today it's your last chance to get Great PC Hardware deals this is why you do not trust cloud storage ryzen 8000g gets an insane gaming performance boost and even more ryzen parts are coming to am4 boards welcome everyone to gamer Mel first up for today this is your last chance to get a great deal on PC hardware and if you're sick of hearing about these don't worry this is my last segment on it but given this story on SSD prices going up I thought I'd share some of my favorite deals and of course you'll find affiliate links to these in the description below they don't cost you anything more and it helps the channel out starting things off we have this 4 tbte PCI Express 4.0 SSD by crucial for just $180 and there's quite a few deals on current and past generation ryzen processors as well as up to 29% off on Intel CPUs finally if you're looking for a great ultralight Mouse The Glorious Model D is an unreal fig 50% off with an extra 5% off when you press this so there are a ton of deals here once again check the description for those next up I have a very big reminder that you should never fully trust cloud services to store your important data but first Now's the Time to join me and millions more to learn the deeper side of computers with the best learning platform in today's sponsor brilliant the one place that was built to teach the stem field so they know a thing or two about computer science but the real reason brilliant is the place I use is because they teach the way I learn which is by letting me jump in and do it myself so no more sitting through boring lectures instead they use these puzzles that start you off with simple Concepts and eventually add more until you're learning things you never thought you could from large language models that power AI to programming learning how computer memory works and so much more basically brillian is the best and they believe it so much that they're letting my viewers try it out for 30 days free when you visit at that cloud storage is nothing but someone else's server it's not some magical solution that nothing can happen to just because it's owned by some massive company case in point according to a news story from the register quite a few Google Drive users are reporting that files are Vanishing out of nowhere the user who started the initial support thread claims that all data from May of this year until now had mysteriously vanished and it doesn't show that anything was deleted or anything like that so it's as if it reverted back to months ago and so far recovery from support has failed worse yet multiple others have reported something similar with one company claiming thousands of files and folders have disappeared the register shows one user who claims to have a fix but I'd be very careful as it hasn't been tested from from what I've seen luckily Google does appear to be taking it very seriously and is working on a fix but once again I really think this shows just how important it is to have backups other than cloud storage and really I'm probably going to pick up this sonology in as myself because of this I had been debating on it but this may have been the kick I needed next up a massive leak just surfice that gives a Specs release date and performance for Amy's ryzen 8000g desktop apus the story comes from the Iranian media Outlet there's no way I'm pronouncing that so this right here in the story they listed the upcoming apus where you can see they're a total of 14 and as the earlier leaks suggested they do look to be called ryzen 8000 so AMD is planning to skip 7,000 and go straight to 8,000 for their desktop Parts overall we have four main apus the ryzen 7 8700g ryzen 5 8600 G and 8500g and ryzen 3 8300 G G the 8700g and 8600 G are based on Phoenix 1 with the lower-end models based on the smaller Phoenix 2 we have the main G models which get up to a 65 wat TDP and the energy efficient GE models that get 35 Watts then every model gets a pro version moving over to Specs you can see that the main 8700g comes with an AE 16 thread CPU with a base clock of 4.2 GHz and a boost of 5.1 of course that means AMD won't be moving up in CPU cores but while it isn't listed here leak suggests the 8700g will come with 12 cus and it's of course Rd A3 so the GPU gets a big boost there next we have the 8600 G which is a six core 12 thread CPU with a base clock of 4.35 GHz and a boost of five then the 8500g comes with a base clock of 3.55 GHz and a boost of 5 finally the 8300 G is a four core 8 thread CPU with a base clock of 3.4 45 GHz and a boost of 4.9 because the GE models have a lower TDP they all come with lower clocks now while specs are nice to know and they give us a good idea of performance the outlet also shared benchmarks of the upcoming apus versus their last gen counterparts starting things off according to this in synthetic benchmarks the ryzen 7 model gets up to 2.5 times plus the performance of their 5000g apus some benchmarks don't show a huge boost but let's just say it's looking good especially when we move over to actual gaming benchmarks here you can see that amd's ryzen 8000g gets up to nearly three times the performance when compared to last gen in a couple games with every game showing a pretty huge boost in performance finally according to the outlet the 8700g 8600 G and 8500g will be released on January 31st with the 8300 G launching later or as an oem only part either way we're finally getting more powerful desktop apus and depending on price lowend gpus may need to watch out and lastly for today the outlet that shared all the information on ryzen 8000g also claims that new CPUs and apus are being released for the am4 platform further proving that the am4 socket is one of the most Wells supported sockets in a long time according to the report am is planning to release the ryzen 7 5700 x3d and wccftech seems to also claim they're going to release the ryzen 5 5500 x3d the ryzen 7 model is apparently an 8 core 16 thread CPU with a 3 GHz space clock and a 4.1 GHz boost it also comes with 96 MB of L3 cache and a 105 wat CDP then the 5500 x3d is apparently a six core 12-thread CPU with a base clock of 3 GHz and a boost of four and it has the same 96 MB of L3 cache we don't have pricing or anything yet but these should obviously be cheaper than the 5800 x3d finally according to the report am is planning to release two new apus for the am4 socket the ryzen5 5600 GT and 5500 GT I'm not so sure what the T is for but I wonder if it comes with an rdna based igpu to counter the fact that AMD doesn't really support Vega anymore that's purely speculation but it's seriously impressive just how much AMD still supports their am4 platform fingers crossed they keep it up so while that does it for today are you pumped for way more powerful apus or are you just ready for more am4 parts let me know down in the comments below and don't forget to try out brilliant for free at brilliant.org gamermeld and as always have a great day
