hello everybody my name is katrinka i'm a professional singer and a vocal coach and welcome back to my channel back in december i did a review or reaction to one very stunning singer i was not expecting that of reaction i was super emotional because it was one of my favorite songs and i promised myself that i'm gonna go back and look at her a little bit more and that's why we are gonna be further ado where are you there by sarah geronimo so her last performance that i watched was super emotional and i praised her for the emotional delivery it was really incredible and since this is also a pretty emotional song i'm expecting nothing less [Music] damn i remember her voice way way higher maybe it's a time difference but also this song kind of expects you to really drop the larynx down there because it creates beautiful substantial sound and she's making it very well a lot of people pray singers just for that really high builds but low notes can be very tricky and difficult as well sometimes it causes a little breathy she's dropping really low [Music] she is still in the vicinity of uh this is no trouble for me this is still super easy for her this is not her highest build we definitely heard her singing way higher but she's focused on how she is keeping that energy that she started very low it was low she dropped her larynx it was very substantial and she is still sustaining that kind of energy which is making that sound just so full and beautiful truly truly beautiful her runs um kind canada's the way she structures the runs are a little a little reminding me of how beyonce actually structures her runs and i love that that's one of my favorite types of runs [Music] it has base and gospel you can 100 persons hell which is one of the best you can feel it right where are you there you go [Music] okay i'm just gonna stop it real quick the way she builds her tension she's doing uh the same kind of thing that she did in the creep i think that sergey is absolute magician when it comes to this the energy that she can exude from her is just breathtaking i love the heavy vibrato i love that she completely kept the whole substance of her voice the belts were absolutely beautiful we had a little flip to the head voice there where a little of the detention kind of disappeared which is completely fine because it's completely different placement i love it that you put it there it was really really pretty touch now let's continue and probably just let it play because i don't want the magic to disappear [Music] beautiful diffusion sometimes it causes me to truly [Music] gorgeous vibrato i will replay it again and just let it hold play from the part where she is starting to build the tension just so we can actually perceive how she build it up and then literally the beautiful diffusion that was followed by that things that i would definitely focus on is how she builds the energy and the tension you can feel it building inside of you and that's what you kind of want to achieve with your audience and i feel it i hope you guys feel it as well because it really is an outstanding example how to build tension very well she's using a lot of heavy vibrato which she was singing with the quite a different style when it came to belts in the creep now she's keeping a lot of heaviness a lot of substance in her voice she's not holding back she's not switching into nasal area she's keeping it very very big but uh one of the fantastic things that she has is that she doesn't have too bright and metallic belts her belts are absolutely stunning and it's the arch is good to digest so if you are listening to them you don't get too overwhelmed also the way she is finishing the word tremble which is just such a key word to the song with that heavy vibrato and with every tremble she is just ramping up that vibrato to build that tension it's really magical let's check it out [Music] again [Music] [Music] so [Music] where [Music] this is lightest better in comparison to what you just did it's crazy [Music] [Music] is stunning really stunning this is definitely one of the songs that are also very heavy to digest like you listen to it and uh you kind of feel like you just had a big meal and you need to properly digest it to really appreciate it it is a stunning cover it is really really beautiful adaptation and uh i think she really went with what she does the best she's not just a very good singer her technical knowledge of her voice is so good that it actually comes second when she's singing technicalities are there and she definitely knows how to build and she is building very sustainably and we've heard her belting completely differently in creep but the way she can deliver songs emotionally just cut it just completely drags you and pin you to the screen and it's just really really stunning i appreciate you guys recommending me to react to sarah g i am looking forward to more reactions to her let me know down in the comments
