last night ruthie henshaw became the second camp mate to leave the i'm a celebrity castle russell watson and ruthie henshaw there's no business like what this is the performance area for ruthie i'm gonna rouge my knees these are all my stockings that's fabulous i'm gonna tell me about prince edward i genuinely fell in love with him and he said to me would you like to watch the film of a star is born and have some dinner he's got another one ruthie's going great guns too when hope was high and i pride myself on being such a tough cookie but i'm really not [Applause] ruthie say your goodbyes and we'll see you down in the studio in a minute well rithy joins me now everything we can see from that just that little clip you threw yourself heart and soul into this didn't you yes i most certainly did but you can't do it any other way and we were so lucky because we had such an incredible wonderful warm group of people that you were just in it from the very beginning it was incredible well i think you're right everybody's getting on very well and maybe that's a good thing because i think in these times we don't particularly want to see conflict and snarking and all of that it's actually quite nice to see everybody getting on well and helping one another i i absolutely agree with you and i think that you know that there doesn't need to be any controversy it it's such a warm lovely show this year and and i'm so proud to be a part of that group and i think we all in this sort of lockdown state needed a little bit of joy and happiness and you know the people in there i mean i had so many laughs i can't tell you it was a joy it was a brutal joy i've got to be honest it's not it's not the most comfortable of times i've ever had but haven't it was worse yeah having said that i think you you will have made friends for life don't you without a doubt we've we've already got a date all of us in the diary when we come out because something happened in there there was a bond that has happened and it will be there forever i think these are the people that you know two years down the line 10 years down the line you might not see them very often but you'll pick up the phone every so so often and say you know fancy a cup of tea fancy whatever because they are i don't know they just we've got in each other's hearts and yeah genuinely absolutely it's not a yeah it's a real bond now look the thing about it is is sometimes i guess you can forget the cameras are on and you had a few quite candid conversations and especially with shane and are you are you sort of thinking i wish i hadn't talked about prince edward as much or do you not mind do you think it's it's so long ago ruthie do you think it's okay it is it's it's a long time ago and um that but there is a certain amount of it that you completely forget and it was my first day in there and i didn't know that there were microphones everywhere i know this sounds like a silly thing to say but i really didn't so so the you know the the sort of fairly uh crass thing that i said at the beginning i said to make um shane laugh and had no idea that it would actually go out yeah so i'm yeah i learnt my lesson for sure for sure who do you think looking at them all it's hard isn't it because they're all your friends but who do you think might just do it might just win well i'll tell you who has been just a beauty all the way through is g um yeah all of them have i think vernon is just i mean he's delightful and delicious and um such a beautiful soul i i don't even know where to begin i mean you know victoria interesting and a grabber of life um shane funny funny funny i mean kept us in stitches aj delightful the women in there beverly um you know i have heard all about john and his being a mega shag so i don't know if i'm allowed to say that on television oh i think [Laughter] so so we have heard all about that and uh and she's a delight they they all are honestly i wouldn't like to say because um it could be any one of those and i absolutely thought it was my time to go last night because the the the people that are there are just so beautiful and so worthy of winning and as but as beverly said and i thought it was a lovely thing to say she said the moment you stepped in the door ruthie you were a winner she said we were all winners when we walked in here that's lovely and that's the best thing you never think sure that's the way to hang on to it ricky a joy to see you it must be a delight to be all clean and gorgeous and lovely and have nice food and be with your
