cyberpunk 2077 is teaming to the brim with  important existential and philosophical questions   Galore questions such as what is the point of  life what constitutes living are small acts of evil   Justified to serve a greater good but above all  of these sits a topic of far greater controversy   which is the best operating system Sandevistan  cyberdeck or berserk indeed this has been the   spark of many internet debates over the two years  since cyberpunk released with some positing Sandevistan  to be rad and cool others promoting the  cyber deck because it's clever and computery hell   there's even some people who like berserk and  you know what I've seen some pretty compelling   arguments and suggestions as to why actually that  one might be really good so stick with me today   as we break down the pros and cons of each of  these systems and whilst ultimately the verdict   of which is best is always going to come down to  personal preference in this case I will be giving   suggestions as to the best choice with regards to  a few build types so without further Ado let's get   into it I want to kick this off with arguably the  most iconic of the three Sandevistan shot into   the Limelight back in September 2022 after being  the primary piece of cyberware used by cyberpunk   edgerunner's protagonist David Martinez to sum up  briefly the Sandevistan is essentially a speed   boosting device portrayed in both the game and  the show in a similar fashion to the Quicksilver   scenes from the X-Men movies indeed from the  perspective of you the player upon activating   the Sandevistan time appears to slow with  enemies around you standing virtually still   as you continue to move at normal speed with  this Barry allenesque power you can dispatch   enemies with relative ease as they're utterly  powerless to move against your Lightning Fast   attacks there are three main factors to look into  when deciding which Sandevistan is best for   you these being how much they Slow Time by how  long they slow time for and how long they take   to cool down before you can slow time again there  are other stats of course some sandys boost crit   chance others boost damage though in my opinion  these are all trivial bonuses when ranked against   the big three factors now the best Sandevistan  build in my humble opinion though I've trialled several at this point so they have a reasonable  idea is the QianT mark IV two second cooldown build   my video for which you can find in the corner  of the screen now or in the description this   thing is essentially an endless Sandevistan  usage wherein you can pretty much stop time or   I guess heavily slow it near constantly it almost  reminds me of that Simpsons episode with Bart and   the magic stopwatch something I haven't thought  about in years actually I want to re-watch that   now anyway this build is indeed brilliant the main  issue with acquiring such a god-tier means to rule   night City though is it takes time experience  and a hell of a lot of skill balancing I mean   we need top tier crafting skills for this build  as well as good enough reflexes to equip the   thing in the first place not to mention a good  balance with other perks if you don't want to   die from accidentally running into a stray bullet  this is why I'm also going to talk about the Sandevistan at lower tiers as well I actually have  a little experience in this area coming right   off the back of just having ranked all the Epic  and rare Sandevistan's too what I can say is   that no matter which Sandevistan you choose you  are gonna notice a massive difference in gameplay   whether slowing Time by fifty percent twenty five  percent or hell even ten percent if you go with   the warp dancer the novelty of a time-slowing  superpower device does not diminish whether   you're quite early in the game or an OP Beast  nearing 100 completion one thing I'll say is the   Sandevistan never stops being a massive load  of fun I would like to point out however that   unless going with the two second QianT build or the  4 second Dynalar build which I've also mentioned   before the cooldown is gonna be a highly noticed  aspect here unless you want to be hiding behind   cover and waiting for half of every fight then  Sandevistan by itself in most cases just ain't   gonna cut it forcing you to pursue other avenues  of combat like guns which you can employ whilst   waiting for the Sandevistan to cool down this  might make your playthrough a little more varied   and interesting but it's also going to eat away  at more of those perk points now you might have   to also invest into pistol skill trees as well as  blades I'm not saying a diversified build is bad   hell I think it's good I just also acknowledge  that developing a really decent Sandevistan  build is a lot more time and effort than simply  acquiring a decent OS and calling it a day the   final point I have on Sandevistan's for now at  least is what actually pairs well with them I've   learned through the four or so Sandevistan  Centric videos that I've done that the best way   to use this thing ultimately is alongside melee  weapons this is because the time slowing effect   incorporated into the ability does not extend to  bullets as well other than Landing you extra time   to steady up your aim a Sandy won't give you that  much of an edge in combat when it comes to ranged   weapons it certainly has its usage and I still  enjoy using guns alongside the Sandy though I   find the only ones that really work well here  are faster firing guns such as Lizzie however   if you really want to get the best out of using  any Sandevistan you're going to want to stick   predominantly to melee weapons and throwing knives  whilst this is certainly useful for the general   betterment of your Sandevistan build it can  ultimately be limiting if you're wanting to be   some gun-toting cowboy-esque lone Wanderer  for instance no hold on sorry that's actually   a bad example because the whole fastest gun in  the west thing would no doubt benefit from having...  