes all right let's take the eggs back okay take these away you do not need them great thing about dresses multi-purpose there you go and the marble one no longer needed right it's so warm touch that it's really warm yes and marble is a very cold material she's been sitting on this for a while all right nancy we're going to leave you so clever nancy you are my favorite chicken so how does it work food wise move the water right up yes water i think in the shade here and the peck toy i think is in a good spot you can easily get to it there yes no one on the swing yet but look we've got one of three objectives objective number one get chickens to play on swing objectives number two get chickens to become proficient xylophone players objective number three get chicks please get checked to become more xylophone players have an entire orchestra perfect i love it great we'll get a glockenspiel next i cannot believe how warm it is i think it's nearly 30 degrees today but you've got to come this way because i spotted a new clematis full of i want to show you rather than full sun oh it's a nightmare of a dummies on dressing day if i am really really hot okay that's the ones we'd already seen they are so beautiful but there's new ones out just down here i know i love it too so pretty the thornless blackberries are in full bloom are they beautiful i know i knew you'd be really happy with that but also here look the other clematis your shadows with us eyeshadow yeah look behind you all right bud look at these there's three stunning oh yes bud likes them too the onions are getting on i think we'll be harvesting onions pretty soon and the potatoes are doing really well what's the desires no i think the desserts are on the other side if i remember correctly these are the charlotte's oh actually there's a little label here this one i like to show it as much as the desert charlotte only because your mother's called that's right yes have you chatted to spud yes i've had i've had a very stern word me too so i told him i want him stuffed he said then trust and then roast it and he just was looked me in the eye i went whoa [Laughter] fella was about to join you for lunch and you disappeared well this has been i don't know not annoying me but bugging me a little bit it's not used very much is it no and it's really pretty so i was thinking maybe putting it in the courtyard opposite where the little table is with the i really like the little table and chairs i like the whole cafe vibe in the courtyard at the moment uh we really need to get four matching benches but yes for now okay why not i think it's a good idea i think more people will sit out there yes there's another spot and the sun is out but can you actually carry that by yourself i'm not sure you can oh my god this is nick of time stuff oh phillip oh dear [Laughter] yeah gonna be nice to be a part of a team oh we were a team in that room the last few days you were in the wallpapering team oh that was a good team i was in the woodworking lonesome billy no mate team oh and then the workshop billy no my team yeah now that is actually true the only thing company i have in there is the whirring sound of the motor don't lie you had grant grant was on your team god just decided to do something he's on holiday and he's just gone in empty i know she's amazing he is amazing love having him back all right see you later we have spent the last few days filming the decoration of the marquis sitting room here for british tv and it was such hard work we were just working until late at night to get everything done every evening filming all day and yeah we're a goodness knows how many to go how's your side of the room going it's going all right oh at least i've got a company over my side of the room i've got a friend who's come to visit but nick are you planning on yeah he's super chatty nick are you planning on helping me tidy i think he's too wrapped up he just he loves that book he absolutely loves that book by the way have you ever done this yet oh no i love it i love it one of our guests has just given this to me and it's so beautiful it's a memory of cortona i know with the glasses yes we have to find somewhere to put that i think it'll go bought them yeah if you didn't like them for here we could use them in one of the uh this is way easier than the door how does this look oh look it looks like it's got a train that's right i like that and i would just like to point out that this isn't even mine i was hiding half of the thing that's yours it is yours up here and now phillips robe is over next to mine i like it i really like it thanks oh honestly i love it now about that pink sofa fine i know if you notice what's that that actually makes me really happy can we try and keep it like that oh how about the cream though i'll keep the bathroom out okay if you keep the bedroom like that all right i'm a little bit concerned though that there are about a million cushions to go i love these they're the old yes uh ones that my mother was collecting we're turning them into fish rooms look i hadn't seen the inside of those me neither that's super pretty lovely look at this one i love this one oh that's sweet it's so beautiful that would look perfectly your mother's apartment emery you've already got the rose oh yes okay let us try the rose bench it's very diligent there you go cousin voila stay drinking it's five days this is literally made a little outdoor sitting room because you can sit there we're here rosie courtyard has really taken off oh no rosie table still proving more popular hmm table they've gone for rose table i've forgotten about the blasted cushions where am i going to put them well actually most of them all the rooms are let out right now and maybe these going to participate but other than that i think we have to wait until so what you're saying is that that is now our bed yes until everyone's moved out after the weekend yes brilliant brilliant what genius okay i have to go down and lay the table and i'm gonna give this back to emory okay trust me to use it but i think christ is inverted and our relationship is saved thanks to hooks thanks to hooks and a pink sofa yes they got you hooked on me oh and now i'm going to be ending it again oh the sofa was pretty close [Music] well the room is definitely tidier but it's all gone a bit princess and the pee in here if i'm honest i'm not convinced this is what i was going for when i decided to tidy the room this morning oh i do want to show everyone this this is really fun philip found it on ebay i think and it's by rosenthal and it's a vaz so it's porcelain but looks just like a paper bag for some reason i find that really delightful and another thing that's made me really happy recently is i had bought these bulbs when i went to the netherlands to see philip in the play and they're just coming to the end of their life they've been so so pretty but what made me really happy is that when i got back i found that they fit perfectly in my little havaland cup so when these are finished i'll keep the bulbs put in the garden i will reuse the inner part to plant another bulb and put it back in the cup so i love that on here and i've really enjoyed watching them grow hello it looks so nice i love the gold with the pink i love that summery table with pinks and greens i could actually get used to this but brilliant though it is i do have to get up because i have to get dressed for dinner tonight and it is such a hot day still at this time that i want something really really floaty in fact how about this this is very loose i love it because it's just a silk dress shorter at the front and then with a kind of flowing train behind perfect on a hot day yeah well we have very glamorously dressed kitchen help i have to say and cyril wow it smells so good in here all evening everyone has been going crazy with hunger but it's huge perfectly cooked freaky ruled by a chicken wow and that's from the local farm organic farm fantastic thank 10 kilometers from here okay i don't even want to see what the rest is because i want it to be a surprise i'm going to go out the table really isn't complete until everyone's at it is it that's what the final decoration of the people but i do love what phillips done oh my goodness asparagus i'm very happy about this oh my goodness wow love it emily you do scrub up really well [Laughter] and i just have to show the t-shirt to everybody i love the table but i love the t-shirt more oh thank you yeah yeah everybody does that's getting so warm this is the first time you've worn
