This is 1Kilo ground pork then add 500g shrimp cleaned and deveined Then add 2pcs finely chopped onions Add 2pcs grated carrots Add chopped spring onions Add 1/2 tsp salt Add ground black pepper Add 2Tbsp soy sauce Add 1Tbsp liquid seasoning Add 3Tbsp oyster sauce Add 3Tbsp sesame oil Add pc medium size egg Mix thoroughly Add 3Tbsp cornstarch Mix thoroughly Get siomai or molo wrapper and place it flat on your palm Scoop about 2Tbsp of the meat mixture and curl up your fingers Then form your thumb and pointer finger into a ring and flatten the bottom of the wrapper Flatten the top with your scooper then gently press around the siomai wrapper Do the same to the rest of the meat mixture. NOTE!!! It doesn’t have to be perfect. Just make sure that siomai wrapper is hugging the meat mixture securely TIP!!! You could freeze this in the fridge to be steamed for the next day. Set aside then it’s ready for steaming. TIP!!! Brush the steamer that comes into contact with the siomai with cooking oil so it won’t stick. TIP!!! Place the siomai while flame is still off so you won’t accidentally burn yourself NOTE!!! Give enough space to each siomai so it’s easier to separate when cooked. Then turn on flame on high setting. When water starts to boil, set timer for about 10-15 min. After about 10-15min., the siomai are cooked but still juicy inside. If you have a steamer with multiple layers, steam for about 15-20min. Set aside and do the same to all the siomai to be steamed Then serve this with my chili garlic oil (link in the description on how to make it) This is just a simple siomai sauce that I made (I’ll try to make a video)
