turns out when that exhaust pipe fell off it ripped the cable out the lights on the side of the truck all fixed for now anyway [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] so [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] hey everybody it's ryan welcome back to all farms work we are on the last loads coming off the burton farm what's left they're going to throw on that wagon over there travis is going to haul that back down and put that into the bin at the main farm after this we're moving two farms over to one of mine and that's 54 acres so i think tonight um on our last fill-up of the night i'm gonna run the combine for a little bit so that'd be interesting about to take the last load of dads for the year down to gabalon after we do this field of mine travis has about 40 acres of his to go yet and then we'll be done with harvest so we're counting down but we're officially racing rain so they are calling for rain here in the next three days now we're not sure i don't think we're gonna be able to get everything done before the rain starts but i would like to get done as much as possible just because they are calling for snow in the forecast so anytime that there's snow involved in something it's always rushed to get as much done as you can all right we're gonna head out driving a freightliner is so exciting you never know if that burning smell is someone burning a pile of leaves or if the truck is starting on fire [Music] they're not taking any more corn with gabalon today or in dubuque so i had to bring it to hazel green this is much much slower moisture is perfect though 14.99 i have 50 minutes to be down at the elevator again so kind of in a hurry we're really pushing that two minute time limit to get this card unloaded i don't know if i'm gonna make it it's currently 416. and i'm gonna be pushing it as far as getting down there in time so i'm gonna try to drive the speed limit as much as i can not try to get caught behind anybody that's driving real slow i should be able to make it clear as long as there aren't any trains or slow drivers it should be fine the hard part is the hill climbs that i gotta do [Music] [Music] that's a lot of chickens [Music] well i've got 60 seconds to unload and get out of here before they close i guess i'll just have to wait huh these gates are walking around here like now don't be shy they're more afraid of you than you are of them so what do you do when you're driving down the freeway and someone cuts you off you overtake them and then you give them the old razzle dazzle not that i've ever done it of course [Music] now on your controller um you got one two three all right the way it's currently set up is one is to raise up like when you're going through a waterway or in your headlamp number two is actually your operating height number three i was using for down part so if you're right now your only buttons are one and two okay i was trying to run about three mile an hour but it seems how you're just getting used to it maybe two i think we're going to look into doing the road feelers so that way it'll auto steer because the combines got the sensors it needs to do it yeah i called up the elevator i'm like hey um ryan just sent me a picture of a train i'm pretty sure that that means that he's down there and he's you know basically just right there and he says i'm glad you called he's like and there he is so he's like evidently the train didn't slow him down too long but he's like yeah i'd rather you just call and let us know he's like if we know that a guy is in town and he's right here he's like we'll wait let's think you don't know it could be two minutes it could be ten minutes it's gonna be three hours basically what you're saying though is it's only safe at least i mean i didn't realize that first field that we harvested which was a mine had that much down horn in it so not having a corn rail or any of the roller coasters inside we were still able to go through and harvest all that down stuff and i think i only had to get out once twice once i only had to get out once because of the down part the second time i got out is because i had an ear of horn somehow wedged between the deck blades which all i would had to do was open up the deck plates that i could fine but [Music] so not having to control the header height just like half the work is taken away yeah i know you can focus more on driving that was an added perk that i didn't know we that we would have with this thing i'm looking forward to harvesting beans with it too just because efficiency honestly that's you know six rows 30 feet of material corn and beans basically is the best way to say it so you're taking a 30-foot swath across the field at 4 miles an hour ideally i mean your efficiency is so much better than what it was the 95 10. because unlike you and dad i had the privilege of going from running this back to running the 9510 and the horsepower and noticing the lack of horsepower the 9510 and definitely feeling it on that that hydraulic the hydrostat and the handle trying to move around i mean i love the snap here yeah this and horsepower with this thing is not a problem i haven't had a chance to hear it yet but you and dad everybody's saying how you can hear the turbo whistle with this thing fun isn't it you think you're you're lined up no i'm not no yeah you actually [Music] [Music] ahead up there i think you have to have the rotary beacon button on or something out there up this stuff is dry so i mean it flows like water back up again put it over the axle yes essentially i meant it just ahead of it but that's just how it works is right here because i'm trying to not put all the weight right on the hitch okay now swing it in and you're going two and a half mile an hour right did you get any corn in that bin i dumped one leg and this this gives me the second leg i did the math it's going to be three three wagon helps what it'll take yeah i'm actually kind of aggressive moisture well we just finished that farm of mine which is 54.5 acres and that leaves one field of travis's which is about 40 acres so travis has been hauling down with the 76 and the wagon to fill this small bin here so i'm putting my feed corn in this one but i should have corn left over to sell next year so this bin can historically fit around 2 200 2400 bushels pretty good but i'll use that to feed my calves and then whatever's left over whatever the price of corn is next year i'll sell it and these are the pudgy little guys that the corn is going to be feeding so there's actually one more out there with the cows yet that i've got to get in but i have not seen the cows since since i don't even know when because i have been gone during the day so the only time i've actually seen them was when i go out and check them at night and i don't see nearly all of them so i had let them out into both pastures but i can hear them balling now and i can actually see a couple on the other side of the fence here so i know that they're short on feed so uh i need to get probably this creep feeder out of here that's a big one and then the bean head is over there yet i need to take that out of the field and all the bales are taken off so we can let the cows out into the field i can also let them out into 11 acres over there as well but uh i'd like them to clear up that 11 acres because then when i let them out on the field they'll all be out here and that way they'll all be around home instead of spread out over the pastures that field ended up averaging 229 bushels to the acre which is fantastic if you ask me that makes me wonder what that other field of mine would have done if there wasn't uh wind damage in it but i expect to get some kind of payment out of insurance for that field because i do have wind insurance so we'll wait and see what the insurance agent has to say maybe he'll see that field that we just harvested and go yeah you know what you guys don't deserve a payment but i don't think it'll be like that but we'll just have to wait and see so that's pretty much it for this video guys thanks for watching be sure to check out all of our other videos we've got one farm left to harvest so i'll probably do some footage on that but uh harvest is pretty much a wrap this is gonna be the earliest we've finished harvesting in quite some time having that combine even though the truck is a big constraint right now definitely saves us time we can see it even at night because i'm home and it is six o'clock with the 95 10 it would easily be nine o'clock every night before we got back so definitely faster to fill the truck up at the end of the night and in the early in the mornings too i'll see you next time