nevertheless let's leave this for  a minute and move on to berserk seeing as I just tore up half the game's weapons  on account of not being a great fit for the   Sandevistan however good they are in their  own right I think now is a perfect time to   talk up a somewhat underrated piece of Kit in  cyberpunk 2077. berserk appears to have flown   almost completely under the radar across the  two years cyberpunk 2077 has existed indeed if   we type cyberpunk 2077 berserk into YouTube we get  very few results I mean one of the top videos is   me and that's not even got 5,000 views putting  it at the lower end of my viewership evidently   not many people are searching for or care about  berserk though considering it doesn't provide   an extensive range of unique abilities or have an  anime based around it this is rather unsurprising   and actually that's a crying shame because  within the comments section of said video I've   just mentioned exist some excellent use cases for  the berserk OS but first as it's clear that very   few people have ever bothered with this cyberware  you're most likely wondering what does that one do   again well, dear viewer berserk is essentially  a generalized stat boost increasing damage armor   and resistances as well well as reducing The  Recoil and sway of guns yes that's right guns   unlike our dear friend the Sandevistan the  berserk is actually built to directly improve   your Effectiveness with Ballistics this is  particularly useful of course while still in   close range combat using shotgun's power pistols  and the like I've said in past videos I didn't   enjoy using the berserk as much as I didn't  find it provided much noticeable utility when   playing sure superhero Landing exists but it's  underpowered at the very least if not downright   annoying sometimes what berserk does do however  is provide a generous bonus across a wide array   of stats and if your build is more of the run in  guns blazing tank type that has no need for Sandevistan or cyberdeck this will no doubt be a  welcome addition which is better to have than   not it also levels XP faster and is therefore  a decent grind machine Above All Else as we get   further into the game the utility of Berserk  becomes more and more useful with initial   models providing a very basic 10 second boost  before inflicting a 60 second cooldown leaving   you panicking for a minute as you're inevitably  fighting much more powerful and scary enemies   as time goes on models become more liberal with  time on compared to time off with the Zetatech   Mark 5 offering both a 30 second duration and a 30  second cooldown with three legendary chain berserk   mods and the bio conductor that cooldown can even  get down all the way to six seconds unlike with   the Sandevistan though I wouldn't Focus all my  energy into reducing berserk's cooldown as much   as I possibly can the actual best thing about  this OS lies in some of the other mods which   can be applied to it beast mode for example  literally doubles melee damage whilst berserk   is active making pretty much any decent melee  weapon a one-shotting device you can also armour   yourself up by stacking armored berserk leading  to undoubtedly the most tanky build in the game   and probably bringing you the closest to Adam  Smasher as is possible additionally stack 3 focus   berserks and you can reduce weapon Sway and recoil  by 90% we're going to explore some final points on   berserk later in the video but for now let's  dive into the third and final OS on this list   as I'm sure most of you are familiar cyberdeck's  allow you to deploy a range of 17 different quick   hacks each of these have a unique use ranging  from electrocuting enemies to making their guns   not work whilst a cyber deck ultimately has the  one purpose of uploading various hacks that do   stuff to people and machines the range of what  said varying things can be are what makes the   cyber deck by far the most versatile of the three  OS types one immediate caveat to this which I can   address right off the bat is the extra effort and  cost involved in this type of build not only do   you have to Fork out on a great cyber deck but  up to six quick hacks which you'll be slotting   in as well that being said there's less faffing  around with mods like heatsinks which are a must   for most Sandevistan users what's more earlier  models of the cyberdeck are only going to have two   to three slots which whilst far more limiting  encourages you to pool resources earlier in   the game into just two or three good quick hacks  though if you want to be using this thing all the   time you're gonna have to diversify into stats and  cyberware which boost Ram capacity reduce ram cost   or improve Ram recovery as this will massively  affect how often you can use this potentially   very op quick hacking ability another huge benefit  to Quick hacking is the breach protocol abilities   often afforded by higher tier quick hacks these  allow you to upload programs across an entire   system and everyone on it allowing for insane  Feats of power like blinding an entire base   equally using some quick hacks will reduce the  ram cost of future ones which can be exploited   into a cycle wherein every hack just costs one  ram for the majority of combat but I'm starting   to sound a little biased here so what can't the  cyberdeck do well it does nothing to improve your   actual weapon stats instead serving as a secondary  skillset to be employed alongside traditional   weapons in combat oh except for legendary short  circuit which makes all crit damage from weapons   apply an extra 5,000 points of electrical damage  okay that's pretty amazing but do bear in mind   this particular quick hack can only be found very  rarely and probably needs crafting which requires   the batmoss Legacy perk which in and of itself  requires the full 20 intelligence don't get me   wrong for any Netrunner build this is a must  have though spending 20 attribute points   into intelligence will be a big cost to a lot  of players and it really depends on your play   style so what types of builds benefit from Quick  hacks the most well I think sniper style Recon   builds could really benefit from them with ping  alone helping to light up all enemies for easy   headshots I've not heard many people playing  in this sort of style for cyberpunk but it's   personally my default go-to in most games what's  more for the Murk Man build I did last week I   was a knife throwing ninja who also went heavy on  quick hacking this is a far more close range build   which I've advocated to be Sandevistan and berserk  territory before yet this also benefited massively   from the cyberdeck the list goes on the short  circuit ability I've mentioned is ridiculous when   paired with automatic weapons as the chance of a  crit hit is so much higher through sheer bullets fired   now that I've summed up each of these three in  reasonable detail it's time for some final points   as I've said before there is no ultimate winner  here each of the three has their own merits and   caveats I'd like to draw your attention now to  a poll I did a couple weeks ago on my community   tab as you can see almost two-thirds of people  voted for Sandevistan meaning there is a   clear public favorite here right well maybe  not quite so fast because a the majority of   this Channel's success already centers around  Sandevistan-based videos which is where the   majority of my Subs came from in the first place  and B cyberpunk has gained a lot of new players in   the last few months with many coming off the back  of edgeRunners and therefore will have mainly   just used Sandevistan's General sentiment in  the comments in fact is almost entirely tailored   to the view that yes Sandevistan's are rad and  cool though cyberdeck's unlock many more Avenues of   gameplay but it's starting to sound a bit like  I'm [ __ ] on the Sandy here I promise I'm not   it is so cool and with a decent build especially  an utter joy to use for me personally it isn't the   most versatile way to play but it is the most  satisfying you can't quite beat tearing through   hordes of enemies at Lightning Fast speeds  whilst wielding a katana or monowire say I feel   like some ridiculously powerful anime character  and I don't think I've ever played another game   which has emulated that feeling better if you  do know of other games that emulate that feeling   better comment down below because I don't think  I've actually played that many I'll concede that   berserk isn't for everyone with the Sandevistan  and cyber deck both serving as far more unique and   original ideas for cyberpunk itself and many will  find those two more fun to play however for those   who just want to play this more like a classic  FPS or are maybe on their second or third playthrough   and wanting to try something different I would  seriously recommend it unlike the other two it   doesn't take away from that more classic combat  feel simply allowing you to run and Gun whilst   also enjoying some pretty neat bonuses last thing  I'll say about it is give it a go whack some neat   mods onto it and have a blast it may be more fun  than you think finally at half the popularity of   the Sandevistan apparently we have the cyber  deck without a doubt the most versatile way to   play this for me is what puts the Cyber into  cyberpunk it's the sort of thing that just works   in a game like this with the huge multitude of quick  hacks on offer it's a way to experience just how   reliant on Tech this world has become everywhere  you look there's hackable devices ways in which   you the player can exploit the very systems your  enemies have put in place with the power behind   the cyber deck you can take all sorts of routes  Blitz through combat with nothing but a thought   and a look avoid the fight entirely by walking  through a room of blind foes make your enemies   destroy themselves even and wander in afterwards  to pick up the pieces there's no real limit here   to just what combination of tactics can be used  and I've seen so many people in the comments   suggesting all sorts of wacky and wonderful ways  to pair and use different quick hacks together if   you want some great suggestions then I suggest  checking out my quick hacks ranked video watch   it if you want for more info on quick hacks but  more importantly scroll down into the comments   section and just have a read so to sum up each  of the three operating systems in one word each   granted that doesn't do any of them justice but  it's just how I'm gonna summarize here the   Sandevistan is the most satisfying berserk is  the most tanky and cyberdeck the most versatile   you can pick different words to best describe  them if you want these are just my opinion of   what fits each so comment down below your favorite  operating system in cyberpunk 2077. did this video   convince you to try one you haven't used before  let me know as always likes go a long way for   helping out both the video and the channel  and finally if you're new around here I have   a bunch more cyberpunk content with two new  videos dropping every week I cover everything   from builds rankings lore and speculation for  the future if that sounds good then be sure   to hit that subscribe button and notification  Bell to stay up to date on all my future videos   thanks for watching I'm Sam Bram you guys are  awesome and I will see you in another video
